This is a behemoth of a structure, a small floating city. This rig is home to 400 workers, and has more rooms than you cna shake a stick at. Of course it has the usual mess hall, medical room, gym, library, etc. It has 8 different levels, 3 of which are devoted to the oil production.

(Picking up where the NADAS RP left off here.)
Quicksilver held on for dear life, or so it seemed to him. The huge creature was flailing around so much, and he only had one arm around its neck.
Finally, after what seemed like hours of tugging, the vibroblade came loose from its sheath. First on the agenda was to help Art. For that, he needed to be in front of it, collect one of her swords, and cut the tentical that was holding her captive. His mind processed all of what needed to be done, and he closed his eyes for a moment.
When he opened them, time seemed to go in slow motion. The flailing of the monster seemed to stop, and he could see the individual grains of sand in the air as if they were suspended in water.
With a quick jerk of his shoulders, he cleared the head and torso of the monster with a leap, and flipped. He grabbed hold of one of Art's swords, as he rolled foreward on his hands, with his left hand and tumbled to his feet. Before he was even turned around any, he lifted the sword and spun. Using his momentum, he sliced down and through the tentical. He hoped Art's landing wasnt a hard one.
He made another complete spin in front of the monster and sliced sideways, digging her sword into its torso several inches. It was much tougher than the others had been. And thats why he had the vibroblade. He pushed the button for it to start up, and heard the wirring noise it made. It entered the side of the monster through the slit Art's blade had made, worked through, cut her sword like a stick, and finally exited the other side.
He was vaugely aware of the monsters howls of pain, but figured that if it was screaming in pain, it wasnt dead. He saw the top half start to fall to the ground, and saw an opportunity to add an exclamation point.
As the torso fell through the air, he met it with an upward slash. Again, the blade cut through the bones and muscle like they were paper, and soon the torso fell to the groun in two peices instead of one. The legs fell back next.
The parts twitched a bit, but stopped moving. At least for now. He turned around to see Art on the ground, and ran to her to see if she was ok.
