Sarah looked around before motioning her men to enter into the sewer pipe again. "We have plenty of food and weaponry refuels if your looking for it. Also as for the med unite it's a mobile unite like everything else. Were traveling threw city's with ultra high end equipment . . . mindfully over half stolen and salvaged," she added. "Were trying to pick up strays or those lost or trapped." She smiled for the first time since she met the trio. "Trying to play hero's if you want to say that." She turned so that they could see the pipe that lead to where they needed to go. "The sewer isn't the best place to keep your friend. She can get very ill down here, and it probably wouldn't hurt to get you two looked over. If you like we can take point and you follow," she said as she looked back to Joe and Thorton.

"Sounds like a plan." Thorton said in response to her idea of them taking point, standing up and reaching down to pick up Andreya. He lifted her gently and supported her with his left arm, keeping his right hand resting on the holster of his revolver. Stay in back and let the merc's take point. They had to be merc's for someone, if only themselves. Either way, he counted five. He had five rounds that would punch through their body armor and bones like paper, should it come to that. He wasn’t against shooting someone in the back, if they tried it first.
A few years ago, he wouldn’t have been this paranoid. Andreya had done it to him, he supposed. Not exactly her, but the lengths people went to get her. The person who stood out in his mind was the triple faced doctor. Five foot two, blonde, head doctor of the night shift. He had never pegged her for the cold assassin she was, even after she had revealed her doings and the fake intentions behind them. The best liar he had ever encountered...
He walked across the board connecting the platform to the pit, walking to the proper platform as carefully as he could. After all that, it would be quite a b*tch to just fall into the water. He walked by the huge corpse of Toad, noticing something. Noticing that he wasn’t a corpse. His chest heaved as he took breaths, in what looked like a deep slumber. Rule one. Dont leave the bad guy alive. They come back, no matter what. He reached to his back and pulled out his Glock, leveling it with the monster and firing several times. Four .357 SIG rounds left the barrel and embedded themselves in the creatures head. One of the men in the tunnel shot back to the opening when he heard the shots, but upon seeing the situation he eased his weapon down.
Thorton slipped the semi-automatic back into its holster and looked back to the Joe and Sarah. "Loose end." He said, more for Sarah's benefit than Joe's. He stopped at the entrance to the tunnel and let her go first and for Joe to catch up before he went.

"Forgive me, but I'd have to say that seemed a little unnecessary."
Joe walked with Thornton as the soldiers led the way.
"While he was our enemy, we did defeat him and strip him of his manpower, plus he was in no condition to attack us again for long after we had left anyway."

Sarah nodded as she turned back toward her men. "You wont have to worry about letting the girl go," she commented when she had noticed how tightly he held her, and kept his hand on his weapon. "There is a stairway up ahead that leads to the outside where we are holding position," she said as she motioned her men to turn at the corner. Each of them walked up a set of stairs to a door. The one in front opened it up, and they made their way out onto the street.
