Character Type
Overall there are 4 different character types; Basic, Advanced, Monster and Superhuman.
Depending on the class of character you are creating, the amount of detail in your profile will vary.
Overall there are 4 different character types; Basic, Advanced, Monster and Superhuman.
Depending on the class of character you are creating, the amount of detail in your profile will vary.
Basic CharactersThese are works-in-progress, simple information down on paper, and for those looking to just jump right into role playing. This is only limited to Human Characters. The information given for Appearance, Personality, and History doesn’t have to be full of detail, just so long as it covers the questions asked above. One may choose to work on a Basic Character at their own pace even after being accepted, making changes to personality, adding more and more details over time. Though it is not a requirement, it will be limited to your first three characters, encouraging you to expand your writing.
"If you want to jump into role playing quickly."
Advanced CharactersThese characters go above and beyond the basics. Details are often expanded and elaborated, more content that is not asked in the questions. Solid, detailed paragraphs for Personality, Appearance, and History are important. This sets them apart from Basic Characters the most.
"For those who already have a good handle on details."
Monster Characters-
"STARS!"
Much like the Advanced Character, these should be written in the same detail. Generally, Monster Characters are based around the Resident Evil universe, with many different twists on the ones we already know about. Pay most attention to their Abilities and Weaknesses, making sure to balance them out as best you can. Maybe your monster uses its teeth to attack, but depending on what it eats could have consequences on its health. Think of them as a Boss in a videogames, they usually have a variety of abilities and attacks, which may also be their weakness. Fire and electricity are common weaknesses, but maybe your monster can’t handle loud noises, or back down when hit in the right area of their body. Plenty of room for imagination here. However please note that monsters cannot talk; at the most they can only say one or two words at a time. Example, Nemesis' penchant for shouting "STARS".
Superhuman Characters-
"Like Wesker, only less annoying."
This is where Human Characters and Monster Character come together as one. Keep both the Monster and Advanced Character Guidelines in mind when creating Superhumans. Don't forget the lore of Resident Evil is based around science, not fantasy. If the staff decide something is in too relation to fantasy the profile won't be approved.

Mario had only just finished smashing the block to scrambled eggs when Luigi walked in. Breakfast was ready. Both of them knew at some point some one was going to barge in say Bowser had kidnapped Princess Peach again, so they both relished the moment as much as possible. A brick suddenly smashed through the kitchen window landing perfectly in the center of the table they sat at; wrapped around it was a piece of paper. Mario picked up the brick and removed the message, unfolding it with uncertainty on the chubby plumber's face. Luigi peered to see over Mario's shoulder and asked what it read. Mario slowly looked at his green overalls brother and said "Your eggs are in another castle, MATE!"
