A series of 10 three story houses that are stationed next to the river, overlooking the beautiful scenery. Each house is built the same and the only different between them would be the color on the outside. There's a top floor, which is usually the location of the bedrooms, a bottom floor, which is usually the location of the living room and kitchen and the basement, which is usually where the billiard room and the washer/driers as well as other heating elements are in wait. There's much around this part except for fast cars, plenty of food and zero ammunition.

Corpral Arcian Griffin, or at least, thats what my team mates called me. But that was then, this was no. Look how far ive come since then, things change, but the fighting never will...
Arc sprinted down the sidewalk of the Raccoon City streets, making his way east to the Riverside Condos. His SMG swaying back and forth as his side, making a rattle each time it brushed his shoulder. He was running from a large number of infected, who were chasing him ever since he entered the city. The only reason for not out running them all was because there were too many of them to simply ignore. After reaching the condos, Arc ran toward the nearest building, in hopes that it would be less of a rush inside. Getting to the door, he quickly snuck inside, slamming the door behind him. They were thick with steel, so it would be near impossible for the infected to break in. Catching his breath as he sat down in the hallway, his attention quickly turned to the footsteps of someone in the stairwell to his right...

( A BIT EARLIER)
Former officer, Anna McGraw re-entered Raccoon City in high hopes of finding someone she had lost awhile back. Maybe it was a mild waste of her time, but it wasn't like she had a job to wake up in the early morning for. She had traced up and down the streets of Raccoon, hoping to find something, anything, anyone.
Of course her traveling lead her to the Riverside Condos where she had unexpectedly ran into some trouble earlier that evening. She was driving through the city with what little gas she had until she had finally ran out, halting the truck's further use.
Hoping she'd be able to find a nearby gas station, she found herself in the midst of the undead, typical, but she was already short of ammo. She had ultimately decided to take refuge into one of the condos, in high hopes it was safer there and without any "surprises".
(Now) She scanned the second floor, finding knocked over lamps, clothes scattered among the floor and so far no zombies. When she started for another room she heard a door downstairs slam. She quickly whipped her .45 out and carefully made her way downstairs.
"Eat bullets, you bastard." she said, reaching the bottom step and swiftly aiming the barrel of her gun at the intruder's face.

Arc saw the gun barrel less then an inch infront of his head, but he didnt flinch one bit. He stepped to one side, and lightly placed his hand onto the female survivers forearm. "Hey now chicka... Watch where you point that thing..."
Arc lowered the gun of the female surviver, and then stepped closer to get a better image of her. Just going by how she held the gun, he could tell this woman was either a cop, or someone who was used to fireing one. "The names Arc Griffin... Dont suppose you have any food up in storage, do you?"

Anna pulled her arm back from the man and got a good look at him. He looked like some sort of soldier. As he approached her, Anna climbed a step up, to put some distance between the two.
"No I don't, but I haven't checked the kitchen thoroughly as of yet. Was looking for some chance of finding someone alive. Looks like I've succeeded. Lucky me," she retorted.

Arc smirked in the dark, his eyes now adjusting to the lighting and he could see the woman much more clearly now. He leaned against the wall in the stairwell, and tilted his head, expecting to get some form of response. "And you are...?" But a response was broken when Arc heard the sound of the undead banging on the entrance door not six feet away. He instantly turned to see one of the infected pressing his face and hand up against the glass, smearing the surface with blood and god knows what else. Quickly turning back to the woman, he pointed up the stairs, and then spoke out loudly. "Upstairs, lets hurry!"
Arc ran up the steps, and into the next hallway he saw. Finding an already open door, he nearly jumped inside, motioning for the woman to follow him. As soon as she did, he closed the door behind them, locking it tightly with the deadbolt. Then pressing his ear against the door, Arc carefully listened to see is he could hear them breaking in through the entrance or not.

Outside two of of the re-animated corpses pushed all their weight onto the door, pounding their leathery palms against it. This attracted more of those things and before they knew it, there were at least seven at the doorstep.
Nnnngh.....Nnnnnngh....
Upstairs, Anna gritted her teeth together and released the empty clip from her .45 and pushed in another. Tossing the empty magazine aside, she looked back up at Arc.
"We can't stay holed up forever," she told him.
Suddenly there was a loud crash and the sounds of footsteps and thuds echoed throughout the empty home.

Arc watched as the woman replaced the clip in her gun, casting the empty one onto the bed inside the room. As she spoke, he instantly thought that there would have to be some kind of fire escape on the roof, or something similar to it. They could jump from the floor they were on, but it was much too high to avoid injury, these condos were very high up, even being on the first floor. When the crash filled the downstairs lobby with sounds of the infected, he quickly grabbed the empty clip from the bed, and pocketed it into his extra pouch. Never know when it would come in hand, after all, he was using the relitivly same firearm as she did.
Arc could hear the zombies climbing the staircase already, they knew him and the female were inside, and wanted a good meal right away. He unlocked the door and swung it open, pointing his SMG toward the top of the stairs, just seeing the tops of a few of the infected reaching the first floor. Without even waiting for an immediate responser, Arc ran off toward the staircase, popping singles rounds into the zombies as they came closer to where he needed to go. As he reached the staircase, he began to kick the undead back down the stairs, not in an attempt to kill them, but do supply cover for the female surviver to reach the stairs unharmed. "Unless you got a better idea... To the Rooftop! Lets go!"

Anna immediately darted after the man, holstering her gun and pulling out a long, slightly curved, iron pipe into grasp. There weren't that many to deal with so why waste ammo? Behind her a face came into view, it's cheeks were decayed and sunk in with thin, sparse hair attatched to it's rotting scalp. When it caught site and scent of it's living victims, it drew it's arms out and began stumbling after them, groping at the air.
Cursing herself for not checking the bathroom, Anna swung the pipe at it, nailing it in the face and then straight kicking it back until it lost balance and fell on it's butt. She then caught up to the man and kicked back another walking corpse.
"Alright, let's get going, Arc," she finally responded, giving him a quick nod.

Drawing back and crenching a fist, Arc let go once more, sending three undead down the steps. As he quickly ran up the steps, he checked behind his shoulder to make sure the girl was following him. She seemed to be able to handle herself more then comfourtably, but he wanted to be sure nothing caught up to her. Seeing a zombie in the center of the stairs nearing the third floor, Arc pulled it back against the railing, then glanced down as it flipped over and fell back down to the bottem floor. After the grousome thud, he contenued to the top floor, where he then searched for an exit door. It was the end of the stairwell here, so maybe there was another on the opposite side.
Arc waited for the female to get up the remaining few steps, and then they both jogged down the hallway to the other end. Catching his breath, he spoke to her with exaustion in his voice. "The exit door should be just down here..." Arc saw the red flashing 'exit' sign above the metal door, as he rushed his shoulder into it, knocking it open. He looked at the girl, but then motioned past her. "You get up to the roof, leave them to me... Ok?" It was a rethorical 'ok', he would deal with the oncoming zombies either way. After the female ran past him up to the roof, Arc closed the door, and then leaned against it with his weight.

As Anna left Arc to fend off the remaining zombies, she made it onto the center of the roof, taking the moment to take a deep breath. The cold, frigid air wisped past her face, blowing her bangs back and making her shiver. Was it right to just let that guy stay behind while she stood there probably much safer than he was? She shook those thoughts away and let her defense stance, drop.
As she began to relax a little, she heard the all too familiar squawks above. her eyes immediately darted the dark sky, making out at least six black birds fluttering about. "s***!" she hissed, bringing her arms up as they flew right at her.
It was those crows! Oh how she hated dealing with the little, rats with wings. She swung her iron pipe at them, smacking one aside and barrel rolling forward, to escape two others. Luckily the pent house had a flat roof, otherwise she would've fallen.
That said, the flock of crows attacked once more, leaving Anna to bat at them. She could feel their beaks peck at her and it began to aggravate her so greatly she pulled the shotgun off her back and cocked it back.
"****...OFF!" she yelled, pulling the trigger. The scattering effect sent the birds falling one by one to the cement roof with dull thuds. She panted heavily, lightly kicking one of the bodies.

Arc heard the shotgun crack in the air, as the banging on the exit door got more and more violent and stronger. After his shoulders were bruised in serveral places from holding the door closed, he reach to his side pouch and pulled out a concussion grenade. Diving off the door onto the staircase, he pulled the pin and dropped the metallic ball onto the ground as the door burst open. Five seconds. Arc stumbed up the stairs, slipping onto his knee from going too fast. Four seconds. He got back up and contenued climbing the stairs. Three seconds. Closer and closer to the top, he was nearly at the rooftop. Two seconds. He slipped once more at the top. One second. He drove forward, feeling a pressure from behind propell him forward.
Flying backwards through the air, he saw the exit door spinning toward him, as it then knocked against the back of his shoulder. He rolled flat onto the roof, all movement came to a stop, as he rolled over to see body parts fly around him and landing on the rooftop. When everything went silent, there was a loud ringing in his ears from being too close, but that went away just about as fast as it all happened. The force of the grenade blast aswell as the door had twisted his upper arm out of place, which jolted with pain now that things had settled down. Arc lay on the roof top, holding his arm, and trying to give in to the pressure. Doing so would leave him unconcious, so he would just have to put up with the pain. Staring with a blurry vison at the woman, he managed to smirk. "Heh... I never did get your name..."

Anna covered her face from the flying parts until it was over. She lowered her arms a little and took a peek at Arc who was now lying on the ground of the rooftop. The Ex.cop briskly walked over to him, kneeling down on her right knee, grabbing his uninjured shoulder, and hoisted him up.
"Anna McGraw," she finally responded, returning the smirk. She took a good look at his other arm and her lips uncurled into a frown.
"Your arm's popped out of place. Maybe you should let me pop it back in."

"No no, I got it... Dont worry bout me..." Arc let go of the womans arm, and then stretched his shoulder. It was greatful of Anna to offer help, but he knew that he could do it on his own. It couldnt be much different from his leg, he just needed to use a bit more power. Which is something he didnt have, having only one arms to work with was no easy task. He heard a twisting crack, and then urked slightly in pain, it didnt work. Arc couldnt be stubborn, he had to take help when given. Just letting other do the work for him was always his downside, he wanted to do everything himself so others wouldnt have to worry. But in this instant, maybe he could have a change. After all, this was the first time he had someone else to work with in a long, long time. Listing his arm a bit higher, Arc spoke. "...You wouldnt mind, would you, Anna?"

Anna's face scrunched up as she watched his failed attempt at twisting his arm back in place. As soon as he asked, she grabbed his injurerd arm firmly with her left hand and then with her right. She gave it a strong twist, then apop and it was back in the socket.
"Nope. Not at all. Feel any better?" she wondered aloud. She reached into her back pouch and pulled out a long gauze wrapping it around his arm.
"Not too much support, but we can fix that if we find something to double as a splint," she told him, keeping her eyes on what she was doing.
