[Anna and Johnathan Enter the Uptown Street System]
As the duo walked through the nearly secluded streets, Anna couldn't help but notice that some streets were completely dark due to broken lamp posts. She crinkled her nose, her face contorting as the smell of something rotten wafting through her nostrils.
"And this is safe...? We could easily be outnumbered here...I know nothing of the new pattern of streets here..."

When Arc finally caught up with Anna and the man, he kept in the background, kept his distance from them. This had turned into a steath operation, which he had been famillier with for quite a long time now. As he crouched around behind some wrecked cars on the side of the street, he peeked up, the both of them were in sight. He would be able to follow them undetected so long as he kept a low profile. That being said, Arc reached into his pocket, and pulled out a supressor for his .45 handgun, screwing it on and then keeping it in reach. The streets werent safe, and if he had to lay down some protective fire, he wanted to do it quietly. As Arc finished modding his gun, he peeked back through the gap, waiting for the man to make the next move.

Jonathan shook his head, "For someone who was once a cop, you sure are jumpy. Don't be a baby and just walk through the street. If you keep moving, nothing is going to stop you, except maybe a licker or two, but if you're quiet even they can't hurt you."
Jonathan walked down the street and stopped, turning around. He had heard something, or someone. His hearing not being like that of a normal person. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary and disregarded it as a distant zombie.
"Anyway, try to toughen up a bit," Jonathan continued as they went even further into the darkened street making Jonathan harder to see in his black attire.

Anna glanced back at him. "I wasn't worrying about me. I was more so concerned for your life, Price."
She continued to follow after the man when something suddenly hit her. "Wait, what makes you think I'm a cop?"

Jonathan looked at her and smiled, "Call it instict. The way you carry yourself and the way you talk - you've obviously had some sort of Law Enforement training. That and you said that I looked a lot like Captain Wesker...only a member of the RCPD would know what he looked like and that he wore shades."
Jonathan then looked down thinking about his old friend and mentor. Wesker, Birkin and he had been the scientists in charge of the T-Virus research, though Birkin and Wesker were the key players. Jonathan was the one responsible for keeping everything secret and he presided over the project involving his daughter.
Jonathan would never tell Anna that, he found it best to keep things a secret for the time being.

Anna smirked at the man and laughed. "Sharp observation skills there, Price. Yeah, I was a cop here back in 1996-1998. I was here for it all...when the G-Virus, the replica of the T-Virus, leaked. I was a survivor."
She thought back about that year. Has it really been fourteen years though? From the way it is now-a-days, it felt like that incident was only yesturday and today was just the continuance of that nightmare.

Jonathan nodded, "I know...time has flown by for me too. Tell me, did you talk to Wesker much?"
Jonathan was now asking some probing questions to see just how much the girl knew. He was good at observation anyway, it came from his military training, but as always - she didn't need to know that.

Arc moved his head down as he saw the man look back, and then he peeked back up to make sure that he wasnt seen. After the both of them contenued along the street, he had came out from behind the wrecked vehicle, and then followed Anna. The man was getting very hard to see in the darkness, but as long as he could spot one of them, he had visual. Keeping his distance as they moved, he longed for them to arrive at the destination, he was curious as to where this place actually was, and how hard it was going to be to follow them inside. The night was quiet, so he was able to hear most of the conversation between the both of them. Arc found a good cover zone in an allyway, as he perched himself inside, peering out at them from the darkness, watching and listening.

Anna scowled a little and thought back, raking her brain for some memory of the man. After awhile she remembered a few incidents with him. Wait, why's Wesker so important to this guy? Deciding it was best not to ask, Anna replied to his question.
"I've spoke to him a few times. Well if you call being yelled at and told I was an incompetent officer would count as a conversation. Weird because I wasn't even in S.T.A.R.S..."

Jonathan laughed and wanted to reply with 'That's Albert for you, thinking he owns everybody', but he didn't because that would give him away as knowing Wesker, but the girl being a cop, Jonathan had to come up with a good lie to explain his questions.
"I spoke with him once when I was in the RPD,"Jonathan stated, "he came across as cold and arrogant, but still was in control. A complicated man."

Before Anna could reply, she abruptly stopped walking. She could see them...the feet peeking out of the darkness ahead, arms outstretched and those moans were all too familiar. Ahead of the two, a good number of the walking dead had shuffled about.
Anna's jaw tightened as she reached for her .45. "Hope you have a plan because I'm low on ammo."

Jonathan looked to his left, nothing. He then looked to his right...nothing. There was only one way out of this precarious situation. Jonathan took out his 9mm and walked closer to the group. There were around ten of them coming at them slowly with staggering steps. Jonathan put the pistol back and took a grenade from beneath his vest.
He pulled the pin and tossed it into the center of the group before pushing Anna down, "Get down." He then covered her head as the grenade exploded, blowing the undead to pieces all of the buildings and ground, bodyparts going everywhere.

Arc dove deeper into the allyway when the explosion hit the street, as he saw peices of shrapnel hitting the brick on the edge of the walls. Then he sidled to the corner, looking out again toward the man and Anna. There was definitly a good reason why he was keeping her alive, and for some strange reason, Arc knew that he would take care of anything that got in his way, and that included her way aswell. He saw a large pile of debris layed across the street from the both of them, and he braved the stretch into closer cover. Arc crouched and moved into the shadows across the street behind what seemed like dumpster. As long as he kept down, he would remain unseen by them, he assured himself as he peeked around the side again.

Anna lifted her arms up in front of her face, shielding herself from the explosion and flying body parts. As the smoke settled, she slowly peeked over her arms and coughed.
"Would've been nice if you gave me a warning. Thanks anyway...." she squinted an eye, wondering why he was protecting her. She'd have to be sure to stay extra cautious later.
Suddenly she looked over her shoulder, she could've sworn she saw someone run by. Maybe it was her imagination...she grinned.
'Or maybe it was my good buddy, Arc. Dammit, he's suppose to be looking for Richard...' she thought to herself.

((Joe Pool enters))
Joe was almost frustrated. He had looked through most of the RCPD, but had only found evidence of previous survivors, they seemed to have left the building. Joe advanced through the nearest street, being careful to be stealthy.
He heard a loud explosion as a piece of shrapnel whipped by him, cutting his cheek. Joe swore under his breath, but the cut wasnt too deep, luckily. He peered into an alleyway and saw a man crouched behind a dumpster. He appeared to be spying on something, Joe followed the mans vision to another 2 survivors, who must have been the ones to set of the explosion.
Joe advanced upon the 2 survivors, Jonathan and Anna, he turned when he was sure the spy could see him and winked, to assure the spy that Joe knew, but would not tell Jonathan or Anna that he was there.
He spoke to Jonathan and Anna together before they could notice him. "You are going to get us all killed, making explosions like that! Jeez, have a bit of sense! Loud noises actually attract those zombies, you know? Use. Your. Brain." He realized he was being hostile, but they needed to learn their lesson. "Gunshots are fine, but look! Smoke is still in the air...." Joe swiftly checked the immediate area. "The rest of the horde have not noticed us yet, you are lucky. I'm Joe, I'm gonna help you out of this hell hole." He was very direct, as well as hostile, but he was simply telling the truth.
