Hahaha... those were the good ol days man.....
I remember me and my friends back in Japan, playing the game for the first time... our hearts would start pumping hard when we heard that creepy "BIOHAZARD" voice whenever you start the game, the fear factor of running through that famous corridor and dogs would come out (I nearly wet my pants), fighting a bunch of zombies with a dinky combat knife, the bosses, the puzzles... man I miss those times.
I even remember the part about going against that giant snake and we were all screaming like children and my mother came bursting to the door even scarier than the snake, shouting at us that we could be heard through out the apartment....
Haha... watas***achi wa bakaero.

I first got introduced into RE by RE3, I picked it up like, a long time ago! Probs 8-10 years ago, and OMD it was amazing. I absolutely loved it, still do, its one of my favourite games to date. RE1 was a lot scarier for me, when I played it I was like WOW, being in the mansion, playing at like 11 at night, by myself, getting scared badly! It was sick, I still miss playing it. At the time the intro scared me a lot, probably because it had real actors! It was a lot more horror based, I can't say though that RE3 wasn't! Nemesis would just APPEAR from nowhere, swinging his rocket launcher when you would be on Danger, I honestly got to the point where I thought he was impossible to kill! LOL good times, good times ;D

Even if the graphic's weren't that good and they had cheesy acting it tis still the original and the original is always the best no matter what because without it there wouldn't have been a series that we love soo much! Besides the game isn't about how good it looks it about how good the storyline and playing the actual game. As long as I know what everything is and where I'm going I don't care how clear the picture is! (of course this is just my opinion) Oh and has anyone read the books too?

Ah yes the original, not the best one mind you since it did have cheesy dialogue, it still wasa good game and i loved the opening so much the movies dissapointed when they departed from the storyline. If they'd have just stuck with that i'd have been happy, but not really, I wish they had because RE was very fun and all i saw were the monsters and a few things, but it wasn't really RE ish to me.

I remember getting into RE when i was like 6 or 7 and watched my dad play it. "I was like woah! Thats sweet! Can i play!?" And my dad let me. I was really bad though, and looking back at the original RE1 I'm surprised at how bad the graphics are but love it!

I wish they had included the real uncut version with Director's Cut, but the ESRB is full of pathetic wimps "Oh noes, Chris can't smoke! And Joseph can't put up a fight before getting killed!11!1! Even though it's rated M we still need to make it appropriate!"

Even though it's rated M we still need to make it appropriate!" Chris just doesn't seem like the character who would smoke. The creators have made him out to be an angel like character who is above anything petty. You can't be a good guy and smoke at the same time ;D I mean look at the RE movies, everybody smokes. You got any smokes? No??? How about pot? No? How about crack!!!!!

Bio-hazard series that hit Japan like a f***ing Tsunami caught a friend of mines attention who happens to be three years older than me. His brother always got PS games shipped from Japan and had all the contacts to do so. It was kind of hard for me to understand what they were saying, but I remember that the "Plot" did not really matter. The doors and puzzles got really confusing but luckily it was not "THAT" confusing to figure out... We beat Bio-hazard not knowing a bit of Japanese in three days... The First Go Around. Anyone else that had not played Bio-hazard, or Resident Evil at the time... Flunked out...
The opening movie for Resident Evil ( Chris on the Front Addition) was great. Chris Redfield was always my favorite character because I'd picture him going ape sh1t because he dropped his smokes while the Cerberus were chasing them. That movie is almost as great as the LOST... Twisted Metal Movies....
" You don't know what it was like... You said everything was going to be alright!!!" Needles Kane... Driver of Sweet Tooth, " BOO!!!" (Automatic Gunfire...)
Not trying to go off topic here... Stay on course...

It's like a song goes 'Sometimes good guys don't wear white.' Well, sometimes good guys smoke da tobacco. And please, don't compare the games to the movies like that. That's blasphemy, punishable by death according to the Holy Church of Resident Evil.
