((Moving On))
As Donnie led them back to the door, he looked over his shoulder and caught movement in the back. It wasn't fast or agile... that he would have caught. No, this was slow and shambling... and there was only one thing that moved like that... the undead.
"Everyone outside and to your vehicles. I've got this." Yelled Donnie, half out of reflex and half out of glee. He shoved the Reverend through the door and motioned for the others to follow. Then he shut the door and turned back to the undead. They were about 20 yards away, he estimated, and only numbered in the twenties. Where that would put the fear of God into a normal person, Donnie was about to put the fear of God into them. At this range, he wouldn't even need more than his rifle. He quickly shrugged it off his back and pulled it up into his arms. He charged the weapon and flicked the safety off.
"God says hello."
And then he was into killing mode. The laser dot lept from forehead to forehead and almost as quickly, a bullet rang out from his rifle, downing the first row in a matter of seconds. Then he swept back across the group from right to left, taking down the second row. Back and forth he swept his rifle, downing most of the undead with one bullet, while a handful required two. As the last one fell, he smiled with grim satisfaction, pressing the release for the mag and checking the ammo. It normally held 30 and when he examined it, he had one left. 29 rounds for 23 undead. Not bad, but he could get better.
As his replacement rounds were in his vehicle, he simply replaced the magazine with a fresh one and pushed the spent mag into his pocket. He charged the weapon again and then headed off down the corridor. Those undead must have come from somewhere and he was going to find them and wipe them from the face of this world.
"The Lord is my shephard, I shall not want...."

(Thank you,i guess the new posting order is you,me,reborn, then sun.If he doesn't come back within...3 days of Reborn's post then we'll just detour the search until his return)
Father Macavoy had bin thinking about his new "Congregation",two men who have probably lost their faith in God and have bin punished, and one to help bring them back to the right path.As the Father was about to speak on this he heard a noise behind him,but before he could turn around or protest he and the others were shoved out.It was obvious the daring boy thought he could take on a horde by himself, and god would protect him doing it until he needed help, which would be soon.David pulled at the door to no avail,it was locked from the inside,he had heard ghouls as he walked through but none surfaced. The faithless must have grabbed their attention, they needed to find a way in...they would have asked Donnie to open the door but he had run off.
"Foolish boy thinks he can take on satan's forces by himself!?!?He will need our help in purifying this Museum...Wade you come with me around the right side, there is an exit i left open that is relatively close...those ghouls may have come in from there or will be close to that point.Rodney you get on your bike and ride around the left there may be a closer entrance point, and be careful my son...the devil likes to hide in the shadows."
With that the father sped down the short steps and around the right side of the lengthy building,to see ghouls by the entrance he spoke...who were not there when he entered. There was about six in total,Father David lifted the barrel of his shotgun as he glided forward and fired at the closest one.The headless ghoul went down as some of the buckshot hit another's shoulder grabbing it's and the remaining to the Father. He cocked and fired again taking down another and another until they were at the destination and all were dispatched.David knelt among the heep's and said a little prayer, then stood and walked into the building.
"That was exciting to say the le..."
Before Father David could even get the word out of his mouth a ghoul appeared around the corner and lurched,in time he smacked it with the butt of his gun.He swung the shotgun around and took aim only to hear a click,in the excitement Father Macavoy had forgotten to reload and now the ghoul was starting to rise.
"Father in heaven i need you now"He said as another popped from the right corner...

((OOC - With no activity from the other two, Madman, we will just split off into our own little group.))
There was the distinct popping of a suppress weapon and the head’s on the two undead blew out on the side opposite the corner. Around the corner walked Donnie, the barrel still smoking from his shots. He was surprised to see the Father there. He aimed his weapon again and squeezed off another shot that down another zombie. Then he looked around at the six that the Father had put down and smiled.
“Well you are really different from the leader of our church back home. He wouldn’t raise a hand unless it was to grab another chicken leg from the bucket.” It was then that Donnie realized that the other two were not with the Father. “Where’s the other two?”, he asked, looking around. He used this time to consolidate mags, taking the one round out of the first mag and pressing it home in the second. So far, he had used up half of this mag. That left only one more 30 round mag for the rifle, but he had 4 more mags for his pistols, plus his backup weapon.
From up ahead, there came the moaning that Donnie knew was from the undead. When he first took on this crusade, it had filled him with fear, but given time and the Lord’s Holy Providence, it affected him about as much as a sneeze did. He calmly shifted his gaze to the corridor and popped on his laser targeter.
“How many more rounds do you have for that scattergun, Rev?”

(Very Well)
Father Macavoy gladly smiled as the ghoul in front of him went down.'Thank you lord for sending your other humble servants'.He opened his coat and grabbed the needed shells, loading one into the barrel as well, that left him with 24 shells left.He looked up and around him surprised not to see the def man there...
"They went on another route...i guess to start searching for the girl themselves,or to find another way into the museum."
The father walked slowly down the right side hall, his shotgun waist level in both hands. He then moved the weight to one hand as he checked his holstered .357,it was there...safe and ready to use. Then he checked his large holstered bowie knife,it too was there. He turned to address the young man.
"I have 26 shells left, and about 36 for my revolver...i'm sure i will be vigilante and silent enough from here to use my knife. It's good enough to take down a few scouts of the undead without making too much mess or a sound."
With that David completely un-buttoned his coat so his revolver and knife could be reached easily. Then he stopped as they got closer to the sounds of the ghouls,he motioned for Donnie to be quiet.then whispered...
"If you want to take the first one go ahead,we may be getting closer to a large horde. There is a courtyard at the center of this building, probably a lot of them there...survivors might have barricaded themselves in...god rest their souls."
Then the father moved forward un-sheathing his knife and jammed it into the spine of one of the three ghouls facing away from them.He hoped Donnie would get the other two just as silently....

Donnie nodded and slung his rifle over his back. Then he grabbed the sling and pulled on it, tightening it down until it was snug across his back. He didn’t want it bouncing around and letting off a shot into his arse. The he drew his katana out of his sheath, its blade gleaming in the light. He watched as Macavoy moved forward silently and jammed his knife into the spine of one of the ghouls. As the blade sunk home, Donnie moved up and whipped the blade of his katana though the neck of the first ghoul, feeling only the slightest resistance at the spinal cord, before the head fell from the ghoul and the body slumped to the ground. Without looking at the fallen body, Donnie brought his blade up and back around, severing the head of the third ghoul.
While the bodies were dead, the heads were still alive, snapping at him with rotten jaws. He brought the blade of his katana down quickly and speared the first one through the head, effectively killing it. Then he used the heel of his boot to smash the other one’s skull.
Looking up he saw that some of the others had turned in their direction. The group wasn’t huge… only about 10 or so, but he also knew that if they stayed in a corridor, their way could be cut off from both sides quite easily.
“Preacher man, let’s find some open space. This courtyard, we can lead them all to it and then dispose of them properly.”

Father Macavoy had also noticed the small group up ahead, then listened to Donnie's suggestion. It was a pretty good idea, but the father wanted a larger group on them before they ran into the courtyard.A machine gun would also come in handy once in the courtyard...if they searched a little more they might find one,but there was no use in waisting time or energy.David said a quick prayer before also dispatching the ghoul he had severed then backed up a few paces drawing his 8 inch .357.
"I agree, lets draw them into the courtyard...however before we get there we need to think about how we are going to approach it.There may be only one entrance, and there may already be ghouls in it."
The father reached into his coat for the map of the museum,he handed it to Donnie and pointed out the courtyard. Then turned and started a slow jog in that direction, revolver raised to his stomach.

"Good Call", said Donnie looking at the map. God protected him, but that didn't mean Donnie could be stupid. There were always consequences. He jogged after Father David, looking up every so often.
On the map, he saw that the courtyard in the middle of the museum and that there were actually three doors that led into the courtyard. He also saw that there was a little balcony that was on the 2nd floor above the courtyard with a small cafe area.
He had an idea until he rounded the last corner and came in view of the courtyard... it was already packed with undead... and most of the windows were already broken out.
As he skidded to a halt, he stuffed the map in his pocket and his hands were automatically reaching for his two machine pistols. As he brought them up, lasers activating as he squeezed his palm onto the grips, he prayed.
"Lord, help us."
The closest undead were already trying to push their way through the openings to get toward them. The metal railing that held the windows in place were not stopping the first row, who were too stupid to duck under it. Donnie watched with detached interest as the first row was pushed through the metal railing, the pressure from the back slicing them in half. A collective moan came up from the group. Donnie had to guess that there was probably more than fifty in this tightly packed area.
"There's a cafe balcony on the second story that overlooks this area. Get up there and draw their attention. I'll stay here and keep them from leaving the courtyard. Then I'll join you."
Already, Donnie was squeezing the triggers, sending two bullets through the skull of the first two zombies in the row, downing them... sending them to heaven or hell.

Donnie has said what the father would have said himself if he wasn't in such deep thought. The sight of the newly sliced in half ghouls surprised him a little as it wasn't something he'd seen before. As he raised his revolver to eye level he listened to Donnie's recommendation...it was a good one.
Father macavoy quickly lowered his weapon and ran back around a the corner going left this time up a flight of stairs only to find two ghouls there. He quickly raised and fired his revolver into the first closest to him, then the second down by the bar of the cafe. His revolver was a little loud but he would need to use his shotgun to get the horde's attention. He holstered his revolver and drew his shotgun, checking that there was a shell in the barrel already.
"Lord protect us in this time of worry, and bless these souls i am about to send into that other world."
With that the father aimed and fired into the crowd so that the scattered pellets would take down multiple at a time.He hoped that the pellets that hit but did not down the ghouls would turn them towards the gunfire. It seemed that the back half were turning towards him,he continued to tactically fire...then he recalled the small horde they brought with them.
"Watch your back son!"Macavoy yelled as a warning to Donnie,if the ghouls were approaching to quickly from behind the Macavoy could not see them from his vantage point.

(Shakku enters)
Sitting at the far end of the bar by the cafe in a shady area near most of the liquor bottles, Shakku notices a shroud of pellets hitting the surroundings of the bar, shortly after hearing a man no younger than twenty (since that's the only assumption he can make due to drinking and not thinking straight) yell "Watch your back son!" Shakku trying to sip the last few drops just hanging onto the end of the bottle suddenly hears a footstep followed by a slouching type drag across the floor boards; getting scared shakku's heart beats repetitively faster and faster pumping adrenaline into his heart then brain and off instinct he grabs his knife yelling "I am not afraid, i will kill fear"! turning around still sitting on the stool in the bar with his knife underhand swinging it up to the undead's side neck; the tip of the combat knife pushing a piece of the spinal cord in its neck out the other end and while shakku standing up with his knife still in its neck kicking its chest ripping a piece of its neck out.
Shakku, during his stunt getting the poor demon's blood on his forehead, wiping it off while murmuring "that.....felt good". He walks out the bar every foot step creaking on the hollow floorboards, as his schizophrenic side fades away while coming out of the bar looking to his side he see's a man who he believes to be a priest and a crowd of those thirsty man eaters gnawing their jaws ready to peel the flesh and bone off anything they can find. Seeing the priest and not knowing his name came hard for shakku to understand do to not having many companions when traveling, Shakku takes his knife putting it in his sheath on his left shoulder and raises his hands in the air as if surrendering out of fear of the priest holding the shotgun as if pointing towards shakku, his heart beats faster and faster pumping adrenaline to his heart and brain causing him to think about the chances of him getting hit and dying or moving out the way to avoid as much damage as he can. "Hey kind s-sir, h-hows about you lower your gun just in case you decide to leave the safety off" Shakku says with a smile on his colored sweaty face not actually knowing what he said.
Looking at the priest shakku asks "Have you seen a girl, around the age of 18? She's not related to me but while i was at a bar I had seen a teddy bear she was carrying with trails of blood leading me around" (While speaking Shakku thinks to himself saying It could be anyone's blood but what other leads does he have).

Donnie paused only a second to watch the priest disappear around the corner. He heard a few shots coming in that direction and then nothing. Turning back to the dead in front of him, he began to move to the left, away from the stairwell and toward the corner where the corridor followed along the outside of the courtyard. He didn’t even realize that he was shooting… he was in his killing zone. It was like watching from the sideline with a bit of detachment. His goal was simple; with most of the windows broken out he had a clear shot from any side. So slowly he started to walk, always aiming inward at the courtyard. In the back of his mind, he was mentally keeping track of his bullet count, subtracting with each trigger pull.
The effect was just what he had expected. The dumb creatures were intelligent enough to cut him off. The always moved toward were he was… not where he was going. The metal window frame would always stop them from getting into the corridors around the courtyard. He now reached the corner.
“Watch your back son!”
He heard Father David call over the blasts of the shotgun. In the center of the mob, zombies went down from the shots above. It drew the attention away from Donnie for a few seconds… long enough for him to turn and left loose with a barrage toward the mob that had been following him from the corridor. Downing the first row, he continued his walk down the second corridor, losing the 2nd group and then he turned his attention back toward the courtyard, firing again.
It was like a ghoulish game of follow the leader… Donnie would continue to walk around the outside of the corridor while the zombies struggled to keep up… not smart enough to cut him off. He reached the edge of the 2nd corner as the corridor mob had reached the 1st corner. He took that time to reload his nearly empty pistols, slapping in two more 30 round magazines and charging the weapons. Lasers scattered through the rapidly thinning mob, which even now was being devastated by Father David’s scattergun. As Donnie reached the 3rd corner, the courtyard mob was now less than a handful and the corridor mob was down to 6. Donnie continued his trek to the 4th corner which would lead him back to the stairs. He fired again and again, downing the rest of the corridor ghouls and the helped Father David finish off the courtyard ghouls. As the last one fell, he knelt down and said a prayer for the souls of the damned. He wondered when he met them in heaven if they would thank him.
He stopped at the bottom of the stairs, listening for any other movement. All he heard was voices coming from upstairs. Either Father David conversed out loud with God… and God answered or there was another person alive up there. Donnie took the stairs two at time, watching the bodies of the fallen on the stairs. As he cleared the stairs, he came out onto the landing that supported the café. There at the edge was Father David with his shotgun and a stranger who was talking with him. He jogged over to the group.
“That was fun and rewarding”, he said to Father David. Eyeing the man, he spoke. “And who are you?”

Father David stopped firing his shotgun into the crowd as the last ghoul went down.He had turned to look at the bar,and was surprised to to a boy standing there...how the father missed him is a mystery. At first he had his shotgun waist high at the boy,of course knowing it was empty. He asked the father to lower the weapon and he complied, though with no great hurry. He stood and studied the giddy boy and walked forward a little reloading his shotgun in the process,20 shells left.He stopped as Donnie came up the stairs, and heard the boy ask about some young girl.
"No,i can not say that we have...but we were helping another young man find his sister...they may be one in the same.My name is David Macavoy, you may call me Father Macavoy or Father...David will also do fine. This young man here is Donnie, your name however i don't think you mentioned. What is it?"
David had stopped a few feet away from the giddy boy and sat at one of the cafe tables and sat, placing his shotgun on the seat next to him out of the reach of the boy...who seemed un-armed except for the knife. The father grinned a large warm grin as he watched and waited for the boy to pull himself together and respond.Father David was no psychologist, but it was obvious the boy was disturbed if not just a little nervous.

Shakku with his hands raised sees the man of cloth slowly lowering his shotgun, and seconds later hearing something else coming up a set of stairs. At that moment shakku got scared but of course would never admit, nor act it and he slowly lowered his hands reaching for his combat knife, expecting a hostile only to see another man walk up the steps and say to the priest "well that was fun and rewarding". After hearing such words shakku dared to look upon the man with shame feeling no one should seek pleasure from killing but then two thoughts went into his head the first being he shouldn't judge others and he would be called a hypocrite because he has his moments of lust from time to time, The second thought being you can't kill what is already dead; Shakku adding to his thoughts saying "maybe me and this guy could go killing together".
Coming out of deep thought realizing he didn't hear anything someone would have said during that moment. Shakku looks at the priest hearing his reply: "No, I can not say that we have...but we were helping another young man find his sister...they may be one in the same. My name is David Macavoy, you may call me Father Macavoy or Father...David will also do fine. This young man here is Donnie, your name however I don't think you mentioned. What is it?"
Shakku looking around at where he was questioning himself how he got here and with all curiosity was ready to find out but remembered he had two questionable guests with him and the priest gave out a creepy grin just enough to frighten a newborn child and feeling in a playful mood shakku decided to give out a grin just creepy enough to scare a clown, he then stopped grinning and turned around going back down the steps to grab his green military duffel bag putting the strap around his left shoulder and grabbing his vertical shoulder holsters with two guns in them putting them on around his abdomen, and his m110 sass rifle putting its sling around his right shoulder.
After what seemed like ignoring the two kind people he came back up the stairs telling them “my name is shakku ex-rcpd officer, ex-USMC marksman specialist, group delta. Currently a freelance mercenary lookin for this girl, but I don’t mind traveling with others as long as your not umbrella, keep your gun holstered, and you keep your gun’s safety on” Shakku saying this sarcastically because in these times safety is almost never an option and with zeds your gun never stays holstered. “You next…Donnie” he say’s with a cool attitude. “Why don’t you tell me something good” Shakku then drops the cool act putting a friendly smile on his face.

Donnie shrugged. “I’m doing God’s Will. He has protected me in order to fulfill his orders. I’m helping rid this world of those soulless creatures and saving humanity.” As he talked, he pulled out his magazines and put them on the table, emptying out the half full mags and combining them. Since all his weapons took the same mags and same ammo, it didn’t really matter which ones he refilled. Looking over his weapons, he saw that he had one and a half mags for his tactical rifle and 1 magazine each for his two tactical pistols… and of course he had his backup that was sitting at a holster at the small of his back. In all, he had a little over 130 rounds of .45 ACP. If they were going to continue cleansing the museum, he’d need to go back to his truck and reload.
“So what’s this about a missing girl? Is it the same girl from the others we met downstairs, or a totally different girl?”
Donnie looked first at Davide and then over at Shakku. It wasn’t a typical name that Donnie had come across, but he knew that it was Arabic and meant grateful. Donnie guess that it was both ironic and suitable. The man was still alive. When the Father didn’t answer, he assumed that they hadn’t gotten that far into the conversation, so he turned his attention to Shakku. “When and where was the last time that you talked to this girl?”

Father David was not surprised at all to the change in the young man's attitude. He had seen a lot of people like him, schitzo perhaps...or bip-polar,could be anything but if he's survived this long and was rcpd he can't be that dangerous to living people.Macavoy stood gripping his shotgun and turned the barrel to his right shoulder,he walked forward a bit to Shakku extending his hand.
"The lord is building his army again in mysterious ways i see...tell me Shakku do you believe in god?I would assume from your name that you aren't exactly christian, but that could very easily change if we are going to work together."
The father grinned and walked slowly down the stairs not looking back to see if donnie and shakku were following,he had pretty much memorized the map so he knew the way back to his bus.
"We could keep looking around the building if you would like, the way we came would be pointless...the way you came would probably be pointless so the only way is up.The stairs are down the east corridor...after you shakku."The father said extending his arm down a dimly moonlit hallway.

Shakku hearing Donnie ask about his last time of contact with the girl replied with a look on his face that said, are you crazy??? "Hell I don't even know this girls name, she might'ev been bitten" shakku said looking at Donnie with a the slightest worry in the world. "Knowing that she could have been bit means talking to her is the least of my concerns" shakku say's starting to become infatuated by Donnie's and father David's survival and started to enjoy their company.
Soon father David sits his gun barrel near his shoulder and comes forth extending his hand to shakku saying "The lord is building his army again in mysterious ways i see...tell me Shakku do you believe in god? I would assume from your name that you aren't exactly christian, but that could very easily change if we are going to work together."
Shakku came forth grabbing the fathers hand firmly and brings it in closer for a slight hug, oddly getting a scent of the father to remember what he smells like. "I for one father believe there is a god, but I refuse to subject myself to some ridiculous ritual that people say is 'serving god', everyone has their own way to serve god and I refuse to give that up for sitting in a busted up church singing organic songs, and pretending to have a seizure while at risk of getting bit. A shorter version is im deist, but I for one like the way you serve god. You're actually helping people, or what was people" Shakku whispers then gives off a small grin and even a little giggle.
He then releases the father hand and sits on the floor with his legs crossed. "I guess it couldn't hurt if I was someones dog for another day, I've already been a dog for others why not a mini sadist and priest who both believe they are doing what god wants? Hell, I think the cause is good enough and god would want this sooo a dog it is, you lead, I follow, you give the order, it'll be done, just don't shoot me" Shakku says with a sarcastic tone then holds his head down slightly whispering with a sincere tone "and please don't die". Shakku then drops a tear from his eye remembering something but then forgetting it thinking its not important right now.
Shakku then looks up with a smile on his face, jumping from the floor board and eagerly grabbing his rifle, aiming down the poor lit hallway with it, not seeing anything shakku holsters the rifle back on his shoulder waiting for Donnie and David to continue down the hall with him.
