New Arbat street was a popular place in Russia. It was home to rich night clubs and great food. All that remains is a deserted street.

A cry was able to be heard from outside the apartment building David was currently staying in. His comrades were sitting on a couch that had been pressed up against the door. They did not take much notice to the woman's plea to the empty night for it was not an uncommon thing since the events that had taken place. The rioters, or so the police believed them to be, had taken over the entire city. Men, women, children, none were spared by the creatures of the night, so why should she be any different? David stood up, he check his satellite phone, 'Damn, still no signal' he thought to himself, he put the phone back into his bag and lit one of his cigarettes.
"Those things will kill you, Wolf" Nicolai said jokingly. "Yes, that and the zombies outside. I think I'd take my chances with the cigarettes if I were him" replied Joseph in the same joking manner. David pulled on his jacket as he rose from the bed. "Going somewhere comrade?" Nicolai asked. "I thought I'd go for a walk." David replied. "What, given up on life? I didn't think we were that bad for conversation." "Heh, no of course not. Hearing the same jokes about old German soldiers and young American women can keep me entertained for weeks at a time." David said sarcastically, "but don't you think it odd that know one has come to the Russian people's aid and that all phone service has been cut off? The most likely plan to terminate the infected here, and not with bullets and grenades like we have been. The will probably be a plane dropping enough Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate on this town to wipe out Belgium." "It wouldn't take mush to wipe out Belgium," Mikhail joked, "but your right. We should get out of here before things start to get loud." The group of men loaded up their rifles and gear as quietly as possible. Joseph and Mikhail hefted the couch to the side while David took aim at the door. Nicolai crept up and quietly knocked on the door in a familiar harmonic pattern. *tap tap tap tap tap* *Chik-chik* David cocked his rifle in the proper musical response. "Alright let's move out."
