Elijha was one for checking her surroundings before she ever entered the perimeter. She did a once around of the building, and the surrounding block. Checking for possible exits and entrances. Then she entered from the back and did a once around of the building before she slid the motorcycle to a stop beside John's bike. Sitting for a moment she gazed up at the building. Her visor gleaming slightly as it scanned the building. After which she removed the helmet and locked it in place. Steadying her bike, and securing it for easy access. She turned on her heals and made her way toward the group. It was then that she heard the sound of glass breaking. Turning back to see one of the creatures drop.
"Looks like someone doesn't want to wait for orders," she said as she approached the group. Her eyes gazing around the group knowing that the one who called himself Zack was she sniper, and then there was the lab boy with the pet rat. Though she had seen his van when she did a round around the building. She crossed her arms as she leaned up against the doors of the SWAT van and waited for Marvin to give his orders.

Intro's weren't exactly what Leo imagined; he got to know a couple of the other hunters, Ryan and John; asides from them the rest of the hunters appeared more inept conversation wise. Moments after Leo was surprised to hear Zach speak up, although saving as many consonants as possible. Leo rubbed an itchy eye and decided to give up on the fiasco for now. He had to admit for being someone who was pretty good at not being surprised, the alarm caught him off guard. He shuddered slightly from the sudden rise of sound, at the same time the suit returned ordering them to head out onto the field. 'First official meet up, first official assignment. Convenient,' Leo thought, he moved out into the garage as did the rest of the hunters. This gave Leo the oportunity to match each hunter up with each of their vehicles. Two motorbikes, bit bulky but could fit into tight locations. Muscle. The 'Callahan' dude was getting into a S.W.A.T. vehicle. A Media van? Leo wondered whether he was the sporting the only tuner in the pack...then again, there was another of the female hunters who still hadn't joined them. She was back in the shooting range still. 'Selective hearing,' Leo thought. Leo vaulted over the bonnet of his RX8, he wasn't too concerned on scuffing it; one thing he really wanted to do was make it look beat up, kind of a strange wish, but to make your car look like the tuner version of something out of Mad Max...why not? He shrugged mentally at the thought, but at least he wasn't like all the other car enthusiasts who thought keeping their car clean was more important than their life. Ironically what would happen is you've have a situation where a person would be pointing a firearm at one of these enthusiasts, who is blocking the car so this person with the gun doesn't mess it. The whole scenario unfolds with the enthusiasts blood covering the paint work of the car. Leo threw the shotgun in the back seat, he figured precision might be a little better for a first assignment. He chose his loadout as his Beretta 93R and MP7 PDW...it'd do, the sported bullets were Hollow Point instead of FMJ which would result in better damage. The key in the ignition turned and Leo fired up his tuner, he wasn't aiming for style though so no burning rubber was appropriate.
Through the course of time... Everyone had sort of gone their seperate ways in terms of speed, it was interesting how they were all a piece of the law but for some unknown reason everybody decided going well over the limit was suitable. Hey, Leo was speeding, he had to get to the Akropalis, but he wasn't prepared to clock 170 and wind up in some accident. The situation in total was fairly uninspired by anything but the flames. It was a mess. Leo stepped out of his RX8 looking up at the many stories of the Akropalis. He walked around to the boot, opening it and pulling out his shoudler holster, strapping it over his chest. He placed his M93R in the holster under his left shoulder and then slung his MP7 PDW over his right shoulder. Lastly, Leo grabbed a 250ml bottle of water and slid it into a catch on his belt. Leo approached Callahan and the other Hunters that had managed to congregate together.

STORY POST Marv looked at everyone in the group. He was pretty sure that everyone was here. He lit a cigarette and breathed deeply. He didnt think of what to say, just did what he had learned from a sergent in German. Wing it... "Ok, listen up. Some of you may know what to expect, some of you may not. Some of you have combat experience, some of you dont. None of that matters if I do my job and we all look out for each other. Some of you have a problem with some others in our little group..." He looked in Zach's direction as he said this. "but that doesnt matter. If you have something to say, say it here, because when we get up there there will be no bullsh*t of any kind. Guns dont kill people, monsters dont kill people, bullsh*t does. We go up there, the bullsh*t stays here. You follow all orders I give without hesitation. If you do, I give my word that you will all make it out fine. "Now, we are going in hard to the lobby. We are going to locate the SWAT team to find out what we are dealing with. We are going to find whatever made them dead, and make it the same. We go floor by floor, root out whatever is there that isnt human, and exterminate it. Log any NMC's you kill for the suits back at HQ. "From the specs Brent found, there seems to be a few NMC's that arnt indigidus to this area. That means they are either on vacation or someone put them here. If thats the case, we may have more than the monsters to deal with." He looked at the cigarette but in his hands and dropped it on the ground. Stubbing it out with his boot, he heafted his Thompson and looked toward the door. "I'll take point. Snipers, in the back. Everyone else, watch the sides." With that, the group was at the entrance of the building, Marv in front. He pushed the doors open and walked in. What they saw were several NMC's, dead. Zach had seen to that. Accross the hall, there was a large map of the building, along with a set of elevators. the elevators went up to 10. "Ok, teams of four. We sweep the floors one after the other in multiples. Team one, take the even floors. Team two, odd. Team one is myself, Leo, Brent, and Elijha. Team two, Zach, John, Genesis, and Ryan. We'll meet back here when were done. Anything happens, report back here. Clear?" Marv didnt wait for anyone to answer his question. He walked over to the right elevator and hit the button for the second floor.

Ryan stepped forward, his M8 ready, and loaded. He flipped on the laser, and switched the safety off. He walked over to the other elevator, and hit the button. The light above the door flashed a green "10". There were a few seconds between that and when it changed to "9". Ryan stood there looking at the elevator, focused on the doors. He turned and put his back to the, and took a few steps forward from the door, and looked both ways. He then looked back at the group.
"I don't know about you three, but I'd feel much safer if we took the stairs."
The elevator light blinked a green "5"
"I figure if this floor is similar to the other 9, it'd be safer to come out through the corner of the room where the staircase is, rather then the center of the room. It'll allow us to keep our back against something, and also ensure a safe escape if needed, I wouldn't depend on an elevator." Ryan walked over to the map. "The staircase is here." He pointed to the top right corner. "It leads all the way up to the 10th floor. And the Elevator is... here." He pointed with his other hand. "The stairs would be the most logical approch." He had alot of S.W.A.T experience, but it was probleybest not to mention that, considering the last S.W.A.T team was lost here.

Brent hesitated slightly. His big rifle was still in the van. It was effective but often proved a hinderence. It was effective against the big boys because you couldn't miss them but he had no sence of aim what so ever. To tell the truth he was only really here so he could be one of the 'suites' on hand. Putting his laptop away he took out his shotgun and snapped in open. In one barrel he put a normal buckshot but in the other he put a specialised slug. Inside was a large hyperdermic needle to extract DNA for him to annalzyse and use later. After placing that aside for later he took out his micro-uzi. Adjusting his goggles he looked up the building viewing the parasite levels. He then was awe struck.
"Captain. The parasite has bled on the upper level. It looks like it might have control of the ETIRE upper structure." He then zoomed in. after which he spotted large and malformed crows on the ledges. "We have winged targets on the roof as well. I'm not sure if they've picked us out yet."

Elijha looked up as Brent spoke. She smiled a bit before looking at him. "Don't worry about the birds. I highly doubt they will chose to come down this low. Especially in the path of gun fire. Though it'll be more dangerous when we hit the roof," she said as she followed after Marvin. Her hands resting on the small of her back where her archangel blades laid hidden by her almost coat like shirt. Both her Smith and Wesson's were on her right and left hip, viewable to everyone. She was a duel wielder on up close and personal, but a snipper at long range. Though in a building like this her Remington 700 would be useless. So that remained attached to the bike.
Stepping into the elevator with Marvin. She ran her hand along the wall. Smiling again at the thoughts that ran threw her head. Building on top of building. Nothing in man kind was without some type of metal. Not even a human being, the iron that runs threw a persons blood, or a creatures blood. Made them a perfect weapon for her. Though granted it would be the last thing she would ever do, and not to mention the tole it would take on her if she did. Still the fact that man kind wasn't without a metal of some sort. It just significant on how much damage she could really do if she chose it. Shaking the thought from mind she stood at the back of the elevator, and waited for the others.

(I'm back, finally well enough to post)
Being split up into teams worked for her. She had to admit, she had been very quiet during the 'introductions' for the various team members, invisible almost. It was just the usual for her, sitting quietly and listening. She knew that unfortunately, she was with Zach, the guy that seemed to have a problem with everyone. The rest seemed okay, she was just here for the mission, nothing more. Problem, or no problem, their 'commander' was right, it didn't matter. 'Say it here' came into it, though no one else seemed to have a problem with anyone. She almost laughed, this was going to be fun.
The elevator let out a 'bing' in front of them, the number 5 popping up ahead. It slid open, and they stepped into the elevator, the doors sliding shut. The rest of the team talked about the birds above, they looked like Ravens to Genesis.... She used to have a bird farm back home where she lived, but this wasn't time for those memories. Right now, she had a job to do. The elevator moved along, as usual, and Genesis fingered her two handguns on either side of her. She would be ready....

(You just pigeonholed us, SSJ. We weren't planning on taking the elevator =P, plus, we're on the first floor-not the fifth yet. )
Zach stood quietly in the back of the elevator, his sniper rifle hanging loosely on his back as his hands hovered over his pistols. The door opened. They were on level 5 now. He stepped out first and withdrew both pistols from either holster. He looked both ways and nodded, letting his weapons hang in his hands loosely on either side. He didn't like having to work with these people, an he wasn't going to let this.. Talkative man become self-designated leader.
"One person comes with me. I'll take the southern route."
With that, he turned and walked away. He knew it was stupid to go alone, but he never planned on going alone. Someone was going to come with him one way or another. Hell, dual .45's would only go so far when it comes to a room full of baddies. His feet continued shuffling as he walked down the long hallway cautiously, his index fingers sliding over their corresponding triggers as he slowly meandered down the hall, silently waiting.

John listened as their leader Marv gave out their briefing on what they were doing and who was going in what team, once he had finished briefing him and everyone else, John nodded and started walking with Zach, Genesis and Ryan towards the elevator. After they had gone in, they started heading up to the 5th floor.
Once they reached the 5th floor he saw as Zach started walking down the southern passage, seeing as nobody else was going to stay with him. John sighed and said to Ryan and Genesis.
"Alright, ill head with Zach to the southern area of the floor, guess you two will take the northern area, we'll meet back at the elevator once the floor is clear"
After he had finished talking, John started walking down with Zach to the southern area, after he caught up with him, he pulled out his gun, and said to Zach as he made a small fireball in his hand.
"Guess I'm partnering up with you then... Just watch my back and ill watch yours"
With that the two of them kept on moving, the creatures would pop up at some point and when they do. John would be ready.

"Stupid son of a bi*ch..." Marv said, watching Zach walk away. He was a bit to confident in what he could do. "If Mr. Jerk off of all trades wants to disobey my orders, then I'll be happy to chip in for his casket. Team one, same plan. Stay with me and dont seperate unless I say. I want a wall up tighter than a duck's a*shole. Anything you see that is less than human, shoot. I dont care if its an NMC or a da*m dog, kill it."
His team was with him in the elevator. The first place they were going to clear was floor two. The elevator acended when he punched the button. As soon as the doors closed, he spoke.
"Ok, two on each side. One kneeled, one standing. Be ready to fire as soon as the doors open. Their wily little bast*rds."
As he talked, he stood back with his Thompson on the right of the elevator.

Leo was losing morale on the strength of the group. First assignment and already there was negative thoughts. He pulled himself together, like Callahan had said, personal thoughts were left behind; this was strictly business.
Leo crouched at one side of the elevator as it traveled up to the 2nd floor, he looked behind him out of the glass window of the elevator and watched as they gained altitude. Realistically the elevator was on the outside of the building, which Leo always found strange considering the excessive dangers of it under certain scenarios; it probably helped for architects, giving them more room and not need to figure out where to place the elevators and dimensions and such.
Leo heard the ping of the elevator arriving to their floor and immediately his head snapped back to the door as it slid over. From how the four of them were set out they had fairly good coverage of the floor when they arrived, if anyone noticed anything out of the ordinaire then they'd all know. Leo didn't spot anything though from his field of vision, he waited several more seconds for the rest of his team to register their surroundings before guesstimating in the window of time that it was taking them so long to spot anything that the immediate area was clear.
Leo stepped out of his spot and to the left of the elevator allowing the person behind him to move out.

Unlike the others, Brent didn't bother to take a tactical position but stayed standing and looked into the hallway using his goggles. With his uzi in one hand he adjusted the lenses and found two colored streaks along the floor of the hallway. "I see two parasitic trails. Ones a standard alpha class but I don't recognise the chemical makeup of the second trail. I'm not sure what it is but it looks like it's probably pretty big." He then zoomed to the far end of the hallway. He instantly frowned. "Two corpses....this is odd. They wern't bitten or beaten....but their skin. It's been melted off almost like someone poured acid on them or something."

Elijha's hands remained at her side, her guns remaining in their holster as she moved out of the elevator. Her eyes scanning their surroundings as they waited for the order to move. She picked up on a faint oder in the air, more than likely the gun powder from the weapons fired. Strangely enough the ammo wasn't spread across the floor like she had expected. Though this was only the second floor. They had said the fight took more toward the upper levels. Danger lay on every floor, and a small group of 4 to each level. Enhanced humans or not the danger was as real, and threatening to each. All in their own way. The matter wasn't to fight the enemy, but to stay alive long enough to complete the enemy. With hopes of making it out alive.

(Are you sure about that Bakuyu? If so, then ok, I'll kill you off. If not, just delete that last post and say you stayed with the group.) STORY POST [/color] Team one exited the elevator and say the SWAT corpses. Brent was right, it looked like they had been burned to death. But what NMC used acid as a weapon? Marv couldnt recall any that did. "Ok, Brent, test for anything in the room that we can use to get some more information. The bodies, the cell trail, whatever. Elijha, stay with him and watch his back. Leo, go to the left and scan the floor. I'll take the right. Everyone use extream caution." On the third floor, team two was met with a similer sight. There were no dead SWAT members, however. Only civilians. They could see no NMC's, but the dead bodies of the people were proof enough that they were there.
