Information: A stretch of road the goes along the entire edge of the Lake. Generally a basic motorway for cars to enter and use to get to locations quickly, but on weekends is a rather peaceful place to drive down when witnessing the sun set. Not so peaceful when it’s a zombie apocalypse however.

[Cyrus and Vincent Enter]
Cyrus and his daughter had been walking for quite some time, following after Vincent the entire time. Abby was fast asleep in her father's arms as Cyrus had taken a look around, then suddenly stopped beside Vincent.
Ahead of them was a long, stretch of a road riddled with crashed cars and burning bodies. Some of those bodies were still shuffling amongst the perminately dead ones. Beside the beaten road was a large body and surprisingly a boat had been on shore only to have undead crawling and climbing over it.
"Look, there's our way out," Cyrus told Vincent.

It almost looked too easy, he had enough ammuniton to clear the infected from the boat, and the eye to make sure its done quickly aswell. He counted them, and then planned where he was going to shoot while he did. Moving closer to cover, Vincent unstrapped with rifle, and lay the barrel on a nearby bench, looking at the infected through the scope. Pulling back the bolt, he took out the single round from the gun, and replaced it with one from his pocket. There was a reason why he did this, and he only needed to do it once.
Vincent readied the weapon, and then took out his .44 Auto-Mag, handing it over to Cyrus. "Here dawg, ya gonna need this. Got eight caps in it, that should be enough if you drop n' chop. You ready for this? One." Aiming at the center of the small crowd that guarded the walkway to the boat, Vincent held his gun tightly, ready for recoil. "Two". He aimed carefully at the thickest point in the crowd, making sure to hit the center of mass. "Three!". Firing a single shot, there was a small explosion, blasting the dozen infected to the ground, some with smoking burn marks on there torso.
Looking up quickly at Cyrus, he could tell he nor his little girl expected that to happen. But as fast as he done it, Vincent began taking more shots with standard ammunition now. "Get the f*ck to the boat, playa!" His shots pierced through the bodies that got back up, sometimes even two or three of them at a time with one bullet. After clearing out enough, Vincent strapped his rifle on to his side, and ran for the Cyrus who was just getting on deck of the fishing boat. After pulling up the bridge, all they had to worry about was hot wiring it to start.

Cyrus made it on the boat, putting Abby down and ordering her to take cover benath a seat attatched to the deck floors of the boat. When she ahd did what she was told, Cyrus had readied to board their means of transportation when something had grabbed him from behind.
"Argh!" he yelled, sqirming to get free. He threw his head back, slamming it into his captor's head, forcing it to snap back and it's mouth to gargle with blood. Confused, it fell back, twitching on the ground.
Cyrus had turned around to see the incoming horde on the verge of walking the deck. Hurrying things, he hopped on the boat completely, reached over and slammed the axe's blade down on some rope, the waves pulling the boat away from shore. Cyrus watched as the zombies splashed into the water clumsily.
When the boat was a few inches away, Cyrus relaxed a bit. That is, until he saw one too many hands attatched to the boat sides. Looking over, there'd been a few of those damned undead holding onto it for dear life...
"The hell?"

Vincent as a number of the infected were grabbing at the boat, making it impossible for them to get away from the dock. Despite Cyrus' clever efforts to speed up the process, the zombies werent finished just yet. He knew that they needed to get the infected away from the boat, and there were too many of them to just take out without letting some on board with them.
As a few began to come aboard, Vincent dropped his equipment onto the boat, making himself more lighter on his feet. Climbing back onto the dock, he ran passed the group of infected, yelling for Cyrus to kick off. "Go go, I have an idea, kick off!" As each set up arms directed their attention toward Vincent, he saw Cyrus behind the mob pushing the boat as far away from shore as his own arms could get it, letting the water do the rest.
Vincent hurtled up onto the side of the dock, and then began sprinting quickly toward the end. Just before the arms could grab his legs, he leaped across the gap between the boat and the wood, flailing himself onto the bow, and holding on tightly with a piece of rope Cyrus had tossed to him moments after. "F*ck right off... Dont lemme go!"

Cyrus gripped the rope tightly, his hands burning from the slithering rope that Vincent was pulling on. He clenched his teeth and took a step abck, trying to hold onto him and possibly pull him up.
There was a sudden scream from his young daughter, grasping his attention. He shot a glance over his shoulder and saw his little girl crawling away from what looked like a large froglike, creature. It lashed it's long tongue out at the girl, wrapping around her legs.
As she flailed helplessly at the deck, trying to hold onto something, anything. Nearly letting go of the rope, Cyrus screamed out. "ABBY!"
He quickly grabbed ahold of the rope once more and felt his heart sink within his chest. He had to do something but what?! He cursed out and let go of the rope, swirving around and sending two of those handgun rounds into it's face, forcing it to release the girl but pounce toward him.
Cyrus rolled away and lifted his axe up when Vincent had climbed aboard as of now. Thankfully he hadn't fallen off the boat.

Vincent climbed to his feet, seeing the toad like creature begin to come after Cyrus, they had to get the boat moving or theyd be just sitting ducks out here in the water. Vincent leaped from the bow of the boat into the monsters back, sucker punching it where it had been shot by the .44 rounds. But the slimy skin was making it nearly impossible to hang onto its body, and he was quickly launched into onto deck.
Quickly looking at the creature make an odd noise toward him, he saw Cyrus bring the axe down on its back. While it was stunned, Vincent rolled onto his stomach, and jumped up to grab his sniper rifle. Switching out magazines, he pulled the slide back ready to fire, but saw Cyrus unload more rounds, killing the thing and kicking it overboard into the water. But as quickly as it left, another one jumped aboard on the stern, but Vincent was ready for it.
Before it could make a move, he fired an impact explosive round into its abdominal, watching the round blow a hole right through the beast. Seconds later, there was a victorious yell from Vincent, as he lowered the gun and watched the fiend fall backwards onto boat. "B*tch, please!" Vincent reloaded his sniper rifle with regular ammunition, and replaced the magazines in his suit. Hanging the gun from his shoulder, her moved up into the captains seat sitting low.
Pulling out a large butterfly knife, Vincent open up under the controls, and began rewiring some wires until there was a spark. Flicking on the throttle, he held the peddle with his right foot, ready to start it up at the right time. Hearing it spark a few times, it worked differently in a boat then in cars, so it took him a good minut or two to hotwire the motor. But once he did this, the boat began to drive forward slowely, and Vincent looked over his shoulder toward Cyrus and the little girl. "Hold on, iight? Were gonna be speeding up..." The boat drove at a fast speed through the water, deeper into Lake Michigan.

[Jake, Garfield, Joseph enter Lake Side Drive from "The Country"]
Jake slowed a bit once they entered the city limits, but he was still looking over his shoulder to see what was chasing him.
About 10 minutes later, he pulled into a small parking lot that was adjacent to a gas station. The station was boarded up and it looked like had been that way for a few months.
Jake could see in the gates that one of the bays was empty.
"Garfield. Go see if you can open the door. We can pull in there and sleep for the night. If they break the windows, at least we will hear it."

Joseph saw as Jake's care pulled into Chicago. "Well out of one city mess and soon to be in another," Joseph grumbled to himself looking out the back window to see if the thing was still following them.
Joseph watched as the car pulled into a gas station. "Hmm," he said to himself looking at the heavily boarded up gas station. Some one was busy during the the start of the infection. Well it was a good thing for them.
"Garfield. Go see if you can open the door. We can pull in there and sleep for the night. If they break the windows, at least we will hear it."
Joseph listened to Jake. "Good idea and while Garfeild does that see if there's any gas left I'll keep watch," Joseph told all the people in the car. "I wonder if the thing from before is still chasing us," he said opening his door with his gun pointed in case there was anything outside the door.

He pulled the latch and opened the door with his foot, He stood and quickly began walkin toward the gate to one of the bays, he looked left, right and begind him before gripping the bottom of it and tested if the weight of it. It was light, just like it looked. He lifted it easily and stepped back from the dark area, He clenched his fists and was reminded of the lethal weapons on his hands. With renewed confidence he stepped slowly inside the small garage looking area, it was clear.
He walked back over to the other's. "it's clear" he told them. "Once your done doing whatever pull it in, Im gonna set myslelf up, up their" he pointed up to the roof of the gas station, which could be reached if the person could climb the boards on the door and jump a short distance. He assured them it would only be for a short while, but he wanted to be sure that B.O.W wasn't still tracking them.

JOSEPH: "Good idea and while Garfield does that see if there's any gas left I'll keep watch. I wonder if the thing from before is still chasing us?”
“I hope not, because if we get into a shooting match here, it will just bring down hell onto all of us”, said Jake. He backed the HumVee up to the pumps and got out, taking his M4A1 with him. He was aware of Joseph stepping out to cover him and he quietly picked up the nozzle to the gas pump and put it into the gas tank opening. He was in luck as it was one of those older station where you didn’t have to pay first. He clicked the lever so that it would continue to fill without him keeping his hand on the pump and then turned to cover Garfield as he made his way to the garage door. It was tense as all eyes were looking for an obvious attack, but they were gratefully disappointed.
Jake heard Garfield call out to them. "It's clear. Once your done doing whatever pull it in, Im gonna set myself up, up there.
“Take one of my walkie talkies with you.” Jake said as he watched Garfield pointed up to the roof of the gas station. With his sniper rifle, he would have superior sight over his weapon. Jake nodded and then heard the pump click off. He turned and took it out and pulled it around to the back of the HumVee. It was carrying two extra gas containers so he filled them up as well. Then he returned the pump to its cradle and got back into the HumVee. He made to start pulling out to the street and then stopped. Putting it in reverse, he backed the HumVee into the bay. He shut off the truck and took out his M4A1 and went to the gate. He flicked on the light attachment and then glanced over at Joseph. “We’re clear now. Let’shut this gate and then we can search this place for anything useful.”
The night was now in full swing as the sun and all her effects had completely disappeared. It was chilly here in Chicago along the Great Lakes, but that helped Jake with his alien Virus. As long as he could keep his cool, they would be okay.
As the sounds died down, Jake became acutely aware of the faint moaning coming from uptown. It was being carried on the wind toward them. The undead were in the area, but Jake was unsure if they had targeted them yet. Only time would tell.
And then there was that damn BOW out there. Hopefully it was injured enough to make it immobile, but Jake didn’t know for certain.

“We’re clear now. Let’shut this gate and then we can search this place for anything useful.”
Joseph nodded at Jake's statement and followed him into the the bay. So far no signs of undead or the monster that was chasing us, he thought to himself. We should be safe enough for the night hopefully, he thought again.
Joseph sat in front of one of the the boarded up windows in station still holding his gun. He started to actually think about the thing they saw in the car. He sort of remembered it's appearance as animal like but he could have sworn it had no skin. What was it?
Joseph shook his head then he stood up and started looking around the gas station. The station was nothing much it looked like Any old gas station except with boarded up windows and doors. He walked over to Jake.
Joseph then heard moaning for a moment. Well that was expected. "So do you know what thing that was following us is?" he asked Jake.

He layed carefully on top of the noisy metal, attempting to crawl closer to the edge with minimal noise. He thought once again about the B.O.W. He remembered hearing about those ones back in mexico, an entire surivor settlement had been wiped out by what he assumed was a pack of them. Although he had never truly thought any B.O.W's were pack creatures. But it was truly a frightening creature, made to kill. He wondered how much luck human's would have had against such things if they had armor...
He heard a faint moaning in the distance, although he would never show it. The sound still chilled him to the bone. He felt isolated up there, on the dark roof which reminded him once again of his old shack. He mentally slapped himself, he had to focus on the road, it was a long shot the monster would actually use it but it would be around there, and he would be waiting.

"I'm not sure Joseph, but I heard about them in the military. They were rumors, but it's amazing how truthful rumors are. They were creatures who had the T-Virus injected into them. Some of Umbrella's nastier experiments. I think they took a few animal types and tried to see which ones would make the best weapons. Ironically, I heard that the BOW's usually killed the scientists that created them."
He paused for a moment and looked out the windows. So far nothing had come down the street after them, but it was a tense few minutes.
"Hard to put down", Jake mentioned almost to himself.
After a few more minutes of nothing, Jake decided to call it. Quietly he spoke into the walkie talkie.
"Garfield, come on down. There should be a hatch on the roof leading down to the garage. We will meet you there. We can search the building for anything that is useful and then eat."

"Monsters killing the creators sounds like a Frankenstein to me," Joseph said finally putting his gun away, "Hopefully though we won't have to fight whatever the B.O.W. was."
Joseph waited while Jake looked out the window and started to listen to the zombie moans. Nasty sounding things zombies are. To bad most of the U.S. are zombies. He also started to listen for anything that wasn't a moan because that was bad sign most of the time.
"I'll be right back," Joseph told Jake. Joseph started to walk back into the garage to see if there are any supplies in there.
Joseph started looking around one of the shelfs in the garage.
