Lexi stepped closer to Jonathan. He swallowed hard, unsure of what was happening next. Then she raised her weapon. His body didnt know how to react. What was she doing? Was she going to attack him? Was she simply removing it? Jonathan's mind ran in several different directions at once. But it was pulled back home when one of the stores intercoms crackled to life.
"To those still in the Mall, Do not I repeat DO NOT enter the Food Court, do not remove the barricades surrounding it either. Find a safe location and dig in, the main lobby is littered with dead Union soldiers, weapons can be found there. If you have a radio contact me on Frequency Six-Six-Seven-Two-Niner. Otherwise talk to any intercom and I will receive you. Good Luck and safe hunting."
As the intercom went silent something crashed from in front of the store. Jon linked up with S.C.A.R. to see what was happening. He was being attacked and thats all he needed to know. Jonathan unslung his AK and looked at Lexi. "Looks like something got out of the food court." Jonathan took off toward the front of the store. S.C.A.R. came into view, the large beast took hold of one of its attackers.
The thing it took hold of was an extremely long tongue. S.C.A.R. pulled his attacker down from the ceiling and used it like a flail to knock back several other normal infected. When he was done he smashed the licker against the wall and it burst painting the blocks like bloody graffiti. He then began using the spine attached to his arm to slice any infected that got near him into multiple pieces. Another licker roared from the ceiling just before pouncing like an over grown mutated cat at its target. S.C.A.R. responded with its own roar, one that sounded human, animal, and something more sinister all at the same time. A sound was deep, but rolled like thunder throughout the mall. Just as the licker was in range the black behemoth caught it out of the air with both hands, it then preceded to pull in opposite directions. The licker howled in pain, and a moment later S.C.A.R. pulled it apart like wet cardboard, it laid on the floor in two halves blood pouring from its ragged, blunt wounds.
Jonathan went to his knee and began firing into the crowd of zombies. He let out an evil laugh as he sent 4 or 5 back to their graves. "Lexi were gunna need to get out of here. Got any where else you'd like to go on vacation?" He spoke in a tone that was over the gunfire, and moans. Yet it remained eerily calm for the growing chaos going on in the mall. He fired a few more shots waiting for the blonde beauty to reply.

Lexi stumbled backwards as the drama unfolded, S.C.A.R pulling a huge tongue in his direction. She knew what it was instantly, she'd seen the lab when they were all strapped up. Lickers. Infected Mutants, with the ability to kill you instantly, if they got hold of you of course. Exchanging glances with Jonathan, Lexi fired a few bullets from her MP5K, thank god for a silencer, she couldn't be doing with a giant hoarde too, though they probably weren't far away.
As the zombies stumbled and fell the ground, Lexi grabbed Jonathans arms and yanked him into the nearest store, strewn out tables over the floor provided temporary cover as they watched the Licker x Tyrant fight. S.C.A.R was great, he ripped the licker in two as it howled in pain. Lexi was in no position to be trusting anyone, but she felt a strange trust to the new pair that had rescued her, she felt like she owed them.
"I want to find who sent the Telecom message." She said simply, occasionally firing off bullets to end the zombies that got too close to S.C.A.R. "Will he be okay out there..?" Lexi glanced over at S.C.A.R who seemed to be able to fight for himself, but Lexi wanted him here, where he could both protect Lexi and Jonathan, and be protected himself. She liked him.

Jonathan was pulled into a neighboring store by Lexi and they began using tables to put some space between the incoming horde and themselves. "I want to find who sent the Telecom message. Will he be ok out there..?" Jonathan fired a few shots, and put a few more zombies on the ground. S.C.A.R. was pretty much swatting away the normal infected like flies, and now that he had taken care of the two lickers he didnt seem to have much more concern. Jonathan replied to Lexi between gunfire.
"Well I cant leave Skar if I do he'll rampage and thats never good for anyone." With that said the black beast made a large swipe with its spine blade. The crude tool tore threw several zombies and sent even more flying, effectively thinning the initial wave, and giving himself a bit of moving room. S.C.A.R. then began backing toward the two as if he sensed they where about to move. "Ok, he is ready to go now. If we dont move soon the horde will probably just get bigger. I have a radio we can use to contact that guy."
Jonathan lowered his rifle and began digging in his backpack. He pulled out a radio that was meant to call in the helicopter that dropped him off, instead he began fiddling with the controls until he put in the numbers the guy had called out over the intercom. Once that was done he handed the radio to Lexi. "That should let you contact him, assuming the frequency he gave us was correct." Jonathan then leveled his rifle once again and laid down suppressive fire to keep the zombies at bay.

Taking the radio from Jonathan, Lexi held it close to her mouth and spoke into it, her voice was hard and stern, she showed no emotion. "Hello? Can anyone hear me? My name is Lexi and we have 2 survivors here, making our way out of Raccoon City Mall.." She stopped and listened carefully, hoping a voice would arise on the other end, but there was nothing. "Can anyone hear me?" She asked, her voice becoming harder and more viscious.
"Stupid thing." She said, shoving it back to Jonathan with force. "You try." Her voice was angry, the radio had clearly rattled her cage. Was she honestly expecting someone to be on the other end?
Jumping up from behing the tables, Lexi rejoined S.C.A.R's side and put her hands on her hips, her gun hanging lazily from her grasp. "Let's go." And without waiting for Jonathan, Lexi was moving, a fast pace that meant she was creating space between them.

OOC: I thought Revenge was driving.
"Hello? Can anyone hear me? My name is Lexi and we have 2 survivors here, making our way out of Raccoon City Mall.." a female voice said over the radio. "Can anyone hear me?"
MacGyvers listened to the call and lowered his head, as he took his radio from his vest.
"We hear you." MacGyvers responded over the radio. "We are soldiers, we can offer protection and shelter." He looked around the APC, shaking his head. "We cannot offer much else."
He released the button on the radio and awaited a response.

Jonathan took the radio back. And was about to shove it back into his backpack when it crackled to life.
"We hear you. We are soldiers, we can offer protection and shelter. We cannot offer much else."
"Hey wait. Ive got someone." Jonathan up rooted himself and began moving with Lexi who was obviously aggrivated that she hadn't gotten a response. S.C.A.R. followed knocking away the remnants of the first wave. A second was starting in from across the room. Jonathan spoke into the radio. "Where can we find you? We are moving deeper into the mall, the barricades from the food court have been over run and they are pouring in on us. Any advice?"

As she stormed off, Lexi heard the radio crackling behind her. Typical! She turned her head to hear the message then shook it. Soldiers. The last things she wanted to see right now, she still remembered one from years back, and he wasn't the best of company.
Keeping close to S.C.A.R, Lexi allowed Jonathan to catch up with her, occasionally firing shots to keep the zombies from getting too close, though S.C.A.R did a pretty good job. "So we're going to see Soldiers who do nothing more than what we're doing.." Lexi sighed and sped up, she just wanted out of this mall, it had served it's purpose. "Man, I could kill for a vodka.." She said slowly, her mouth instantly watering at the thought.

"Where can we find you?" a new voice asked, male. "We are moving deeper into the mall, the barricades from the food court have been over run and they are pouring in on us. Any advice?"
MacGyvers cursed under his breath, as he moved forward to the driver's area, motioning for Will to step aside.
"Don't bloody do that!" MacGyvers barked into the radio, as he started up the APC. "The best thing to do would be evacuating the area." MacGyvers placed the APC into full reverse. "If the barricades have fallen then it will not be long before the creatures over run you."
MacGyvers did not bother to really look behind him as he drove the vehicle. The heavily armored carrier pushed what cars he hit out of the way and splattered the zombies that stood in his wake.
"We are outside in an armored carrier..." MacGyvers continued. "We are outside of the Mall's front entrance. If you need us to, we can move to another location."
MacGyvers looked at Will and Siris.
"I don't care what you guys think....but enough lives have been lost....if we can, we owe it to help these people in any way that we can."

The horde swarming in from food court quickly grew and where surging toward the small group of survivors. Jonathan listened as Lexi said something about vodka, in his head he totally agreed. When he got home he'd be sure to down a whole fifth. Then the radio crackled.
"Don't bloody do that!"
Thats all he needed to hear. The darkening hall in front of them had sustained much more damage than the courtroom they had been in and few paths lead out. The ones that did had been heavily damaged. A semi truck had crashed into the nearest exit causing a lot of rubble to fall down around the entrance. But there was a hole high up that lead outside. Jonathan looked at S.C.A.R. their eyes connected and the black beast had its orders, and it would follow them without question.
S.C.A.R. swept Lexi off her feet mid run and held her the way a groom carries his bride. "Skar will get you out of here. I'll be right behind you." The behemoth tripled its speed making Jonathan and Lexi's running look like they had been walking. Speaking into the radio now. "We are coming out of the building where a semi crashed. There is a girl being carried by a black tyrant. Do NOT fire on him. I repeat DO NOT fire on the tyrant." Jonathan made his message loud and clear so there would be no question on the other end. And with that he turned to face the oncoming horde. He sprayed the rest of his 30 round clip into mass, dropped the clip, and let the rifle fall in its sling. He turned and full out sprinted towards his only exit, zombies hot on his heels. S.C.A.R. had already cleared the truck and was stepping out into the daylight.
Jonathan pulled his 1911 from its holster and blindly fired three shots behind him. Then a five more zombies wondered out of the remains of the stores in front of him. Three more shots rang out in the mall. The dark haired man lept onto the front of the ruined semi and pulled himself onto its hood. A few zombies smacked against the front end just as he cleared it. He then hopped up on top of the cab and then up onto some rubble just below the exit. His head began to hurt and he looked back at mass of zombies. They where clawing over one another to get to him, one had actually came close to his ankle. "Get the f**k away from me." He put a hand in his back pack and pulled out an incendiary grenade. "D**nit, I was saving this for a special occasion, cause I stole it from that soldier I killed a while back..." He pulled the pin from the grenade and dropped it onto one of the leading zombie's head. Jonathan quickly turned and finished climbing the rubble into the sunlight.
He jumped out the other side and hit the ground on the other side hard, it knocked the breath out of him. As he looked back into the hole a bright light splashed the shadows inside the mall and then settled to a yellow-orange glow. The undead inside would burn to a crisp and the flames would soon die. Hopefully that'd deter too many from following for a while.

Suddenly Lexi found herself in the arms of S.C.A.R, she wasn't scared, he was running, fast, heading towards the entrance of the mall. Everything sort of blurred past her fast. "JONATHAN!" She yelled, noticing he was far behind them now. What was he doing?! Why couldn't he have picked her up? Clinging to S.C.A.R to ensure her safety, Lexi peered over his huge shoulders to see Jonathan almost being savaged by zombies. She wanted to jump out of the Tyrants arms and sprint for him as fast as she could, she'd down them in seconds.
Noticing one of them almost grab his ankle, she winced, a shivering sensation jolting down her spine, she didn't like this. As she watched the incendiary grenade spark up in a thousand pretty lights, she winced harder and pounced out of S.C.A.R's arms, landing gracefully on both feet. She headed for Jonathan and grabbed his wrist, grimacing at him. "Idiot." She whispered, yanking him with her to the truck that was waiting. The Soldiers were here.

((OCC: Oh, I thought you were, lol. Besides the post was general, so it could be angled toward him as well. By the way Alexia an APC wouldn't be classified as a truck, more like a small tank. )) Siris leapt out of the back port of the APC as he raised his rifle to the horde behind the survivors. He watched as the horde simply walked through the fire and continued to shuffle toward their position. Siris took clean, precise shots into the leading ghoul's head as he motioned for them to get into the APC. He continued to cover their advance as he rushed to the man who dove on the ground to avoid the explosion. He helped Lexi help him up as he pushed them forward into the APC. He noticed the large Tyrant standing just behind him; But it was strange...It didn't attack or even advance to him. Siris continued to hammer on the horde while pulling his P99 from it holster and taking aim at the Tyrant; "Tyrant! Watch get to the APC I'll cover you!"

Will clammored out of the back of the APC too face the flaming horde shuffling towards them in the distance.
"Tyrant! Watch get to the APC I'll cover you!"
Will looked over to his right at the tyrant and then to Siris. The mercenary reached out and slapped the barrel of the P99 down and rose his finger to Siris.
"Didn't you hear from the radio? They said don't fire," Will said shaking his head. "All we need is for someone too **** it off and it not be friendly."
The mercenary looked over the man, woman and the tyrant and smiled behind his gas mask. While as odd as the group seen, he had seen odder pairs in his travels. Will stepped to the side of the ramp and waved his hand towards the back hatch, motioning them in.
"We can introduce ourselves on the ride," Will said then nodded towards the zombies. "No use wasting our ammo when we'll be out of here in only a few minutes."

Clambering into the armoured vehicle, Lexi made sure that S.C.A.R and Jonathan were close behind her. Lexi took a seat and brushed her messy hair from her face, eyeing the new found friends. Well, she used the term 'friends' lightly. Sliding her gun back into it's sling, Lexi leant back onto the cold metal, allowing it to cool her body down instantly, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment.
Waiting patiently for the truck to move, she carefully analysed each man standing before her. She wasn't particularly impressed, per se, she'd already been slightly attrated to Jonathan, and his huge friend.

MacGyvers kept his distance from the Tyrant as it, the woman, and the man got onboard the APC.
"Get us out of here Will." MacGyvers said, as he looked at the woman. He had a vague idea that he recognized her. He shook his head. It couldn't be, that had been ages ago.
"You seem familiar." MacGyvers said in his Scottish drawl. "I believe that I have seen you somewhere before...here, in this city of the dead."
MacGyvers continued to look at the woman. She was quite beautiful, he had to give her that. He just could not shake the idea that he had meet her before. The man was new and the Tyrant was most certainly new, but the woman....the woman was most definitely someone one would forget easily. Even through the countless skirmishes and battles he had fought and nearly died in the past, this woman was unforgettable.

Siris watched the Tyrant as the APC pushed through the streets once again, he didn't care how much the two survivors trusted it or however many zombies it killed. To him, it was a homicidal time-bomb waiting to be set off and send the theoretical s*** to the hit the fan. He leaned to MacGyvers and spoke in a silent whisper, "I do not see how you can trust this thing...For all you know it could be the very thing you stated beforehand, it could be waiting for the precise moment...I'm not saying toss it out, just...Keep your guard up..." He watched how MacGyvers looked at the women who just entered the APC, his eyes sparked in familiarity, it could have been an Ex-lover, a sibling, or a friend. He looked to the women, then back to MacGyvers, "...Even with her. I could be pegging these people wrong, but we have to watch them. We need to examine for bites or blood in the eyes, nose, mouth, or ears. The last thing we need is a pair of infected and a Tyrant."
Siris walked to Jonathan and pulled a small, LED flashlight from his pouch on his vest, "That thing won't attack me if I do some examinations will it? I need to make sure you were not bitten or that you didn't catch blood in your mouth or eyes." he took a step back, "I can see first signs of infection with this light, all I need to do is shine it your eyes, ears and nose and I can determine if you caught the virus through this method, then the solution is simple." He pulled a small vile from a different pouch on his vest, "I hit you with the cure." he tucked away the vile as he flicked the light on and off, testing it's batteries. He adjusted his vest as he cleared his throat, "The next part will be...Well you have to understand it is necessary because there is no scanner with us. You are going to have to strip your underwear, I need to check for bites. I know this might be strange, but we do not have portable scanners, and we have check manually." he flicked the light again, "But honestly , you do not have to if you feel uncomfortable, but you will be restrained if you refuse until we are certain you are not infected. We cannot be too sure...Nothing personal, comrade. It's just standard procedure for when we pick up survivor."
