“Ma’am, do you have any preference amongst the three choices? Or would you like further Intel before deciding?” The general said to her almost emotionally, as if she really could grasp what in the name he was talking of.
This military stuff was foreign to her, she was a scientist, and her job was simply to aid in recovering vital information regarding the effects of the virus. Though when talks of lickers and B.O.Ws was mentioned she knew that it had to be Squires unit she accompanied.
“General Strauss, as I’ve heard all I need to, I will accompany Squires unit, it seems as if there is vital information to be gathered, that is where I will find it. Especially with such high encounter rate involving B.O.W’s.” She said with finality, looking into the general’s eyes as she spoke.
“Though general, you will need to alert your men I am there strictly for scientific purposes, and do not plan on engaging in combat with any of the infected.” She said in a patient voice as her thoughts went to “Nor would I want to.”

(Sorry I didn't reply before, my computer was all screwy.)
Natasha glanced up at the officers, giving off a small fake smile. Perfect, this was a safe place and she could always do some recon. She glanced up at the two men, twirling her hair around her finger before speaking.
"Ah, oui! I wouldn't mind to say here, and I'll be checked. But I haven't come close to these zombies." She spoke, giving the officer on the right a small wink., while blowing a kiss to the other.
She looked at the two officers with a small smile. "So, I suppose I should give you these." She pulled out a pair of handguns, empty of course and anything she'd thing would be a weapon.

NICK PARKER
A national guardsmen comes sprinting towards Parker, stopping in front of him and abruptly starting to speak quickly
Detective, those boys over there are gathering up some volunteers to form a team and head down into the subway to help them set up a safe haven and get the subway running again. They need men, and they're willing to arm and armor 'em. They're saying they're going to broadcast from the city's radiostation and get the civilians to head to the haven they set up underground.... So far, the plans got unilateral backing from local, state, and national government... A bunch of national guardsmen are already being sent in to back them up. You want in?
The national guardsmen points over towards the cluster of vehicles that formed Task force pantheon's High-command, a mottly collection of civilians and police officers already starting to gather around a group of T.F.P military police who were handing out modified U.S military B.D.U's, tactical vests, M4A1's, ammunition, and modern-body armor/helmets. The rag-tag civilians being militarized were mostly Former military, former law enforcement, and a single guy who just knew how to handle a gun; although he'd been in some rifle speed-shooting events. All of them were volunteers. ------------------------------ YATES The general seemed to ignore her last comment as he turned around and growled at Tahrkelly, one description other then "Disciplanarian" or "Patton-istic" coming to mind; "Bulldog"
Hand her over to Blake. Get us another chopper for those civvies, it'll follow Blake's chopper in. Get Payne's men up front and mount them up on Blake's squadrons birds and they'll escort her to Squires' team. Once shes down there, Payne'll pull out and Squires will take over. Grant Yate's unofficial and temporary Odin branch status. The groundpounders'll all know what that means.
Then he turns and looks at Yates, not explaining that as being granted Odin status meant that she was non-combat and units that she is in the vicinity of have an obligation to detach an escort to or to bring with them... or just plain keep alive. Odin field agents were the T.F.P's intelligence gatherers, and normally had a Loki team escort; but ever since the budget cuts of 2010, they'd had to crunch the numbers and stop using the branch system and integrate Loki members with Thor members. With the T.F.P forces that had been taken away from the T.F.P to form a new unit in Hawaii returning and being reactivated as part of the T.F.P, the branch system was already starting to be implemented again.
Blakes is the best helicopter pilot we have, as my subordinates have told me. Ramirez, escort her out and to the local recruits and Payne's men.
Captain Ramirez replies quickly "Yessir" and leads Yates out as he was told to, the rag-tag group of local's gearing up coming into sight along with the high-tech-heavily-armed-elite-of-the-elite Vitharr Tyrant hunter killer/capture team making their way towards them. 4 small dots and a big one are seen in the distance, coming closer until it they become 4 AH-6J's little birds and a single CH-53E sea stallion. Ramirez barks out belatedly at one of the military policemen helping arm the recruits
GET THIS LADY SOME GEAR MP! T.F.P GEAR!
The MP turns away from the recruits and blinks, not having any T.F.P vests to hand out, just U.S military vests, and then slowly starting to semi-strip down to take off his T.F.P issued special multi-layered vest and hand it over to Yates, mentally making a note to get another one 5 minutes ago. Realizing that he was supposed to be handing over gear, not just his vest, he hands Yates his helmet and field jacket too, left only with his under-armor shirt for torso protection. One of the nearby M.P's made a quick call to their quartermaster for that M.P to get his squad mate some more gear to replace the gear he handed over to Yates. Unfortunately, Yates was still P.D.A'-less, meaning the helmet was the only thing that would plug her in and integrate her with the T.F.P battle.net/command structure. ---------------------------------- VANESSA CLARK The national guardsmen that had been holding Natasha back quickly and professionally checked her for signs of infection and then cleared her, allowing her to keep her firearms hesitantly; they seemed to think it could be potentially hazardous in the back of their mind, but they realized the order the state had sent down was to allow civilians to retain arms for self defense against the undead. They didn't ask why a French Executive had two handguns, more then just concealed carry she happened to have on her, or how she got them, and instead merely point her towards the refugee processing area they had to go first in order to get Rations and then the impromptu-cafeteria line that was working to throw together slop in order to keep the civilians their alive. The civilian refuges, although some of them armed, seemed rather docile; probably because they realized if they tried anything they'd get shot or kicked out into the Necropolis in a heart beat.

"I'm in," was his simple response to the guardsman. He stood up from the bench and made his way over to the group of the other military officers and soldiers, law enforcement officers and officials, and another man who didn't look as if he belonged in either party. Nicholas decided not to question him, though; now was not the time nor the place for that. Even as he was handed his own vest and rifle, he knew that they had a hell of a fight ahead of them. Clearing out the subway would be difficult, even with all of the arms and ammunition they had. He checked the clip in his rifle, making sure that it was loaded, and slammed it back into the chamber.
"How many do you think there are down there?" his question was directed to nobody in particular; anybody who had an answer for him was welcome to speak up.

Natasha smiled at the two men before entering into the refugee camp. After being admissioned into the camp and grabbing her rations, she decided to look around.
She glanced over seeing two men; one sitting while the other talked. Well, well. What's happening there? With a thought in mind Natasha walked over towards the two.
"Hello there gentlemen, what may be going on here?" Natasha asked the men, glancing at the two with a small smile.

Nicholas looked away from the guardsman and at the young woman who walked over to them. She was probably in her early twenties, with shoulder length reddish-brown hair, a somewhat petite figure - she was nearly as tall as he was - and had a pretty face. He gave her a small smile, before he answered her question.
"We're going to clear out he subway," he replied, strapping the rifle that he had been given around his shoulders, so that it hung by his side. He stood up from the bench and held his hand out to the young woman, and introduced himself to her.
"Nicholas Parker, ex-homicide detective."
He put the 'ex' in front of his actual job title, because he knew that he no longer belonged to the RCPD. Nobody, for that matter, belonged anywhere anymore. Ever since the city had become infected and overrun with the undead, every single un-infected human had been classified as nothing more than a survivor.
"Who are you?" he asked her.

"Rosalie Rouge, French Executive. Pleased to meet you." Natasha spoke, while shaking Nicholas’s hand. She glanced at his gun for a moment, but turned her attention back to Nicholas. ”Ex-Detective, I assume you are from Raccoon City, mai oui?” She asked, seeming quite interested. Natasha ran a hand through her hair, her hair beginning to itch slightly.
”The subway, hm? That sounds quite interesting, may I join?” She asked, giving off a small smile. It would be the perfect chance for her to do some recon. She made her way over to the bench to rest for a moment.

The national guardsmen glanced over at one of the T.F.P military policemen diligent enough to notice the the conversation, and taking the M.P's look as a sign of what the answer was, the guardsmen looked at her and shook his head
No Maam, I'm afraid you'll have to stay in this location until the subway's have been clear and we've been notified its clear for us to transfer our civilian refugees here to the planned residential zones in the subway. I do think you need to get in contact with your embassy, though. I think the French would like for their nationals to be evacuated as soon as possible, in my unprofessional opinion on the matter.
The national guardsmen, although a mere national guard staff sergeant, seemed to be able to handle himself well word-wise or intellectually.... Mere weekend warrior or not.

Natasha glanced over at the man, giving off a sigh. "I don't think that's possible, considering my company is basically destroyed, or at least that is what I've heard." She spoke to him with a small smile. "And, if memory serves there is a civilian on your team who has no military background, yet can handle a gun quite well." She gave off a smirk.
Natasha knew the officer would protest somehow, so she needed to think of a plan. "If you need proof I can handle a gun, let me show you then."

-Response to Vanessa Clark-
"It's nice to meet you, Miss Rouge," he said. "Yes. Before this whole damn outbreak, I was an RCPD Homicide Detective."
"If you'd like, I don't see why you couldn't. It's not like anybody can stop you."

-Response to thegunny-
Nicholas glanced up at the guardsman who had asked him if he wanted to come along with their party to the subway. He listened to Vanessa's response to him about her not being able to go along with them, and decided to speak on her behalf, as well.
"With all due respect, sir, I'm sure that by now, the French Embassy has been evacuated. After all, every single telecommuncation going out of Raccoon City is down. Before I came here, I wasn't able to find a single working telephone, radio, or computer.
"I think that if Miss Rouge wishes to come along with us, she has every right to. After all, we could use all the help we could get."

Natasha glanced at Nicholas and gave off a small nod of thanks. "I'm assuming you will need some help, so I might as well tag along." She spoke to the officer.
Natasha crossed one leg over the other, being very patient. She didn't really mind having to wait. Its not like there weren't going to be zombies roaming the streets.

((OOC: gunny gets next post, if he wants it.))
Nicholas nodded back towards Rosalie, before looking back up at the guardsmen.
"We really could use her," he said. "There aren't alot of others who are willing to volunteer, after all."

OOC: Sorry Vanessa, as much as we'd like for you to join in, your character has no IC reason why to join up and these guys don't have any reason to let you in; in fact, they've got reasons to evacuate you or question you
the T.F.P M.P shakes his head and makes it final
That man has a government HERE that needs him HERE, and has no where to go. Hes got a family to defend and a home to retake. You, your pretty much going on a joyride. You have no stake in this and have no one to protect here. Your government isn't here, and needs you out THERE back at your home. And I would question as to how you got your skill in firearms, cause its clear how he got his.
Even if we are not expected to evacuate you, we are expected to notify the French government of where you are, keep you where you are, and wait for the French to evacuate you from the hot-spot. Its the exact same thing we do with American nationals who are in foreign hot spots; we deploy S.E.A.L teams to get them home.
EVERYONE ELSE! LOCK AND LOAD! CHOPPERS ALMOST HERE!

Trying his best to retain his temper, Nicholas spoke up for Rosalie.
"Unless you haven't noticed it already, General," he said, able to keep his voice steady and calm. "There is nobody else coming to Raccoon to evacuate any, let alone only one of their own people. No matter how high of importance Miss Rouge is, the French wouldn't dare send in their own men to try to extract her, while they need them to help evacuate France, and especially since this city is overrun with mindless zombies who are out to kill every single citizen who resides here.
"I don't think that it's too much to ask to have this woman come along with us. If it would make you feel better, I'll make sure she's safe, so you don't have to worry about her."
He paused, and now had to shout over the noise of the helicopter blades directly overhead.
"If she stays back here, sir, she has just as much of a chance being killed as she would in the subway. No matter how sturdy your barricades are, they're bound to fail on us. We're basically outnumbered a thousand-to-one."

The military policemen hooks his thumb over at the helicopters
We're obligated to evacuate her if the French don't send for us. Their embassy in Hawaii will want her, considering their hardship and the worlds population getting older, they're going to want every one of their nationals all the more. We'd expect the same thing if it was an American citizen stuck in France. Shes more likely to die in the subway then up here. In response to your question recruit, theres a s**t load of zombies and B.O.W's down there. We've got armored vehicles here, helicopters, and air support, opposed to the subways.
She neither has the training of all of you, the background of any of you, or the motivation of any of you. She has NOTHING at stake here. Whats she going to do when lead starts flying? Unlike any of you, she HAS the option to back out, and she knows it. That man might not be former law enforcement or military, but hes got firearms training, rifle qualifications, hes physically fit, and he knows basic squad tactics from his paintball competitions. The subways are safe for no one until we clear them out, for now, this area is safer. For now, above ground IS safer because of the extensive air support that we have available.
