That was all completely understandable. With Jazari extending her hand, it was progress of trust. Even though that wasnt something that came easily these days, it was good progress. However, Clarissa knew it wouldnt come to anything drastic, because she wasnt going to fully turn. If she hadnt in the last year, then it wasnt going to happen ever. She never wanted to think of it as a curse, more like a gift that was accidentally delivered to her, and she always made good use of it. But this time, Clarissa didnt want to shake her hand, because their might be consequences.
Without trying to sound rude, she spoke it off with the truth. "I.. Cant. Its not like a spell, Vampiric Abilities are different, and im still not in fully control of them yet. I still have a hunger I need to resist, and touching your hand might trigger one of those skills. Sorry, but thanks for welcoming me, I dont get that all too often anymore." As much as she wanted to keep a normal conversation going, Clarissa jumped right into the more serious one with the Kahjit. "I can make myself blend in with the vampires, at least ones that wouldnt know the difference. Maybe I can help you get the jump on the Jarl of Riften."

Qahnaarin contemplated this choice and shook his head they would need more than a few Dawnguard and a mage. He thought long and hard before making a choice. He didn't want any more casualties than necessary. He knew of the Companions' secret for some time now but refused to fight against them but didn't allow them sanctuary at the fort. They killed many Vampires with ease and were openly recruiting. He decided that it was time to contact them.
"It is time to contact the Companions about an alliance." He said simply.

Jazari accepted Clarissa's apology with good grace and listenned to her proposal. it would be good to have a master level mage on their side, however with the few dawnguard they had, Qahnaarin's plan would surely end with many casualties, and with the few dawnguard left, unexceptable.
"It is time to contact the Companions about an alliance." said Qahnaarin. "yeah, its time." she said with care, she looked at Qahnaarin seriously, she too knew the companions secret. "If it goes through though we will probably have to shelter them here at the fort. Im pretty sure their circle will behave, as will the rest of them." Jazari looked back at the rest of the ensembled dawnguard. "That still leaves us with snatching the vampire jarl though. I had a contact with the thieves guild during the civil war. If i can contact her then maybe Clarissa and I can get closer to the blue palace via the ratways while you guys get all the attention."

The thing was, Clarissa was nowhere near good in combat as far as thinking went. If she was going to fight, she would do it wouldnt any thought because she had that much faith in her skills. But fighting maybe wasnt her strong suit, because of how she used her skills in the past. Maybe this was the time to put it all behind her, and start her new life. Forget about all of the people shes killed, and just move on. "So we get in contact with those blessed with lycanthropy, ill make the journey, shouldnt take longer than a day, and ill be back in no time..."
Convincing them wasnt going to be the issue, it was whether or not they could be trusted. They always say the enemy of your enemy is your friend, but that proved to be a lie as of lately. "...We both want the same thing, right? So lets go gather them up! If we leave now, we can be there by morning, and back before the next nightfall." Only a short while inside the walls of Fort Dawnguard, and Clarissa had been eager to help. Her energy was probably more than the rest, but her meaning was pure. The sooner they did what the needed to do, the sooner they would get that scroll. She was just happy to be around people that werent going to try and kill her, or treat her badly.

Seeing as the Vampires had Auriel's bow, day was just as dark as night. Just as long as the group didn't bring attention to themselves everything would be easy. If they left as soon as the sun was blocked out, they would arrive at the fortress the Companions were occupying.
"Everybody rest, for we have a journey ahead of us tomorrow!" Qahnaarin called to those who were going to be joining him.

Jazari nodded, "alright Qahnaarin, we'll all meet at the gates first thing in the morning." she looked at Clarissa, "If you'll follow me i'll show you to your bed for the night. it doesn't matter if your human, vampire or inbetween, we all need to rest."

"Kay." There wasnt much else to say. As she was taken to the room she was going to be staying in, Clarissa looked in awe at the rest of the building, or at least whatever she was going. It had been a pretty large room, with quite a few beds inside. Some were taken by people that were already sleeping, so she kept quiet. As her new "friend" wished her goodnight, she herself left the room.
Sleep wouldnt come that night, however. Clarissa already slept through the day, knowing it was safer to travel at night. The vampires didnt bother her much, if at all, and only people gave her a hard time during the "day". So generally she moved at night, the real night, and slept during the "day".
After about fifteen minutes of resting her feet, Clarissa sat back up, and then left the room quietly. Avoid any sounds of people talking, she explored the rest of the fort, eventually finding her way up to the roof, where she had a great view of the snowy region mountain side. Her bearings were easily caught, Riften hadnt been too far to the west down the train, but she seen a few caves around the area that mightve even lead through said mountains. Exploring the wilderness wasnt going to happen tonight, but while she was up here, alone, she could practice her spells.

The sun rose and was extinguished as soon as it lit the world. Qahnaarin was ready as soon as he awoke needing only his weapons and the little bit of clothing he normally wore. He went to the main lobby and waited for the others. His mind had been made up since the night before on what he planned to do when they met the Companions.

Jazari slowly walked down the stairwell to the lobby. she had her weapons, armor, arrows and some potions with her. she hadnt had a good nights sleep so she was somewhat groggy, though that would pass shortly. "hey Qahnaarin," she said groggily, "have a good night's sleep? because i sure didn't."

As early dawn approached, Clarissa could hardly even tell because of the covered up sky. The length of her magelight lasted a long, long time, but the aid of her conversion spells made sure that she could preform had they been attacked during the night. On the off chance, anyways. There had been motion coming from inside the fort now, and she knew that everybody was waking up. Soon they would head out, unless they had anymore plans before taking off.
After a few seconds, the girl cut down her spells, and then walked back down from the roof of the fort. Nobody seemed to question her just yet, but as she got down from the steps, people had been looking at her. A proper introduction to the rest of the group never happened yet, so when she approached her two new aquaintences, Clarissa spoke out with sincerity in her voice. "Whos coming with us? I dont mean any disrespect, but the less people know about me the better."

"Well since Qahnaarin could smell the blood sucker in you. Werewolves will catch it a lot quicker." Qahnaarin explained to Clarissa. He knew that they would not trust them if they worked with someone who smelled like a Vampire. It would make it even harder for them to give him the gift that they have. A werewolf could bring hell to a Vampire Lord. If they gave their gift to a member of the Vampire hunters who could use that gift even better. Qahnaarin was ready to accept this gift.

Harkon walked along side his new guest, someone who's armies could ruin Tamriel alone. With the help of Harkon's ever growing army, they would be able to destroy the world. The Tsaesci who spoke with Harkon discussed possible battle plans and aiding Harkon in his war against humanity.

"yeah, no kidding." Jazari said, the grogginess had mostly passed by now, her smelling salts had taken care of that. "During the civil war I was ordered to kill what would later be revealed as a werewolf. I Tracked him for 3 day's, all the time remaining down wind from him. then a split second of wind from my back made him realise i was tracking him and he created an ambush." she grinned, "luckily, I managed to spot the trap and went in prepared, apart from a new scar" she pointed to the scar below her eye, "I survived."

Clarissa wanted to share a story, but felt like maybe it wasnt very appropriate for her to do so. The companions werent enemies of her, but they didnt exactly like her all too much. There had been one in particular though, they taken a liking to her when she was living in Whiterun. Not like she got involved with them, but had worked together a number of times. It wasnt until youve actually worked together with a vampire that you know how much power they have compared to some humans. In her eyes, and a few of the companions', both vampires and werewolves were brothers and sisters, outcasted by the humans.
"Ive taken quite a few down myself..." But really, Clarissa was lying. She hadnt hurt a single one, at least no true ones. The natural born werewolves who have gone feral, and retain their animal form, shes killed plenty of them. But the ones who hide from the human, they were the only friends she had, because they werent much different from her. "Anyways, I can scout ahead if youd like. Ive a keen sense for vampires, and I dont mean scent, I mean instinct. The less detection by them, the better, right?"

Kroric walked slowly down the main road through Riverwood. Soft rain created a relaxing drone as it misted the entire region. It was suppose to be daylight out but since the vampires had began blacking out the sun a constant night claimed Skyrim. Neither of these things affected Kroric, in fact he prefered the rain, and the darkness. The rain put him at ease, he almost felt in tune with nature and the divine. And the night was simply his favorite time to be out and about anyway, as I child he would slip away from the college and practice skills in hopes of someday going on adventures with his father. Something that would never happen now. Even seven years since the brutal slaughter of his family the Altmer/Breton still carried his hatred for the vampiric race. And now that the world was run by them it was almost an ironic smack in the face to him. Something that with every fiber of his body he would resist until he died.
From behind his dark hood Kroric's golden eyes flicked from side to side. They had locked onto something moving through the village in the shadows. A split second later his eyes adjusted and he could make out three vampires prowling around, one on the roof and two on the ground. He could tell by the way they moved that they were new, baby vamps. He even cracked a smile when the first one approached him with fangs at the ready.
"You shouldn't be traveling at night by yourself, Mer. Oh wait its always night now! Sucks to be you." The vamp must have found himself very funny as he laughed just before diving at Kroric.
In a blink a spell would light up around Kroric making him as bright as day for an instant and burning the baby vampire. When the vamp retracted his attack he found that he was in perfect distance for a massive ice spear to materialate from the surrounding rain and promptly impaling him to the nearest building going straight through his heart. The other two vamps didn't appreciate this in the least.
The second one on the ground charged giving the mage the time he needed to pull out his bow. As the enemy came in range Kroric used he sharp, pointed design of the Daedric bow to his advantage. Swinging it like a club he caught the second vamp in the face knocking it to the ground. A moment later an arrow was pulled back and nocked, then was sent flying into the third vampire as he pounced from the roof top.
Two vampires dead and another recovering. The mage showed no mercy for the abominations. He turned and held out the palm of his hand toward the last remaining. Without a word flames engulfed the blight and raged until the body stopped squirming. Silence filled the village once again. Kroric left the remains where they lay. A sign to any other vampires around, and addition to the wake of vampire dust Kroric had been leaving in his wake for a long time.
He continued his walk down the road and across a bridge. At the top of the ridgeline he could hardly make out a few faint glows from behind the sheets of rain. He knew that what he was looking toward was none other than Whiterun. One of the few villages that seemed to stand the test of time. The Jarl was doing his best to fight back the onslaught of vampires. Kroric knew this hold, of all in Skyrim would be the best place to lay low and stock up on fresh supplies and the basics he needed to continue his journeys.
Following a small trickling stream of water down the mountainside the avenger made his way to Whiterun.

Qahnaarin set out, leading the group of Vampire hunters along the countryside headed toward Whiterun. It would take them a day's walk to get to Falkreath, and another to get to Whiterun. This did not take into account finding a Companion who had not been put to the sword by the Vampires. He did not intend to stop at any point of the day and if any needed to rest he would simply carry them.
It was true night when they reached the outskirts of Falkreath. The town was in complete control of the Vampires. They were even using the pit in the prison to hold a werewolf who had been attacking the town single handedly to try and kill all of the Vampires. It was unsafe to rest but the town needed to be cleansed.
