Original RE1 Opening:I myself have only played through the first 15 minutes of the original game and can barely recall the opening real footage cinematic of it. I was about ten at the time as well, so that was around 7-8 years ago. Out of interest, I decided to look it up on you tube and felt that little fanboy spark turn into a flame upon watching the video again. It's so B-grade, yet so loveable for the game itself, and hilarious for how it was setup. It's a pity something like this will die out seeing how many young RE fans would end up playing REmake instead of the original. I myself am lucky to have at least experienced the beginning of the game. I remember that so well. This movie was so awesome at the time, and I didn't think twice about the acting. But now, in retrospect, it was so horrible.. It's nostalgic.

Ah man. I haven't played the original RE since I was eleven or twelve, which was about seven or eight years ago. I've been asking my family for it for either christmas or my birthday for the past 3 years, but I haven't gotten it. I never really got to see the end of it...hell, I can only vaguely remember part of the beginning and some of the middle.
The openings are quite different, but I think I like the Remake's opening better.

wow thats weird i just got done beating the first one over again for playstation lol the original film in the began was i think a great idea for a playstation game and now that i think of it it was also a great inspiration to me on why i got into resident evil.
