"You got a Licker coming from the sporting goods store to your left" his ear mic rang. Will looked over his shoulder to see a licker was indeed infact in the sporting goods store. The creature's tongue whipped wildly in the air in front of it's face as it crawled through the shattered display windows and let out a hiss. The mercenary did a one-eighty, dropped to one knee and brought his weapon against his shoulder. The Licker jumped. Before it even hit the ground it was shredded by the five point five-six rounds that tore through it's body, leaving nothing more than a fleshy pulp of gore hit the ground. Will ejected the spent magazine, placed it in one of his empty leg pockets, produced a fresh magazine from his vest and accordingly slammed it back into the magazine well before pulling back the receiver and loading a fresh round into the chamber.
He turned his head in the direction they came and noticed the horde was starting to gain ground towards the group. No matter. Within a few short feet Will made it to the shattered entrance way, his boots smashing fragments of glass into even smaller fragments as he walked through the breezeway and out into the ravanged parking lot.
"Now to find our friend.." Will said as he walked across the parking lot, scanning the buildings ahead for any indication of the sniper.

Luiz saw as the two men escaped the mall. He was in trouble, the door that held the infected was starting to give away. In the matter of moments it would break. Luiz shouldered his MP5k and pointed at the door. "Guys the building across from the Mall, I'm on the top floor. I'm in some deep s***, a good amount of zombies are on the otherside of the door. And it's giving away." There was a large thud followed by gunfire and then the mic went dead. Luiz was still but was slowly being cornered.

Siris peered from a window that lead to the parking lot; Two men where standing, looking around for something he ignored it as he watched the entrance of the food court. As if on queue; moaning and shuffling grew closer to Siris as he brought the modified combat shotgun up and toward the entrance to the food court. He kept his eyes locked on the entrance of the small two way door as the horde began advancing on his position.
The makeshift barricades wouldn't hold the horde for very long, and Siris knew it. His best bet was to escape into the parking lot after he blew the propane tanks and set the traps. If too many Undead were left standing, he would finish them off with either the recovered Saiga or his custom AK. The moaning grew louder as Siris brought himself into the center of the food court. The first Zombie trudged into the court and moaned as it reached out for him, hungering for the meal to come. Siris stepped back as the one Zombie turned to a Dozen, the Dozen into a hundred. The shotgun rang out in a full on full automatic roar as Siris squeezed the trigger. He watched head after head explode through the iron-sights. A mist of black, gooey liquid exploded from each head and doused the ghoul standing next to it in a shower of the black substance.
Siris backpedaled up the stairs and watched as the Zombies surround the food court and began attacking the raw meat strapped to the propane tank. A few rounds are all it took to set off a chain reaction of each propane tank surrounded by the horde of the undead. Siris swapped magazines and pulled back on the bolt; locking another shell into the chamber. To his surprise, more zombies flooded out of the small door way and even more broke the barricades. Siris slung the shotgun and unsheathed his Kukri knife. The horde grew closer as Siris readied the weapon and brought it over his head; ready to decapitate any zombie that came within swinging range. Suddenly, something grabbed him from behind pulled him back with surprising strength. Siris caught his footing and shoved the curved blade into the Zombies neck, then quickly drug the blade across its neck. He flipped over and twisted in mid-air, flinging the body into another horde. Siris pulled his custom AK and took two shots into the window, then leapt out into the parking lot where the two men stood looking for something. He rushed to the men and spoke, his clear Russian accent not hidden due to the stress of the situation, "Zombies...Hundreds of them, headed in this direction. Some of them are heaping piles of burning flesh, but most of them are still headed to us." Siris looked over his shoulder and watched the horde pour from the window. The waterfall of bodies built high enough for other Zombies to easily access the parking lot. Siris unslung his AK-47 and shot up high, effectively dropping the ghoul he aimed his high-powered assault rifle toward. He dropped the rifle to his hip as he informed of each Zombie's demise with simple the phrase; "Zeta Down!" He looked to the men and as he reloaded; "Undead! Get back, comrades!"

MacGyvers listened to the radio report and looked over at Will.
"You good for ammo?" he asked, as he checked his pouches. He only had a half a magazine left in the rifle and one spare. "If not, we are going to be close quarters sooner than later." MacGyvers chuckled, as he looked across to the building before them.
"Ready to live dangerously?" MacGyvers asked with a grin, as he sized up the building.

Will glanced over to the new arrival, a man who had just stormed out of the mall bringing more of the pursuing horde with him, and nodded. "Conserve your ammo, pal," Will said as he began jogging across the street towards the building ahead. "We'll be out of here in no time after we retreive our new 'friend'." "You good for ammo?" MacGyvers said "If not, we are going to be close quarters sooner than later. Ready to live dangerously?" "I have four more magazines for my rifle, four for both pistols, I should be good unless we run into any real trouble," Will said as he patted himself down checking his ammunition. "As for the live dangerously part...but of course." The mercenary looked inside the grimy windows of the building in front of him, from the looks of it it used to be a small insurance firm. Atleast thats what he could make out amonst the group of zombies inside which were shufflin up the stairs shoulder to shoulder. The front door had been barricaded previously, so the infected had to be coming in from somewhere in the back out of their view. Will stepped away from the door and walked around to the side of the building into it's alleyway. There he saw what he was looking for. The fire escape. The sniper had obviously not seen it or he would have bolted out minutes ago. The zombies in there must have entered the same way he did. "New guy," Will said turning to the new men who joined the group shortly before. "You watch the alleyway just in case the zombies decide to shuffle their disgusting bodies down there. MacGyvers, your with me, or if you'd like watch the alleyway with our new friend here. Your choice, comrade" With that said the mercenary slung his rifle, climbed ontop of one of the nearby dumpsters, and clammered up the ladder to the fire escape. Within a few seconds of clammoring up the steps he made it to the window of the second floor. Inside he could see the sniper and the horde as they burst through the door. He only had a few seconds. Will unslung his rifle, slammed the front of the barrel through the window, shattering it, and took aim. The lead zombie approaching the man fell to the ground as a round tore through his skull. "Over here!" Will called out as he fire upon the other infected pouring through the doorway. ----- Project V88 stood on the rooftop of the mall, crouched next to the shattered sun roof, peering down at the scene below him. Just as he feared. Amonst the horde of shambling corpses below, he could see the remains of the Union expeditionary force that had been dispatched to Raccoon City, now being feasted upon by the undead. His only link to his former brethern had been severed. But it had been expected. The tyrant and former Union loyalist now realised he had now army to fight for. Nothing to fight for at all. Except for one thing, to find the airship that he had spotted leaving the Union compound on that fateful day his comrades were eliminated en masse. The armored figure stood up and walked to the edge of the mall to watch where the infected hordes were migrating too. As he approached the edge of the roof he could make out three figure opposite of the parking lot, walking towards some sort of structure. Curious, V88 reached into his leg pouch to produce a small telescopic sight, in which he peered through to see the three individuals. All three seemed to be military types judging from their weaponry and gear. Two of the men looked all too familiar to him. The man climbing the fire escape was easily identifiable just from his rifle and the gas mask on his face. The second man was recognizable from the facial scars that plagued his face. Both men he had previously engaged in combat. Will Revenge and William MacGyvers. We have a reunion it seems, the tyrant thought as he placed the telescopic sight back into his pouch. Engaging them would take him no where. Stalking them or maybe even appraoching them as a alley could prove useful. V88 left the roof of the mall to begin tracking his targets.

Siris nodded as he drifted into the darkness and brought the recovered Saiga head-leveled to anything that entered the alleyway. Siris laid prone in the alley, keeping his shotgun head-level to the undead that could shuffle into the alley way at anytime. Siris reached down and checked his weapons and ammunition to double check his skirmish with the undead in the food court didn’t jam or break any magazines. “Two Saiga magazines broken, one lost. That leaves three usable magazines for it, five for my Kalashnikov.” He looked to the man still standing just outside the alley; “Your friend is up the ladder through the fire escape. I can handle myself here, find your other friend.” Whether he stayed or went, it made no difference. It would take more than a few hundred Ghouls to end the highly trained NATO declared “commando”.

"I help the newbie." MacGyvers replied, as he fell back to the new guy. MacGyvers raised his M4 and began to check the area. He then noticed the weapons used by the man. A red flag went off in MacGyvers head seeing the Soviet weaponry used by this man.
"Nice weapons." MacGyvers remarked, as he stayed behind the new man. "I have seen a lot of men use those particular models myself...mind telling me where exactly you came across them?"
MacGyvers finger tensed on his trigger. If this guy turned out to be a late coming member of the Union, he would have no qualms with firing a few rounds into the man's back. He would expect a Union soldier to do the same to him, if the roles were reversed.

Siris shrugged; "I pulled on off a dead soldier's body. Poor kid...He was young. The Kalashnikov is my personal weapon I modified back in HQ." He kept his eyes locked on the outside of the alley; "NATO's Intel was solid. But I cannot fathom why one would support what the Union stand's for." He looked over his shoulder and noticed the man had his weapon leveled to his back, "Relax. I'm not with them. You ever heard of NATO SPECDEF?" He paused then turned his attention to the alley entrance, "You can call me Siris, by the way. Whether you give me your name or not." he shrugged "It makes no difference." his radio PCD (Portable Communications device) beeped, informing him of an oncoming message. He pulled the small device out and tapped "Open" on his screen. An image of man appeared over the small five inch screen. He spoke clear and with no accent, "Siris, NATO scans show a large body mass on the roof of that church. It could be a tyrant, also the horde you are fighting is much larger. The entire mall is covered with them, proceed with caution." Siris closed the message and placed the device back in the pouch on his shoulder, "Looks like more bad news...But s***, this is Raccoon City. If your not ready to fight, you are as good as dead."

Luiz heard someone shout and looked over and saw Will on a fire escape. El Toro took off in a sprint grabbed his R700 and grabbed onto the ladder. He quickly slide down the ladder and was soon right next to Will. "Thanks bro, I think it would be best if we make our escape now." Luiz said in a greatful tone. He whipped around and shot a zombie in the head. It fell and another replaced it. Luiz kept dispatching the infected waiting for Will to make his move.

"NATO, eh?" MacGyvers remarked, as Siris introduced himself. "My name is MacGyvers..."
As he spoke, Siris received a communique from what seemed to be his superiors informing him of the size of the zombie horde and of a possible tyrant in the area.
"You know what they say....there is no such thing as luck on the battlefield." MacGyvers lamented, as he kept himself from looking above. "Word to the wise...if we do not let on that we believe that he is up there...the beastie may lurk away.....or not...depends on the model doesn't it?"

Siris shrugged, "It may, I've only encountered one Tyrant in my time here in Raccoon City, and the bastard didn't go no matter how many shots I put into it." He turned back to the entrance of the ally, the undead saw began shuffling toward the duos position. Siris squeezed the trigger of the automatic shotgun, sending the BBs from the buck shot into first wave of the undead, he continued to pump the rounds into the horde, making sure each and every shell met its mark. He looked to MacGyevers, "Watch our six! They might behind us, comrade!" He reloaded the Saiga and continued to dispatch the endless horde through the narrow ally. Siris pulled the large magazine from the shotgun and locked another one in, that left him with two magazines for the Saiga. Siris stood up and stepped back from the advancing horde, still pumping rounds into the zombies that shuffled forward. He hoped the man behind him would cover his reload and their tactical retreat.

Will let loose of the rungs of the ladder and landed on the concrete below amongst the rest of the group. The undead were begining to turn their attention from the back of the building to the alleyway.
"We need to get back to the vehicles around the back," Will yelled over the roar of the automatic shotgun. "Infected are surronding this whole area and from what I've seen theres no useable vehicles around here-"
Will stopped in mid sentence when he noticed something across the street. A large object produded halfway out of the corner of the brick building. An APC. Their luck had changed and in good time. He doubted they would have been able to cross the parking lot while avoiding the mass of undead pouring out from the mall and surronding areas. The olive colored vehicle had crashed into the building for reasons unknown. Will thought maybe the crew had been infected and one had perhaps turned and killed the rest. They'd find out when they'd get there though.
"Get to that vehicle now!" Will shouted as he began jogging across the road. Side stepping and dodging every zombie in his path.

As Siris reloaded, MacGyvers let loose controlled bursts from his M4. The Scotsman aimed his rifle carefully, dropping the undead with each barrage. As he aimed at the seventh zombie in his target line and dropped it, he knew that his rifle was dry. Slinging it behind his back, MacGyvers drew his sidearm, USP .45. He let loose the semi-automatic pistols fire on the zombies as Siris reloaded.
"Come on!" he shouted, as he fired, his shots beginning to fall from their usual marks. The strain of the combat was beginning to show on MacGyvers performance. "I got plenty of copper coated candy for the lot of you!"
As he fired, he heard Will shout that they had a ride. MacGyvers turned his head and saw the APC, and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Come on, lad..." MacGyers said to Siris. "We are riding out of here in style."
As he spoke, he took a few more pot shots at the zombies, before he turned and began to run towards the awaiting vehicle.

Siris slung the automatic shotgun and unsheathed his Kukri knife. Both the Rifle and the Shotgun did little to weigh him down as he kept pace behind MacGyvers, slashing at the throats of the scattered undead as he ran by them. Siris pulled the pin off two grenades and tossed them into the approaching horde. He spun around each ghoul and decapitated each one with clean strikes. He smiled under his mask as he heard their heads and bodies send a loud thud through the street.
The APC was in sight as Siris kept his eyes locked on his objective, his only means of getting back to HQ. He continued to slash at the throats of the undead as he climbed atop the APC and sheath his Kukri. He then unslung his Kalashnikov and took quick, precise shots into the horde that still shuffled to the APC. He kept his rifle head level as he waited for the APC to begin moving or for the other man to find a new solution. Siris shook his head as he thought; No, I cannot depend on this man to find an exit strategy, NATO prepared you for this...Look around. his eyes followed the wrecked build up to see the floor had collapsed into the APC so it would make an easy escape. Siris also noticed that the emergency light was on and flashing which meant working elevators and places to dig in and wait for support. He leaned on APC's turret as he continued to drop the zombies that were growing closer to the armored vehicle and the group trying to get out. He screamed as he took a few more shots, "I hope you know how to drive this damn thing! Because I sure as hell do not." He lowered his gun as he saw something...different. A zombie with a long tongue and crawled on all fours, Siris watched as the one became two, the two into four, and all this time...They were hidden with the horde. Siris screamed as he took a shot at one, effectivley dropping it; "Lickers! Concentrate fire on direct threats comrades!"

The street was filled with gunfire as Will squeezed in between the wall of the building and the APC smashed into it. From all the knocked over book shelfs inside it seemed like the place was once a comic book shop or some form of book store. Either way, it wouldn't be seeing any buisness for a long time. The mercenary walked towards the front of the armored vehicle, climbed up the ramming bar and peered through the window after pulling out his small LED flashlight. The interior was cluttered with weapons and various ammo crates along with a pool of dried blood in the middle of the floor...but no bodies.
"I hope you know how to drive this damn thing! Because I sure as hell do not." Siris yelled over the gunfire.
"Don't worry," Will said climbing back down the front of the vehicle. "I've drove more of these than regular cars."
Will climbed around to the driver's side and climbed inside and after a brief search for the keys, brought the APC to life.
"Everyone in!"
