Here sit’s the Statue of Liberty. “Give us your poor, your tired, your sick” it says. But, this place has become a breeding ground for the infection after a few carriers turned in the middle of a refugee camp stationed here. Undead swarm all over the island, seemingly looking for a way off to get to some fresh meat.

Alisa, Inna, and a few other survivors survived the boat incident, they were now trapped on the island, unable to leave at the moment. The group was stuck here, they would need to survive and find a way to make it off the island. Alisa and Inna, a man named James Manson, and a woman named Willy Ingus were with them, the four would need to work together if they were to leave. Alisa and Inna's phones were their only hopes of leaving the island. They had no connection at the moment, but maybe, just maybe if they got to the liberty statue's communications dish, they could increase their range, and hopefully find a working signal. If they did this possibilities of getting a rescue could be possible. Alisa waited for responses, everyone gave their nods and such. The plan would be to get to the top of liberty statue. "Lets move out..."
"Okay, I have a plan, we could attempt to get to the top of liberty statue and use the communications dish to increase the range of mine and my sisters cellphones, that way we could possibily get a rescue operation to be placed, thus giving us a way to leave." Alisa said this sternly, but kept quiet, hopefully the zombies wouldn't notice their presence for a while, and they would be able to have some moments of peace. As Alisa and Inna, along with the others had some peace and rested they were ambushed by a horde of zombies they attempted to take them down, but were overwhelmed, thus being killed sadly this was the death of Ms. Nazarov and many other survivors, their story not continuing as through a normal life.
ALISA NAZAROV IS DEAD.

[Anna and company have "docked" on Ellis Island]
The waters were choppy and rough, throwing the boat around in the waters, violently. Luckily there were railing that could be gripped on to keep from being thrown overboard. The storm didn't help any and the hard, freezing rain had pounded ontop of the four survivors as they rocked back and fourth with the boat.
Anna, whom was among the four, had shivered and grimaced as she tried to steal a glance of the reamining others. One man was wounded, leg broken and his wife had been cradled by him with one arm as he held onto the railing with the other.
There was another person as well, but they must have been further in the boat because she couldn't see them at the moment. Hopefully they were safe somewhere. The heavy jerking of the boat had made Anna's stomach turn and if she wasn't too busy trying not to smash her head in on the floor, she'd be heaving up something ugly.
"We're gonna die!" the wife screamed in tears as her husband held her close to console her.
"We're fine! We're gonna be alright!" Anna yelled out over the howling winds. The woman steadily screamed and before Anna could even tell her to shut the hell up, she heard the creaking of the boat's bow and then there was a loud crash, throwing the survivors about and sending Anna off balance and tumbling onto the other side of the boat, nearly slipping under the railings and careening into the frgid waters.
She'd swore and grasped onto the railings and stared down at the dark water, shuddering at the idea of falling out.
"What the hell just happened...?!" the man yelled.

Toward the aft end of the small sea trawler sat a lithe figure hurrying tying her hair up with her scarf with her cheeks feverishly puffed open; it would have looked comical had what came up afterward not appeared so revolting. Over and over she asked herself how she had ended up here, on a boat, her least favorite method of transportation. A plane plummeting out of the sky she could do, but this? Alex's entire body trembled, out of the four of them she had been the least accepting of having to hop aboard; there were just too many zombies. Of all the places for her to land the chopper she picked New York, after only narrowly escaping Raccoon City; another fight for survival it seemed, "Can't get a break," wiping her brown glove across her cheek. Quite zombapocalypse authentic how this merry band of sea fairers ended up together; 'split second' summed it up well. Alex only remembered the name of one of the others; 'Anna' if memory served well-done over rare. Sudden impact gave the lithe girl's stomach several billion twists before playing it like a harpsichord, "Mnnngh!" barely reaching the side of the boat in time while still keeping her feet locked firmly in place from the immediate flailing, "Hoh man... I mean it. I have nothing left to throw up," ragdolling onto the deck. "What the hell just happened...?!" "Uhhh," lying on her back with a slight aura of disbelief. Alex's eyes met the cold stare of a bronze giant; not entirely visible through the fog, her figure gave it away, "Land Hoe?" she pointed whether or not anyone gave attention. A wet feeling surround the jaded girl's hands, feet and tail feather, "Gah!" sitting up to see the trawler taking on water, "Bags not being Captain!"

"Bags not being captain!"
Anna had struggled to stand up and sloppy as her footing was, she was slipping all over water that the deck had taken up thanks to several recent holes from the crash. When she'd heard the woman's voice, she knew she was alright but the other two looked pretty stirred up. Glancing up at the massive sihlouette curtained by thick fog, she knew immediately where they were.
"You have to be f**king s***ting me," she said, glancing upward. The boat had gently nulled back and fourth as the waved pushed it up against the island piers. Anna could faintly make out what looked like an older crash site of yet another boat, slight smaller than the one they'd occupied.
Either way, this boat was sinking, it was time to get the hell off. Moving over, she'd grasped onto the man's arm and helped him to his feet as did his wife. She glanced over at the other individual, Alex.
"C'mon, let's jump ship!" she told her as they'd tried to hurry their way off the newly formed death trap.

Anna cursing seemed a little uncouth on her own ears, "Is it really that bad?" Alex asked honestly before taking a moment to think, looking back at the statue, and then it sank in.
All puns pardoned, she clutched her head in vein of where they were, "Nghoo gaahhd!" to Alex, islands were like bathtubs with a cage over the top, and she were the cat stuck inside.
The redhead suggested they evacuate, water already up to Alex's shins by the time she came around to recall they were sinking, "Dandy!" the girl replied, joining the three survivors as they jumped land side. She wrapped her arm around the wife helping to climb up onto the dock, the trawler just losing level as her boot left the railing. The wet girl lost balance for a fleeting second on the edge of the planks, just managing to stabilize.
"Everyo- everybo-" worried speaking would sap the last breath of air from her lungs, "All accounted for?" Alex called, taking a deep breath in before counting them all off, "One, two. Three," yeah, they were all here, "Phew..."
Lashing ocean sprayed misted salt water at them. Alex untied her hair, wrapping the scarf around her mouth, "C'mon folks, s'get away from the water. A cold aint what the doctor ordered,"

When the wife, Elizabeth, had been helped onto the docks by Alex, she's thanked her with a nod and together, Alex and Elizabeth hoisted her husband, Keith, up onto the rickety planks of wood as well. Anna has been looking around, grasping onto the old shotgun rather tightly. She'd been checking it previously, ensuring the water hadn't damaged it, but it seemed to still be in working condition.
As for their situation on the island, this was going to be hell to figure a way off. By the looks of the other boat, there may have been survivors, possibly. Either way, Anna had been here once before and she knew there was a museum up ahead, under the statue, so they'd have to make their way there to take refuge from the weather. Hopefully the other survivors weren't psycho like everyone else left in New York.
Alex had mentioned that they hadn't needed to catch a cold anytime soon and she couldn't agree more. Without much further ado, she followed the three and kept her eyes peeled for anything that moved.
"Alright, I guess we make it to the middle of the island, the museum is there, we can stay there until we figure out what to do...without food or water..." she thought about that momentarily and realized how painfully ironic that was considering they were surrounded by an ocean.
"Oh...yeah. Well, water we can actually drink," she quickly mentioned afterwards.

"I don't want anything to do with water for a couple of decades," Alex replied, snapping the pin off her sidearm's holster and pulling the Browning free. It felt warm in her hands compared to the cold surrounding all of the survivors, it felt like ice was forming on the tip of her nose. Now and again rain would pick up from a drizzle to bleeding down. All of the elements were against them.
Heading down the dock; tourist gates blocked the pier from the rest of the island, currently closed to general public apparently. Alex wrapped on gloved hand around a horizontal bar, looking at the structure, and gave a sharp tug, "Ow," squinting in pain, "Think I pulled something," while the gate hadn't budged an inch.
It was possible to climb over or around, but there was always the possibility of a misstep, and Alex didn't want herself or any of the others to break an arm or leg, "Just give me a tick," her muffled voice rattled behind her scarf, "I'll find us a way in," breaking and entering into somewhere you didn't want to be?
'Not what I want to be doing,' the pale girl through to herself, gritting her teeth and groaning as she reached through the small square hole of the ticket hut, waving her hand furiously to hit the shiney red button with 'Entrance' written over it.
BWAAAAAARRRRRRRRR
Whole - body- frozen. Straight after hitting the button a horn had flared up and all of the gates rattled open. Not just a little 'creak' open either, like a full on jubilee of metal was dropped into a blender the size of something really big. Alex waited, arm still stuck through the hole, eyes wider than a slow loris as she waited for something bad to happen.
When crashing waves and pounding rain were all that was to be heard Alex relaxed, "Okay folks, quick," for some bizarre reason flashes from the film 'Jurassic Park' moved through her head as the girl stepped across the threshold and into Ellis Island.

The mixture of thunder, hard rain and grating of the entrance had been enough to create a splitting headache for poor Agent McGraw, which it did, combined with being cold and wet, then a boat crash, this had to have been the worst day ever. The couple limped on through the gates, looking around furiously, to ensure they weren't in any peril.
Alex took on the front of the group and Anna stayed in back, shotgun still in her grasp. As they moved almost a foot away from the entrance, they began to scream again, closing behind them automatically. This action forced the group to spin about on heel to see it latch shut.
"How appropriately eerie," Anna said, before managing to tear her gaze off of the old, blood stained entrance. As the group moved on, the trees ahead began to ruffle but thanks to the weather, it was damn near impossible to hear it or see anything. Flocks of crows had gathered on the island and with their hearing, it was certain that food was near by. The grinding of the gates helped alarm the predators that food was on the way.
Anna groaned. "Hey Al, do you see any buildings yet? I'm freezing my nuts off out here. Well, if I had any, that is," she hollered over the crashing rain with a light chuckle. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and her husband shared an amused laugh with her.

"Yeah... something-" squinting through the hard fall, Alex could make out a building further ahead from them nestled amongst fields of green, and slightly overgrown from lack of upkeep, grass. Her eyes were probably playing tricks, she could have sworn she spotted movement, "Something over here."Alex could feel it now; not long after the gates had shut on them; the same feeling she got after getting stuck in Raccoon for weeks. Their own personal deathtrap dungeon; every time you got close to freedom you were quickly pushed back to the beginning, doing everything over again. It was enough to give her an emotional breakdown; the rain probably washed away any tears, she couldn't tell. "Just hold here for a sec, kay?" she asked after they finally made it over the green grassy opening, a shiver in her voice being the testament of just how frozen to the bone they would all be. It was a single story building, fairly broad; most of the signage suggested towards shops of some kind, probably cafes and a bakery somewhere else. It acted almost like a town square; quaint stone alleys passed between each shop heading into the centre, covered by a roof. Then once you reached the centre the roof opened up to the sky again, an overflowing fountain sitting centre stage. The place was fairly devoid of mess besides cafe tables and chairs being overturned, "Watch your step on the way in," Alex warned after returning down one of the alleys, the water from the overflowing fountain cascading across the stone paths; even the brass drains couldn't stop the streams. Once finally out of the rain Alex pulled her scarf from her face down around her neck, "Couple of cafes. There's gotta be something to eat around here. Think I spotted a vendor in one of the souvenir stores," the girl's chattering teeth caused her to hug herself, regretting choosing open sleeves as she ran a little friction up her arms, "Charlsing for some BBQ crisps. We should all keep close together though."

Upon entering the square, Anna and the others had found comfort beneath the nearby canopy of a shop. She'd pressed her forehead against the glass and noticed nothing inside. It was completely empty and void of any items, must have been looted. It'd make for a good place to sit and rest though, it was dry and had some old curtains to keep warm. There were no back doors and if anything needed to come in, then it'd have to be through the front.
As Alex mentioned finding something to eat, she'd glanced back at her.
"Sounds good to me...er, but what the hell are BBQ crisps? Sounds like burnt 'Q if ya ask me," she told Alex, placing her hand on her hip and leaning her shotgun barrel against her shoulder in the other hand.
Keith, in the mean time, didn't look so good. He was shivering worst than they and his eyes were glazed over. He didn't look like he was gonna make it any further.

"Crisps," Alex said again, giving Anna a bit of a bewildered stare when it still didn't register, "Y'know, crinkle cut potato chips. Original, Chicken, Cheese & Onion?" surely she couldn't have spent that much time in the UK, "My fave is Barbecue, hands down," she peeked through the window the redhead had previously been looking through, "Cosy."
"Get everyone inside, Anna. Make sure the place is clear. I'm just heading over the way to grab some munchies," Alex pointed towards the other side of the square.
Stepping back out into the rain, the pale girl crossed around the fountain, Browning low and in front, "Vendor-vendor-vendor... ah," suspicious glow from a food store gave away the food dispensers position. Alex pushed into the narrow shop, only one aisle of consumables to account for; a look over the counter showed no zombies waited for her.
It must have had its own power source, the light were dim at that. Front window had been shattered for whoever wanted junk food before them, but they had been thoughtful enough to leave some left over. Alex grabbed a plastic bag, shoving some packets in. Another look around found some tinned good, spaghetti, baked beans. Ramen, "Boy oh boy," no means to cook them, but they'd always gone down better raw with Alex.

"We're in the U.S. You're in the U.S. They're called chips here, dammit," Anna said trying to supress any sort of laughter that attempted to escape. Either way, she'd grasped onto Keith and helped pull the man into the store. When they safely placed him in the furthest corner in the back, she'd pushed her shotgun back over her shoulder and moved on toward the only, one, single, door on the opposite side of the inner, west wall.
There was this slight, scratching noise coming from behind it, which was very unsettling. It wasn't violent and there weren't any moans, so what the hell was it? Shivering at the thought of opening it, she motioned for Elizabeth to keep quiet and stay back.
She'd pulled her side arm out and hesitantly reached for the door knob. Carefully turning it, it stopped. Damn door was locked. Frowning, Anna kicked at the door and glared. "Sonuva b*tch. Damn doors locked, what's up with that?" she growled.
Keith began to grunt and groan in pain, grasping at his leg. Elizabeth frowned and squoze his shoulder before looking back at Anna. "Anna...?"
"Anyone in there? Hello? Hellooo?" she griped, knocking. The scratching had became a bit more intense.
"Anna, Keith is in pain."
The redhead had glared and kicked at it again. "Fine, f**k you then! f**king door."
"ANNA!"
"WHAT?!" Anna yelled, throwing another glare but at the woman, frustrated about their situation and the damn door.
"Anna, Keith is in pain, we don't have anymore painkillers, what do we do?!" she panicked, holding her husband who was sweating profusely. Anna sighed and holstered her gun, the scratching on the door becoming more imminent.
"I'll go search for something. You know how to use a gun, right?" she asked.
Elizabeth frowned. "Kinda. My dad used to hunt...why?"
Anna smirked and handed her her handgun. "Alright here, I'll go make a run, search for some meds. If Alex comes back, tell her where I am."
"Uh, er, alright..."
With that, Anna had left the shop, shutting the door behind her and looked to the side a bit upon hearing the sound of the door being locked. Nodding a bit, she looked over the entire square. Had to be something left to treat Keith's leg.

Emerging from the food store triumphant, lollipop sticking out of her mouth. Alex crossed back over the square with her bag full of non-perishables, hand held over head to mask the downpour; it felt as if the place were slowly beginning to sink into water.
The door to their hideout was locked; Alex peeked in again spotting Elizabeth, she knocked politely on the glass, "Hey. Got some food. Couple'a different things if you don't like the junk variety," she said upon entering, "Where'd Anne get to?"
"Went to find something for Keith's injury," Elizabeth answered.
Alex looked over to the wounded man after approaching the shop bench, taking each item of food out and propping them up, "Y'all right down there chief?" she asked in a comrade manner.
"Leg's killin' me. Cold as sh*t. Rainin' outside. Never better." he bit back with a grimace.
"Good'o. Keep up that positive thinking, champ. You get first dibs when it comes to dinner time," Alex slid the only packet of BBQ chips behind the counter.
Returning to the door. Alex stood watch, keeping an eye on the village centre while waiting for Anna to return, 'I hope she doesn't wander too far,' the pale girl reassured herself. Being alone... it wasn't something she wanted anyone to experience on a place like this. The thought itself only cause to make her worry.

Anna moved on through the centre square, passing a few of the shops when she'd came across three corpses lying in on the icey pavement. Since it was probably below 0 here and the rain was beginning to turn into a light flurry, the cement was glazed in thin layer of ice. This meant that the corpses seemed to have been completely frozen by now.
Nudging one with her foot, it's flesh was hard, green with blue lips and it didn't smell. Probably because it was frozen, either way, it was quite the sight to see. Also worth noting that they had what look like chunks of flesh missing from their faces, throats and limbs.
Anna narrowed her eyes and as a harsh gust of wind sent another chill down her spine, she'd heard a loud screech. More like a loud 'caw'. Peering further away, there seemed to have been another corpse but with a black bird perched on it's chest, digging at it with it's sharp beak.
Multiple caws had echoed around her and looking upward, she'd seen several birds looking over her from above, she moved her glance around her area and saw them lined up on shops, tables and benches, all of them staring at her through beedy eyes.
"s***," she said raspily as she slowly stood up, careful not to make any sudden movements.
