Clarissa had been listening intently for what she could only assume was a pair of f**king lions out in the distance. She had atleast three thoughts tangled in her mess of a mind. One was to ditch the old man and save her own ass. The second was to shoot him in the knee caps, leave him for the lions to buy time for her escape and the third was to hop the nearby fence and scream "Syonara!" to Logan. Then when her morality decided to bite the kid in the ass, she groaned.
"So are you comin' with me or not?" she asked. He hadn't answered, forcing Clarissa to look over her shoulder at him. He looked like he was stuck in some sort of trance or something, staring blankly ahead at nothing. That wasn't really smart to do when there was possibly infected lions around.
She switched her gun to her left hand as she waved her right in his face. "Hellluuu? The lights are on apparently no one's home..." she grumbled. When Logan finally snapped out of it, he looked down at the kid and asked her what she wanted to do, giving her two options. Didn't take her long to choose.
"Diner, I can always make it to my first directive for first aid. The hospital. Now c'mon!" she ordered, walking ahead of him and climbing the fence.

What are you, my wife? Logan spoke inside his head, instinctively following the little girl Clarissa. When she jumped the fence, he watched from the other side, seeing her landing with ease. She was a lot more energetic then him, but hes had plenty of experience climbing fences. Running forward, he jumped onto it, and then climbed to the top. Using his upper body strength, his arms vaulted his legs over, and he landed a little rough. Shaking his head as Clarissa was already running down the street toward the small diner, Logan ran after her, moving much more quickly. But as he paced with her, he held onto the melee weapon tightly, and then spoke out between breaths while they ran. "I saw some infected around here, roaming around the front. I think we should take the back ally, it leads into the diner from the kitchen."
Logan stopped at the ally door leading to the back of the place, and then turned the knob. To his surprise, it was locked, and was too high for them to climb over. Noticing something shining from the moonlight on the ground, there was a set of keys on a security guard layed out on the ground. Logan walked up to the body, and snatched the keys, nearly waiting for it to get up. It wasnt until he turned away that it rose up from its slumber, and walked toward him. As he put the key on the hole, Logan heard the noise, and abandoned the keys. Kicking the infected to the ground, it slammed its back onto the street where it lay before. And with one quick hit, the table leg entered its skull, but finally started to crack. "Sh*t..."

Clarissa walked over beside Logan and shot the zombie between it's eyes just incase it wasn't dead yet. Now the bastard would'nt move. She returned to the door for him and tried turning the key, that failed when it failed to turn. She switched to another key and then another, until finally she found the right one. She heard a click, twisted and pushed her shoulder up against the door, quickly fixing her aim inside the door and taking side glances back and fourth then directed her eyes forward. For a kid, it was quite obvious she knew what the hell she was doing.
"Didn't mean to sound so demanding, by the way. Just uneasy around strangers. Bad experience..." she grumbled the last part as she stepped aside, letting him go by. She followed directly behind him ensuring she was the one that had the upperhand incase he was like all the others.
Walking through the office, she took note that there was a door behind the desk and a narrow hall leading toward what she assumed was the dining area of the diner. She stretched her arm out to grasp onto the kitchen door, twisting and pulling at it. The door knob had turned but the door barely cracked open and then stopped, something was barricading it from the otherside, apparently.
Clarissa peeked an eye into the crack to see a wounded man laying farther back, he was still conscious and it looked like he was crying. She took another look over at Logan who was carefully screening the dining area. When he turned around to look back at the kid, she waved her hand, gesturing for him to come take a look. When he did, she moved aside and pointed through the crack. "A survivor," she said in a whisper.
When the man took a gander at the scene, she looked around loosely at the office they stood in. Taking a look at the desk, she went through it's drawers and things had went black and white for a moment. She made out a figure on the desk forcing themselves ontop of another smaller figure. The kid's eye twitched and she shook her head, frowning. When Logan had grabbed her shoulder to say something, the young girl flinched and smacked her hand off of him.
"STOP!" she yelled. The sudden outburst had caught the survivor's attention. He quickly lifted his head and started crawling towards the door, hand outstretched. "S-Someone there...? P-P-Please help me...I can't...stop the bleeding...please...help..."
Clarissa finally returned home in her head and looked through the door again. "Don't worry, we'll get ya out, sir!"

Logan looked in at the man, seeing the blood around him. From here, it was impossible to tell what happened, but he quickly came to the conclusion that he was bitten. Taking the lead in the situation, he leaned back, and then rammed forward with his shoulder. The door barely budged, but it rattled another half an inch open. The only way he made any progress was his power, Logan wasnt a pushover, he had years and years of intense execise that boosted his strength. Taking a few breathers, he rushed forward again, ramming the door, this time with his leg. Until it was a good three inches open, he kept ramming it, then placed the wood between the crack. With a pull, he pried the door open more and more, until the table leg snapped apart. "God dammit!"
A small chunk of the wood drove into Logans hand, and seconds after he pulled it out, he clenched his fist, and then started to violently ram the door. The final shoulder, the door bent at the top, and whatever was blocking the way had cracked and fell to the ground. The door swung open, and Logan looked at the man, laying against the wall with a large bite mark on his arm. Turning his attention to Clarissa, who had been a bit shocked and fearful by Logans angry situation, he spoke out to her without anymore rage in his voice. "You can deal with him, and get your first aid kit. Christ..." Slamming his fist into the wall, a small crack in the wood releived him. Walking away from the kitchen, Logan held his hand tightly, watching the blood drip onto the floor before making a fist and leaning against the doorway.

Clarissa had watched Logan ripping through the door and ultimately injuring his hand with the broken table leg. He'd gotten angrier and started beating on the wall, supressing the pain is what she figured he'd be doing. It was weird, like watching someone she use to know rage out like that. Wincing she nodded at his remark and cautiusly moved passed him, glancing at his hand before turning her attention onto the survivor. The mystery man had clenched onto his bleeding arm as he looked up at her, pathetically.
"Y-You're a kid...y-you can't help me.." he said, groggily. Clarissa knelt down and removed his hand gently from over his arm. "Prolly not but atleast I can try to do somethin'."
The man had yelped and squeezed his eyes shut as Clarissa got a good look at his arm. There was a large bite taking a big chunk out of his forearm. The bleeding had puddled inside the wound as she held it upright. The skin around it had been flaked and heavily bruised. Judging by all the smeared blood all over the place, she couldn't figure out how the hell he was even still breathing.
Unwrapping her jacket from around her waist, she wrapped his arm up tightly in an attempt to control some of the bleeding so he'd have enough to get to the hospital. When she had finished tying, she smiled a little and looked up at the man. "See, wasn't all that b--" she paused when she saw his head slumped on his chest and his shoulders hanging lifelessly.
She frowned and touched the man's neck, feeling for a pulse. "He just...died..." she muttered. It didn't take long for him to snap his head back up, his face distorted and eyes milky white. He groaned and pulled at the girl, lunging his mouth at her face. Clarissa grunted and pushed her leg out into his stomach and then pushed her forearm under his neck in an attempt to keep his mouth back.
"Okay, not dead!"

Logan rushed into the room when he heard the noises coming from the man. As he moved inside the kitchen, he saw Clarissa being tackled by the guy, who was now a zombie. At that moment, Logan knew it was one of those stupid decisions to try and save somebody, but even he had found himself doing it over the hears. But there was only one solution, and that was a bullet in the head. Kicking forward, grabbing onto Clarissa with strong arms, he lifted her away with ease, and threw her outside of the kitchen. Logan used his heal to smash in the face of the infected repeatively. "Ya know, your gonna get yourself killed, kid! Jesus...!"

Clarissa tumbled backwards and into the office outside, her back smacking against the wall and neck whipping forward. Flinching, she hissed and grasped at the back of her neck, grumbling and glaring daggers into Logan's back. She watched as he took out the undead man and grasped onto the desk nearby as leverage to pull herself back up to her feet.
When she did, she casted a dark glare up at the old man, a scowl on her face. "Are you an ass to everyone? Or is this some deep, dark, faqade you keep up because nobody understands you?" she asked, completely venomously. She wasn't sure where she was goin with it, but usually, from her study of people, the a**hole side usually has some looming past of some sort.
"A simple tug and push woulda been dandy."

"Yeah, guess I am an a**hole, maybe I shouldve just let you die. Im going to the Raccoon City Hospital." Without raising his voice in anger, Logan walked out from the diner via back entrance, and then continued down the allyway. This was a complete waste of his time, maybe he shouldve just stayed with Lisa, worry about himself and his own sister. Dealing with children apparently did nothing for him except slow him down. If Clarissa wants to act like an adult and get away with that kind of an attitude, then she could survive just fine on her own all along.
Logan had something to take care of, and with or without anybodies help, he intended to make sure it was done. As he walked down the street, there was three infected scattered around, be he could just move past them without any problems. The odd one he felt the need to kick away and go on at a faster pace to make sure they didnt catch up.

Clarissa watched Logan go off like a ticking bomb waiting to explode. Maybe she was being a bit harsh, but then again, so was he. She listened to him say something about letting her die, and she felt her anger boil inside of her. She could've gotten out of the situations on her own had he not been there in those specific times to speed things up.
She contemplated several things before hearing that all too familiar roar. It sounded closer than it was earlier. It was decided, it was time to leave. Adjusting the backpack straps on her shoulders, she made a run for it in the direction Logan had gone. She didn't plan on following him, but she still needed the hospital and that f**king lion was waiting around somewhere anyway.
Outside, however, a large figure had clawed and climbed through a wooden gate in the main concourse and had come bursting through the opened gates of the zoo. It was a lioness, a big, hungry, lioness with chunks of missing flesh and hanging meat on it's lean body. It snarled, exposing it's long, jagged, and probably very painful teeth. Setting it's sights on the man ahead, it trampled through the mess of undead, lunging out at him, claws sticking out of it's massive paws.
Clarissa had exited the diner when she watched the lioness leap after Logan. She jerked her head back and clenched her teeth. "f**k that!" she said, going to turn on her heel before that nasty bit of morality kicked her in the rear. She couldn't just let someone die like that. Sure he was a douche but he was still a human being. That and she didn't really get to say thank you for the save. Even though he didn't deserve it all too much.
"God damn it. Logan!" she yelled.

Hearing the girl Clarissa yell out, Logan turned back to her direction in time so see the beast lunging forward. With a quick roll, he dodged to the ground, but it still lept onto him with its heavy weight. Regardless, he used his knee to kick the lioness off and off to the side. With the same motion, he pulled a knife from his pant leg, and jammed it onto the creatures side. Hearing it roar out in pain, Logan jumped onto his feet, but was knocked back down again, and the knife rolled out of his reach. Quickly making a move, he pulled out the last few shots with his revolver on it, managing to keep it back while he got back to his feet again. Looking at the knife from the corner of his eye, Logan could sense some intelligence in her, keeping her distance, but inching forward as he moved toward the blade.

A few shots had rung off, striking the lioness in her side twice, once in her jaw and another time in her rear. It roared out, batting it's large paw around, whipping it's attention to the attacker. Clarissa had stood a few feet away, feet spread apart and firmly down on the ground, her aim was fixed on it's head when she squoze the trigger.
Click. Click. Click.
The damn gun was empty. She swore and tried going for her bag but the lioness had swung her paws at Logan, throwing him back and making a run for the girl. Clarissa looked up and spun on her heel, running the opposite direction. She panted and pumped her arms, glancing over at some trashcans and crates against the zoo walls.
She charged at them, leapt up, the tips of her toes grasping onto the edges, jumped up on another trashcan, then some stacked crates that dwindled back and fourth with her weight. She took one more jump, raising her arms up and catching the edge of the brick gate, pulling herself up and kicking her feet back to knock the crates over onto the trashcans.
She crouched down on the bricks and tried making it across to Logan, the lioness pouncing up and down, slashing at the bricks to get to her. It roared out, blood oozing from the wounds she and Logan had created. When she pulled her last magazine out of the side pockets, she quickly reloaded and tossed the gun at Logan when the lioness, knocked her off onto the other side of the gates. She landed in some bushes at that point.
"Use my gun!"

Logan was back down the ground when he heard Clarissa running for the beast. Taking the opportunity to get onto the his feet, he circled around the conchorus, making sure he wouldnt have his back to a corner if the creature came at him again. But as it knocked Clarissa over the fence, Logan rushed for the gun which had been thrown, and picked it up seconds after it hit. It was a pretty standard handgun, automatic, and with a fresh magazine inside.
As the wild cat prowled toward him, Logan aimed the gun forward. His technique wasnt that of a soldiers, but he had more then enough experience with firearms to get an accurate shot off. Pulling the trigger three times, whiling holding the gun on an angel, he managed to score three direct hits in the neck and upper chest area of the lioness. As it began to run straight, Logan aimed lower, sending another few rounds into his legs, tripping it onto the ground and sliding to a stop. It couldnt stand back up, its front legs had been crippled beyond the point of walking, even crawling. Standing just out of clawing reach of the beast, Logan was only tormenting it to the point of pure rage. With a single shot at close range, he fired a round into his head, stopping all signs of life in a heartbeat. Checking over the fence, Logan held the gun in his palm, watching Clarissa walk over to his locaton. "If were both going to the same place, why dont we work together...?"
This wasnt Logan thinking about the girl, this was Logan thinking about Rey. Sure, he could just walk away right now, and not tell Joey or the others about his encounter. But what would he have to gain? The group would gain, knowing that there were still people roaming around the streets alone in Raccoon City. Maybe this could be his way of making up for all the bad things hes done. Going to the Hospital to check on Rey was the nicest thing hes ever done for somebody, and only because it was Joey that Logan followed through with it. If it was anyone else, he wouldve just let them suffer.

Clarissa took her gun back and holstered it at her hip, pulling her top over it again. She listened to Logan's proposal as she walked back through the metal gates, that were busted open as of now. Catching up to the old man, she nodded a bit. It probably was the smart thing to join forces for a little while. So long as he'd stop being an a**hole and that was gonna happen whether he liked it or not.
Deciding to keep that to herself, she put her hand out to him, outstretching her arm. "Alright then. Partners?" she asked, giving him a lop-sided grin. He tilted his head at her hand and started walking the other way. Clarissa groaned and ran a hand through her bangs, muttering several explicitives in return.
"Partners," she answered for him, following close behind. She sighed inwardly and glanced down at the broken roads, wondering just what the hell his problem was. It seemed like every single survivor she's met so far had been a total psycho or just a f**king prick.
Save for my dad and him atleast... she thought to herself, thinking about the other person she'd met weeks ago before they were separated. Maybe he was still alive and maybe she'd cross paths with him again. Him or her father. That would be great. For now though, she was stuck with grumpy Logan.
She looked back up and jogged up to his side. "You know, if you're going to accompany me, it wouldn't hurt to talk a bit. Tell me about yourself. Might make you feel better."
That said, the duo had walked further away from the zoo and headed some further uptown of Raccoon City where the hospital should be.
[Clarissa and Logan have left the zoo]

[Starting a new one, not branching off the last post]
Crap
Anna was never good with being alone in the first place. She probably hated it more when she was in a zombie infected area. No, she definitely hated it more. She looked around, trying not to panic, and looked around. Guess this must have been some kind of zoo, or something... She walked through the main gate and looked around. The place was totally trash, and abandoned. She slowly looked into one cage, out of curiosity. It looked like maybe one of the only places that hadn't been totally wrecked in this place. She turned around, and made sure no one was watching her, and sat down slowly on the edge of it.
How could they have forgotten me! She screamed silently. I mean, I'm quiet, but not that quiet! She took out her walkie talkie, which was completely dead, of course. She took the cover off, and took out the useless double a batteries that were sitting inside. She put them away, hidden in the depths of her pocket. She didn't understand why they could have forgotten her, or how she could have gotten separated in the first place. She was usually up everyone's ass anyway. She felt so stupid for letting everyone out of her sight. Well, no use of sitting here waiting for something to find me, she stood up and got herself together. She turned around for a split second to pick up her gun, then she heard a long quiet growl that startled her nerves. She slowly turned back around, and saw a lion. But it wasn't just a lion. It was different. Probably infected. If she couldn't kill this thing with 15 bullets, she was screwed. She raised her gun as fast as she could without startling it even more...
If there is a God, send someone to help me, Please!

Light clack noises filled the air as a tall well proportioned woman made her way through the wreckage which was once called a zoo. Her heel's grazing against concrete and debris. It had to of been at least 4 months since she returned to Raccoon City. The start of it all, and having been here so long, she slowly began forgetting her reason for coming here in the first place.
Supply's where slowly starting to run low. With many stores and marts already looted, she found herself now in a Zoo looking for simple things to get her though the week. How pathetic. Though it was dangerous, she didn't have any problems roaming around the infected streets, in fact It was all to easy for her. She kept silent, and listened out, making sure to use her gun only on occations. One would think she had been trained to battle the infected from the beginning. Whether that accusation would be true or not would probably remain a secret.
As low grunt and growl noises made there way to her ear, the woman stopped moving. Those blue hues looking slowly for the source. It wasn't long until she found the owner of those deadly noises. An infected lion who, had it's gaze fixated on a lone Soldier. '.....Army huh?' she thought to herself, but it was rare that a soldier would be out alone, even if it was recon. She glanced around, no signs of a back-up team. She made her way closer silently so as to not attract the beast of an infected.
She didn't know why she did it. Lucrecia was slowly becoming content with her solitude. Perhaps she was indeed getting lonely, or maybe some bone in her body told her to play hero, but this woman did something which would usually never occur. Help out someone not related to her in any way or form. Quickly as she broke out in to a sprint, her hand first let go a small blade from her finger tips, aimed for the beasts cranium. Her fingers quickly clutching the handle of her gun as the trigger was pulled, once, twice, three times with well trained accuracy.
