Vincent saw the girl run away and trip over her dress. At first, Vincent was still worried that it may be some type of trap, but, when she started crying, Vincent could tell it was in earnest
"Jesus," Vincent sighed, releasing the grip on his weapon. He had felt bad for scaring a civilian (which he assumed her to be by the little "scene") by preparing to pull a gun on her.
Quickly throwing his jacket over his weapon, Vincent walked over to the girl and knelt down by her.
"You okay?" Vincent asked as soothingly as possible, pulling out some first-aid equipment. Vincent could tell that the girl was on edge about something (probably almost being shot by him) so he tried to comfort her.
"Don't worry, I'm a good guy," Vincent told her, rummaging through his kit. "I didn't mean to scare you like that, I'm just very jumpy tonight, that's all." Vincent finally found what he was looking for (a bandage and some disinfectant) and laid it out in front of him, putting the kit back on his belt.
"Here, can I see your hands?" Vincent asked, trying to sound as kind as possible. Before she replied, Vincent began gently easing her hands out in front of her and began applying the disinfectant to her wounds.
"So, do you have a name?" Vincent questioned, still looking at her hands.

Jake watched as Vincent helped the girl after she tripped, she would be fine. He then turned his attention towards the man on the ground, who was waking up again, looking to see more people with Jake, he started moving to the wall nearby, with a smirk, he looked towards the man with a serious look and said to him.
"Boo"
With that, the man ran as fast as he could out of the alleyway, he wouldn't be too much of a problem to the civilians, for now at lest. He then turned his attention towards Vincent and the girl, he then said to Vincent as he looked to the girl with a kind smile.
"So Vincent, is she ok?"

Elijha shook as Vincent tended to her hands. She looked up at him slowly as if terrified to look at him. Her eyes shifting faintly as if terror over took her. She screamed out as she jerked her hands away from him, brining them up to her head as she continued to scream. It was about that time her screams were drawing the attention to those on the other side of the street. She shook her head as she pushed him away and climbed to her feet. "S- so much violence . . . so much death," she cried as she back into the wall. Her eyes never leaving him. She gritted her teeth as her head screamed with images of the past. "DEATH . . . JUDGMENT . . . NO NO NO MAKE IT STOP!!!" she screamed as she grabbed her head. "HUNTER NO DEATH WHY?!" she continued to scream as she glared at Vincent almost with a look to kill.

Tommy looked down at Elijha and then to the voices he heard behind him. People were starting to gather around, and he knew that they would end up doing something counterproductive like calling the cops or an ambulance.
"Ok, we have to move her. We need a place to stay until she comes down." He said, looking around for a place they could go. There, at the end of that block, was a building called the "Ashcroft Inn". It was perfect.
"Ok, there." He said, pointing toward the building. He would let them take care of her, but he figured he would go on crowd control.
"Ok people, nothing to see here. Our friend just forgot to take her meds is all. Everythings fine." He told the small group of people that started to gather. He quickly looked behind him and said "Go." in a quiet tone.

Vincent backed up quickly and reached for his gun.
"You think she's a demon?" Vincent was about to ask, when he saw Tommy turn around. Fearing the worst, Vincent turned and saw what Tommy was looking at. A mob of people.
"Sh!t," Vincent muttered, "They're gonna call the f**kin' cops."
After Tommy's suggestion, Vincent nodded and grabbed the girl, lifting her up gently yet firmly.
"Come on!" Vincent said soothingly. "We're going to the Ashcroft Inn, okay? Then, once we're alone, maybe we can work on getting rid of those voices, okay?'

Elijha continued to scream as Vincent picked her up. She tried kicking and hitting him to break free of his grasp. "LET GO LET GO!!" she continued to scream as Vincent carried her to the inn. Panting heavily as she continued to struggle, her bottle of pills fell out of her coat pocket. She had managed t strike Vincent several times in the face with her fist. "MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE GO AWAY!" she continued to scream as she thrashed about in Vincents arms, kicking and hitting him at every possible turn.

Jake watched as Elijha seemed to have snapped, screaming about death or something like that, he felt sorry for her, it must be tough having to go through that, suddenly, a small bottle of pills fell out of her pocket, he sighed as he walked up and quickly picked up the pills, avoiding to get hit by Elijha in her crazed state. He then turned towards Vincent and said to her while showing the pills he found.
"I just saw this fall out of her pocket, perhaps this is her medication?"
He then turned towards the crowd of people, this could be a problem if the cops come into this, and he knew what the cops would do next, since he was once a cop himself.

Vincent struggled to hold on to the girl. Though she wasn't extremely strong, her flailing was making it difficult to hold on.
"I just saw this fall out of her pocket, perhaps this is her medication?"
Vincent turned to the Hunter and grabbed the bottle.
"I'm sorry, but I have to do this," Vincent told the girl, prying open her mouth as she slashed him across the face with her nails. When he had opened her mouth (after much difficulty) he shoved two pills in her mouth; then shoved the rest in his pocket. With the two pills in her mouth, Vincent quickly shut her mouth with one hand and massaged her throat with the other.
"You gotta swallow the pills, hon," Vincent whispered soothingly, "It'll get rid of the voices."
Vincent heard her swallow. He didn't know if she had swallowed the pills or not, but he had to deal with the crowd.
"Take her inside, and rent a room." Vincent told the other Hunter, tossing him a small roll of twenties. "Get her in bed; then come back down. Understand."
Without waiting for an answer, Vincent shoved the girl into Jake's arms and walked to the crowd of people.
"Do not worry, my children," Vincent shouted calmly, pulling his priests collar out and flashing it. "I am a priest of the Arkham Catholic Church, just a couple miles north. We are escorting a patient to the Asylum here in Arklay. There is no reason to be frightened, she is harmless, just a sever cause of paranoia. The only problem is she forgot to take her medication. We have just given it to her and put her to bed. She won't trouble you anymore! You may all rest easy now!"
"Shouldn't we call an ambulance or something?" One of the citizens asked.
"No, no," Vincent shouted hurriedly. "She doesn't need a hospital. She needs sleep. Now, I thank you for your concern, I must now go check on her. Good night, my children, and God bless you."
After saying this, Vincent walked into the lobby, lit up a smoke, and waited for Jake.

Elijha continued to scream as she thrashed about in Jake's arms. She tried to break free of the man's grip, but she could feel the medication starting to take effect. She finally calmed down enough to rest her head on Jack's shoulder Still she continued to cry, and she was continuing to breath heavily. Her hands gripped Jack tightly as he carried her into the Inn. "Please . . . please make them stop," she cried as she continued to clutch him tightly.

Jake sighed in relief as Elijha calmed down, hearing her still mumbling about her visions, he did what he could to comfort her, he said to her in a kind tone as they entered the inn.
"Dont worry, everything will be alright, ill make sure that you will be safe"
After he got inside the inn and was in the lobby area, he looked towards Vincent, who was having a smoke. nodding to him, he said to him with Elijha in his arms.
"She should be fine now, all she probibly needs is some rest, can you see if we can get a room for her to rest in?"

"Taken care of. Room 13." Tommy said, walking to the group from the hotel desk. When Vincent had tossed the money and was talking down the crowd, he had ran to the office and rented the room.
"Come on, lets go." He said, jogging to the door and opening it. He jogged ahead and opened the door to the room with the key he had been given.
It was a simple room. There was a small hallway leading into a living/bedroom area. A TV, a nightside table, a bed, and a closet were all that was in the room. Off to the side, there was a small bathroom.
"Roomey..." He said, holding the door open and waving to them to hurry up.

"Wow," Vincent exclaimed as they walked to the room. "I'm surprised they even have a room 13. Most of these places are all superstitious."
Once they entered the room, Vincent immediately walked over to the minifridge.
"You gotta be f**kin' kidding me," Vincent hissed when he looked into the empty fridge. "Not even a beer."
Realizing he only had the alcohol on him, Vincent went and sat by the window to have a smoke, taking a sip of his whiskey.
"Well, what now?" Vincent asked after lighting up. "Do we just wait around for more instructions from the Messengers? And, what are we doing with her?" Vincent pointed to the girl. He had nothing wrong with her, but he didn't want to drag her around just so she could have a fit during a gun fight. He didn't even know how she would react in a gun fight.
"I think we should just leave her here, maybe call an ambulance in the morning or something and just ditch her while she's still asleep."

Elijha gripped Jake's cloths tightly as she shook her head. "Please don't leave me, please," she pleaded with him as she buried her face into his neck. "I- I do- don't have anywhere to go . . . t- they'll j- just kick me out on the street li- like they always do," she cried as she held him tightly. She shook her head as her hair fell from it's bun. Her arms tightly holding Jake as she continued to cry. "P- please d- don't send me away . . . please d- don't." She continued to cry until she had cried herself to sleep in his arms.

"I dont think she's babbling randomly. I once met a hunter who was about as crazy as her. Dude could see things no one else could. and not like us. We can see demons and rots for what they are. No, he was a psychic or something. Could read peoples minds, could tell what was going on and what demons were doing miles away. Anyway, she could prove useful if she can do anything like that."
He sat on the windowsill and looked out it. The streets were once again nearly empty. The people who had gathered to gawk at Elijha had gone on to better things, and now the only people out in the streets were people passing by.
"Where is everyone anyway?" He asked no one in particular.
"Why is it that there is absolutley no one in the streets. This place isnt that big that it has tons of things for people to do. So where are they?"
--------------------------------------------------
Across town, a lone man stood at a table, reading from a book that looked hundreds of years old. He was muttering incantations of some sort, every so often glancing up to look at a wall on the other side of the room. On the wall, a strange symbol that looked like a circle with runes in it was drawn in what looked like blood.
In the corner, a cage rattled with the movments of the people inside. Five people struggled to escape as the man read from his book.
After several more minutes of this, the man looked down towards the floor.
"I call upon you, Nephrack, lord of all that is dark and evil! Arise! Take this world as it is rightfully yours! I offer you the blood of the innocent and the wicked as a tribute! RISE!"
As he spoke, he grabbed two objects from the table. A small machine pistol, and a curved sacraficial knife. Walking toward the cage, he aimed the gun at the people and fired. When the clip went dry, all five were dead.
He bent down at the small bowl that was collecting blood and picked it up. He splashed it on the wall with the marking. Grasping the knife tightly, he plunged it into his own chest. Ripping it out, blood sprayed forward, onto the wall.
Black light shone forth from the symbol. The wall started to crack, and open. From the darkness, an entity that resembled nothing on the face of the earth emerged.
"I offer myself to thee..." He said, his final breath escaping his lips as he fell forward.
The entity turned to smoke and floated into the open wound. It instantly healed and the man stood. He breathed in deeply, and smiled.
"Finally..." It said, and walked up the stairs.
--------------------------------------------------
Back at the hotel, Tommy gasped a bit.
"Did you guys feel that?" He asked, not a moment after he wondered aloud about where the people in town were.

Vincent sat by the window, staring out into the night as Tommy mentioned something about psychics.
"That could explain why she freaked when she saw me," Vincent sighed, thinking back to all his missions. All his confessions, all his judgments, it must have all hit her at once. He couldn't even imagine how it must have felt.
"Did you guys feel that?"
Vincent looked at the ground, half with fear; half with surprise.
"No, no, no, no," Vincent began muttering under his breath. He quickly stood up and checked his pistol.
"Our father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name..." Vincent muttered as he readied his weapons. "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory. Forever and ever. Amen."
Vincent turned toward Jake when he finished the Lord's Prayer and pointed to the girl.
"Grab her and take her to the lobby. Tommy," Vincent turned to the other Hunter. "Me and you gotta go check out the streets. I'm not quite sure what that was, but I have an idea. And if I'm right, we're all f**ked."
After saying, this Vincent opened the door and checked the hallways. No movement.
"Alright, come on." As he said this, Vincent moved into the hallway with both DE's pointed in front as he moved down the hall.
