That looks damn awesome. But then, I'm a big resident evil fan so I'm biased.

As biased as I am I can't help feeling confused looking at some of the backgrounds on offer. That weird futuro city seems really out of place.

After finally get wi-fi to work on my 3DS I went ahead and played the Revelations demo recently release on the eShop.
RE:R is absolutely stunning (both visually and gameplayually).
If you're looking to play it with no idea what's in store then it might be a better idea to not read anything below this.
Messing around with the options before starting revealed a 3D intensifier scroll which increases the depth a massive amount. Things popped out of the screen more and environments had far more perception of distance.
A third of the way through the demo you're given an gadget called the Supply Scanner. It's reminiscent of Metroid Prime and scanning everything you come across. Doing so reveals hidden items, ammo, herbs, and a couple of weapon customisation cases (although the option to upgrade never occured).
Another thing that's handy is scanning dead enemies. On the scanner screen it shows a percentage at the top, once it reaches 100% you receive a health vial then returns to 0%. That, plus scanning enemies while they're alive nets you more percentage. What this means is if you're out of health vials and near death, you might need to scan an enemy for that last little percent to get you a health vial. Thus surviving. Hopefully it balances out well.
Some of the new enemies which weren't in the Mercs 3D pilot are a bloated monster which explodes if it gets close enough. You really don't want it to get too close otherwise it munts your health to near death. The other was like an improved version of the normal nasties with super long arms that have spikes sticking out all over it. They take 5 or 6 times as much to damage to put down.
While tussling with one of the nastier nasties I found Jill dodged when it went in to attack after I flicked the circle pad, which was nice. It still felt like a close enough shave to make things tense, but having that ability helps to muscle out of a cornered situation.
Now. Hell mode. This unlocks after clearing Normal; dogdamg did Normal not prepare me for it. It's almost like an arrange mode, all of the items are switched arround, and rather than the enemies being tougher, there's just more of them... a lot more of them. Hell mode skewed the crap out of my idea of where the weapons were at.
I think that sums up my experience without spoiling too much. Arivaderchi.

Now my question is, it the game scary? Did the demo seem like horrer game?

Yes. Revelations felt more in tune with retro Resident Evil than the action rompfest we're used to. A lot of that is brought on because of being alone, there's no AI partner bugging Jill in this area.

What are you fighting exactly? RE4 style monsters? I seen the trailer, but they could leave out things.

Hard to describe. They're like Silent Hill monsters. They're sort of sluggish grey abominations. Although that's just on the cruise ship. The sections in the snow location and Terrorgrigia might end up having totally different enemies. I know there's infected wolfs similar to the dogs in RE4, and then this crazy Ice Wraith thing I have no idea about.

OMG! I just played through the demo and loved it! Definitely getting it on release! Plus it helps that Jill has a nice badonka-donk.
