A large pond in Stoneville that is called a lake. Before the outbreak, it was used for swimming and barbeques. Now the undead are surrounding the place.

Shadow Blade walked along the lake, with the cold water on his feet and the distant moaning around the lake. It had been a hard few years for him. Barely avoiding the cleanup crews as they decimated all of the T-virus infected creatures. For around three years, he spent most of his time walking in the forests in America, staying far away from any civilised areas while hunting wild prey, eating food and drinking water to survive.
Things almost seemed peaceful for him, soon finding a old hut in the middle of nowhere that he called home. That was untill he heard the first moaning in years. Now he has to continualy run from place to place, attempting to get far away from the mindless mosters as he could.
Now finding himself at a lake near a town, Shadow Blade wondered if there was anywhere here that was safe for him. But he knew that nobody would ever think of him as friendly, expecially since he was a large monstrosity that would kill anyone if he started loseing it. With a simple grunt, he sat down and listened to the sound of the lake and the zombies that moaned around it.

Hazel arrived at Stoneville Lake there was a certain B.O.W. that she had interest in, she wanted a sample of it's tissue or blood, she had arrived by helicopter around the Lake area of Stoneville, the lake was most likely less populated with zombies than that of the city, her coordinates with the satillite tracking system had pointed that the B.O.W. known as shadow blade resided within Stoneville, hopefully it wouldn't take too long to get a sample. She had no intention of killing the beast just wounding it and taking a sample of it's genetic build up this would increase and help the research of their organization, Hazel began walking along the lake, she had taken an additional weapon with her, an actual survival weapon, usually she carried around spy weapons such as a silent pistol and such, but this time she brought a shotgun instead, this would prove more useful in taking a chunk out of the thing.
"Hmm wonder where I could find this... Shadow Blade..." Hazel began to walk around her Remington 1100 in her hands she was ready to kick a**. Hazel hoped that she hadn't underestimated this dangerous B.O.W. things could easily turn from better to worse in a heart beat. The copter wouldn't return in another 9 hours or so, it would meet her at the lake at the same location, hopefully it wasn't too far. Hazel walked around checking the ground and such for footprints or such, she could hear moaning and the sound of zombies, but that wasn't what she was looking for, hopefully it might come to her?

Shadow blade looked up into the air as the sound of a helicopter echoed across the distance, he smelled danger would be coming to him, it wouldn't be the first time people tried to capture him. Standing up, he dashed to the woods. Hopefully he would find the human and make them the prey instead of the other way around.
Quietly rummaging through the forest, Shadow Blade saw a shadow in the distance, pressing a button in his visor, he had a look at the person through infra-red vision, seeing that it was a woman, he decided to try to scare her off. Leaving him alone.
Seeing a zombie walk along with what appeared to be a broken pipe impaled into it, Shadow blade had an Idea, walking towards the zombie, snapping its neck to make as little noise as possible, he then used the pipe to impale the now dead zombie to the tree and with a large screech, Shadow blade dashed away after spreading the zombies blood around the area. It should be more than a turn off for the person trying to hunt him down.

OOC: I give you permission to kill me, actually I'd like you to kill me in the next post, seriously kill Hazel k? Your allowed to auto hit her.
Hazel looked at the forest, she saw something move, it could be the Shadow Blade! Hazel had some cockyness she would catch it without fail or trouble, Hazel quicky ran toward the beast or whatever it was that was moving. Hazel ran crazily toward the place she had seen it, suddenly she watched and saw a dismembered and impaled zombie it scared the sh*t out of her, but soon enough she saw it was dead, Hazel kept running toward the beast and looked clearly seeing it. There it was, it looked stupid, yet strong, easy Hazel thought, but due to her thoughts it would be her death. Hazel soon enough began to shoot at the creature madly out in the open she looked at it, she would kill the beast if she needed, she just needed a sample.
Hazel had in some way gone crazy, mad, insane... Hazel knew her organization would soon go into flames, her sibling was in it! He knew everything she had discovered this only yesterday, she snooped around and such and found her communications experts true identity, she was now... crazy, her true intentions of going here, to die and add her body to the zombies and BOWS, the world could die for all she cared. Hazel watched as she fired, hopefully it would defeat her, she wasn't in the mood to shoot herself, she would much rather become infected or feed the monsters of Biohazard. Hazel's sanity died at this moment she watched the beast.
HAZEL YIN IS GOING TO DIE IN THE NEXT POST.

(OOC: ok then... one possibly horrific death comming up ) As the shots of Hazels bullets struck at Shadow Blades amour plated chest, he figured the bloddy zombie diddnt do the trick, so the yellow colour visor on his helmet soon glowed red, spines on his arms grew longer and razor sharp, and with a dash, the now bezerked Shadow Blade charged towards Hazel. Preparing to take her down with full fury. Reaching her, Shadow Blade grabbed hold of her neck, lifting her slightly in the air and slaming her to the ground. with a loud roar, Shadow blade continued attacking Hazel, grabbing her again while pulling out his sword, now aiming it directly towards her chest. He was a hunter at best, and he wanted to enjoy his prey as long as he could. (OOC: now its up to you how your character would like to be finished

(OOC: Nah you have fun, I wanna see what you make up for Hazel's death, for Hazel I don't care much, I want her to die how she well sort of deserves, she was sort of the bad guy here, but her history is kind of sad... but those who make B.O.W.s often get killed by them. You finish her off, but I'll post her last actions/etc. I'll miss Hazel, but she unlike Klara doesn't deserve a heroic death. Hazel deserves a gruesome death, but have some pity the womans gone through a lot...)
Hazel watched, her body ached, she was going to die... why must her life have ended this way, why would her own brother betray her, her only plans on living a successful life her parents had wanted since her birth, was now slowly washing away with her conciousness, she could feel the pain. In some way she had indeed suicided, she didn't care anymore really, but she had lost her family, been betrayed by it... and now she was no longer going to be a part of it. She had done many bad things in her life, drugs, alchohol, hacking, her childhood wasn't how it should've been... Her life was a mistake... Hazel began to cry a bit as she stood there lying on the ground, she dropped the gun within her hand pain within her body, would she die like this to a monster? No, she was in some sort the monster, she wanted to make things like this and get money, harm the lives of innocents. The thought that her organization would fall, well brightened her view, her death saved lives, even if they were lives she would be responsible of taking. Hazel gazed once again, this time smiling in some way... Happy she was dying, she was indeed going crazy, but at least her planned terror would be averted. Soon enough her life flashed through her mind, she knew she would die, she watched at childhood the moments she was innocent playing with her younger brother the two getting along fine, they had laughs, their family was happy. Hazels last words came from her mouth... "Well Mom, Dad, I'll be seeing you, hopefully, Unless I go the other way..."

"Mmm, dont you like this song, Zach? Its such a peaceful track. Really makes you think that none of this is actually happening. Do you remember who wrote it?" Edward sped along the highway in the black Mitsubishi, going as fast as the car would take him. He had finally gotten out of Raccoon City, and was now making his way to Stoneville to see if he cant find anymore clues to the outbreak. The radio was playing a loop of about fifteen songs on one of the local stations, he had heard them all before since turning the car on. "...Yeah, thats right, Kurt Cobain. I wonder if he actually did kill himself. Well, anyway, his band Nirvana definitly performed some pretty good hits way back in the nineties. Tracks like 'Come As You Are', and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' were always my favorite of that generation..."
Pulling out a pack of cigarettes from his front pocket, Edward bit one out of the box with his lips, holding it firmly in place while still balancing his hand on the wheel. Slipping it back inside, he reached in again to bring out the zippo lighter, flicking it several times over. But to no avail, a flame did not ignite. While paying attention to the lighter, there was a man on the road, and just as he noticed, Edward swerved out of the way to avoid hitting it. The car smashed through the old guard rail, and drove downhill. He rushed past trees and rocks, avoiding a crash for what seemed like pure like. The car finally hit a stump, and rolled over several times, landing on his back near the waters edge of Lake Trinity.
Open his eyes, Edward shook his head, brushing some of the glass out of his hair and suit. Undoing his seatbelt, he climbed out of the car through the passenger side, and rolled onto his stomach. Finally getting up to his feet, he breathed heavily, a little stressed out from the crash. Looking at the cliff side he had fell down, it was evident he was lucky to be alive. Pulling out a cigarette from his pocket, his put it in his mouth, and flicked the zippo lighter once again, this time the flame ignited perfectly. Staring at the flame, Edward lit his Cigarette, and then put it back in his pocket. It was starting to rain, he could feel light droplets on his suit. "...Zach, did I ever tell you that smoking is bad for your health? Well..." Taking a puff, Edward looked at the wrecked car with a grateful grin. Just then, he heard moaning coming from somewhere, pulling out his handgun, and aiming it in the general direction. "...This isnt good, Zach..."

"Gosh, I hate this place" Mercer was walking, more limping tired on the road nearby the lake Trinity. It used to be a beautiful place before the outbreak, now days the smell of decay fills the place, the undead crawling out the sandy bottom of the lake, trying to reach land once again, eager to eat human flesh. Mercer could feel it, the negative energy, it was disturbing. While searching himself for any cigarettes he could see a silhouette in the distance, it grew bigger. It wasn't a silhouette. It was a f**king car. In the blink of an eye the driver probably noted Mercer, he panicked and the car drifted downhill breaking everything ahead. "Oh f**k, why ?!" Mercer grabbed his AN-94 and raised it at eye level, looking for anything hostile that could make his life a hell.
He approached the edge of the hill and planned to slide down, the undead probably got alerted by the crash as they began to moan, one lone zombie without the lower body approached from the woods, crawling and clawing towards Mercer. Without hesitation he raised his boot and crashed the creature's head. The sound of the cracking jaw was horribly nice. Then he abruptly slided down the hill, trying to keep his stability on the front leg. Out of sudden the protection rail appeared out of nowhere, Mercer hitting it with his lower leg, falling over, heading head first towards the edge of the lake. With a loud tumble he reached the end. He opened his eyes and took a look at the man that just exited the car."Oy, are you okay ?" Said he still laying on the dirt. He then grabbed onto the wheel of the car to help himself to get up.

Flicking on an LED light on the pocket of his suit, Edward looked forward, trying to see whatever was coming toward him. But he didnt see anything, just heard the moaning and sloshing in the distance. "Zach, do you see anything? This is really giving me the creeps..." Walking forward, Edward heard the sound stop, as he didnt move in place anymore, scoping out the area with his light. "...It could be just my imagination, you didnt hear anything, did you Zach?" Pointing the light around some more, Edward gave up on looking for whatever made the noise. "...Of course you didnt hear anything, theres nothing even there. I hear those moans all the time, its embedded into my brain."
But suddenly, out came a voice, and a figure. It spoke out, asking if Edward was okay. Lowing his gun, he spoke out himself, in response to the mans question. "Yeah, im fine. But my car is... Well, you see..." Edward looked at the man, he was in a gas mask and a thick outfit of somekind, almost like a biohazzard suit. It was pretty fitting, black, right into the dark sky. "Zach, this guy looks pretty original, I should hold off on the jokes for now..." He whispered to himself. Unlike Edward, who was in a dark grey business suit. But it was what he wore on duty, and didnt have time to change since the outbreak. "...Crashed from up on the highway, heading into Stoneville. Do you know a way up?"

"Yes, I saw, that was a pretty rough crash. Also I have no idea, I've never visited this place before, beside around 15 years ago. Also, name is Mercer Johnatan, Captain of Navy, Squad 43. the sound was a bit muffled by the gas mask, but it was pretty clear to fig out what he meant. Mercer took the AN from the floor and whipped off the mud. The moan of the undying monsters was nearing, they were very eager to have their meal, maybe first meal in months. Few of the monstrosities stumbled down the hill, most of them wearing dark green shirts and shorts, probably campers, one of the zombies fell flat on his face, his backpack getting stuck by the cables on his head.
Mercer swung the butt of the rifle towards the head of one of the unlucky fella's. His jaw broke with a rough crack and flew in the nearby hill. The creature was still alive. It's tongue limping down it's neck swinging from side to side. Mercer showed the rifle barrel onto the creature's blasted hole, pulling the trigger. The zombie's back head broke into small pieces as the dark red blood combined with gray matter sprayed it's mattes in a explosion of gore. Mercer jumped on top of the ruined Mitsubishi. Aiming carefully for the heads of the remaining creatures.

Listening to the mans voice, Mercer was his name. He appeared to have a thick accent, but his english was very good, so Edward didnt ask where he was originally from. Not like it mattered. By this time, there was infected everywhere on the lakeside, and were onto their position. Edward back up to the car as Mercer jumped on on it, trying to get a vantage point. Edward reached in the back seat of the car to grab his shotgun, and then pulled out just in time to aim it at one of the infected that came. The zombies head exploded, but he was a little shocked when he didnt actually fire the shotgun. Mercer sniped the zombie in the head before he could pull the trigger, the shotgun was out of ammo.
"We should get out of her, duck around into those trees and come out on the other side of the lake." Edward ran from the infected, and into the woods, knowing Mercer would catch up with him as soon as he was done shooting. Huffing and puffing through the trees, Edward whipped branches out of his face, ducking and weaving around natural obsticles. "Whats that, Zach? Yeah, I think we should stick with the captain, too. He seems to be a little more prepared then we are, what with a military class assault rifle and all. He probably gets a kick out of shooting this zombies, so can we say he enjoys his job?" Edward spoke in a low voice, until arriving out into the open. There was a bit of land curving off into the water, and a boathouse. "Now what made you come up with that idea, Zach?" Edward said with a sarcastic tone, running toward the building.

"Oy, as soon as I finish this." Captain was quite sure that he could handle the zombie group, there were only 3 more. One of the zombies got closer to Mercer and tried to pull him off the car, instead the zombie got his arm mushed in a sauce of broken bones and skin tissue under the boots of Mercer. He then quickly proceed to swing his hunting knife into the skull of the mangled zombie, piercing the skull and the brain. Mercer took out his knife from the zombie's head and then began executing the rest. Precise shoot after shoot, the zombies fell on the grassy floor, lifeless. One of them was still alive, even with the ruptured head, the brain was still inside, Mercer took out his hunting knife and showed it deep into the brain."This is disgusting."
With his job finished Mercer followed the path to Edward, vaulting over dead trees and skipping through the ones that were still live. With a last leap, Mercer landed primo near Edward, and began scanning the area for any sociopath skin eating devil. The area was clear for now, visually. The moan of the infected could still be heard as an echo through the forest."So..." Mercer could see a small speed boat in the distance, it was in good shape...probably the user died before he could use it. Mercer slowly walked towards it, looking carefully for any sand trap, aka zombies buried in the sand.

"Alright Zach, look at this. A boat. I wonder if it could take us across the lake into town? Thats where we were heading, wasnt it? Yeah, it was. Im sure we can manage fine on own own, but I wonder if that other guy is doing alright. What was his name? Oh yeah, Mercer, Mercer Johnatan. Ive been thinking about the last name, Johnatan. Ive never heard of it before, could it be forigne? It would have to be, forigne, with that thick accent and all. It almost sounds like Jonathan, an engelish last name, establish in the western parts. Became very popular, makes you think of a villain from an old cartoon series, or something. Heh, but with the way Mercer is dressed, it seems he knows exactly what hes doing... Oh hey, here he comes."
Edward saw Mercer enter the scene behind him, seemed to be in perfectly good condition. No scratchs or anything, at least none that were visible. The way he said "So", it gave Edward the feeling like nothing fazed the man. Even after a deadly escape like that, still he moved on like nothing happened. Seeing the boat parked inside, Edward followed Mercer along the beach, watching where they stepped. Sure the light on his suit lit up in front of him, but anywhere else was still dark, aside from the moonlight and reflecting from the lake. Following Mercer onto the dock, he checked it for any fuel, seemed like it was empty judging by his reaction. "Mercer, I thought I seen another little cabin not too far down the beach. Maybe it houses some fuel for us to start up the boat..."
After Mercer left, Edward found a gas tank hidden behind some bouys up on the dock. Looking at the man making his way far down the beach, Edward almost seemed a little evil, unscrewing up the tank filling the motor up. Putting the remainder in the boat, Edward climbed inside, and started the motor up, reving it several time. "Zach, we have to decide between continuing on own own, or waiting for that guy Mercer to come back. Hed surely hear the motor either way, whatll it be, Zach?" Before he could drive the boat forward, Mercer jumped inside, and yelled out. "Didnt think you were leaving with me, did you? Lets go, theyre coming!" Edward grinned, and then jet the boat forward, across the lake.

After leaving the highway, the group had been speaking about where the older man was from, and how they had managed to stay alive this long. Arc never spoke to him directly, however, not because he was rude or anything, but because he didnt remember his name. Nor did he feel the need to ask, it wasnt important, neither was the girls. They were just tag alongs, might go their own way, might stick around for awhile, it didnt matter in the long run. The sun was down now, and Anna had a flashlight going, guiding them all. Arc had still felt a little high, so he kept his shades on, which meant he had to rely on the flashlight. He trusted Anna, knew that she knew what she was doing.
The trek through the Arklay Forest has ended when the small group came to a clearning, a thin layer of plains. This was Lake Trinity, and Stoneville was on the opposite site. Arc wasnt sure if this camp they were staying at had been inside the town itself, or on the outskirts, but it was a good time to find out, as nightfall was in full effect now. The thin ray of moonlight reflected into the water sheen on the surface of the lake, it was the only other source of light, even out in the open like this. The lights that surrounded the lake had been off, for obvious reasons, and there was no indication of anything moving at the moment.
"Well have to move around the lake to get to the town, do you know exactly where the place were looking for is? Or even a general idea?" Arc had been completely fine now, and didnt even need his shades, thankfully. They didnt make seeing in the dark any easier, but it was good knowing he didnt have to try and hide his identity from the old man and the little girl. At this point, he was going to try anything, he would have, so it was safe to assume he had nothing but good intentions by sticking with Arc and Anna. And maybe even a favor to owe them for saving his granddaughter back in the forest. "Im gonna say theyre camped somewheres around the side of the lake, just light out, its pretty late. The last thing anybody would want is a big light giving away their position to the infected..."
