The Four Seasons is a rich hotel with ten floors to choose from. It also serves food at a restaurant in the lobby.

[Tim arrives at the Four Seasons Maronouchi hotel]
Tim felt a slight shiver as the airplane touched down on the landing strip of Tokyo's airport. It was drizzling outside, and the aged doctor watched on as a pleasant voice announced their arrival for the other passengers to listen to. He had been asleep sometime in the flight, wrapped with blankets that the stewardess handed to him a few hours ago. Tim Stretched the kinks from his arms and legs, but remained seated as the bell for the seat belt sign sounded off. Passengers stood up to remove their belongings from the cargo hold and waited in line for the doors to open. The people marched in a slow manner, obviously tired from the long flight. Soon enough only a few of the passengers are remaining. Tim stood up, took his cane and his leather bag, and put on his fedora. He shuffled slowly towards one of the exits, where a stewardess smiled and waved goodbye.
Inside the terminal he went through the regular procedures in the airport, which included showing his passport and other legal papers, exchanging currencies and getting a city map showing which areas are quarantined and which areas are safe. Afterwards he stood beside a conveyor belt, waiting for his bag to pass by. He spotted it and with the help of the other polite passengers, managed to get it out. He nodded his head and said thanks, then went out to where he could get a taxi.
A few minutes later one drove by and stopped in front of him. The driver, a chubby looking guy with a smile partially hidden beneath his beard, spoke to him with a strange language. Probably Japanese, the doctor thought. Since he can't speak Japanese, Tim could do nothing but point to an area on the map showing the location of a well known hotel, the Four Seasons Maronouchi. The man smiled then drove to the hotel. After paying the man Tim went inside and inquired about a room reserved for him. The receptionist gave him a key card for the room and with the help of the bellboy, managed to get his baggage to his room.
That being done, Tim took the elevator to the lobby, where a restaurant is open to serve the hotel's customers. He got a table and sat down on one of the plush seats, browsing their menu. A waitress went to him and spoke in Japanese, but then saw the look of confusion in Tim's eyes. She smiled, bowed, and apologized in English, to the relief of the doctor. He pointed to some of the items in the menu, which the girl translated and promptly went back to the counter to place his order.
Then he waits for his contact, a Mr. Russell Van Zandt, to arrive.
Three days earlier, a shady looking figure arrived in his office and made an offer too good to refuse. A few mercenaries were gathered for a mission in Tokyo, Japan.
"What mission?" "Classified. We were hoping that the contents of this bag will guarantee your silence." He slid a small, handheld leather pouch across the table. Tim saw the bag and his eyes grew round. Crocodile leather! But what's in it? He slowly opened it and thousands of dollars greeted him. "You can keep the bag too. Consider it a goodwill sign from our boss." He continued. "Your job will be to provide emergency medical care for the group we will send to Tokyo. We have a reservation for you in the Four Seasons Maronouchi hotel. Its lobby has a fancy restaurant, where you will wait for your commanding officer, Russell Van Zandt. The rest of the instructions will come from him." "ZzZz-- Wha..?" The contact did a face-palm. "We expect you to be in Tokyo three days from now." A mission in Tokyo and the boss gets an oldie to do the work. What was he thinking? It wasn't his decision to make though, and the boss claimed the doctor was good with his job. He'll just have to trust Tim, and hope that he doesn't crack his back.
[Tim is now in the Four Seasons Maronouchi hotel's lobby restaurant.]

Russell left the streets of Vegas to hide in a warehouse he had claimed his own. A few fellow mercenaries waiting for his order. Russell made a few phone calls and had a plane waiting for him at a small airport just outside of town. He loaded up his men and left for the airport. His vehicle kept suspicion to a minimum since it was a typical military convoy truck.
At the airport a smaller personal jet sat waiting. Russell sat down in a seat where a monitor was place in front of him. It came to life and a man appeared on the screen. "How do you like my plane? I heard you were in the need of a plane and offered my personal jet. I would like to discuss business with you. An item of mine has come into the hands of a group of criminals who reside in Tokyo's sewer system. I would rather see it destroyed. They also control something that is dangerous to the civilian population still residing in Tokyo. Kill everyone involved and destroy the Bio-Organic Weapon they control and the Tyrant they have come into possession of. Half of your payment has just been wired into your off shores account. You will be meeting with a doctor who will be working alongside you to ensure all medical well being." The screen turned off the moment he had stopped talking and the plane took off.
Landing in Japan was as smooth as the rest of the trip had been. A military truck pulled up to the jet and Russell and his men loaded up in the back, lowering the back cover to hide them from plain sight. Soon enough the truck stopped and Russell stepped out to meet with the doctor. His mask immediately sending people near by into a small panic.

A faint scent filled the air and Tim felt his hunger clawing at him. The waitress from before returned with his order of tuna, steamed fugu, seaweed and century eggs. Not nearly a feast, but enough to satisfy his hunger. He took his chopsticks and began picking a little of the food before him, tasting each one to determine if he should order them again another time -- provided he survive whatever mission the mercenaries will perform.
The waitress returned again, this time with a cup of tea, a porcelain teapot and a glass of water, which she began putting on the table. Tim noticed her moving slowly, which prompted the doctor to look at her. She was staring at something, or someone, through the window. He looked outside and saw a person in a mask approaching the restaurant. Tim smiled a little. Ooooh, a cos-play! Even in grave times like this, the people of Japan still go through these kinds of events. Canada could stand to learn from her!
The waitress came back a third time and gave him the bill he asked for, which Tim paid immediately. Then he leaned backwards in his comfy chair, sipping tea while waiting for the mission leader to arrive.

Russell pushed through the front door and headed into the hotel. All who passed knew something was going on. A large man in a military get up wearing a mask over his mouth and nose. Some panicked and sprinted away from him others huddled together in a corner. They knew people like him only showed up when something bad was going on. He assumed that some thought an airborne virus was on the loose. He was told the elderly doctor would be meeting him in the restaurant near the main lobby.
He went into the restaurant, ignoring the protests which he did not understand, and sat at a table an old man was already sitting at in a calm manner unlike all of the other people who were in a state of panic. He simply eyed the old man up before he spoke.
"Why did he hire such an old man for such a dangerous job? This makes no sense to me but you must be the best at something, no?" Russell questioned in his deep, slightly altered voice.

The look of childish glee disappeared from Tim's face as he realized that this was the commanding officer the shady guy told him about. At the man's inquiry, Tim shrugged. Apparently he's just as confused as this guy was.
"No, I'm just an old doctor son -- I mean sir,"the doctor paused, realizing that this person was the leader of the mercenary group. "Maybe I was the only one willing to take the job. I take it you've seen their offer, yes?"

The old man corrected himself. Son, sir, it didn't matter so long as the guy who said it is truly old enough to be his father. He also knew that people involved were making way too much money for their own good.
"Maybe we were both stupid and blinded enough by the cash to take the offer. And yes I have seen the offer. Something doesn't sit right with me." He explained to the doctor. "Did they even tell you what is going on?"
An expendable doctor nearing the end of his life in the apocalyptic world and a mercenary with a lung problem. Two easily disposed of loose threads if something went against the man who hired the two for the job. He knew when things looked too good it was because they were.

Stupid? Certainly not. Greedy might be the proper term for it. With much of the world being claimed by the zombie disease, not many people can go to doctors for check-ups, much less treatment. Entire cities are overrun with the infected. Most of them invest in firearms and not medicine. With little or no pay, he can’t even acquire a decent firearm. He only had that crappy hunting rifle, a pistol and a box of ammunition – weapons that he forgot to bring with him. A good thing too, since the airport would probably not allow such things inside the plane.
“Eh? I mean no, not a word sir. They told me that it was.. Er.. Classical, I think that’s the word he used.” Tim had been having some trouble remembering things. Old age has that effect on people. He stared at the brown liquid inside his cup, turning it around slowly as if trying to recall what the contact told him. "Classical, yes, must be a rescue mission."
Tim shivered and drank some more tea. This awful weather shows no sign of becoming a little bearable.

"First off, stop with the 'sir' crap. If you want to call me something, call me Van Zandt. And it is 'classified' not 'classical' which means they told you nothing so you wouldn't run scared." Russell explained to the old man. He was ready to leave whenever Tim was. He figured the doctor had only just sat down to eat but they were on a tight schedule so he decided to fill the man in as he ate.
"Do you know what a Bio-Organic Weapon is? Well it is a big word for a creature built to kill. Well we have to kill one controlled by a bunch of people who would like to kill people as well. We have to kill them too. I have a feeling that something bigger is happening here and I don't see where you fit in. If you know something I don't, tell me now." Russell explained before questioning the doctor's knowledge.

“Of course, Mr. Van Zandt.” What a snotty fellow, too uptight for his own good. He doesn’t even realize that when he grows old he’ll have all the time he needs to do all the things he loves. Maybe mercenary types are just like that. Their jobs put them in hazardous situations every single time they perform it.
”And yes, I know what a bio-organic weapon is. They develop a virus to mutate creatures like that, and they also develop antivirus to put it down. It used to be my work as a medical researcher.” The doctor sipped some more tea before he continued. ”And the only thing the contact told me is that I was to provide medical care, not traipse around the mission area slaughtering horrible creatures. Knowing and killing the thing is your job. Mine is to save your hides.” The more he talked with the man, the more he disliked him. Oh well, one can't choose whom he works with, and he doesn't need to like the guy. He just needs him to do his job properly.

"Not we as in me and you, we as in my men and I." Russell scoffed at the old man. This doctor was going to slow him down long before he even left this place.
"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you don't even have a gun. Well it is time to leave so let's go." He said as he got up and headed for the truck.

Tim decided not to say anything. He followed the man to the military truck, where the rest of his team is gathered. He stared at them, all geared up and ready for combat. The doctor shook his head; most of these young men probably aren’t going back to their homes.
He could see the look of confusion in some of the faces, as well as the sneers in the rest. It's perfectly understandable. Who would trust a 63 year old doctor to keep up with them? Would he be a liability and compromise the mission? Tim decided not to let their subtle jeers affect him.
He grunted as he helped himself up the truck, politely refusing a hand offered by one of the men. He doesn’t want them to think that he is just another burden to them. Tim can run, maybe not very fast but he can pull his weight if he has to. He can shoot as well, but he only had experience in hunting rifles and pistols. Machine guns, shotguns and the like are all foreign to him.
Tim sat down on a seat between two mercenaries. Like their leader, their faces are void of any emotion. He did a quick scan inside the truck, but didn’t find what he was looking for. “Commander,” The doctor called out loudly for Russell to hear. “Where are your medical supplies?”

A chorus of laughter came from the dozen mercenaries. "You've never performed field surgery, huh? Well lemme explain. If Johnny here gets shot." He pointed to a young mercenary near him. "You grab his pliers out of his vest and remove the bullet, then you use the needle and thread to close him up so he can get to a 'hospital.'" He made air quotes with his fingers as he said hospital. "Where another doctor can give him jello and painkillers." He laughed as he explained this.
He continued talking as the truck rolled down the street. "Some of the best surgeons come from the field. Saving solders' lives while dodging bullets. It is time you earned your wings."
[Russell and Tim are now in the Tokyo Sewer System.]
