Jack took several steps back as she looked at the woman. The feeling alone from her gave off bad vibes. She clinched her fist as she looked the woman over. She didn't know where she had come from, but something about her just told Jack that she was bad news. It then dawned on her as she took another step back. "Your the one who summoned that creature," she said as she stood straight and glared at the woman. "What are you up to and what do you want?" she demanded to know.

"I would think it would be obvious by now who I was and what I plan on doing." The woman said with a smirk. "To be fair... My name is Cladia. Absorb it and remember it for the last moments of your life." The woman said as she let out a laugh. She chanted a few words, and the ground started to rumble. Again, the lizard that breathed fire. It looked over at Jack and reared its head back, the telltale sign that it was about to unleash a burst of flame.

Jack was taken by surprise, but she really didn't know why. "A fire breathing lizard really?" she asked no one in particular as she held her hands up. As the fire came it seemed to arch away from here like it had hit an invisible shield. She glared at the woman before turning back just in time to dodge it's tail as it came swiming around. The woman seemed to summon the creature with so much ease that it was almost scary. "With all those pentagrams around that place I thought your friends didn't take to kindly to people with powers," she said.
She raised her hand, and the ground began to shake. Instead of a giant wall forming around the creature like before the shaking moved to the buildings around them. As they begain to shake and trimble the sound of glass shattering, and walls being torn down. Several of the buildings around them had their walls ripped out as several iron rods were torn from the building and hurled at the creature. Jack took several steps back in order to keep herself going not to mention keep her distance from the creature. She also had to becareful, because without Mikey she could just as easly tire herself out, and she didn't have her over grown hero to come to the rescue this time.

With a flick of her wrist, it seemed like it took no effort at all for the woman to create a sheild of her own that encompassed the creature and herself. As soon as Jack's onslaught was over, the woman raised the shield and the creature started to advance, giving up on the prospect of trying to burn her and deciding it was hungry instead.

Jack cursed under her breath as she watched the creature moving toward her. She glared at the woman before looking around for something else, all this time secretly wishing she had not lost Mikey within this hell hold of a town. This woman seemed to just be taunting her. Like this power she weilded was no more than a mer toy for her. Bitting her lip she tightened her fist as the wind began to pick up once more. Her eyes shifting to an bright ocean blue. She began to pant slightly as the wind began to swirl around them like it had at the graveyard without the fact that Jack wasn't standing inside of it this time. As the rather forceful tornado began to turn around the woman and the creature it began to pick up all the iron rods and debre that laid around them.

Claudia, again in a gesture that was almost insulting in its simplicity, waved her hand and calmed the winds almost instantly. Debris fell from the air, all missing Claudia and her pet. The lizard that stood still in the storm again tried to advance for a close kill when it stopped in its tracks. It looked back to see what was preventing it from moving, and Jack caught a glimpse of it.
The pyramid monster that had saved her several times before was there, missing his sword and instead gripping the monster by its tail. The pyramid man jerked back, and the lizard slipped back, leaving claw marks in the asphalt as it went.

Jack looked at the creature a bit shocked, and then when she seen the creature with the pyramid for a head. She sighed with relief as she knew someone else was watching, but her eyes went back to the woman. Her ability to summon creature and dismiss her own powers made her feel a bit out of place. She was doing them with so much ease she couldn't understand it. Her eyes the glared at the woman as she straightened herself up just a bit. "So brave . . . so courageous . . . a whole town doomed to live in hell for the rest of their lives. All this because they fear what they do not understand, but you . . . you use this power like it was a second nature to you. Why didn't you suffer the same fate as my mother?"

Claudia growled in anger when she watched the monster distract her own pet, and then snapped a look at Jack when she spoke that could kill. "Those imbiciles knew nothing of it. They think I am the messanger of God in this place! She was the demon, and I exorcised her. You are about to suffer the same fate." Claudia said, turning her attention back to the pyramid monster. She raised her hand, pointed at the monster, and jerked it to the side. The pyramid monster was thrown from his feet by an unseen source, freeing the monster. It continued on its path toward Jack.
The pyraid monster tried to stand to stop the creature, but he was again thrown aside like nothing. Impending doom looked like it was coming.
A thump sounded out, one made by steel hitting flesh. Claudia stumbled foreward from the impact and turned to see what it was when another blow knocked her to the ground completely. Her pet turned to see who was assulting its master, and Jack had noticed it before the first blow came.
Mikey, who had seemed to appear from nowhere, stood over the woman with a peice of rebar in his hands, looking over at Jack to see if she was ok.

Jack let out a temporary sigh of relief when she seen it was Mikey. At least he managed to find his way here. She looked back toward the woman as she attempted to get up. "Stubborn," she mumbled under her breath. Out of the corner of her eye she managed to catch something, but as she turned she felt the impact in her chest. As the creatures tail struck her she was thrown back. Jack cried out as she hit the ground hard and slid to a stop. She laid on the ground gasping heavily a she looked tiredly at the creature. Raising her hand as the ground began to shake as a box once more surrounded the creature like it did to the others. Though unlike the other creature as she closed her hand into a fist what looked like several large spikes seemed to penetrate it, both outside and inside.

The battle seemed to be won. Claudia was on the ground again, the bar in Mikey's hands bent from the impact to her spine. The creature was surely dead. Their own ally, the pyramid creature, was on its feet like nothing had ever happened. It looked around, to the box with the lizard inside, and then at Claudia. It started on its path towards the woman on the ground, and when it was close enough to her, Mikey ran over to Jack.
"Jack, are you ok?" He asked her, already starting to try to pull her to her feet.

Jack leaned up against Mikey as he supported her. She was still trying to catch her breath, but was finding it quite hard to do so. Her chest was killing her, and she could even taste copper in her mouth . . . or more so her blood. She brought her hand up to her mouth, and wiped the edge away. Sure enough she was bleeding. Jack shook her head as she look at Claudia it seemed that her end was near, and probably worth what ever end that was coming. She turned back to the large box that seemed to be leaking blood. With a wave of her hand the box seemed to disappear into the earth again. Jack slumped against Mikey a bit more. She hung her head slightly as she gripped onto Mikey tightly. "Always coming to my rescue at the odd times," she said with a slight laugh.

"You wouldnt beliv..." Mikey started, and rephrased his words. "You're gonna love how it happened." He said, putting Jack's arm over his shoulder and helping her walk. "I'll tell you later. We dont wanna be around here." He said. He knew some pretty weird s*** about that crazy b*tch, and that it was a deathwish to stay around here for much longer. He knew better than most, now, that the beating he'd given her was just going to make her mad. She was something else entirely, worse than that f**ker Leonard.
They made their way down the street, into what he figured was a bar. Quite plain on the outside, they made their way up the stairs and saw that it was anything but on the inside. Even with the power out, it was clear that this was deffinately a place no one who wanted to keep up an appearance of being normal would go. A stage with a stripper pole in the middle, chairs and tables crammed to the max inside, a bar that ran the entire length of the south wall, unlit neon signs everywhere.
Mikey didnt bother looking around as he took Jack to one of the chairs and set her down, going back to bolt the door shut. It was a habit, he doubted if Claudia knew where they were it would stop her...
"We'll stay here for a bit, hide till your better. Hopefully we wont vanish into thin air on each other..." He said, walking back to the table and taking a seat opposite Jack.

Jack leaned forward on the table as soon as Mikey sat down. She brought her arms up and wrapped them over her head. Holding her breath for a few seconds she then slowly let it out realizing that it felt much better each time she did it. She continued her little breathing excesses a few more times before looking up at him. "So how exactly did you get there, and might I say just in the nick of time?" she asked with a tired smile. She moved her arms to rest on the table, and then placed her head on top of her arms. "An what else do you know about that woman?" she asked as she rested there.

“Sheesh… long story, some of it I’m not even sure happened.” Mikey said, reaching into his pants pocket and pulling out his pack of cigarettes. He drug the ashtray on the table toward him as she lit one and took a deep breath of the smoke.
“I was following you, like usual. I heard a noise behind us and I took a look. Wasn’t anything there, so I turned back and you were gone. I thought you’d turned a corner or something, but I must have ran around for three blocks looking for you. Couldn’t find you nowhere. I almost gave up when I turned the corner and saw that girl from the graveyard.” He said. “The clinic.” He corrected. He remembered that he had never told Jack about his encounter with her in the tomb at the graveyard.
“But, I saw her, and she started telling me all sorts of stuff about that crazy b*tch. She was a witch, just like you guys, I guess. But, bad. Evil. She’d been here long before the town was ever built, and she integrated into the society. She gathered up a bunch of them freaks, turned them onto her religion. Brainwashed them into something about a true god, how the one everyone else believed in was fake. She convinced them into thinking it was real with her magic, using it like miracles. Healing people, making the crops grow for them when a drought came along, crap like that.” He explained. He stopped for a moment and sighed.
“One of their members… Daliah. She got pregnant out of wedlock. The others shunned her, kicked her out of their little club. She gave birth to your… mother. Alyssa. She was always picked on, even beaten by the other kids. One day, when she was hiding in the bathroom, she was…” Mikey said, stopping for a moment to clear his throat. He didn’t like knowing these things. He’d have been a happier person if he didn’t know these things. Hadn’t seen them. “She didn’t tell me these things. She… f**king burned them into my head. I can still see them, see what happened.” He said, his hands shaking as he looked around the room. Jumpy over seemingly nothing.
“She was hiding, and the janitor came in to clean it. He saw her, knew who she was and how no one would believe her… and…” He said, stopping there. He was pretty sure Jack would get the message. He lowered his head and rested it in his hands. He looked exhausted, even after the rest he had gotten.

Jack looked up at Mikey a bit shocked in what he was telling her. Straighting up as best as she could she put on a more solem look. It appeared that this woman was some hundred or so years old, and was the one who condemned her mother to death. "I understand," she said lightly as she finally looked up at Mikey. She smiled tiredly as she nodded at him. "I'm glade you showed up when you did. If you hadn't I would have been lizard meat," she said with a dry laugh. Though after a moment she sighed. "My powers will never compete against her. She out does me by great amounts, and the more I use my powers the more I seem to learn them, but the after fact seems to take more of a tole," she explained. "I'm willing to help my mother, but . . ." she paused as she looked up at Mikey. "I'm not willing to sacrifice your life for it. Still without you many times this fight would have already been over, and for that I am grateful," she said lightly. Tracing the dents in the table she sighed. "What would you like to do?"
