Holstering her handgun, her hand reaching up to unsling her mini-14 as she made her way to the back of the bus, probably going to watch the road leading back to the grocery store to make sure none of the zombies followed them, or just to do something as she waited for the rest to finish with the warehouse. Reduced to this..., leaning herself against the bus as her eyes paired out beyond the bus, chilled at how barren everything was, its true there hasn't really been a change ever since the virus outbreak, What if no matter what we do the earth will just continue to rot away...

Win nodded and waited for Rodger to start off. Win was beginning to get a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. The zombies were easy to take care of. They were slow and stupid. But other people? That was a whole new ballpark. Hell, that was an entirely different game. Were these people nuts? It didn't matter to Win, as long as they avoided any more casualties. Well, except for a couple other people. At that thought, Win grinned a little. He was only kidding, although no one could hear his thoughts. He didn't actually want anyone else to die. [red]"Come with me, Win,"[/red] a familiar voice told him. It was her again. He closed his eyes and shook his head for a moment, concentrating on everything that wasn't her. It worked. He could only keep it up so much longer, though. He needed something to numb his mind.

Ryan nodded, and with out a word made his way to the door on the right, sticking to the shadow, staying as close as he could to the wall of the building. He got into place, and waited. After a few secounds, he checked the door, He cracked it open, to see if anyone was close to that area. He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. He placed his fonger over the trigger, and waited for his signal.

Alex pressed the stock of his weapon to his shoulder and looked at Ryan, nodding his ready to him. He would be working with him, and they needed to be on the same page as far as knowing who was good to go ahead of time, now all he could do was press his back to the building, and await the order to move. He was still not liking acting like a wolf, taking a kill so to speak, where as in this situation it would be supplies. He sighed inwardly and undid the safety, and waited. it was all he could do

Rodger made his way to the back of the building, a large double-door entryway was where it should be, but locked. He sighed a bit and lifted his gun up with his right hand, using his left to fumble with the lock. He moved the gun down and looked away. He set the barrel on the chain and pulled the trigger, destroying the chain and the padlock fell down with it. He turned towards the door and knocked the remaining pieces of the lock to the ground. He motioned Win to come closer. He moved up his right arm and spoke into a small piece underneath his wrist.
"Go."
He stepped forward, and with a mighty kick, he knocked the doors open, he shouldered his weapon and moved into the very large warehouse with Win- strangely, it was dimly lit by small fires that lay dormant and vacant in the corners of the building.

Nadine placed a stick of gum on her tounge and let it sit there for a moment before biting down. A frown creased her face. "Well, f*ck me sideways," she stated in a loud, obnoxious voice. She didn't care who heard her. "And of course they take the back way." She shook her head. "Men are the most puzzling creatures to walk this earth, by the Lord. Well, if anything comes creeping over the hill, out of my line of vision and I can't shoot it, it's not One hundred percent my fault. It's ... fifteen percent my fault." She sighed, blowing a bubble and popping it. Just like it was fifteen percent my fault my brother and friends got killed, she thought bitterly, an unusually hateful expression crossing her face. Sh lifted the scope to her eye and began scanning the landscape in the vicinity of the warehouse.

Ryan pushed the door open, and raised his gun, nothing... He signaled behind him to Alex, and moved forward. He ducked behind a stack of boxes, and peaked to the corner. It was pretty dark, a serious of small fires created the only light. The spark of the fire was all that was heard, it was oddly quite. Ryan readied his gun, and stayed put in the shadows.

Win went in after L obediently. The way he thought of it, they were all playing a nice game of follow the leader. Of course, in this game, not following the leader meant a violent, gory, and sometimes slow death. In fact, a good percentage of the time it meant undeath. Undeath and shambling around aimlessly attacking and infecting anyone you came across, which meant more death and undeath until you were stopped with a bullet to the head. Just the thought of it made Win's blood run cold. That crap scared him. It honest-to-god scared him. He didn't like to admit that, though. Showing weakness wasn't something Win enjoyed during the Apocalyse.
Win noticed the fires immediately. He was perplexed by them because there were multiple fires with no one around any of them. That did not bode well. Matter of fact, it was a bad omen. A very bad omen. Win was more freaked out by this then he would be if there were zombies all over the place. "Hey, where d'ya think they all are, Rodge? I doubt they lit these for us."

Deugo didn't know what was going on outside. Nor did he really care. He simply tuned his guitar. Hearing Liz talk he looked over to her.
"Well, even if we die life will go on. The animals are smart. I've seen them, they will survive." He then plucked at one of the strings. "And the trees and shrubs wont be infected. All we have is here and now. Don't worry so much and just try and enjoy the ride best you can." Smiling Deugo began to sing a little country song as people started to come back in. He sang quiet as not to interrupt peoples peace but loud enough to perhaps entertain one or two.
"You know my daddy dug gates for his whole life And he never knew nothing more Yeah and his daddy done the dig like his old man Who had dug before the war And though she couldn't have known till I was born My poor mama God rest her soul Like them I come out diggin'"
He then smiled and looked out the window at the vast nothingness
"Well I was layin' out wire on number 9 Now when she come down to earth And she was talkin' real loud All about she was gonna save the universe I went and snuck a lil' peek in her blue eyes And words just aren't enough She had me off and runnin"
He then let out a small chuckle and stummed a little louder
"Could it be that I got bored and lonely Could it be that I'm just dumb and corney Could it be that Lady Luck has smiled herself on me"
"She wore rattlesnake boots, a sassy mood She had me laughin' in my tears The most beautiful thing, so young and sweet A little green behind the ears She took me higher then I ever been Lordy what have I been missin' Now 'she's the one' I'm thinkin"
"Could it be that I got bored and lonely Could it be that I'm just dumb and corney Could it be that Lady Luck has smiled herself on me She's smilin' down on me, yeah"
"Come a little closer Let me show you how it could be Spacy little cowgirl Come a little closer to me"

Alex watched as Ryan, Win, L, and the other Alex left for the were house. "C'mon, I've been looking for an exuse to use my trigger finger and this is what I'm stuck doing?" Alex muttered in jealousy. He heard Nadine talking and sighed as he began to lean onto the VW. Alex looked out into the dsert like landscape once again and thought about what he said earlier. As he shook his head in deafeat Alex said, "You know, this whole world is gone so what can we really do. There arn't really any safe places and the things will eventually catch up to us weather it's in ten days or one million."

Alex pushed into the room, and he stuck to the shadows as he looked around. He didnt see anything, but it was dark enough to keep him from it. All he saw were a few small fires, people had been here reciently, a fool could see that much. He hugged the wall and kept to the dark, looking for any movement. He took note of Ryans position and he made sure to make a mental note that if gunfire erupted he would not shoot that direction

Rodger slowed his movement and made his rounds along with width and length of the room, taking a spot check on who's with him and how many bodies are in the area. Four. He nodded to himself and walked to a nearby switch. He lifted it up with the barrel of his gun. Nothing. He sighed a bit and flipped it back down. Something shining caught his eyes to his left. He slowly approached it. He was headed towards the front doors of the building, but moreso in the center of the room. He stopped once he stepped in front of a stack of wooden crates with no distinctive markings on them. He poked one of the crates with the barrel of his Carbine. Nothing. He slung his carbine around to his back and grasped the crate on either side of the lid with both hands, pulling up roughly and ripping it off, setting the lid next to it. He slung his Carbine back to his front and shouldered it, pointing the bright light into the crate. Ammo.
"Alright. These crates contain ammunition. Watch your backs, where's there's smoke, there's fire."

Ryan watched from the shadows, he whispered over to Rodger. "Should I get some of the others?"
His eyes still scanning the area, someone was in here, he felt it, and he wasn't quite ready to reveal himself. He looked over at a box next to him, he was actually half way sitting on it. It was to dark to read what the writing said. He looked around, seeing no one, opened the box. He looked around again, and reached into the box. Inside the boz was another box, and a small pull like... trigger? He pulled it out, C4, and a trigger to blow it. It probley wasn't set, but it was scary holding the explosive device. He checked it to see that it wasn't set, then placed it in his back pocket, and the trigger in his left pocket. This place was a bomb, just one big bomb. If something goes up, the whole place would. He hoped to find more explosives. He knew quite a bit about grenades, and hand held explosives. He could identify, defuse, and even make them. After what happened with the birds, Ryan found that carrying one of these would prove to be worth it.
(Stop me if I went too far.)
Ryan looked around again, the others seemed to be moving up a bit more. Ryan slung his shotgun, and pulled out his raptor again. His eyes kept looking above them.

Nadine sighed, adjusting the shirt she wore. It was bright yellow and was overly large on her slender frame, and hung off one shoulder. Très chic, she though dismally. She frowned, lifting her sniper gun. A single zombie staggered across the sand, perhaps no more then a mile away. She focused in on the creature until Nadine could see the whites of its eye's. "Hey there, sexy lay-dee. How you doin'?" She fired a single bullet which pierced the zombies temple. It dropped to the ground, jerking backwards. It was dead once more. The young woman smiled and lowered her gun. "Ay bay bay." She wiped her nose and set her gun down, staring around her, trying to locate more movement. She hummed softly, a Disney song. Something from Pocahontas, or at least it was if she remmebered correctly.
She heard what Alex said. "Yeah, that's true. And about what you said earlier? About why the earth is after dying? The animals have become infected as well as the humans, therefore the worlds insect population has either died or become zombified. It all creates some sort of epic chain reaction, and plants need pollenation, and without it, they'll die in turn. Plants will wither away and die, rivers will eventually become polluted with corpses and, in turn, they'll dry up. It's simple biology and science that explains that. See what happens when you pay attention in biology class?" She shrugged and resumed scanning the surface. She didn't care if he heard her or not, but it needed to be said.

Leaning against the bumper of the bus, Liz snapped her eyes towards Nadine ontop of the VW bus before returning her attention back to the endless expanse of desert stretching beyond, wondering if the entire world was like this...just one endless desert going on and on for as far as you could see. Shivering at her own thoughts as she returned her attention back to the song Duego was playing, it was faint from where she was standing but it was better than listening to her own depressing thoughts. Reaching up to rub her eyes as some sand was blown past her when the wind picked up, Feels like a storm is comming..., lifting her mini-14 till the stock was against her shoulder as she eyed a distant dust cloud.
I wonder what's causing that...., wishing that her own rifle had a scope like Nadine's, but it has been awhile since she last found a usable scope after her old one shattered.
