Art knelt down beside Seth, and helped him patch up his wounds. She looked up just as the giant stepped out of the bus. "QUICK! MOVE!" she shouted as she stood up, but stopped. She remembered what happened last time she fought a creature like this. She stepped back slightly and knelt down beside Seth. "What do we do? My swords wont be able to stand any more damage, and that machete you had given me wont be able to do any damage against that thing," she said as she looked up at him.
She was a lousy shooter, and her best weapons were about shot. She didn't know of what help she could be in a situation like this. She really wasn't any help with the last one, she had gotten hurt pretty badly. Even now her own wounds screamed in pain, but she kept it to herself. She needed to focus on the fight, or the one that was about to start. She swallowed hard lost as to what to do.

Karl had finished reloading and hung back, avoiding taking any shots since everyone was so engulfed in the crowd and Quicksilver was invisible, hanging around somewhere. That made firing into the crowd a very unattractive target from a blue-on-blue stand point. He waited until the crowd suddenly started to disperse and wished that he had brought something else like a claymore or some explosives. Fragmentation grenades would probably be good against these things. Karl tried to figure out for a moment what the heck just happened as he stood back away from his cover, and figured it out right as the bus exploded and one of the stone guys came out. Karl immediately aimed at it and let loose with aimed accurate rapid shots, chipping away at it with his armor piercing tungsten-steel 5.56x45 69 grain high-velocity long range rounds. The bullets had been maximized for armor piercing, so Karl imagined he was doing some good regardless of not having the raw power of the G3 he had earlier. He said into his headset
We could try and use this airport vehicle as a bomb, if nothing else. I got flash bangs and guns.
His words were quick and crisp, snuck between shots in order to keep firing as best he could. He didn't mention his toolkit, which was about the only other thing he had... they were going to have to improvise since none of them seemed to have the real heavy stuff except for the brute firepower of Seth's .50 BMG sniper rifle.

"Ya, you better run!" Quicksilver thought in a triumphant way. He watched the hive minded creatures run away, thinking he'd scared them off, that they had finally gotten some sense after seeing the large number of their dead friends on the ground, taken down by one four people.
These thought were banished when he felt the shockwave, saw the back of the bus explode outward and the monster who caused the "explosion" jump out and look for a weapon. Quicksilver assumed this by the way he ripped the light pole from the ground. And promptly used it as a grossly oversized club, aimed right at Quicksilver.
"Oh you gotta be sh..." He started, cutting it off as he jumped in the air about ten feet. The pole sailed underneath him, harmless for the moment. He had to be careful. Something that big and powerful would tear him apart. As it was, he was running a but slower than usual, given the injuries he had suffered not long ago.
When he landed on his feet, he wasted no time in springing toward the creature with the pole. If he could get behind it, get on its back maybe, it wouldnt have a way to get to him there. At least, with it's current arms...

The bullets Karl fired managed to pierce the tough stone exterior but only three managed to go all the way through and spill it's blood. Though it didn't seem to phase it much it's movements slowed down after it was shot. By the time Quicksilver jumped into the air it was back to normal. Raising one hand it palmed Quicksilvers face stopping him in the air. With one swift move it threw him against a jet re-fueling station. Seth looked around him unsure of how to continue. He then looked at Karl.
"That sounds like a good idea." He said with a nod. Seth then spotted a vehicle about 25 yards away. "Art, go get the vehicle, we'll try to wear it down." He then looked back at Karl. "I remember last time when se shot its arm off it seemed to take energy and time to regenerate. Lets try aiming at a volneralbe spot like its elbows." Limping, Seth tried to make some distance between him and the creature. It instantly spotted him and raised the pole in theair before swinging it down. Seth jumped aside at the last moment as the pole hit the pavement beside him. The pole had now broken into two pieces and the creature was reaching for the grenade launcher strapped to its back.

Karl saw its movement towards reaching for a weapon strapped to its back and immediately reacted to Seth's very good idea. He started to chip away like an ice pick more rapidly at the Stone beasts elbows, ignoring its legs because he wanted it to be able to move closer to the vehicle to be used as a bomb, except he wanted it to be more if not completely harmless. Armless. He wanted it armless. That was a better term.
Karl kept chipping away as best he could at its elbows and arm, trying to stop it from pulling out what ever it was it was pulling out. He cringed mentally at every trigger pull, because he had lost count of how many rounds were left in his magazine

As soon as Seth gave her a task to complete she nodded slightly. Making sure he was okay enough to fend for himself. She took off across the open runway toward the vehicle in question. She just happened to look back as the stone giant swung the pole down at Seth. She looked on in fear knowing well enough there was nothing she could do to help him. Once the pole struck the ground, snapping in two she sighed with relief as she took several steps back. Once more she heard gun fire as Karl open fired on the creature. She sighed again as she pivoted on her foot and took off toward the vehicle.
Opening the door she climbed in and went for the key, but there were none. "Oh you have to be kidding me," she grumbled under her breath. You would think of all times when people were running for their lives that they wouldn't bother with keys of any kind. Shaking her head she reached up under the counsel, and pulled the panel off exposing the wires to the steering and engine system. "I hope TV doesn't lie," she said with a slight grin. Taking the red and green wires the cut them in half. Stripping them slightly she started touching the coppers parts together.
A spark came from them, and it almost sounded like the vehicle was trying to start. "Come on," she growled and after several attempts the vehicle started. She twisted the wires together, and shifted the vehicle into gear. Taking off down the strip she wanted to get close so that she knew exactly what to do. All she knew was to bring the supposed bomb to place. Once she was close to Seth she put the vehicle in park, and opened the door. "Alright, so what's the plan," she said as she looked up at the Stone giant.

His small body flung across the distance of the bus and the refueling station with no effort. For such a small and light person, he landed with quite an impact. After crashing through the refueling pumps and crashing into a wall, his motion stopped. Until he fell foreward, his indent in the wall enough to keep him there for a few moments.
Standing up and cracking his neck, he looked himself over for damage. A few broken bones here, one of which was sticking out of his arm, and he was pretty sure he was bleeding internally from somewhere.
"Boy, that would suck if I could feel it..." He said, thanking the late Dr. Ramsey for his lack of pain receptors. And for the fact that free running blood inside of his body wasnt going to do much. His bones, as broken as they were, were deffinitly going to inhibit his movment though.
Picking up the weapon he had been using, as amazed as he was it was in one peice or even here with him, he walked to where he could see the monster and squinted to see. That wasnt good. His vision was starting to blurry. After this, he needed a rest period badly.
Crouching down and prepareing to jump, he lifted off and was very surprised when he immediately started to fall after only a few feet. "Ok, jumping is out..." He said, silently hoping he wasnt too impaired to run. His pace quickened to an even run, something very slow for him, and he tried to think of how he was going to go about this. He saw the others whittleing away its armor, and in some spots it limbs, and decided to go along suit with them. Sheathing the sword in his hand, he reached back for him gun. It was all ready to go, and as soon as he got a hold of the handle he held down the trigger of the M4 Specter. If anything, he hoped the behemoth would see him and let the other wittle away at it's armor. His 9mm rounds wouldnt do much to solid rock, but if they could get it down, he could do quite some damage with a well placed slash or two.

The slashes that Quicksilver landed sliced the creatures joints causing it to faulter and drop its heavy grenade launcher to the floor. The stone man then snorted angerly as it leered at Quick Silver angerly. As time almost stood still, it raised its massive arms bringing its fists together. Rearing back it prepared to smash Quick Silvers scull in with a quick bash when a deafening -bang- rang out causing the creature to freeze. Suddenly, from no-where the creature had a three inch wide hole in its forehead as the barrel of Seths baretta smoked. He quickly put another round into the chamber. Before the creature could begin regenerating Seth called out.
"KARL! Keep shooting with everything you got!" As Karl continued to fire Seth delivered more volleys into its chest which didn't go clean through as the bullets were impacting his core area. With the barrage of bullets and being stunned from losing half of its head it began stumbling back. Just as both Seth and Karl ran out of ammo, the rock giants back hit the side of a large metal cargo container. He then looked fiercely at Art. "RAM HIM!" He barked out.

Art nodded slightly as she looked at the stone giant. She sighed a bit as she climbed back into the cab, and shut the door. She knew this was going to hurt, it was going to be like ramming a brick wall at a high rate of speed. She sighed again as she shifted the vehicle into gear, backing up a bit, before putting it in drive. She slammed down the gas peddle, and the truck slowly took off. Quickly picking up speed, before she new it she was going about 75-80 mph. She shifted the truck so she would hit it straight on with the center of the vehicle.
Bitting her lip as she seen the creature getting closer. Her foot still pressed firmly against the peddle and it against the floor. Soon enough there was the sickening sound of metal crunching and grinding as the front nose of the truck slammed into the stone giant pinning him against the cargo container. Though it seemed fairly unharmed, Art wasn't as lucky. Her whole chest slammed into the steering wheel as her head hit the front windshield. She didn't cry out mostly for the fact that her brain hadn't caught up. She laid on the steering wheel unmoving, but breathing very heavily. Blood seeping threw the cut on her for head, and her mouth. She was unconscious as she laid inside the truck.

"D@MNIT!" He cried out punching his fist into the pavement. "Why didn't you jump!?" With the refueling truck now pinning the creature, Seth watched as a puncture appeared in the large back tank as it began spilling jet fuel. If too much spilt, the explosion wouldn't be big enough to kill the giant. They had to get Art out of there fast. His eyes grew wide as he saw the monsters grip tighten on the metal hood. His eyes darted at Quicksilver. He was the fastest.
"Quick, get her and clear out of here!" He said waving his arm. He then looked at Karl's weapon. He had plenty of ammo but his weapon wasn't accurate enough to shoot the creature into submission without risking hitting Art or igniting the fuel. "Karl, hold you're fire until they're clear!" He said pointing at him. Slapping another clip into the rifle he lined up his shot from behind the scope. The first shot he lined up was on the creatures arm which now had come to life. With one pull of the trigger there was a burst of sand, dust and blood and soon the and was no-where to be seen. Next he targeted the elbow and fired, then the shoulder and fired, the chest, neck abs, anything to keep the creature concentrating on regenerating rather than moving. When he unloaded a full clip the creature was messed up but purple muscles started forming where he had shot the creature and it was starting to move.
"MOVE IT SILVER! WE DONT HAVE TIME!"

Karl grumbled something under his breath and pushed up, saying into his headset
I'm going closer to try something!
standing up and starting to sprint forward, slinging his UT-15 over his shoulder and onto his back as he drew his specialized pistol that the N.A.D.A.S lab boys had gotten him, and then got ready to fire it. He would throw the whole magazine of 15 rounds at em, armor piercing rounds, and hopefully that would do something. So far Karl believed that he had chosen his ammunition and weapons wisely so far. Karl magnetized his ammunition and then got within a reasonable distance but still out of the fight, aimed, and used one aimed round, then just kept spraying the rest of the magazine at the stone golem. The first bullet slammed into its chest, and then the following 14 rounds followed it with sub-MOA accuracy, practically one armor piercing 9x19 bullet on top of another. Karl then turned and ran back a bit farther hoping to pull a hit and run and then pull out his UT-15 and chip away at the golem again more close up and more accurately then from his back-a-ways safety spot. He wasn't sure though if the Golem had ignored him or not, or whether his pistol had done anything. It was his specialized pistols first serious field test....

Quicksilver ran to Art as soon as he had seen the truck crash and her not jump out. It took much longer than he and probably any of the others expected, but he got to her. After trying the door and seeing that it was jammed shut by the deformation, he hopped up to the step on the driver side and grabbed hold of Art. He tugged on her, only to find that she was wearing her seat belt.
Come to think of it, he was quite sure he'd be scraping her off of the container had she not been. But, it still posed a problem. He acted quickly, leaning his upper body into the cab and grabbed the seat belt with his mouth. His rather sharp teeth made fairly quick work of the tough material, and two bites later she was free. He pulled her out and fell backward, landing in a clump on the ground.
In a second he was on his feet and dragging her by the wrist to safety. When he reached what he assumed to be a safe distance, he yelled to Seth through the molotronic "Blow it the fu*k up!"

Seth grinned as he looked through the scope and aimed at the "Warning Flamable" sign on the vehicles tank. He squeezed off two rounds, the first piercing the shell the second causing the spark to cause the following explosion. A large flash came from the area followed by a sea of orange and red followed by a wave of smoke. The heat that was generated was overwhelming so much so that he began sweating. After watching the firey inferno for a few seconds the skeloten of the smoking car crashed down to the ground. The beast was no-where to be seen.
Seth looked around frantically and soon spotted Art and QuickSilver. "ART!" He cried out seeing that she was in pain. He instantly dropped his weapon and began to limp his way over. Art seemed to be completely out when he took her off QuickSilvers hand and laid her down on the ground. He brushed her hair and cleared some of the dirt from her face. He looked at the other two.
"These teams are keeping the rock giants sealed away in a heavily armed area in the back of these buses. From past experience we know that they controll the enemy drones. Now that we know where they hide we know there weakness. What we need to do is gather up some high explosives at the military outpost in the center of town. Once we have them we can go around the city and hit them where it hurts." He said confidently. He looked at the others. "How does that sound?"

Art moaned slightly as she shifted toward the warm body that she had grown accustomed to. Her body was wrecked with pain, but her mind was locked in darkness. The only thing that seemed to register to her was the warmth of the man she had been following along. The feeling that she had longed to feel. She missed it so much, and she had missed being in his arms. She coughed heavily, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth. She moaned again as she opened her eyes and looked around lazily.
She looked up at Seth and smiled weakly. "Was going to jump," she spoked with a raspy breath. She was finding it hard to breath with the pain in her chest. She reached up with a shaky hand before putting it against his arm. "What happens now?" she asked lightly before she tried to sit up, and stifled a cry as she stopped. She put her hand up to her chest and coughed heavily.

Seth looked around and breathed in heavily. He then laid Art on her back and placed his jacked under her head. "First lie still so I can patch you up." He said taking off his pack and opening it up. He then looked up at Quicksilver and Karl as he opened his medical kit. "We need those bombs. The element of suprise is our only shot. We cant go head to head with these things. So far NADAS has counted at least thirteen similar busses across the city. After cleaning up Art blood he began to wrap her in bandages.
We know what needs to be done. Now all we need is a clear path and a way to get there." He then looked at the other two. "Patch yourselves up if you need to. Karl, I need you to get us a vehicle that withstand alot of punishment. Once you find it grab as much ammunition as you can from the plane and load it up." He then looked at Quicksilver and pointed at the building across the street.
"That's the tallest building in the city. Climb up and see what would be the best way to get to the NADAS outpost. You'll be able to spot it, it's to the north and the NADAS shield has been painted on the roof. With your abilities I'm sure you can find it. Try to determine the best possible route where we will encounter the least ammount of resistance." He then looked back down at Art. "How you doing?"
