Most of this is in flames due to a massive explosion that rocked the underground area. All the dogs in the kennels were torched and killed as well as the prisoners in the jail cells. All the cars in the garage area are either destroyed or in flames. The morgue and the weaponry storage area are still in tact, but everything else lies in shambles. If someone were to manage to get the fire out, the other doors would be able to be approached safely. There's a solitary manhole in the kennel that leads to the sewers, but it's not too safe to head in there alone. As a matter of fact, it's not safe anywhere alone...

The heat of the flames reached Faith before she actually saw the fire. It was going to be a b*tch to navigate through them, but it was a necessary risk she had to take to avoid running out of ammunition. She looked down the hall, and instantly became extremely depressed. The door she needed was completely covered in flames. She felt like crying, but everything she had seen over the past few years had completely closed her tear ducts, she honestly didn't think it was possible for her to cry anymore.
She decided to look for a fire extinguisher; she would be happy with finding a half-empty fire extinguisher, as long as she could put out the fire in front of the armory, she would be fine, as long as the card reader was deactivated that is. Walking down the hall she saw a flash of something red and ran to it. It was a key card, but it obviously didn't open anything in the police station, so she chunked it in her backpack and kept searching through piles of junk, the piles that weren't on fire anyway.
She finally found one, but she thought it was empty, but she tried it anyway. She felt happiness and then more depression as she put the fire out and realized the card reader was still active. She threw the extinguisher at the wall and then stormed back up the stairs, determined to find a card one way or another. (Faith is headed to the Chief's Office.)

Having entered the RCPD area, the boy would keep his Colt drawn. The underground was lit in areas with fire. Others with piles of rubble and junk. But his goal wasn't this. In underground parking garages, there were elevators and doors that led to places that were on that level. A car was not his main focus, although it would be very nice. Walking through the garage with his flashlight drawn, not looking at anything but infront of him. When he approached the assumed broken elevator, Chad would look to the left to see a Reinforced Metal Door.
"If you want to go look for a car, here's my Flashlight," Chad said outstretching his arm that held it, "I'm going to be trying this dor. I believe it's the armory." [/blockquote]

Angela looked down at the flashlight and took it with shaky hands. She needed to pull herself together. "Alright," she said as cooly as she could before flashing the light around the dark, dank, garage. She walked about, aiming her gun with one hand and her flashlight with the other. Embarassingly enough, she'd seen it in a movie...It proved useful though!
The black haired woman took careful steps around, shining the flashlight around at the vehicles. It didn't look like anyone even attempted to flee...How bizarre. She peered inside a few windows and smiled happily as she recognized aweapon in the backseat of a squad car. She shone the light back at Chad and called out.
"Chad! There's a weapon with a duffel bag inside the backseat here!"

"Break the window. If the alarm comes on, then we've got ourselves a working car. And please make sure you don't drop the gun if something jumps out. That won't turn out well."
And with that, he would turn to the keypad and hand access pad. Aiming his gun dead at it, he would pull the trigger twice, destroying it and disabling it. Grabbing the door handle, he would pull the door open. Heavy. Stepping in, the room was flickering with light. He would pick up the room. Guns were missing, but that was kind of typical in a Police Department. For handguns, Smith & Wesson Militay & Police Semi Automatics. Shotguns were FN Tactical Police Shotgun. Rifles, Bushmaster Optic Ready Carbines. Great guns. And there was ammo to boot. So, equipping himself with a Shoulder Holster and place two guns in the holsters. He already had one sling for his overly large .50 Caliber. Grabbing one FN, and another Pistol, Chad would exit the room.
"We have weapons, and we have snacks." [/blockquote]

Outside, Angela looked around for something to break the window with. Unfortunately all that she could find were cones. Looking back at the window she sighed and covered her face in her upper arm before slamming her gun repeatedly into the window. Eventually the alarm started to sound, emitting a loud blast of noise.
The window chipped and cracked until eventually it couldn't take the violence anymore and shattered. She reached in, grasped onto the little lock and unlocked it. Pulling open the door, she grasped onto the handgun and dug through the duffel bag. Inside was a belt with storage pouches on them. Two of which carried magazines for the gun, the bigger one towards the back had a red cross.
"First aid...Nice," she murmured. She clipped the beltaround her waist and dug throughthe bag to find five waterbottles, a bottle of vodka, and what looked like cans of food.

Hearing the window blasted in, Chad would approach her Shotgun and Handgun in hand. Watching the first aid kit and the water stuff leave the car, the boy would put both shotguns, the one strapped and the one in hand, in the back of the squad car.
"If you want to go to the morgue and find some more medical, I'll wait here. And here, take this," Chad would hand the gun to Angela, "Better two three than one."
Also sitting his .50 Cal back there, the boy would get into the driver seat and see the keys right on the front console!
"I'll stay hear and guard while I wait," Chad said, "The morgue is, I think the door on the right of the elevator." [/blockquote]

Unfortunately enough, time was running out for the two lone survivors.
Heavy, gray smoke began to billow forth from the burning cars, floating upwards in the air like snakes, threatning to cover the entire underground facility in a blanket of deadly carbon monoxide. It was getting harder to breath now, and with each minute passing by, the two survivors were starting to run out of air to breath.

Angela nodded and started away from the car. Once she smelled the air, she gaggedand coughed, covering her face. "What the hell?!cough cough My eyes...Ow!" she yelled, rubbing her eyes and feeling her head spin.
She wobbled side to side and grasped onto a pillar, to avoid falling over. "We have to go. No time to search for more medical kits!"

He himself couldn't breath as well. Well, it was hard to, yet possible. Shoving the keys into the ignition then opening the passenger door, the boy would put it in reverse and floor it. Actually, he had almost hit the column. Braking right before he connected, he would scream it to the heavens with his serious tone.
"Get In."
Already putting the gear shift back into Drive, he would be ready to put his foot to sleep on the gas. As soon as she got in, they would be out of there like Ellen out of the closet. Black smoke was filling the garage faster then fast.
"Hurry." [/blockquote]

(OOC: Lol. Take note... Carbon Monoxide is not nerve gas. Rather the byproduct of smoke which is often mixed with whatever is burning. Like for instance, Rubber, coming from the tires that are probably melted by the heat along with other chemicals (you won't believe the stuff needed today to make cars)

Angela jumped into the car, slamming the door shut. She grimaced when she felt pricked all over her back and arms. She must've forgotten she'd busted the window in. Coughing and rubbing at her sore eyes still, she manage to cough out, "Go! Go!"

"Don't have to tell me twice."
Letting his foot fall asleep on the gas, the boy would take the wheel by the reigns and zip on out of the Underground. Uncool. From behind, smoke and fire would exit behind him. Whipping around the gates and out of this area, Chad would speak, coughing before he did so.
"We're headed to East Side."
And all the while they drove, the crows would follow howling as they fluttered through the sky. They weren't going to be a good omen for anything. [/blockquote]

Angela sat up, picking a little pieces of glass out of her. She hissed a little and rubbed at sorespots before sighing. She looked over her shoulder to see the RPD had gotten smaller and smaller in distance. The woman then looked up ahead again and reached over to the front seats, climbing over and propping herself into the passenger side.
Still rubbing her punctured arms, she looked over at Chad. "Where in the East side?" she asked, curiously.

"From what I know, there is a Hardware store and Pharmacy up there. We can hit that up, grab what we can and dip. Then hit the Pharmacy for medic supplies. After which, we can do one of two things," Chad would think these two things over while avoiding debacles in the road, "Become a roving mob, terrorizing. Or set down, create a base and collect more survivors."
And as these continued this conversation, the would enter the east side area. Driving on the road, occasionally clipping the wayward undead. But in the back of his mind, he wondered: How Much of a Help Angela would be. For now though, he'd have to deal with the comrade he was given.
[exit to EASTSIDE.] [/blockquote]
