Elijha screamed out as she grabbed her head. "NO NO NO!!" she continued to scream. Shaking her head as she continued to scream. Panting heavily as she continued to scream. "NO. . . DANGER DEATH . . . PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!" she continued to scream. She tried to push away from Jake as she continued to scream. "So much death for one . . . so much sorrow . . . not who he appears t be," she said as she rested her head on his shoulder. "So much pain," she cried as she held him tightly.

Jake looked as Elijha started babbling on again like before, then returning back to being normal again, looking towards Vincent and Tommy, he said to them as he saw Vincent rush down to the lobby area.
"Understood"
Jake made his way to the lobby area, still holding Elijha in his arms, when he reached the Lobby, Jake took a seat after he put Elijiha on another seat next to him, looking towards Vincent, he said to him as he prepared his Revolver for any action they might be having.
"guess ill stay here and protect her. But what is it that is causing the disturbance? I'm not the best when it comes to sensing things"
He then turned his attention to Elijiha, he did not even know her name, with a nice tone, he said to her.
"So do you feel any better?, bu the way, my name is Jake, what is your name?"

Elijha looked up at Jake before she leaned down to rest her head on the edge of the chair. Closing her eyes as she yawned a bit. "Elijha," she said lightly. Nuzzling her head as she close her eyes. "Danger is coming, and it's in the form of a human," she said lightly. Yawning again before her eyes opened at the sound of her growing stomach. Shaking her head as she sighed a bit. Closing her eyes again to try and forget about being hungry. It wasn't long before she dozed off.

Vincent slid the hotel manager a small roll of bills (for the gun scene) and peered out the door to see an intensely deserted street.
"I'm not sure," Vincent sighed to Jake. "I've never actually seen one before. But, from what I read...and from what I felt...I think we just got a whole lot closer to the dead."
Vincent remembered reading back at the church about the Afterlife. About Halloween. About how the afterworld and this world would (on rare occasions) become bound to each other, allowing the world of the dead and this world to see and feel each other. For some reason, though, Vincent felt this wasn't just one of those "bindings" that would detach in a couple days. He felt like this world was permanently changed...and for the worse.

(One more round of posts, then we start the fun.)
"Thats bad..." Tommy wispered, looking outside. He looked up at Vincent and asked him a question.
"What is it that you felt? Im pretty sure of what I did, but I hope to God that I'm wrong, or crazy, or anything..." He said, sighing and looking out the window.

"I think...I don't know, it sounds crazy...but I think someone just opened up a portal between this world and the next. And if so...every dead soul...every demon...every supernatural being is going to be able to run free on Earth. And, since we felt it so vividly, they're all going to be popping out around here. Meaning we're going to have our hands full of undead." Vincent lit up a smoke and put it into his mouth.
"If I'm right, that explains why the Messengers sent us here. But, what I don't understand is, if they knew this was going to happen, why the h*ll didn't they warn us?"
Vincent shook his head angrily. The Messengers definitely knew something they didn't. And, if it was something life threatening, he didn't understand why the hadn't told them. His previous thoughts of a trap popped up. He knew it wasn't likely, but you could never be sure.

Jake felt a shiver go down his spine, there was no questioning it, something was seriously wrong in this town... and they were going to get into one hell of a fight, checking his revolver once more, he said to Vincent and Tommy as he looked to Elijiha again, who seemed to be fine.
"Well if something is going to be coming through to this side, then we need to say 'hi' to our unwelcome guests..."
Jake would be ready if anything would enter this world, and send them right back where they came from.

Elijha shifted a bit before her eyes shot open and she sat up. Looking around before she looked out the window. "It's coming, and it's not going to be like anything you faced before," she said a lot more lightly than before. She yawned slightly before resting her head on the arm of the chair. "Not all appears to be as it is," she said as she closed her eyes. "Danger comes in all forms, but one will not appear as the others," she said as she closed her eyes tightly.

Vincent turned to Elijah with an annoyed look. He didn't dislike the girl, but something about her "rantings" were beginning to put him on edge.
"Jake, find out what she's talking about, or at least keep her quiet. I can't focus with her talking like that!"
After saying this, Vincent turned to Tommy.
"Come on," Vincent whispered, "Let's go scout out the streets."
After saying this, Vincent pushed the door open (with his DE out first) and walked out onto the street, scanning left and right for targets.
When he realized there weren't any targets, Vincent waved Tommy out and began moving down the sidewalk to the right, peaking around into an alley to see if anyone was waiting there.

Tommy walked out of the room with Vincent, his hands in his pockets. He didnt want to attract attention to themselves, because as far as he could tell, things were still normal.
"You know, what she was saying in there. It made a bit of sense. "It's coming, and it's not going to be like anything you faced before." That sounds like something really big and bad is coming.
"Not all appears to be as it is." Sounds like something is going to be hidden. Even from us."
He continued walking alongs side Vincent when a noise erupted from the alley way they were just at. Looking back, they saw what appered to be a small portal. Out of it came Rots. Tone of them. At least 30 a minute.
Rots looked much like zombies. Corpses that were reanimated through evil power, taking on whatever they looked like when they were reanimated. And for some reason, evil entities liked to stockpile dead people, so most of these were quite rotten. They moved at a very slow, shambling pace, and were quite resistant. Tommy had blown one's head clean off a long time ago, and it kept coming. He had then blown it apart at the waist, and it sill kicked at him with its legs.
"Ah. Let the good time's role..." He muttered, and unzipped his sweater. The vampire markings were clear on his chest, and so where the guns that he pulled out from behind him. He took aim and fired, the three round bursts cutting down Rots quite easily. But still, they poured out of the portal.

"And here's where the sh!t hits the fan," Vincent sighed. Bang! Bang! Both of his pistols went off simultaneously. The bullets struck two rots (one in the head, the other in the arm) blowing both parts off. The rot (even headless) continued to advance however.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me," Vincent began muttering, as he backed away from the alley and fired at the rots at the same time.
Vincent was out in the middle of the street when he heard another rumble behind him. He turned around just in time to see more rots coming out of a new portal.
"Jesus, we're being swarmed!" Vincent shouted, reloading his DE's. "We gotta go and get the others. We aren't safe here any more!"
After saying this (and picking off another rot), Vincent ran back to the hotel.
"Alright, we're being overwhelmed by rots. We gotta get outta this hotel and find somewhere to gather our heads. Jake, you take Elijah, Tommy and I will give you as much cover as possible. It doesn't matter where you go, just keep moving!"
With Jake informed, Vincent ran back to the door, pressing his body up against the wall and peaking out just long enough to pop off a shot.

(As a note Eric, our guns dont run out of ammo. A small supernatural perk. If you ever played the game, you know where this stems from, as all the characters always had infinite ammo for their starting weapons.)

(It's cool Reaper. You will have a lot more to do a bit later. But for now, a noncombatant is going to be out of place. Now, waiting on Jeryen. Jeryen, find a semi safe place for us so we can regroup. I have plenty of ideas for us, but we need to stop and talk them out so I can get feedback from you guys.)
