It was a long, hard, couple of minutes to escape the lockdown Charlie had created, but once she'd managed to get the hell out of dodge, he was missing. The dark woman growled and muttered under her breath as she scanned the local area. The streets were barren and the air on the island was cold and frigid. It wouldn't be long until sun down and now her damn partner had vanished. If those f**king soldiers hadn't jumped on her in the last minute, she would've been able to escape sooner!
Sighing, she shuffled through her belongings and pulled out a handheld GPS. There was a blinking light indicating where Charlie was. Seemed as if he was running back and fourth in a small area...Quirking an eyebrow, she played with the buttons and zoomed into the map to see he was in some hall way of a large building. That's where she needed to go. Fearing the worse, she pulled her handgun back out with one hand and kept the GPS in another, running full tilt through the streets.
She pushed and shoved moving corpses out of her way, trying to avoid being grabbed or munched on. She ducked beneath a lunging zombie and pushed passed another. They were beginning to litter the streets, unfortunately.
"Sonuva b*tch..." she said between breaths. She glanced down at the GPS again and then looked back up at the street signs. It wouldn't be all that long until she found him, hopefully...
A bit later, she'd came to a rather large facility. She'd managed to find her way inside via an entrance that had to have been unlocked and left unlocked by Charlie since it'd be too reckless for any Sincell diosticks to leave open. Along the halls and the upcoming staircase, there were dead bodies of the living dead with holes in their heads, sprawled about.
A little confused, Arognat grinned. "And he said he had no combat skills...Oh Charlie," she joked to herself as she descended the stairs. It wasn't long until she had heard some gunshots...but they weren't coming from just one gun and she could distinctively remember Charlie owning a crossbow, not a handgun...
"f**k! Charlie!" she shouted, jumping down some of the steps and then stumbling towards the next set of stairs. Swearing again, she grasped onto the stair well and leaped over, then grabbed onto another, swinging both legs over it and slamming the bottom of her boots against the pavement of the next island.
Down four more steps and she was in another hallway where the shooting had already stopped. Coming through, she looked back at her GPS to see she was closer to Charlie than she had thought. Entering through the hall, she saw him and another man standing infront of a closed elevator, chatting about something or other. Sighing with relief, she casually began to approach them when one of the bodies nearby had started moving about and crawling towards the men. It reached it's arms out and grasped onto Charlie's leg, opening it's mouth wide.
Before it could take a bite, a shot rang off in the air and a bullet shot through it's head. The lifeless corpse lulled it's head back then forward, it's grasp loosening on the man's leg.
Smiling widely, she put her weapon away and waved at the two. "Hey there! Miss me, much? And who the hell is that?"

Charlie turned around and smiled. "Impecable timing Arrow." He said as he fed more shells into the Spaz shotgun. He then gestured to his partner. "This is Kent. He managed to jump from the chopper before it crashed. Unfortunatly he hit his head pretty bad and is suffering from some memory loss. I caught him up to speed on the basics." Going to the elevator doors he grabbed one side and began pulling. Even with both their strength it was hard to open the elevator door without power.
"This is the generator facility. We're going to jump-start this puppy and set up the security network to slow Sincells goons. They're strong but not smart. I can get us past security and we're a small group so we'll be faster. If we play it right we can get to the labs before they do, bust it up and barracade ourselves in until backup arrives." He then pulled hard on the door again moving it another inch. "That's the plan in a nutshell."

Arognat quirked an eyebrow as she watched the men attempt to pry open the elevator doors. Reaching behind her waist she pulled out a long, slightly curved iron pipe she'd gotten from back in that club. It was pretty sturdy...not to mention it helped her open a few doors on the way here.
The woman approached the men and stuck the curved end between the sliding, metal doors and started pulling one side back with Charlie. Straining herself a little, the woman winced and continued to pull on the side of the door until it started to open up slowly. Then it stopped all together leaving a little room to peek inside.
Nudging her face up against it, she peered in, shining her flashlight inside. The elevator wasn't there...but instead was halfway down the shaft. Pulling back, she glanced between Kent and Charlie.
"The elevator's blocking our way down...We may have to climb up or climb down, go through the roof of the thing and pry our way into the next floor where the elevator's stopped. Unless you two have a better idea. I'm just muscle, I was recruited to kill things," she joked on the last part.

Chalse looked down nervously. "And I'm not. I'm not sure if I can make it down." He admitted looking at her. Once again he had to admit that he wasn't a soldier. He stepped close to the edge and looked down. It was a good three story drop to the roof of the elevator. To the right was a ladder but it all still made him shudder. It was best that he go first before another wave of undead came along He then looked at Kent. "I'll go first, make sure you pump the door closed once inside." He said pointing at the pressure mechanism inside. "Last thing we need is to be trapt in a pit full of zombies." Shaking out his nervousness he reached out and grabbed the ladder. Still shaking he began climbing down. As he did the moans of the undead from the upper floor began growing louder as one appeared in the hallway.

Kent turned at the shot, already bringing his AUG up. But it seemed Charlie knew her, and once he confirmed it was Arrow, he just gave her a curt nod and resumed trying to pry open the doors, which went faster with the bar being used, plus them both pulling it open. He commented on his head injury, pretty much repeating what he had told Charlie earlier. He also took a peak down the shaft, and looked in where he had pointed, making sure he saw the mechanism.
"Well, jumping from a chopper can lead to head injuries, see your doctor before before taking any dosage. Arrow, you're next, I'll follow and make sure the door gets closed on the way down. Plan's about as good as any, so let's get it done."
Kent raised his AUG, sighting the first ghoul, and patiently took the first shot, putting it down. He would swing in after Arrow and Charlie, until then he would cover them with steady shots, not letting himself get hurried or rushed, unless he started making mistakes and misses, which he couldn't afford. He had to conserve his ammo if they ran into serious trouble. That included these Sincell goons, he had no doubt that, even if they slowed them down, they would have to fight the ones who were tough enough to make it to their barricades, or if they had to kill any that made it there before them.

Arognat had watched patiently as Charles climbed down to the top of the elevator. Once he began to head down, she leaped forward and latched herself onto the thick rope holding up he elevator. When Charles had finally landed on the roof, the elevator began to creak and before they could react it went whirring down, luckily Arognat had grasped onto Charles' hand, holding onto him and the rope as a loud crash was heard down below.
The woman winced and tried her hardest to hold on before feeling her grip loosen a little, causing her and Charles to slip downward. Again, thanks to her gloves, she caught grip around the rope and the two were directly infront of open elevator doors.
"Are you alright?" she asked of her partner, wincing as she felt her shoulder pop. "Try to grab onto the ladder again....I don't wanna drop ya...Kent! You okay up there?!" she called up.

"HOLY SH*T!" He cried out thinking he was dead. After awhile he opened his eyes and realised Arognat was holding him up. Following her instructions he carefully edged over to the side platform and grabbed onto the ladder handle for dear life. "Why does this stuff ALWAYS happen!!?" He growled with frustration. He then looked up at Arognat. "Need any help getting down?" He asked. The least I could do." While the two dealt with the troublesome elevator another zombie walked on the scene. Quickly their was a loud snapping sound and it stopped just before its head lopped off and fell on the floor motionless. Out of the darkness a Licker appeared and started to feed on the corpse. That was until the smell of living flesh entered it's nostrals and it spotted Kent keeping watch at the elevator doors.

Kent heard the loud curse and snapped his head down, seeing them hanging on for dear life. But they were alright, so he turned back to see another zombie enter view, and go down. Then one of those Licker's started eating at it, and he could of swore they met eyes and actually saw each other at the same time. He ducked and moved sideways, and it lashed out with that tongue of it's, flying into the opening and sending a bit of coagulated blood out. Kent swapped to a three shot burst, and fired once, then twice, blowing apart it's torso and then its head, scowling at it's dead body. After making a quick sweep, he leaned his head to see how they were doing. He swung back, and noted that another zombie was coming around. He slowly sighted, taking his time to set the shot up and took it down. He yelled down, pretty much updating the situation.
"You two may want to get moving, we got Lickers and an increasing level in zombies. They are getting closer. Holler up once you've got the way down opened, don't want to trap us in case you have trouble."
Kent drug some pieces of wreckage in front of the passage way, making a series of incredibly makeshift barricades, but would trip up anything trying to stagger through them, and would give him something to crouch behind in case something larger came along. He would hold out as long as possible, then slip through the opening and promptly close the doors, blocking any advance, at least temporarily. Slowly, more zombies were showing up, and he took a kneeling stance, firing steadily, not allowing himself to get hurried, setting up the shots and taking down the trickle of one or two zombies. The fire would attract more, and probably Lickers and other mutations and BOWs, but hopefully the doors would be sealed by that time. He reloaded, pocketing the empty clip for if he found boxed 5.56mm ammo to reload the clip with, and kept an ear out for more yelling or anything unusual.

Arognat could hear Kent sending of rounds and his hollering from upabove, but she wasn't pay all too much attention, since she was dangling on the rope, extending her hand to Charles' in an attempt to get onto the ladder safely. Once she got there, she looked back up and grinned.
"Come on down, Kent! We're gonna use the ladder. No sense in letting you wait til we hit the ground!" she called up. As she said that, she waited for Charles to begin descending the steps. Once he was, she started to climb down, cautiousof her steps. It would be atleast ten or fifteen minutes to climb down.
"If you're upto it, why don't you slide down the ladder? It'll make it faster," she commented to Charles. Again, she glanced up to make sure Kent was following after.
"You alright there, Kent?"

Kent dropped one more zombie before pulling himself inside the elevator shaft and began working the pressure mechanism to close the doors. They were almost closed when a Licker lashed out, sending the tongue in and getting it cut off by the amount of force on both sides pushing in. The severed tongue plummeted down the shaft, and Kent began climbing down the ladder, and checked how much room he had between him and Arognat. Plenty, so he began a controlled slide to make up for the time he had lost fighting the dead upstairs, stopping close to the two so he could continue climbing without running them off the ladder. He had heard the question before working on the doors, and replied now, without having to yell down a shaft again.
"I'm fine, let's keep moving though. Need to get power running before Sincell beats us there."
Kent kept it short and to the point, concentrating on getting out of the elevator shaft before giving more elaborate tidbits of chatter.

Arognat continued to climb down the ladder above Charles. She nodded and agreed with Kent about the getting going, part. She wanted nothing more than to accomplish their mission and head back to base and see her husband. She was actually starting to miss him at this point.
((Sorry for the short post, kinda in a hurry.)) "Ya know, next time we should bring Elijah. That'd spice things up and maybe this whole damn mission would be more lively!" she said more toherself than to anyone else.

Charlie looked up confused. "Who the h*ll is Elijia?" He asked somewhat winded by the climb. He was relieved at finally finding the ground floor. "I think you forget just how alone we are out here. If you have any local friends best let us know." He commented lifting a light to the control panel. Looking it over he pulled out two small picking tools and began moving wires around. After clamping things down he pulled a chord from his bag, charged the panel and after a few sparks their was a ping unlocking the doors. Using all of his strength he pulled open the doors revealing a long corridor.
Climbing in he drew out his shotgun. It was odd, he wasn't hearing a thing but the echo's of his own footsteps. "Maybe it's not as bad as I thought down here." He commented. It wasn't until he was a good five yards into the room that he realised the floors next to the walls were lined with dead bodies slumped on the floor. The second he jumped he watched as they began stirring. "Sh*t..." He muttered. Finding the closest moving corpse he aimed his shotgun and blew its head off as twelve others stood up and turned their attention on him.

Kent didn't bother wasting his breath on replying to her comment at the moment. It wasn't the time for it. He concentrated on moving fast enough to get down fast, but slow enough he didn't plow into anyone. If only they would just slide down the ladder, it would make things so much faster. They reached the bottom though, and Kent unslung his AUG, and helped Charlie open up the doors. He looked down the hallway, seeing the dead bodies. Then Charlie had to say it wasn't so bad down here, then the dead started getting up. He sighted the nearest zombie, firing and blowing its head apart, while commenting on the situation.
"Did you really have to say it wasn't so bad down here? Things ALWAYS get worse when someone says something like that!"
Kent settled his aim on another zombie, firing and dropping it. He would keep this steady pace up until they were all down or required a change in pace. He took his time, not allowing himself to get rushed and start missing, remembering his training and what he had learned from various other mercenaries he had worked with against the undead. They were in no hurry, why should he be in one?
