Xanthira shook out her hair as she climbed out of the shower, and with a damp cloth she whiped over her cloths turning them back to their original color. She sat on the toilet enjoing the steaming room. It had been a long time since she enjoyed a nice shower, and it would probably be longer before she enjoyed another one. When the shower ran out she sat there a bit longer, before getting dressed. She wrapped her hair in a towel, and made her way out of the room.
She walked to the makeshift bedroom, and looked around. She noticed the open laptop, and knelt down beside the sleeping Trevor. She scrolled through the computer, before returning it to it's normal position. She then found a blanket and covered him up, and the last thing she found was the two lockboxes. She made quick work of the locks, and then found her own little spot to lay down in. She quickly got up and shut the door before laying with her back against the door. One thing she had learned was to always be prepared, and there was a window that had easy access to the outside. She laid there for a bit with her hand wrapped around her locket before she fell asleep.

Trevor was awakened by the sound of glass shattering. Jumping up he headed to the hallway entrance to see a number of undead crawling through a window in the kitchen. He groaned when they tipped over his mr. coffee. "Have they no shame." He said regretebly. Walking back into the room he locked it. The lock was simple and would give to enough pressure. He instantly began gathering his stuff with the brink of dawn lighting his path. "Time to wake up Xan, only we're the breakfast." As soon as he said that the door began to rattle. The room had no other exit so he took out a lightbulb he had filled with a few intense ingrediants. "Just apply oxygen." He said throwing it at the wall to their right. As soon as it shattered the acid began taking it's effect disolving the wall showing the beam foundation. He then turned around. "Honestly Xan you may not be a morning person but if you don't hurry you won't be a person at all!"

Xanthira glared at Trevor before sitting up. She looked around and wondered how she rolled so far away from the bedroom door. Shrugging her shoulds she picked up her items and followed after Trevor. They made their way into the next room, and she moved toward the window. "Here," she said pulling him with her. She opened the window and slid out onto the steep slopped incline. "Watch your footing," she said as she waited for Trevor to follow. She looked back as the walkers made their way into the room.
She sat down on her but and slid down the slopped part of the roof to the more level part. She turned to watch Trevor follow her. "Alright, make for the street. The open area will be easer for us to manuver around these things," she pointed out as she ran along the roof toward the edge. She sat down and then eased herself to the ground. "Lets go, your going to have to lead the way I don't know where we are going," she pointed out as he followed behind her. Once they hit the street she turned to look back at the house. "Did you leave anything important behind in there?" she asked.

Trevor looked back with concern and anger. "My coffee." He mumbled before heading to the edge of the building and following Xan's actions, however, not a regular althele he hurt his ankle on the send drop. "Ah!...oh well. Hey, what about the four wheeler?" It was then he saw the garage door shake and moans came from behind the wall. "Great. I guess we're walking. Listen, I don't know how well you know this place but the convoy was ransact at the corner of Jefferson and Maple. That's about six blocks from here." He then pulled out his pistol and looked at it strangley. " I hope I'm a fast learner." He mentioned. "We have to be prepared incase that hulking humanoid comes back though. Any thoughts. You look like you can handle the undead well enough but this thing was something else entirely."

"Well that's easer said than done," Xanthira mumbled as she lead them down the street. She looked back to notice that Trevor was moving slower than before. Looking down she noticed that he was limping. "Your not going to get far like that," she said looking around. She smiled when she spoted a small car sitting in the driveway, probably one of many cars left behind. She found it pointless for families to flee in seperate vehicles. It always ended in tragedy in the end. She moved the over to the small vehicle watching as Trevor made his way around to the passanger side.
Lifting up on the handle she found that the car was unlocked. "Mistake number one. Most people in the world leave their vehicles unlocked at home believing that they wont get stolen," she said as she slid into the car. She reached over and unlocked his door letting him in. "Mistake number two," she said reaching under the dash board and pulling the main panel out. "Never teach people how to hotwire cars on tv," she said with a grin. With the cutting of a couple wires and the touching of a few more the car came to life. "That's why they are putting chips in keys now. So this doesn't happen," she explained as she backed out of the drive way. "Point the way I don't know how to get there."

"Up the hill" He poited, after that a hard left. Half the building haave collapsed so you'll have to dodge the debri." He mentioned testing out the AC. "D@mn...Can't seem to catch a break." As the car started he observed the fire-arm again. "To think someone wanted to make it even easier for people to kill other people. Guns are guns but REAL men use revolvers. The way it was in the Ol West. He then sighed. Too much kickback for me though. I didn't get any proper training. They said that the 'alpha team' would take care of me. Maybe it's just me but this situation brings to mind another incident not too long ago. Just then they past a very fancy mansion. "I know you're tempted but let's wait till we're properly armed." Suddenlt one of the broken building crashed as the wall facing the street felldown. Behind it a towering tyrant. An odd sight, however, was the weeds and clinging vines crawling over it's body. With a bloody roar it lifted a bolder and reared back for a throw. "Guess he didn't go far. Perhaps he's become territorial."

Xanthira swerved sharply as the bolder hit the ground behind them. She turned back to look back at the creature. "He's an ugly thing," she mumbled under her breath. She turned back to the road at hand and swerved again as several more pieces of the building went flying past them. "He seems a bit ****ed. What did you do to him?" she asked with a slight grin. She slammed on the break and turned the wheel as the truck swerved to the side and jerked as she pressed on the gas again. "Hope he doesn't follow, or at least stays away long enough for us to claim your gear and bail," she commented. Looking back in the mirror she noticed that the creature had disappeared. She topped the hill and noticed not to far down the road the vehicles and equipment. She pulled to a quick stop beside the vehicles leaving them enough room to bail in their newly acquired vehicle if needed. "Alright, what do you need?"

"Me?" he asked. "Most of my equipment was air dropped to the various locations of interest. I do have a backpack with some extra items that I will need. That and a chem launcher. Basically a riot gas gun with some of my own modifications to make it an anti-BOW weapon." It wasn't long before the old convoy came into view completely swarming with infected humans.
"Looks like they're feasting on the three who decided to stay and fight it out. Those creatures arn't going to just leave on their own." He said lifting the pisol and looking at it. "We could try to thin the heard but I'm afraid my depth perception is completely shot. I might as well be firing this thing with my eyes closed." He then looked at her. "We could always try and destract those things. As to how I have no ideas."

Xanthira looked around for a moment before looking back at Trevor. "I can distract them. Without live bate they wouldn't take it anyways," she said as she put the truck into park. She pulled out her own weapon and opened the door slightly. "With your ankle you wouldn't be able to out run them anyway. When there gone just go get your bag and what ever else you think we might need. Then take the truck and come pick me up," she explained. She climbed out of the truck and shut the door behind her. "Don't be late."
She ran up the street firing off a few rounds into several of the undead. She waited for a moment so that they could see their new bait. Once they took it she took off down up the street bairly by passing them as she did. She didn't want to run down the street incase they would have noticed Trevor not to mention that creature was back there. She looked back to see if they were all following her, and when she was satisfied she fired off a few more rounds into the mob just to keep their attention.

Stumbling as fast as he could under the cover of darkness, he did his best to make haste towards the convoy. One approached him which he simply pushed onto the ground using it's own momentum to his advantage. Once reaching the jeep he opened the jeep and climbed up onto the mini-gun turret on the back. "Might want to take cover!" He said with a cocky smile. Once Xan was out of the way he pulled the trigger only to have the barrel turn but no bullets come out. He held up a finger. "Um, one moment, just give me a second. As Xan gave him a disgusted look she went back to the task of being bait while Trevor checked out the cannon.
He was completely out of his element here. He couldn't use a pistol let alone a gautling gun. He began to think the situation over rationally, thinking over what a gun needed to operate. It then came to him and he quickly checked the ammo chain remembering Doile complaining it had jammed when they abandond the vehicles. Snapping off the chain it fell through his hands onto the ground as he didn't expect it to weigh so much. As he reached down to grab the chain an undead best lunged for his wrist. He then threw out his foot and pinned him against the seat still snarling. Using all of his limbs at once hebraced with his right hand and found the chain with his left. It seemed like forever before he put the ammo back in place. Stretching and grabbing the handle he turned the gun on the zombie he had pinned. With a pull of the trigger it was filled with hot lead and soon fell silent.
After a breif sigh he climbed back onto the jeep. "OKAY!" He yelled out. "Let's try this again." This timed when he pulled the trigger the gun buzzed to life and his weak frame could barely controll it as bullets went in all directions. After about 30 seconds and a full chain of ammo, all seemed clear. Somewhat relieved he sat down in the gunners seat.

Xanthira hit the dumpster that she hid behind, and not a moment to soon. If she would have waited just a moment more she was sure that she would have been hit by a bullet or two. She slammed her hand against the dumpster and tried her best to calm herself before she headed over to Trevor. Though the more she thought about calming down the madder she got. After a moment she stormed over to the vehicle and slammed her hands onto the hood. "WHAT THE HELL!!" she shouted at him not carrying that her voice would attracted more. "Are you blind or what? You could have killed me!" she barked.

Trevor went cold when he heard that. He stood and looked down silently at the vehicle for a bit before jumping down. "The wapons are ing the truck." He said briefly turning away and walking towards the hummer. Opening the door he sighed before grabbing his backpack. Placing it on the ground he began filling it with various technical devices and data gathering tools. Next he pulled out the special coat he and the other lab techs created. It was long and white, inside was lined with pockets holding various metal vials. He then pulled out a specialized weapon which looked like a minituar grenade-launcher. Taking a few vials from the coat he loaded the weapon and spun the barrel. Throwing the bag in the back he shut the doors and headed to the drivers seat to start up the vehicle.
