Kevin smiled. He would show off and go for at least a lap highier then her. She love swimming from Kevin's perspective, It was the only guess he had to come with. He floated on his back, Glancing at her. Kevin was more of the person who not only did the water training like he did in the marines, but free for alls as his comfort spot. Did some back strokes around her. "Did you take swimming class back in school?" he asked, maybe hoping to be jealous about the fact when he had school, they had a pool but wasn't to be used on the condition of the school and the nature of their students.

"Highschool? No. But growing up here in Vegas after the outbreak, I spent a lot of my free time swimming, it was my exercise when I wasnt out in the field scavenging. In this same pool, actually, come to think about it..." It was funny how Sherry didnt even remember until now. Not that it was a big part of her life, but it was the primary source of exercise, and what she enjoyed most about the heat of the sun. However, something she regrets not ever being able to do when she was younger was swim in the ocean, it was always at an indoor pool, sometimes outdoors depending on where they went. Maybe it was part of why she took interest in swimming, so if she ever got herself into a situation where she needed to swim, she could do it anywhere without any fears.
"...Im not a pro, im sure youve learned skills than I have from your time in the military. Ive never seen it as anything other than exercise, any relaxation after a hot day of working in the sun. Some people came home to gambling, other liked to catch movies, but I always went for the pool." Once she got her break in, Sherry swam back and fourth once again, pausing every no and then to tell her story between strokes. "Have you ever swam in the ocean?" Maybe it was a bit of a silly question, Kevin was a lot older than her, he would have more experience. But it was something Sherry wanted to know, something she never got to do when she was younger.

Kevin duck low were the water was at his neck. "A few times," He said to her. He ducked his head in and out of water keeping his face soaked. "Went to Wild Wood, New Jersey. The Water there is extremely cold. On the hottest of days, Me and my brothers would race into the ocean from the board walk all the way down to the water." He watch Sherry swim little by little. "Then There's basic. Pretty much when you're in the middle of ocean, you have this...Feeling. Its like..." Kevin tried to find the words that were appropriate. "Time has no meaning, Its just you and whatever is swimming under ya'. After That, it was pretty much the last time I've been at the deep blue sea"

For the moment that Kevin was talking, Sherry has swam out to the middle of the pool, and just lay floating there, listening to his words. She pretended that it was the ocean, that she was in the middle of the ocean. No boats for miles, no coasts for tens of miles. For that moment, and after Kevin spoke, it was almost as if time did stop. The bottom of the pool was too low to reach, and the lack of indoor lighting at the peak afternoon time gave the effect that there was only the sunset glowing in the sky, still raying down on her face as her eyes were closed. "Lucky..." Sherry spoke out to Kevin, still keeping her eyes closed, relishing the moment.
But just than, there was the slam of a door in the entrance way to the pool area. Sherrys eyes shot open, but before she could face the direction, a body had been launched inside the door, slashing water in her face. Going under, she kicked for the edge of the pool, and as her eyes finally came into sight, there had been two children playing in the door, and a month scolding them for not watching where they jumped. Looking parallel across the poolside to Kevin, Sherry just smiled, and laughed to herself as Kevin did.
Going back under the water, Sherry swam to the other side once again, but when she came up the edge, Kevin had already been out of the pool and holding out his hand for her. "Well, I got my workout in for the evening, anyways..." Having a helping hand out of the pool, Sherry had walked around, and grabbed a towel that had been beating in the sun on the patio. Wrapping it around her, she finished what she was saying. "...You head on back to the room, im gonna take my time in the bathroom, first. Kay?"

Kevin Ackownledged her choice and went back to the changing room and headed on back. He walked back to the room and kept a good eye on Sherry From the front balcony. But it was more like something was watching him. He looked around, just being normal as possible. Nothing seemed out of place nor no one seem to be watching him or Sherry. He shrugged it off and went back inside. He picked up the remote for the flat screen TV and flipped on some channels and found the weather channel and just listen to the Anchors talk about today's weather. He walked into the other, drying his hair.

As Kevin had went away, Sherry was already in the bathroom, messing about with her hair and her dry clothes. She didnt really have any change, but the once everything was dry she could put it back on. So for now she would go with her tanktop and sweat pants. It wasnt like the place was jammed packed with tourists or creepy guys just trying to get a see, she felt more home here than anywhere else shes been in the last five years. Luckily enough the highlights in her hair had been faded away before she got into the pool, though, otherwise there would have been a whole lot of work to clean out the water.
After fifteen minutes of doing her thing, Sherry walked back through the hotel, and got back to their room. Kevin had already been inside, laying on the bed and watching the TV. It was just the weather, in the nearby area, local broadcasting had still been in effect. That was something that even she didnt expect to be up and running this quickly, but it was nice to know that some things never change. The weather had been talking about a clear night, which was exactly what they needed after all for a mission. "Looks like its gonna be a good night for doing some work. Its going on eight o clock, lets say we head out around ten just to make sure he have everything packed and ready. Wont be coming back here, if anywhere, we can call in for an evac chopper in the morning, or whenever our work here is done."

Kevin looked at his watch. It read 20:58.43 (8:58pm) their mission had been for about 4400 hours. He got up and look at her. "Right" They had about two hours. Both Kevin and Sherry were about to get ready get to work. This time might be perfect to plan their search for Chinook. "Vegas is pretty big just looking for one person." He told her, there was also the fact, again, he could patch in into their comms and talk, make his choice. He had some sort of gut feeling that HQ wouldn't let them leave Vegas, but then on the other hand he had been wrong a few times. "Is there any places that he'll occasionally go to? maybe just sit him down at a resturant or something." It was a good idea unless Sherry had another plan that was better.

"Its been too long since I really saw him, other than last night. I have a feeling that hes not in Vegas, but at the same time, maybe hes just trying to blend in. If so, he could be in a number of different places. Somewhere quiet is out of the question, unless its private, like a hotel room. Somewhere busy is an idea, more people to route through just to find him. I think we could radio him, whether or not hes going to answer is another question..." Really though, it was impossible to tell where he could be, there was no way of tracking him, other than the radio. But even if that it couldnt be done easily because the frequencies were different than hers.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and Sherry immediately lunched for her Python the the bedside table, just barely pushing Kevin off to the side when she did this. Point it at the door, she waited for a voice before going near. It was paranoia, it was safety, it could have been anybody. Nobody knocks on the hotel doors, this is suppose to be a private room. Nobody knows their here, this was a very covert operation. If HQ was going to send in backup, even if it was just one person, they wouldnt have came like this.
The whole time, Sherry had counted the seconds that passed, eight of them, nine of them. On the tenth, she moved forward and opened the door with the gun still in her hand. But there was nobody standing there. Kevin had been ready for anything himself, which was good, but now seeing it was nobody, not even accidental hotel service or something. Before closing the door, Sherry looked down to the ground for a second, noticing a slip of folded paper. Picking it up, she looked around the corner, not seeing anybody. After stepping back inside the room, she closed the door, and opened the paper with her free hand, reading it out loud. "Dont blame yourselves, a nightly swim never hurt anybody. The room is bugged with cameras, somebody came in while you were out. ~John C."

Kevin heard the knock on the door. Can't be. How would any know we're here? Sherry took action, pushing him aside and waiting at the door. Kevin wait behind the door so he'd get the drop on who ever is coming in. They waited a full ten seconds before she could open the door and when she did she picked something up off the ground, he walked over looking at what it was is a folded paper. She read it out loud. "Don't blame yourselves, a nightly swim never hurt anybody. The room is bugged with cameras, somebody came in while you were out. ~John C"
Kevin looked around the room then at Sherry. "Is this some kind of sick joke?" he asked with annoyance in his voice. It was one thing patching into their comms, but bugging a room was really invading privaacey, which went out the window these days. He wanted to go through this room looking for this camera. but he couldn't imagine were to begin. It not only annoyed Kevin, but it also creeped him out as well that he would plant hidden cameras in their room.

As Kevin spoke, Sherry could only try and piece things together. It couldnt have been Chinook, he was trying to warn them without giving himself away. There wasnt any audio coming from the camera, otherwise the pair would have already been screwed as far as getting out loose information. Video survailence was enough for whoever was doing this. It wasnt Chinook, that was for sure, he wasnt even using his real name. "His name is David, not John. He was trying to hide his identity from somebody. We havent even came in contact with anybody, least nobody that would care enough to do anything this professional..." It crossed Sherry than who did this, it was the Tricell agent that came in contact with them before this. He split for a reason, but had been following them for the entire trip to Vegas. It was the only thing she could think of. "Kevin, that Tricell agent, he mustve been following us, trying to get a lead on the location of Chinook."
Sherrys radio went off, and it startled her a little bit. Assuming it was HQ just aquiring an update on the mission, she walked over to the nightstand, and than picked up the headset, placing it over hear ear. Without thinking too much about it, she pushed a swithed, and a voice instantly came out before she could say anything. "Dont respond to this, or change facial expression. You and your partner need to meet me in the room above the one your in, room 407. Id rather help you than help Tricell, but I too need help with something. Room 407, the lock is blocked off by a playing card, door will be able to be opened easily. Dont be followed, act casual, noise complaints or something."
Without making an sudden moves, Sherry answered the radio with her own voice before shutting it off. "Yes captain, everything here in Vegas is fine. Ill report back tomorrow for direct extraction, over and out." Since the line was bugged through her audio output, whatever she said would be what Tricell was hearing. But once the radio was off now, Sherry could talk to Kevin, and tell him the plan. "Chinook wants us to meet him in room 407, it sounds important. But we have to pretend like its something normal, like noise complaints, not an important meeting. Give the cameras a show. His room isnt bugged, once were in there, everything can begin..." Sherry wasnt exactly sure what 'everything' meant, but her and Kevin would find out soon enough.

As she was on the radio Kevin looked both ways outside and closed the door. When he looked at her as she got off. He could of swore HQ had called but when she changed the story. He didn't both changing his express, he just watched her. Seemed like everything was bugged, but one thing was he was glad It wasn't Chinook, but still it creeped him out. Yet still, they were being watched so a show couldn't be that bad. He looked up at the ceiling. "Well that guy did think I had a thing for ya, soo..." Kevin poined up at the ceiling looking at her, putting on the show. "let's get to it." he got up and walked over to the door. He walked up out as she followed close, closing the door behind them. As part of the act he took her hand, holding it as part as the act. *** (Marissa Fransah entering) two weeks later... Marissa pulled up by a place right by the Mirage hotel. She was actually parked at a small shopping district. After (or at least she thought) she was over her brother's death. She looked at some files she got from her brother's villa. He seem to be working with some guy from Tricell on leagal doctuments or some crap, she didn't speak "lawyer", she spoke "kick ass". it seems like the guy he had seen was when Tricell was getting start to make its way through the Market. She went through more papers after that it got boring. She took the paper and then looked up the name "Ahute" using the latest hacking military solfware and hardware. She managed too fine alot about the guy. He was a native American Merc. Merc hunting Merc. How sweet. she looked over at the hotel and watched everyone enjoying there time. couldn't help but grunt. She saw a couple holding hands heading on the third floor. Love made her smile a bit hadn't been in that situation. They stopped at a door and waited, she got a good look at the womens boyfriend, but the face seemed to be familier. Try to get a get a good look but they were already walking in. There was a gut feeling she had to listen in on this. she got a small direction Micophone, she set it on the dashboard, placed a mini tape, and placed her skullcandy headphone on her so she could hear the conversation. Or maybe some perv show. It was perfectly fine since she'd look like any other person out on the streets. She just pulled the chair back and listen in.

A little bit avoidant when Kevin held onto her hand, Sherry enevitebly just let it slide, and smiled. This wasnt what she had in mind, but it was quick thinking none the less. Thats what she looked for in a good partner. Seeing the woman pass them by, Sherry nodded at her, smiling as if to show off that they were a couple, but without making it seem to phony. As the pair got to the door, she opened it up, and then Kevin held the door open for her, allowing her to enter. As Sherry stepped inside, the door closed over, and the room had been empty. Looking around, she knew the place wasnt bugged, but kept a calm and collective mood just on the off chance. After a minute, and nearly concluding that they were in the wrong room, or something else came up, Sherry went back for the door.
A voice came out from the patio of the room once the screen door opened, and Chinook had finally stepped inside and showed himself. "What if the Las Vegas Massacre wasnt an accident? What if Tricell had been behind it, purposely letting the infected into the city limits without anybody even noticing? Everybody was too busy trying to kill them all to even notice what actually was going on, myself included. I know they had something to do with it, I just know it. The boys ive worked with in the LVS, they werent rookies, they wouldnt have let something like this happen, it wasnt a mistake. Accidents happen, sure, but nothing like this..."
Sherry listened to Davids words, but before she even opened her mouth to speak again, he kept going. Trying not to feel rude, she listened again, knowing he only had important things to say. "...If it was Tricell, what were they trying to accomplish? I dont exactly know, but maybe the whole plot was to get some of their own personell involved in the LVS. If they could get somebody on the inside, they they could start getting information, keep up the distribution of BOW. Am I making any sense to you guys?" Sherry understood exactly what he was getting at, but only giving a nod, she waited for a response from Kevin before giving her two cents.

Kevin had his mouth open. "It's possible. If you had asked me when the Las Vegas Massacre had happen I would of said you're nuts." He looked at David then at Sherry then back at him again. "We stopped at another house to stay low but A Tricell agent busted in and try to get answers. He was actually looking for you. The guy followed us but we ditched him at the Highway. But what I can't understand is why would Tricell want you." *** Marissa listen carfully as she looked through document. There was small not writen by his brother about a tip off by a local about a few people lettings a few infected into the city and a executive of Tricell threating him to keep quiet or they would kill them but it states further down that his wife and kids were in the Las Vegas Massacre. She set that with the other paper on the seat, with the of paper of importance. She lit a cigarette listen to the conversation more. The voice though...sounded fermiliar...All she could do was listen.

"Do you even need to ask? Tricell probably knows that im onto them, and at the rate im going, I think its all true. I know its all true, when I get a feeling, im rights. Its how I lived my life before, and im still alive because of it. I told you two because your working for the BSAA, and you are in control of the higherups. Well, maybe not in control, but more than me. You could think of it as sort of a "witness protection", but now that its under my responsibility, im the one protecting you guys from whoever is behind all of this... Hand me you radio." Listening to Chinooks words, Sherry took off her earpeice, and handed it over to the man. In a matter of second, he fiddled with it, knowing exactly which frequency to set to avoid any sort of tracking.
Looking at Kevin, Sherry knew that the mission had really changed up at this point, both of them knew it. This was something bigger, and being on a completely Black Operation, they could take control the of the mission now without anymore clearance from HQ. "Its worth investigating, for several obvious reasons... Kevin, what do you think?"

Kevin placed a hand on his back neck, as he handed his ear pieace over to David Chinook. "Its a hell of a good start," He said he turn toward Sherry. "Survalance cameras probably dating back on the Massacre. There should be videos on them, They usually have twelve hour worth of footage." He looked back at David. "Maybe there is something odd that the officals didn't pick up." *** Marissa Multitasked, getting information from Tricells file and documents from her brother's villa and listening in. " but now that its under my responsibility, im the one protecting you guys from whoever is behind all of this... Hand me you radio" She flicked ashes outside her side of the door and had it rest in between her lips. She got a goldish envolpe out putting every information in. " Its worth investigating, for several obvious reasons... Kevin, what do you think?" Marissa paused. "Kevin?..." She stopped everything she was doing and flicked her ashes out the wrengler. " Its a hell of a good start.Survalance cameras probably dating back on the Massacre. There should be videos on them, They usually have twelve hour worth of footage, maybe there is something odd that the officals didn't pick up" Her heart skipped a beat. "Kevin Nuttinfield..." The information package would have to wait later. But she had other things to take car of. she pulled her car out of the parking lot and headed for the LVS Station for those survalance videos.
