The double-doors open up to a large locker room. On the right side of the locker room there's a vacuum-sealed decontamination room where HazMat team members get decontaminated after an assignment. Vents above this locker room are small but numerous, obviously used for ventilation of hazardous chemical leaks. Around 10-20 lockers span the walls and the middle of the room, separating Security Guard lockers with HazMat lockers. Suits are lined up within the lockers and most of the place is covered in dust and dirt- nothing has been used here for a very long time.

[Jake and Katie have entered]
Jake tried using the door on the side of the building, unfortunately it was locked. Tackling into it didn't seem to do the trick either. Ultimately as the two walked around a bit he spotted a window. It was a bit high. He couldn't even reach it since he was tall, but Katie might be able to if she climbed onto his shoulders.
He looked over at the woman. "I'll give you a boost. You get on my shoulders, break the window if it isn't open. Which it most likely isn't...Don't worry about the glass falling on me. I'll be fine. Just get in there and open the emergency exit over there from inside."
After explaining himself, he holstered his gun and knelt down. The journalist put away her sidearm and grabbed onto his back a bit, pulling herself onto his shoulders and holding on tight.
"Okay, easy now," he mumbled, standing to his feet carefully. She sucessfully reached the window at this point.

Katie balanced herself on Jakes shoulders and with her hands on the wall. Looking through the window, it seemed like there was a whitened hallway on the otherside, but nothing more could be seen. Pulling out the handgun, she brought it back, and then swung it sharply against the glass. Expecting a shatter, she covered herself, but there wasnt even a crack. Katie unexpectidly aimed the gun with one hand at the window over her head, and then fired a shot toward it. Screaming as she was nearly knocked back from the impact, she quickly swung the gun forward to shatter out the rest of the window.
Jumping to the ground, she landed on all fours, holding her wrist from the recoil of the shot. A little shaken but not harmed, Katie stood up and looked at Jake with appologetic eyes. "Sorry..." Jake gave her another boost up, and Katie cleared the shards away from the bottem of the window with the barrel of the gun, and then climbed through.
Landing solidly onto the blandly tiled hallway on the inside, she looked around at the surroundings, searching for the door. Running through the hallway, the only sound inside was the clicking sound of her footsteps on the hard floor. Turning a hallway with her gun aimed, Katie saw the double doors, and ran for them. It seemed to be locked electronically, with a keycard reader to the right of the knob. But, with all luck on her side, the card was laying on the floor covered in a thin layer of dust. Picking it up, Katie wiped it off on her sleeve, and then slashed it through, slowely pushing open one of the doors just as Jake pulled. "Dammit!... Ahg..."

Jake and Katie finally pulled open the doors, but as soon as Jake squeezed through the opening, it quickly slammed shut. The card read began to make a loud, screeching noise before it's power completely shut off. Looking back at it, Jake sighed.
"Guess we're not going back that way..." he trailed off, looking around at his surroundings. It seemed to be some sort of locker room. A few, fully decayed bodies lying about. He walked over to one and started shifting through his coat, sucessfully finding a standard handgun, a magazine and another keycard.
"Just like in videogames!" he said, chuckling right afterward. He stood to his feet and looked over at Katie, handing her the handgun. "Hold onto this for me, will ya? You have enough storage for it, I don't. You can use it if you run into trouble..."

"Right..." Katie nodded, and stuck the handgun into her jeans pocket. Looking around the white hallway, she noticed an open door far down the other side. She didnt have to tell Jake, either of them really had any idea where they were going, so he instinctivly followed her soon after. Stepping into the room, she made a disgusted face, as the stench wofted into her nose. "Gross... Looks like theyve been dead for quite some time, but..." Katie scanned the bodies, they werent even eaten by anything, the skin was just naturally missing. However, most of the vitals were still in tact, and it didnt take a doctor to see that it could easily still move.
Katie eyed them closely while looking around the room. Aside from the corpses, there was large suits inside some of the open lockers lining the walls. Katie looked around, but the place was so untidy, she didnt know where to begin searching for information about it. Glancing at a terminal alongside a large blocked off room, she guess that it mightve been used to decontamination, judging by the suits. But as she pressed her face to the glass, she saw a matching keycard similer to the one Jake found in the center of the chamber. "Hey look at that keycard inside on the body, it looks like the one you found. But the terminal looks like it requires a code of some kind. Maybe if we look around..."

Jake grunted and murmurred several explicitives as he began searching around the room. Noticing a long piece of metal piping jutted out of the walls, he pulled on it, forcing it up and then down before breaking it off. He then positioned himself around the closed, locked, lockers and started jamming the flatter end into the crack of one locker and started prying it open.
"You try," he said, gesturing that Katie find something and do the same. Upon opening the locker, it's contents came spilling out, most of it a buncha dirty magazines and a coat.
"Filth. How generic," he said under his breath as he picked up the coat and went through the pockets. Inside was nothing but half a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and some gum. He grinned and pulled on of the cigarettes out, lighting it up and then taking in a long, drag.
Letting the smoke out from between his lips, he stuck it back into the side of his mouth, starting on the next locker. "Hell yes."

Katie looked at Jake with a slightely disguested face. She wasnt against smoking or anything, but she definitly wasnt into it either. Walking beside Jake, she grabbed the pipe from beside him, and then moved toward the chamber. Stepping to the side to get some distance, Katie then flung herself forward, jamming the pipe into the center of the chamber windows.
After another blow, the glass cracked, and then Katie swung at it from a the side, making sure not to get hit with any glass that might fly toward her. Smashing out an entrance, she cleared away the shards from around the frame, and then climbed inside.

Jake glanced over at her and shrugged a little. "You do that. I'm gonna make sure there aren't anything useful in the lockers," he said loud enough for her to hear.
After realizing she probably didn't hear him, he groaned and pulled the pipe out of the locker, swung it over his shoulder and followed after her. He climbed through the shattered window and dropped down on his feet, looking around.
Squinting, he took the cigaretteout of his mouth and flicked aside, walking ahead to see just where the girl went off to.
"Katie? Where'd you go?" he called out, keeping his weapon drawn. Suddenly the vent above him burst open and this odd, slimy green, thing oozedout of it and droped down. It appeared tobe covered in leeches.
"What the f**k is that?!" he yelled, backing away.

[Shortest post ive ever made... But, I dunno what to do ]Katie heard Jake, and then ran from around the corner with her gun drawn. But she didnt know wether to fire or not, would it even have any effect? She hadnt seen anything like this before. It was between her and Jake, making her own escape fairly difficult without crossing the stuff. Backing away from the growing puddle, Katie pressed herself against the wall, there was nowhere to run. By then, the thing started to grow upwards, forming a person, to some degree. "Jake, I...?" Katie

Jake looked around the creatureto see Katie backing herself against a wall. "Hey, don't panic, just...uhhh," he trailed off, trying to scope the room as quickly as humanly possible. There was another window that lead into God knows where, a bit away from Katie. She could get to it as long as he stalled.
"Break through the window. I'll catch up," he told her, taking aim at the monster and shooting at it. Leeches flew off from the shots, forcing the human shaped abomination to twitch and writhe, but continue after Jake.
He looked back over at the locker room and reached up, kicking his legs a bit until he fell back in. The creature followed after him.
[ Same here. I'll figure somethin' out though. No worries.]

Katie tried to keep a clear face, and then darted toward the window once Jake started to fire. As she got to the other side of the room, stopped, and then weaved back for the body around the corner. Snatching the keycard that layed in the rotting corpses hand, she pocketed it, and then hurled herself at the window. After ramming it several time, a tear started to form in her eye, she couldnt do this.
Backing up, Katie drew the handgun toward the window, and fired off rounds, trying to hit the same spot. After the large window broke, she could hear Jake taking off more shots, and knew this was her chance. Climbing through the window, she pulled out the camera before running off, and took two shots quickly without giving much effort into range.
Katie didnt like the idea of leaving Jakes side, but it was the only chance she had. She was in a hallway now, running down as fast as she could, getting away from the scene. She couldnt go too far, her consience just wouldnt let her. Seeing a control panel to the right, Katie pulled out the card, and tried it, success. As the door opened, walked through, purposely leaving the card in the slot.

Jake fell through the window, rolling onto his back. "Oof! Ah...dammit...huh?"
Looking up he noticed the thing twisting and stretching, oozing itself through the window. The man got onto his feet and ran across the room, backing himself against the wall as he reloaded his gun. The monster brought it's tentacle-like arm back andthen lashed forward at him. Dodging to the side, the thing, whipped into the wall, peircing through it.
"Holy mother of...Okay, gotta stay away from that," he said quietly, pumping the shotgun and running further into the locker room. When he went around, attempting to sneak up on it, it was gone.
"What?"
SLAM!
The vent above went flying off and it dropped down behind him The damned thing moved pretty fast.Or was it...
One disgusting, squishy minute after, the other leech monster came squirming about from behind the new one.
"s***, f**k this! I can't take on both of them on my own," he yelled, sending two shots offintothe newerone and making another run for it. The door beeped and opened up as he ran passedit. "Eh? Ah! Alright Katie!" he said, running out of the door and down the hall.

Katie heard the sounds outside in the hallway, as she quickly looked around the room. There didnt seem to be any vents on the wall, or the ceiling for that matter. Meaning whatever that thing was couldnt get inside this room. As she maved back for the electronic door, she was about to press the open button, when it slid open and Jake came through. As he did this, Katie grabbed the keycard before the door locked her outside.
"Jake! I dont know what that thing is, but..." Katie handed over her digital camera to Jake. She had managed one decent shot, and zoomed in good enough to up the quality of the leeches growing on the thing. She didnt know what much about them, but enough to get the approxomate size of each of them. "Thats as close as your gonna get to one of them without sacrificing a limb. Where do you think it came from?"

"Thats as close as your gonna get to one of them without sacrificing a limb. Where do you think it came from?"
"I beg to differ," he muttered, thinking about the happening in the locker room.
Jake then raised an eyebrow while looking at the ugly bastard. "Sooo while I was nearly gonna die you were taking pictures of it? God, do I always look like that when I'm screaming with terror?" he asked, noticing you could kinda see his face in there.
He rubbed his jaw. "I need a shave too...Oh right, those leeches. Well from what I saw that thing can get into the smallest of places leech by leech if we let it..." he explained, looking around for any openings.
"We should still be careful. Now then, come on, let's find a way out."

[You make a leaving post now here, too.]
Katie grinned, the comedic words made her more calm and collective about the current situation. Also the seriousness assured her that sticking with Jake would keep her alive through this just that much longer. But to be truthful, she would rather not be alone, just having the company made her feel better. "Right. I dont think we should go back out there, we need to keep moving through the building. We should be able to use this keycard to get us past this next door, too..."
Katie lightly walked over to the terminal across the room, and the inserted the card into the slot. As she pulled it throguh the sensor, her hands moved to her handgun, aimed at the corpses laying on the floor in the hallway leading to the next room. "The smell..."
