(By the by, I don't care if you guys make sh!t happen. If you want a Russian battalion to cross our paths, by all means, do so. I have no set way I want this story to unfold.)
Jack lit up a smoke and then checked his watch.
"Eight minutes, huh?" Jack muttered. "Well, we better get a move on."
Jack turned to the others as he began walking into the sewers.
"Come on, let's hustle. Not much time." Jack let a small smile spread on his face, before turning back around (so he could see where he was going.
The first pipe they went through wasn't that long (5 meters maybe) and lead into another shaft where about four soldiers were patrolling.
"You going to the PD?" one soldier asked. Jack nodded. "Have fun with that." The soldier walked away from the group and went to talk to another patrolman (who, in turn, stared at Jack).
Jack stared at the two soldiers as he continued onwards, wondering what they knew. In the end, he just shrugged it off and turned to the group.
"So, I guess we better get to know each other, since I got the feeling we'll be on more missions together. If we last that long," Jack thought the last part to himself. He wondered how much Scott actually cared about their safety. He probably didn't give a flying rat's a$$ if they all died, as long as he got what he wanted. Something about Scott just seemed...wrong. He was a smart, tough, tactical person, but he seemed off. Not fit to be fighting in a Resistance.
"Anyways," Jack muttered, shaking the thoughts out of his head. "My name's Jack Hunter. Was in construction; then plumbing. Now this. I'm single and have no family besides an uncle and a brother, both of which I haven't seen for some time. Anyone else want to share anything about themselves?"

Matt nodded to the man as he took his M16. "No problem man, I understand, just make sure I get that back" Matt nodded, neither smiling nor frowning. He already had a sidearm, and a bit of ammo for it too. He walked towards a secluded pillar and stood idly, waiting for the operation to start up.
Now that he had time, Matt pulled out his combat knife and carefully used it to remove the larger pieces of glass. He winced every time he yanked one out, but the pain had gone away mostly, and the bleeding had stopped. He wiped his face gently with a cloth in his pocket, and sighed in relief.

"I'm Adelaide Levin, but everyone calls me 'Lai'. I'm a ballet dancer. My only family members alive are my three older brothers, but they were captured this morning." Lai took a final drag and crushed her cigarette underneath her heel.
It was shown in her eyes slightly that she was ready for what was going for her. If she could handle falling from the second story to the first and protect herself from anything coming at her even while climbing a fence. She just hoped that she would come across one of her brothers and save them rather than them saving her.

Jack nodded as everyone began sharing more about them.
"That's cool," Jack muttered every once in awhile. He didn't want to look to uninterested, but he was busy trying to figure out which manhole to come out of.
"Well, we're here," Jack muttered, looking up at the manhole. "Alright, I guess I'll go first; then you guys just follow me up. I'm guessing it won't be too hostile, but just in case, be ready."
Jack climbed the ladder and opened it slightly, pointing his pistol out of the opening to check the surroundings. Not seeing anyone, Jack got out and waved the others up.
"Close the covering when everyone's out," Jack shouted, heading down the alley way.
"You the Strike Team?"
Jack turned around to see a man sitting on a crate right behind him.
"Jesus, I didn't even see you!" Jack exclaimed. "You must be the scout."
The man nodded, taking a drink out of his flask.
"Name's Cassidy. I'll be your scout today."
Cassidy got up and waved for the team to follow him. Cassidy walked to the end of the alley and ducked out of sight. Just in front of them was the Police Department.
"Well, there it is," Cassidy sighed. "F**kin' commies are everywhere."
"Are you gonna tell us how to get in?" Jack asked when Cassidy didn't seem to be talking anymore.
Cassidy nodded slowly; then began speaking.
"OKay. The front is guarded by two MG nests, a sniper on either adjacent roof and one on the roof of the PD, a sniper in the fire escape to the side of the PD, and about twenty armed guards. There are three ways in. Through the front, through the side, and through the sewers.
Option 1: Go through the front. Bad thing is, it'll be a blood bath. Good thing, you'll have back up from the Resistance and, if you make it through, you'll be able to explore a lot more. The only thing is, you still won't have a lot of time before reinforcements come, and you'll have to leave.
Option 2: Go through the side. This will be the easiest, but you'll still be pretty exposed. And, once you get to the side door, there will be a sniper right above you and two guards guarding the door. The only thing is, this brings you in only a couple meters from the armory.
Option 3: Go through the sewers. This is the safest and it brings you right next to the prison cells. A couple of cons though. It'll bring you into the police dog room so, if they see you, they'll start barking, attracting guards. The guards might have killed them already, however, and then you wouldn't have to worry. The other con is the grating into the room is pretty small. A couple of you could fit in, but a lot of the guys probably won't make it. Like the soldier-boy here.
Cassidy sat back down and lit up a smoke.
"Or, if you want, you could have half go through the side, and the other half go into the sewers. It's your choice though, I'm just a scout." After saying this, Cassidy got up and walked down the alley. "Well, I'm heading back to the HQ. Good luck."
Jack watched Cassidy walk away. Jack scratched his head; then turned to the others.
"Well, I really don't care what we do. But I'm not charging the front. Personally, I say in through the sewers, but, like the guy said, I don't know if we'll all fit. What do you guys think?"
Jack leaned against the wall and lit up a smoke, waiting for the decision.

"Cassidys got a point,we shouldnt all go one way in case theres...complications.If we split into two groups, ill head toward the armory.Ive got the bag to carry the stuff and I also have the key in case the commies are using the old lock system. Most of the people outta head through the sewers,to minimlize casualties.Personally,Id hit the armory solo and have the others use the sewer option. But thats just me,and im used to being heavily outgunned, alone."He looked at the group and waited for the others ideas.

Matt listened as the plans were laid out, he really wasn't impressed with either situation. On one hand, it was quick movement to the side doors, but again, they were open and bound to take casualties. Front door was a complete no go, they'd need a good sized unit to even attempt to assault the front, not to mention the Soviets would have troops ready on the inside. They'd take so many casualties, they'd probably only add to the hostage list. And the sewers, there were plenty of people small enough to go through, but none were soldiers. Matt sighed aloud and looked closely at the building. "Yeah, and get yourself killed in the process" Matt replied to the cops idea. "We're not dealing with criminals with no idea how to use a gun, these are well trained, and well equipped Russian troops. You don't take on a Soviet stronghold alone, and expect to live."
Matt calmed himself down and crouched in a position to see the building. "The side door is our best bet for a small casualty attack. We send as many people through the sewers as can fit, and we make a quick attack on the side doors. If we hit the Russians from both locations, with the firefight outside distracting a portion of their forces, we can get the hostages out and maybe even grab some weapons, before they can organize a strategic defense." Matt pointed towards the buildings side door. "I admire your will to go alone officer, but dealing with trained Soviet troops and dealing with local criminals are completely different games. If it were up to me, we'd let the frontal attack go for a few minutes, then send a small strike team through the sewers and evacuate the hostages, while a larger force distracts the guards with a side assault, raiding the armory and maybe setting what we can't carry to blow. But, if anyone has better ideas.."
Matt looked out at the building. He could see the snipers moving on the roof, and barely make out the MG nests in the windows. He looked over his shoulder and saw a small post office with the entire front wall blown out, envelopes and packages scattered across the street. Thats when it hit him, that the United States just got invaded, and they were in for one heck of a fight.

"I take it most of us are for the splitting up option," Jack said, stamping out his gun. He looked at his watch, the gunfire was about to start.
"Okay, I'll go through the sewers. I've done a lot of plumbing and I can fit through tight places." He turned to Lai. "You're gonna come with me, got it? You probably the only other person that'll be able to fit. Matt and Donni, you guys run to the side entrance as soon as the guns start going off. Hopefully, the won't notice you. Once you're inside, get as many weapons as possible and get out. Lai and I will get all the hostages out."
Jack checked his gun; then turned to the guys. "Okay, good luck."
After saying this, Jack headed back to the sewers and dropped in; then headed off towards his objective.

Lai's eyes lit up. She would have the chance to save some of the people that protected her. Her brother Jack might be there joined by Jamie and Joe and a few of Lai's other friends though it was probably unlikely that they were all in the same place. The girl knew she would have no problems fitting in tight places. She danced and was underweight for a girl of only 5'0''. She would probably be able to fit in places better than Jack would, but she didn't know him well and she could be wrong.
She smiled at the others around her. "Good luck." she said before jumping after Jack and catching up with him.

As Jack began walking down the sewer lines, he heard gunfire erupting above him.
"Sh!t," Jack hissed. "We gotta get moving. It's started."
Jack quickly began running down the sewer line, checking back time to time to make sure Lai was still right behind him.
The run wasn't that long, just straight a couple feet; then turn to the left. He got under the grating into the Police Department and cursed silently to himself.
"Alright," Jack sighed turning to Lai. "I'll be able to fit, but it'll take me some time. You'll have to go first. I'll get the grate off; then you go up and make sure the area is clear. I'll come up after you. Just shout if somethings wrong, got it?"
Jack grabbed his pistol and handed it to her.
"I know you've got one, but just in case. It's easier to grab a new gun; then reload your old one."
After saying this, Jack pulled a crowbar off of his belt and walked up to the grating. It wasn't too high up (he could stand on his tip-toes to reach it) and, before long, the grating fell into the dark water below with a splash.
"Alright, I'll give you a boost," Jack sighed, getting down onto one knee (which was instantly soaked through). "Just step on my hands."

As the gunfire broke out,Donni motioned to Matt,"Alright, theres our cue, lets rock."With that he charged the side entrence, zig zagging left and right, and eventually made it to the side entrence.
The gaurds had surprised looks on their faces, and Donni took ruthless advantage. He blew one guys head off with his revolver, and grabbed the second, threatining him with the knife."Alright commie, tell me what locks are on the armory?"The russian immediatly responded, too scared to think of a lie."We only locked it with the stuff already in place, and everything outta be there."
Donni thanked the russian and slashed his throat,in such a way that it was quick and painless. He ducked into the police station, paused, and waited for MAtt to hurry up and get over there,Donni knew he had a job for him.

Matt followed quickly behind Donni, keeping his handgun firmly in his hand, he kept right behind Donni as he killed several guards, Matt kept his eyes focused on the building and the streets. Suddenly he was tackled from behind, his face hitting the pavement hard. He elbowed behind his head, feeling his elbow hit someones head, Matt rolled away and jumped up, and a young Russian soldier was staring right at him. The soldier pulled out a combat knife, and Matt immediately did the same. The soldier lunged at man and swung his knife, Matt used his elbow to hit the man in the face and grab his arm, straightening his arm and using his right hand to pull the mans elbow up as hard as he could, dislodging the joint, the man screamed in pain, and Matt spun him around, pulling his knife across the soldiers throat and jabbing him in the heart, silencing him immediately. Matt let the soldiers body crumble to the pavement, and he retrieved his handgun, sprinting towards the door, scanning both sides of the hallway for Russians. "Lets get to the armory." Matt nodded. "You find out where it is?"

"Heh,The armory is right here, and your not too bad with a knife, though when we get back,I have a few pointers. But ive got a little task for you.You know that the scout told us about that sniper above us right?Well I need you to silence him while im stuffing the bag full of weapons and ammo."Donni chuckled quietly.I'll end up feeling like Santa, with my bag of goodies.Except, the goodies are dangerous. So,preferablly, get behind the sniper and slit his throat."
"Here's a quick and tidy way of slitting throats from behind."Donni did a quick demo of the techinque on a nearby dead russian."Now take care ofthe sniper and meet me in the armory. If theres complications, get out,ill meet you back at HQ.Now get moving."
Donni stepped into the armory, after unlocking it with the key he had,and found it empty. He immediatly started stuffing as much weapons and ammo as he possibly could.Donni listened for any russians behind him and worked as quickly as possible, making sure he grabbed a police shotgun and shells for it,which he would claim as soon as he reached Scott and reported the stuff.

(Sorry i fell behind, I've been busy, i'll just assume im with the side team)
As the others split apart, Buddy and Riccardo stuck together, they followed the knife happy man and the others into the police department. Watching carefully for Russians, Buddy had spent alot of time in here with the work he's been doing, but now it was for the right reasons.
"Alright we're going to go search the area for anything usefull, if the sh*t hits the fan, dont wait up for us, we'll find our way back." The two crept away weapons drawn, moving slowly and silently. The searched room to room, avoiding two Russians that were running down the hall to front of the building where the gunfight was getting heated. The re-emerged from an office once the two had passed, and moved up a small staircase. There were more offices here, the windows were smashed and barricaded, a couple Russians shot out of them down at the resistance outside. But it was to dangerous to take action thus being spotted. They kept creeping around, looking for anything handy.

(That's cool. Glad to have you back.)
Jack slowly crawled through the grate, looking down the barrel of his pistol.
"I heard they're sending the Colonel Kuchler here."
Jack slowly lit the grate drop down as he spotted two Russians conversing.
"Nah, it can't be." The other soldier exclaimed. "Is it really that serious here?"
"I heard from Mikhail that an entire company was wiped out by a bunch of civilian soldiers. I guess we didn't do a good clean-up job."
"The Colonel is going to have all of our @sses for that! Wait, I think I heard something."
"s***," Jack muttered as the two soldiers began walking over to him. Just then, a soldier ran in.
"We need reinforcements at the front!"
"F**k, come on! Let's go check it out!"
Jack sighed as the two guards exited the room, giving Jack enough time to exit the sewers and get into hiding. All of a sudden, a terrible smell hit him.
"Jesus," Jack hissed; then saw the reason. A pile of dead dogs was lying in the corner of the room. "They must've shot them to shut them up."
Jack looked down at his watch.
"Three minutes, have to hurry."
Quickly running to the door, and checking down the hallways, Jack exited the room and began walking down the hall, looking for a rom marked "Prison".
