Mickey ended up more frightened going out of the pawn shop than she thought she would be. Sure, she expected there to be a handful of zombies, but she didn't expect there to be so many. What she thought would be possibly a mere five zombies ended up to be about twenty. The shadows on the walls of the buildings and the narrowness of the alleyway made it seem that there were more than there actually was.
On her way to the dirt bike, Mickey didn't fire too many bullets, just two. If she would have fired with the few bullets she had left in her gun while running, she would probably miss some of the targets if not all of them. When the small group of three stopped running, it was safe enough for her to fire the bullets whenever they were needed. In the thirty seconds that it took Vic to replace his bike part, she only had to fire a single bullet each into the heads of two zombies. The others were too far away for her to worry about eliminating them.
"I got a place out on the outskirts, short ways off the a dirt path. You can expect about a forty-five minute drive or so...
Vic's words after the three fit onto the bike and started going kept echoing through her mind. This worried her a little. The last time she and Chelsea were on a bike, the trip was only about fifteen minutes with the detour they needed to take. Chelsea didn't seem to mind this too much. She was comfortably sandwiched inbetween Mickey and Vic so there wouldn't be anything to grab her and the bumps in the road would be softened.
The bike continued to travel at a fast enough speed to be able to dodge the zombies in the roads and whatever attempted to grab them, but to be safe for both her and Chelsea, Mickey held on somewhat tightly to Vic and hoped that the trip would be over soon.
-Vic, Mickey, and Chelsea have now left the pawn shop and went to the dirt path-
