Andreya smiled as she looked at the map. She tilted her head a bit as she scanned it over thinking of where to go. Pausing for a moment she looked up to the end of the park. "You once said your friend lived in the forest," she said lightly as she pointed to the map. "He may not be there now, but there might just be some kind of evidence of where he went. If to get you on the right track of where you need to go . . . if that's all I can do then I'll be happy with that," she said lightly. She sighed a bit as she folded up the map trying her best to ignore his question. she sighed heavily as she shook her head.
"There was Thorton," she spoke lightly as she pulled out her cell phone, and looked it over. "But if he hasn't called me by now then . . . then I'm alone again," she said as she bit her lip to keep from crying. She was scared to death of dying, she didn't want that happening, but even now as she felt her own wounds throbbing she knew that it was to late. An that being she was going to try and help Louis find his friend, or get him as close as she possibly could. She turned to look at him with tears in her eyes. "Without Thorton, I have no one . . . nothing," she said lightly as she stopped walking to look up at the moon. "As for helping me, even if we did find a cure the virus would have more than likely mutated in my body, and it would be pointless. So finding your friend is all I can do."
She smiled weakly as she motioned him to the end of the park. She stopped and looked beyond the fence into the forest, and smiled lightly. "It's funny," she said lightly as she pushed the fence open, and walked a bit into the woods. "To survive two different horrors only to be taken by a third. I'm scared to dye, but yet I'm not scared of what is going to happen," she said as she continued off into the forest. "Is that funny? I mean, I never had much of a life . . . so . . . so maybe this is a way for someone telling me I wasn't suppose to have one to begin with." She sighed heavily as she shook her head.

It was a short walk from the condo's to the city park. The 12 man team started to make its way in, and all of the TFP personnel started to screw suppressors onto their weapons. The civilians had none sadly. As the 12 men arrived, a helicopter flew over, and they saw a flare on the far side of the park fired up into the air to attempt to grab its attention. Sadly the helicopter was a gunship, and could do nothing to aid who ever had fired the flare up. Instead, Middleton and his men had to take it upon themselves. Unfortunately they had no idea where the source of the flare was, nor how long they'd be where they were. They'd have to search for them. Middleton signaled for 6 men to go left, and the other 6 would go right, and they'd move around the park in a circle and link back up at the other side. Watson took his six men, including adam and one other civilian along with his own fire team, and started to move along the left side of the park.
The team got a little bit farther into the park before they had to start fighting their way through. Lickers, zombies, crimson heads, and other nasty things were all over, although it was their only way through to get at the plant at an angle the 3 men on the roof wouldn't be able to see a mile away. Watson had started to realize by now Adam wasn't so good with his gun, and so he'd need to be all the closer to use either the shotgun or his Katana. He'd seemed to do fine enough leading the way in the condo. Watson moved up so he was walking beside Adam
Hey, move up about 10 yards and take point. We'll follow up behind you and cover you. If you see something you don't like, or see the survivors, jog back to me, tell me, and we'll move in fast in hard. For now, find us a way in where we don't have to shoot our way through, and we'll follow the path your taking. Alright? If you gotta fight a few, don't worry, we got your back and make sure nothing more then what you can handle even get near you.
It looked like a mentally complicated path. He could see even without night vision about a dozen plus zombies shambling about randomly, and he'd have to find a way to slip past all of them quietly so that the other 5 men could tail gate him through while they focused on looking out for the source of the flare.

"Roger that," said Adam and he headed out ahead of the Corporal. Once he reached the distance though, he stopped and looked around, staying low and looking just over a hedge. There were twelve zombies walking aimlessly and randomly around the park that they'd have to sneak by. He knew they had to keep moving, but a path to get them there had to be eyeballed first. It took him about twenty seconds before he started moving along the hedge, keeping his head down. If they were going to be stealthy, he couldn't use either his shotgun, nor his revolver. If he had to take down one of the zombies, he'd have to use his sword to do it quietly.
Fortunately, he was able to reach he end of the hedge without being spotted. All twelve of the zombies were on his right side inside the park, but the hedge ended and there was no cover for about fifteen feet as there was a walkway that headed into the park. On the other side was another hedge, but to get there, he'd have to cross the sight-lines of at least one of the twelve zombies.
Getting down on his stomach, he looked under the trimmed hedge. He could see four zombies that were on the pathway into the park. If they were facing the right way, they'd see him clear as day if he crossed the walkway to the other hedge. Still, they had to keep moving. Getting into a crouching position and peaking around the side of the hedge, he waited until three of the zombies were facing away from him and the fourth one was just about to turn away. As soon as it did, he stood up and sprinted across the walkway and behind the other hedge. Looking back down the walkway, he ducked back suddenly and cursed under his breath. The nearest of the four zombies had stopped and had apparently heard his feet on the brick walkway. It would, no doubt, come to investigate. Sitting behind he hedge, Adam slowly and silently drew his sword from his back and waited until he could hear the thing's footsteps. As the zombie walked around the side of the hedge, he sprang up, swinging the blade out through the zombie's lower torso and it fell in two pieces behind the hedge. He did realize, however, that he hadn't finished it yet and he turned around and quickly cut through the zombie's neck, taking off the head.
Looking back at Watson, Adam showed a quick thumbs-up that everything was ok.
(Sorry for the long-ass post. Kinda really got into it this time.)

OOC: Good. Its what I like to happen.
After the team had scanned for the survivors first, they moved up along Adams path, and caught up to him on the other side of the hedge. However, a couple of the zombies had looked around right as the last men caught up, and started to make their way towards them. That was unfortunately the problem they were facing moving in such a large group through such an open space yet trying to be stealthy. Watson pointed at one man and on man only, and signaled for him to handle the zombies. He snapped his Bushmaster ACR to his shoulder, aimed, and made several quick head shots, taking down the shamblers with ease. Although it might seem futile if they were going to fight the zombies anyways, it saved ammo to have to fight less, and fight less on less intense terms. They could have just avoided hell knows what by taking the softer approach, and by far saved more ammunition, which in a zombie apocalypse like this could make worlds of difference.
Watson then signaled for them to get moving again. Up ahead was then a typical outdoors public restroom building with some water fountains and two bathrooms with multiple stalls and utilities inside, and another handful of zombies... And a crimson head howling and running around outside the bathroom building seemingly chasing something. The other zombies were scattered around, but in this open courtyard, other then a couple benches, the restroom was the only concealment. It looked unavoidable that some may have to die, but as Watson had known, the key to this was minimizing how many had to be killed and faced, and which ones risked the most to have to face.

(Sorry, I haven't played any of the games so forgive me if I didn't know what a Cimson Head was. I wikiad it and figured it out, but it was kinda vague.)
Adam noticed the restroom and spotted the zombies moving around it. He was still too far away to use the shotgun and he wouldn't use it anyway since it wasn't fitted with a suppressor. He'd have to take them out with his sword again. He was just about to move in though when he stopped. There was another zombie outside the restroom that was different from the others. Its skin was a dark redish color and it looked more dangerous. The thing that made him hesitate though was that the thing was running. He had only been back in Racoon City for a few days and the whole time, he had only seen zombies walk and they always moved realtively slow. The fact that this thing was running, probably fast enough to catch him in a run-down, was unsettling. "What is that thing?" he asked quietly to Watson, who was beside him.

OOC: sorry, was busy one day, hanging with my girlfriend the other
Watson raised an eyebrow as Adam hesitated, and immediately started scanning the area around them for anything that stuck out of place knowing anyone who was used to zombies yet says "What is that thing?" meant Murphies law to the 5th power just got spotted. It could be anything from a swarm of crows to a tyrant to a massive f**king 50 foot tall lady bug. The search for survivors forgotten, his eyes locked on the thing that was running around the restrooms, entranced with chasing a little butterfly. He abruptly signaled for the team to halt, and moved up to kneel next to Adam, shaking his head as he started to use hand motions to help punctuate what he was thinking
S**ts, its a crimsy. They're bad news. When simulations are going to well, back at base they throw handfuls of these things at us. Nasty s**t, but nothing we can't handle, but we're going to have to light them the hell up. Here. I know what we'll do.
Adam, you and me will edge along the right side of this courtyard, move through those 3 zombies, and head dead straight for that Crimson head. You'll screen me and chop up any zombies that come my way while I just rush the d**n crimsy with my shotgun and blow it to hell. 3 men will stay back in reserve and cover us, and we'll have a third man come up behind us just in case. Here, take my sidearm, its suppressed. Use it to help clear the way. That shotgun we gave you isn't suppressed so it won't count for much out here right now. Remember. We just want to deal with those 3 on the right. If you can, make sure they're the only ones we have to deal with. Its an open courtyard though. Stick very far to the right.
Watson handed a couple of 10 round extended magazines and his suppressed TFP issued Wilson custom combat CQB Elite .45 ACP M1911 to Adam, and then gave an informal signal that was along the lines of "Game on".

(Sorry it took me so long. Prepping for exams.)
Adam took the sidearm from Watson and quickly scanned the right side of the courtyard. There were only three zombies along that path and it would take them close enough to the Crimson Head for Watson to blow it to hell. He wasn't in charge for nothing.
Moving along the right side of the courtyard until he was about 20 yards from the first of the three zombies, Adam held up the .45 ACP and lined up the sights. He pulled the trigger twice and the zombie collapsed with two holes through its chest. He hadn't gotten the head or heart though, but he moved on to the next zombie anyway.
The last two of the three zombies were closer together and couldn't be taken on one at a time. He still had 8 rounds left in the magazine loaded in the pistol at that moment and there was no harm in using them. Holding the .45 ACP with both hands, he moved up on the two zombies as he lined up the sights again. As he pulled the trigger, he fired off two shots again. One shot nailed the closer of the two zombies through the shoulder, but the other shot missed completely. Quickly cursing under his breath, he adjusted his aim and fired a third shot trough the zombie's heart, leaving only one to deal with. This time, he didn't bother conserving ammo though. Turning on the last of the three zombies, he fired the last 4 rounds in quick sucession into the zombie's chest, effectively taking it down.
After looking to the left to check whether or not he had alerted any of the other zombies, Adam looked back toward Watson and gave an "all clear" sign.

Watson jogged up as soon as the 3 zombies were down, and started to draw his knife as the crimson head turned the corner of the public bathrooms again. He didn't plan to kill it with it, but he wanted its attention. He quickly threw the knife at the thing, and got off a good, lucky (to him) hit on its arm. The crimson head immediately stopped, turned, and glared at him, before it let out a primal howl. Just the closest 2 zombies looked as the howl echoed because the majority of them had gotten used to the crimson making so much noise.
Watson left those two that shuffled towards them (Only 5-6 yards away), and instead focused on the Crimson head that had broken out into a sprint at him. He shouldered his shotgun quickly and started pulling the trigger as fast as he can as soon as the crimson head came within 3 yards. After the first few rapid fire shots he started to yield to the recoil and take some steps back, but he kept firing. The pellets were so packed that all of them hit, and so many of these pellets were hitting its upper body its charged was broken, and it was thrown back. Watson emptied 6 rounds into its upper body with a faint yet resounding "Ping", accompanied by the soft clatter of plastic shotgun shells hitting the grass. He used the recoil to let the shotgun climb a bit from firing at its upper body and into its neck and jaw. The crimsons head literally was blown off, and 2 rounds were left in Watson's shotgun. He spun around to make sure Adam had everything handled, and tried to speed reload a couple more shells into his shotgun.
Meanwhile, a little farther away, the Crimson heads howl, and the ping was easily heard and detected by a pair of lickers, and the lickers started to try and ready themselves for an ambush, or a chase. The ping might not have been loud, but lickers by nature had incredibly great hearing.

Adam walked up to Watson while he was reloading his shotgun. "Here, take some if you're low," he offered, holding up his bandolier filled with shotgun cartridges. He then swapped out the magazines in the .45 ACP and loaded another bullet into the firing chamber.
He was only keeping half an eye on the other zombies around the area, but he still noticed it when one of them turned its attention on them and started making its way over. When he also saw another soldier in their group lining up the sights on his supporessed rifle though, he didn't move, realizing that it wasn't cool to steal someone else's kill. A moment later, the zombie was on the ground and this time the other zombies around the area were none the wiser.
Adam couldn't help but grin. So far, things had been almost too easy. The zombies hadn't been able to touch them and even a Crimson Head hadn't been a problem. Although he wouldn't usually call himself a humble person, he tried to never let things go to his head. This time, he failed. Heading out ahead of the group in the direction of the rendevous point, he was just able to think of himself as being invincible when he froze. He could hear hissing and scratching sounds a short distance away. He wouldn't have thought much of it had he not heard it before. For a moment, he stood still. After that, he pocketed the .45 ACP and quickly drew his sword again, standing in a ready position. With his quick draw of the weapon though, the ringing sound of metal on metal was clearly audible.
Hoping that the things that had made the hissing and scratching sounds couldn't hear his elevated heartrate and the quicker breaths, Adam stood as still as he could as he looked around ahead of him, trying to spot what it was that was making the sounds.

Adam unsheathing his sword echoed out through the park, and seemed like a banshee screech in the ears of the Lickers. The hissing started to get even more intense, to the point they almost sounded like growls, and suddenly they were coming from all over the place and past the parks wall. 3 lickers suddenly leaped over the walls and started to charge through the zombies to assault the 6 man team's left flank, while a remaining 2 continued to hiss from concealment right near Adam.
If he turned and ran back to help against the other three, they would surely charge. Like this, they may be vulnerable to his shotgun, or his sword if he can be quiet enough to get close to these blind BOWs. Maybe all of the suppressed and unsuppressed gunfire erupting behind him as the team tries to wipe out the lickers and remaining zombies would deafen the two lickers.

One of the quicker team members of the group suddenly barked out
"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"
One of the TFP personnel tossed out a cooked HE grenade into the midst of the zombies and lickers, which almost immediately detonated. Although HE grenades aren't as effective in the open, especially against zombies, he wasn't aiming for killing power. The concussive force along with the blinding light and defeaning sound of the explosive hand grenade going off tossed the infected wave apart, and stunned the ones not even in the direct eyebrow scorching blast. The lickers were pretty much stunned. Two TFP personnel turned around and opened fire at the same time as Adam did, and took out the threat to the rear, while the remaining 3 men wiped out the stunned wave of infected to their flank.
D**nit Watson, first the gunfire, now that? Get moving! F**k the left side of the park, just rendezvous at the end of the park! Go go go! You just stirred up the hornets---
Sergeant Middleton slowed to a stop at their end of the park and looked up as heard helicopter blades, and then hunted for a form flying through the air above them. They might be in luck and get some close air support. He quickly flipped out his PDA and checked the TFP Battle.net to find out whether any TFP or US Military assets were in the air near them, but found nothing. He moved towards the link the US Military had been able to jack into Raccoon airports air control, and identified the aircraft as an unknown helicopter that was essentially blacked out as far as registration and IFF coding went.
Look out boys, unknown helicopter above us. Keep moving, but watch your sixes.
Instead of the slow and steady approach, the 12 men of the team started to try and rush their way towards the other end of the park so they could exit the area.

The Copter Slowed And reached a thirty foot hovering over the Water treatment plant The Ropes lowered, The men spilling out in a well ordered movement, Going radio silent. And only communicated threw hand movements Each man moved as one, Like a well oiled machine They reached the door way to the stairs. Lining up, The Gas masked man Walked over to the The Buildings edge. It was easily two story's high. Two of the eight man team (not including the masked man.) split off when the masked one, Walked calmly over to the edge of the building and sat up next their Post.
Scoping out the Field below them with AK47's equipped with inferred acog sights. Giving a clear image of the battle Field below them. The undead were in a massive swarm. The Masked man gazed over the park below. Gun fire erupted as a second group attempted to reconnect with the First. The masked man tapped the two men on the shoulder, Signaling them to begin Observation
"Sir, forty plus Ghouls." There was a pause, The men at the entrance to the stairwell shuttered, as if over excited. The masked man turned and gazed at them. Shutting all Their racket up.
The masked man Ordered the Two snipers two go radio loud. As did he him self shifted on his Radio and Gave movement with his hands for the Remainder of his team To Proceed with a breach. The Snipers Scoped over the Field watching the group gather together. They waited quietly as they TFP Group rushed together, some in uniforms others in everyday clothing. The Men on the roof spoke into their radios after gathering their information.
"The armed one's Got a few Civ's by the look boss. Awaiting orders." The masked man paused mid movement his arms freezing in a breach command.
[glow=red,2,300]"Kill 'em,[/glow] or cripple 'em and let let the ghoul's tear 'em up... Just watch 'er head."
The masked man finished his movement and the men breached the roof. Gun shots ringing as they cleared the building. The men on the roof aimed down their sights. Picking out their target wisely, Choosing the stronger looking of the group. The other man went for a civilian. The two targets were on either ends of the group and would cause a panic threw out the group. They counted down. And let 3 round burst fly. not going fully loud and one shooting slower than the other to make their attacks seem More numerous.

As the HE grenade went off behind him followed by lots of gunfire, Adam recognized the change in thier situation. Stealth was no longer an option for them and he had just about figured out where the hissing was coming from. Drawing his father's unsilenced revolver in his off-hand, he ran toward the source of the hissing as fast as he could. Then, when he finally saw the two lickers, he was barely twenty feet away. Holding the revolver up, he fired a single loud shot off to the side. As soon as he did though, the two lickers knew exactly where he was, but an instant later, the bullet he had fired ricochetted off of a metal play slide. Connected to a metal pipe ladder, the slide was momentarily turned into a large tuning fork that let off a pro-longed "ping" followed by a humming sound and for a moment, the lickers were distracted and that was all that he needed. The first one was caught by his blade through the neck and it quickly fell from the tree it had been using as cover. The other one was in the midst of turning its head back to lash out with its tung, but its movement was disturbed when its right arm was suddenly detached from its body. Due to its animal-like position on all fours, the licker fell forward and Adam quickly drove his sword into the zombie's back through where he at least thought the heart was.
By then, the rest of the group was already moving forward toward the other team that had already reached the rendevous point. Now running instead of walking, it didn't take long for them to meet up. Somehow, in the mix of everything, Adam only then noticed the helicopter that had headed toward the water treatment plant. When he heard that it wasn't TFP, he could only sigh in mild frustration as he guessed what was going to happen next. "Alright, what's the plan, Searge?" he asked as he turned to the Seargant.
He had barely finished his question though when even more gunfire could be heard from the direction of the water treatment plant and Adam felt the wind of a bullet fly by his right side. "s***!" was all he could say as he stumbled back clumsily and fell into a tree trunk and fell around it so that he sat on the opposite side from where the shots had come from. For a moment, he seemed to space out as he realized that it was other human beings, not mindless zombies, that were trying to kill them this time.

Sergeant Middleton started to open his mouth to respond to Adam when a swarm of bullets started to zip through the air around them... specifically him, and one of the Ex-LEO's they'd pick up. The LEO dropped, but luckily for him, the second source of bullets was more focused on multiple bullets then one good one. The fire was practically a potshot by "I'm aiming standards".
TAKE COVER! SPREAD OUT!
The squad (At least, the TFP ones) immediately dispersed and took the nearest actual cover (Not concealment) they could find. For most of them that meant they sprinted out the gate of the park and took positions along the brick park wall. Others dove behind a statue, thick shrub wall, or low cement/brick structures. Still, they maintained at the most 20 yard distances between them (as if in a circle radius). The rest of the team, military or not, got the message quickly though. Middleton signaled for 2 of the guys with him at the parks outer wall to face outwards towards the streets, and then signaled for one of their designated marksmen down by the statue to take the shots. Watson in turn signaled for the civilians they'd brought along to use the M1A rifle they had (Usable for DM work) to join in. The squad designated marksman started to follow the sources of bullets based on angles of fire, tracers, and the TFP DM's thermal allowed him to gradually find his way to the two snipers. He immediately took a moment to ready himself for the shots, and started letting loose with the typical DM style of shooting; a lethal combination of aimed accurate fire and volume of fire. Combined with the Magpul Massoud, things didn't look good for the two AK-47 snipers. Once the first shots were going off though, with the third round being a tracer one, the LEO officer found the target too and started to let loose with the M1A as well with aimed accurate fire.
Watson and the rest of the teams meanwhile scanned the horizon and provided security as the men equipped to return fire returned fire to the snipers. Him and Adam had come along with Middleton to hug along the park walls, and were facing the street running parallel to the park staring down a handful of motley looking zombies who were being drawn towards the three of them by all the gunfire going off in the park.
Middleton on the other hand immediately started to relay reports to higher higher about the situation in the park, and call in UAV support, and put in intel queries.
