There are quite a few more mountains than Fuji in Japan. But like Fuji, they are quite safe. Not a lot of people are here, and that makes it idea for anyone who wants to go to a place where they aren’t likely to be bothered.

Jay looked around the path that her and Giddeon walked along. She smiled as he held her hand and she was able to lean up against him. For a short while she couldn't even come into contact with him, and it tore her apart. Yet now she realized that she couldn't bare to be without him. Seeing the waterfall up ahead Jay smiled as she let go of his hand and trotted a bit up the path. She reached the over look that looked down upon the water below them along with the waterfall. It was a beautiful site, and one she didn't see all to often. She smiled as she looked back at Giddeon as he made his way up the path. "I'm glade you suggested coming here," she said lightly as she turned back to lean on the railing.
Looking down at the large body of water that separated this mountain from the next. "This place is beautiful. I even enjoy the walk. Were alone with no one to bother us," she said as she looked up at him as he walked up beside her. "I bet this place would look amazing in the winter," she said as she looked up at the waterfall. "Oh and the temple at the top . . . wasn't is suppose to be some type of winter set shrine?" she asked and grinned when he nodded. "We should try coming back in the winter then too," she said as she turned around. Leaning against the railing as she looked over at him. "I'm enjoying being alone with you. We never really got much time for it, but now that we do your all mine," she said with a grin. Leaning over and kissing him gently on the cheek. "Want to hang around here for a bit or head on up the path?" she asked lightly.

Giddeon smiled putting his arm around her. Being here was like being a hundred pounds lighter. Though that may be leterally true since he was minus the armor and the hand cannon which the Hupozi was having put under repair. Not all things could be repaired though. With the past mission came some new injuries, one being a scar on his face. He didn't know what Jay thought but he thought it made him look tough. It was nice to be in his old cloths again. He was wearing a airy pair of yoga pants, a plain white t-shirt and an aviator jacket, the same one he stole from the helecopter he comendeered from the Umbrella facility he had escaped. To say they were entirely off duty wasn't entirely honest. He was wearing an underarmed holster with a D-Eagle in it and a snub-nosed revolver strapped to his ankle. After all they had been through he sure Jay was armed too. "You deserve every moment of this." He said to her as he felt her rest her weight on him. They had only been given one night to rest since they got here. They had spent that night apart dispite both their protest. For Jay it was testing, for him it was doctors. His body and muscles were still soar. He didn't want to say anything but the last climb had almost winded him. He wasn't sure how much of her viral strength Jay had left if any at all. Either way she had lots of energy. Feeling it radiate off her he laughed. "You know we're never going to get anywhere if you keep holding me like this." He said jokingly as he playfully put her in a headlock much like when they first became friends. He quickly released her and kissed her forehead. "The brochure said these hills have four shrines. One for every season." He then pointed to the next ridge. "Think we can make it up their before summer officially ends?" He asked. It was odd but enjoyable that in his right hand he held a pick-nick basket rather than a firearm. It was something he thought he could get used to. It was then that he felt a light wind which caused him to turn around. Raising his hand to shield his eyes from the sun he looked into the distance to spot some clouds. "Looks like we have some possible rain coming in. Seems isolated though. Either way if we don't want to get wet we should get moving." Taking Jays hand he moved to the next trail leading up the mountain. Looking all around him again he shuttered slightly. "I don't think I'll ever get used to this. I can't see the ocean." He then looked at her and smiled so that she wouldn't worry. "Maybe if he climb high enough we'll see it right?"

Jay looked at Giddeon and grinned. "Well if you want, tomorrow we can go to the ocean, or today if we have time. You can go swimming, and I can watch," she said lightly as they moved up the mountain. The faint trickle of rain caused her to look back as the trail behind them was becoming wet from the rain. "Your right the rain is coming," she said as the clouds continued to move their way. "Looks like we'll be holding up in the shrine until it stops, good thing you brought lunch," she said. It wasn't to much longer before the rain was over them causing them to run up the rest of the way. Jay made a note of the way Giddeon was moving realizing that he was still recovering. She trotted ahead of him, holding the door to the shrine open as he ran inside. She looked back as it started thundering and lightning outside and the ground around the shrine became soaked with water.
She moved inside ruffling her hair to get most of the water out of it. She smiled as she walked over to Giddeon and ran her hand threw his hair. "Well at least we can rest now. An the walk back down wont be as bad," she said as she walked up to the shrine of candles in the room. She looked around at the pictures on the walls, before taking a stick from the alter, lighting the end, and lighting another candle. "So where would you like to eat?" she asked as she looked out window. "On the small porch or right here?" She walked up to him, and wrapped her arms around him resting her head against his chest. "Or we could just sit back and relax until we're dry," she said lightly. "I'll leave the chose to you. I could hold you like this for ever and not even care what we do next."

Giddeon smiled now somewhat out of breath. His left shoulder was starting to get soar and though he hated to admit it he had to rest. Looking around the place was amazing. The majority of the frame had been cut out of stone while wood had been used to craft the smaller details. He saw Jay gesturing over to a stone deck facing the east decline of the mountain. The wooden overhang was well built and keeping away the rain. "Porch sounds nice." He said messing her hair up for her some more before heading over. Placing the basket down he began taking the food out.
"It's kinda strange eating something I didn't make myself." He commented taking out bowls and boxes. He then looked up at Jay, with her hair wet it was shimmering in the light. He then put on a suprised look. "Hold still, theres something on the back of your wrist." He slowly reached up as Jay became gullable and believed him. With one quick motion he gabber her arm and pulled her down into his lap an laughed along with her. "You can fight zombies and BOW's but when you get right down to it the small things still get to you." Wrapping his arms around her he rested his forehead on hers.
"I've missed you so much." He said with complete honesty. "I could barely sleep last night thinking about today. Those d@mn doctors wouldn't let me leave the bed." Edging over he slid to the edge so they could both rest their backs on the wall whille he held onto her. "Took a long time to get here." He said looking up at the sky. Wrapping one arm around her stomache and the other over her shoulder he kissed her on the neck. "You know you look really cute when your wet. Smell nice too."

Jay smiled as she looked at Giddeon. She kissed him gently on the cheek, before resting her head against his chest. She wrapped her arms tightly around him and let out a heavy sigh. "I've missed you so much," she said lightly. "Though I hate to say I had no problem sleeping last night," she said with a laugh. "Though it may be because they had to put me to sleep for some of their tests. Said I was stressing to much to get the proper readings. I argued that If I was by you I wouldn't be stressing to much, but they wouldn't let me come to you," she said with a heavy sigh. "I miss you so much, but now I'm with you and this is all I care about," she said with a laugh.
She looked over to the food and shook her head. "I'm hungry, but I don't want to move," she said with a laugh. "Yeah, tomorrow we'll have to take you to the ocean. That way you can get your sea legs back." She nuzzled her head against his chest as she pulled herself closer to him. Closing her eyes she listened to the beating of his heart. "Your heart beats fast," she said as she looked up at him. "It has a soothing tone to it. If I stay like this I could probably fall asleep in your arms. Your warm, and comfortable to have my arms around." She grinned before she nuzzled her head again before closing her head.

Giddeon couldn't help but laugh. "Don't you go and fall asleep on me now. If anyone should be sleeping it's me." He then looked over the mountain. "On the plus side the rain should keep away the other tourists for awhile. I know the Hupozi gave us special clearance to be here when the mountain is closed but I'm sure that doesn't stop some people." He then smirked. "Wouldn't have stopped us." He then rubbed Jay's shoulders and rocked with her a bit to keep her warm guessing she might get cold unlike himself.
"Don't want to move huh? Guess I'll just have to feed you." Though it was tricky he pulled the main course over. Some well prepared sushi from the chefs back at base. "Is it just me or does everyone seem to be pulling strings just so we can have a good time." Grabbing the chopsticks he shrugged. "Then again I'm not complaining." Picking up one of the pieces he moved it to her mouth and began to feed them both one after the other. "I love your dress by the way." He commented feeding her another piece. "You look just like a present on christmass morning.
Looking at the side railing he watched as the drops of rain pattered down. Still holding onto Jay he reached out his hand and began to gather some in his palm. "And no ocean. We'll stay away from the water for awhile. I want to make sure you don't have to face your fears during our vacation." With a crooked smile he returned his palm and poured the cold water on her shoulder and watched it run down her robe as he chuckled playfully. "Though I do hope to see you get wet again."

Jay smiled as she chewed the fish slowly savoring the taste. "It's funny," she said as she looked up at Giddeon. "I don't like the water, but I can eat the fish," she laughed slightly. Her body trembling slightly as she felt the cold water trickle down her shoulder. She wasn't one for the cold weather, and she quickly found that out on their trip to the arctic. That trip alone had started a lot of bad things, but now it was over an now she was in the arms of the man she loved. Though one thing she had quickly learned was that the silky cloth of a kimono was not very warm. Not to mention at one point in time she wouldn't have been caught dead in this time of outfit. Let alone with long hair. Though brown it was no more. Her hair over the past day had slowly lost it's color as it changed more to a silver color. She didn't mind it to much, as long as Giddeon didn't mind it. She looked up as a stream of lightning crossed the sky. Her eyes falling on the scar across his face, and her hand slowly reaching up to trace it lightly before allowing her hand to rest on his chin. She looked up at him, before pulling him down into a deep and passionate kiss. Parting slightly as she ran her hand threw his hair. "That scar makes you look cute, and tough at the same time," she said with a small laugh before looking away. "I'm just so sorry for causing it to you. After everything I have put you through. I'm glad though . . . glad that you have chosen to stay by my side. I don't know what I would do without you," she said as she looked back up at him.

Giddeon chuckled. He then fed her another piece of fish. "Probably starve." He then felt a slight shoulder jab from her elbow and he put on a suprised face. "Cheap shot." He then felt the scar again. "I like it. This way I take a part of you with me wherever I go....and it makes me look bad @ss." He said with another chuckled. It was then that he saw the sparkle in her eyes and felt himself melt a bit. Placing his finger under her chin he tilted her head up. "You are...so very beautiful." He then massaged her cheek with his thumb. "I've missed your touch for so long." He was sure that Jay could feel his heart beating faster. Leaning down he met his lips with her own. Closing his eyes he formed a tight seal between them. With a light smack they seperated for a moment. He was breathing hard now as he could feel his heart jumping. "I think my hearts trying to meet yours." He said with a smile. Leaning in he brushed her lips tilting his head to the side slightly. Before moving for a second continuous kiss he parted her lips and touched the tip of her tougne with his own. It was amazing to show his affection openly without the prying eyes of the concervitive members of the Hupozi hovering. He then broke the kiss not wanting to ruin the moment with such actions though it was hard to resist. "I bought something for you." He said reaching into the basket. Pushing Jay's fire-arm aside he picked up the gift and put it in her hand. "It's a flute made from bamboo. You left behind your own one back on base so I figured since your dressing authentic you might as well play authentic too." He then played with her silver hair twirling it in his fingers. "I loved hearing you play back when we first met. Always helped me sleep." He then looked up at the sky remembering how things once were. "How many years has it been. We were about 18? Right?" He smiled. "I remember when we first met. Raccoon city, underneath the science labs. You were covered in blood and dirt. You were so shy until you started talking about your weapons. I think the Jackhammer was the icebreaker if I recall." He then watched lightning cross the sky again. He let out a content sigh and looked down to Jay. "So, are you going to play something my silver-haired goddess of the summer shrine?"

Jay smiled and blushed slightly as she wrapped her arms around him. "Thank you so much," she said before moving away from him. "I've been longing to play for quite some time. With the healing of my lungs before, and then the arctic trip I haven't really had the chance to play. I missed the soothing feeling I got from playing, but . . ." she trailed off as she looked up at him with a small smile. "I found an even better feeling from you." She smiled as she brought the flute up looking at the small carvings all over the instrument. The bamboo flute was a different instrument from a regular flute, but the keys were almost the same.
Though it was just a matter of where to place her fingers over they wholes. She brought the mouth pice up to her lips and closed her eyes as she slowly blew out the F flate key. Her fingers soon moved over the scalle to warm up, and tune herself to the new instrument. Pulling the flute away from her lips she looked at Giddeon and smiled. "It's okay if you fall asleep. Then when I'm done playing I can just wrap up in your arms," she said lightly as she raised the flute to her lips again. She played a few more keys before getting the hang of the instrument.
She started off slowly with a soothing, and calming melody. Her fingers moving gracefully across the airwholes allowing the wind to change the tone of her instrument. She closed her eyes as she continued to play, feeling the wind blowing across them. She smiled lightly inside, but continued to play her instrament. Her mind wondering as it always had, but this time wondering to a future with the man she cared deeply about. An for her Age didn't matter a bit, because he loved her and she loved him more than anything else. She was just happy to be alone with him finally.

To his suprise, Giddeon was suprised to find himself drifting off. Despite this he fought to stay awake not wanting to fall asleep on Jay. Soon he felt his legs falling asleep and he got up and stretched as she continued to play. Heading over to the railing he rested his elbows on it. "Seems to be clearing up a bit." He then looked back. "We should wait for things to dry up a bit before we leave. If we slip on one of those steps it won't be pretty." He indicated. He then turned around resting his back on the railing. "How great would it be to camp here overnight?" He then looked at her. "Though you'ld probably freeze to death so we should probably head back down the mountain before the sun sets too far." He then smirked.
"So, what do you want to do while we wait. We could spar but your not dressed for it and I know I'd kick your @ss so thats out." Walking over he sat on his feet coming to eye level with Jay. "I could give you a nice massage in the candle room." He then leaned forward almost touching her nose with his own. "Or we could just lay around for a few hours. I'll leave the descision up to you."

Jay smiled as she laid the flute down and leaned forward pushing Giddeon to the ground. She propped herself up on her hands looking down at him with a grin. "I don't mind laying around. An as for camping we can do that. I'm sure if I hug you tight enough I'll stay warm. Just like you kept me warm in the Arctic when I fell in the water," she said with a grin. She braced herself on one arm as she brought her other hand up. She traced his cheek line before running her hand down his chest. "I've done so much to you, and yet here you are still loving me. I'm glade for that . . . I would be lost without you," she said as she laid herself down on top of him. She wrapped her arms around him so that she was gripping the shoulders of his bombers jacket. She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.
"This feels so nice to just be in your arms. I've always wondered what would happen if we were ever together, and not that I know . . . I never want to wake up if this is a dream," she said as she nuzzled her head against his chest. "Your body is so warm. I could just sleep like this for hours and not even realize how cold it is outside," she said with a laugh. She opened her eyes and looked up at him slightly. Brining up her legs a bit so that she was completely laying on him using his own body as a bed. She gripped his jacket tighter as she closed her eyes gain. "If you want to head back when it dries we can, or we can just sleep like this all night long," she said with a slight yawn.
