She watched as James finally turned away when she didn't take his hand. That was something she wasn't looking for here. A relationship with anyone or to even get close to anyone. How could she even think about that when she couldn't even have a straight relationship with her father. What gave her the right to have friends or anyone else when she couldn't even have a decent relationship with the only family member left in her life. She looked away for a moment and let out a heavy sigh. Shaking her head as she looked back into the room she couldn't think about that right now.
Anveena finally jumped down after James walked to the corner. She took a pad an pen that was from the other room. Writting down what he spelt out. Her hand tightened around the pen as she read the message. "What the hell," she growled slightly as she looked at James. "What does he mean about that? Help for wha . . ." She trailed off as he eyes grew wide in realization. "Damn it," she growled as the pen snapped in her hand. "Those choppers we seen weren't friendly, but what the hell were they up to." She tossed the pen to the ground and walked closer to James. She stopped at the sound of the storm. It seemed to be dying down. "Alright. We need to figure out what's going on, but my question is who do we contact for help. My father hasn't told me of anyone as for security that we could contact in case of an emergency."

James smirked "You feel safe with me eh?" He winked at her. "Good choice." He then walked to the back of the room cleaing more cobwebs revealing a map of the facility. "Although the first thing I want to do is go back for the rescue my uncles right. We don't know what's going on so we need to contact someone who does." He then pointed at a square on the map with a star on it. "Thats us. We have to make our way on this path to this silo leading to the sub-terranian tunnle system. From there we make our way to the old switching system to restore power to the basic system using the old vacume tube converting systems." He then turned to her. "I can opperate the system but it will only restore power to the basic systems the were originally installed including the sattalite dish which is our last stop of the tour." He then started searching a nearby shelf for parts when he looked back.
"And if we run into any trouble we have your..." He checked both sides of her hips finding them empty. "Your..." No hoster either. "....Where's your gun?" Anveena, they sent you to protect me and you don't have a side-arm!?" She looked down and James scoweled turning back to the shelves and lockers rummaging through them. "Well your in luck. If the 'commies' were good for one thing it was producing parannoia." He then turned around with a fully stocked leather gunbelt upon which he removed the gun to show her. "Pure pressed iron, six-shooter magnum peacemaker." He grinned posing with it. "This is the gun of guns. Not a plastic toys like the stuff they hand out at the security office." He then headed to the bench and began taking it apart. Give me a sec and it will be as good as new. Check around for tools...keys...medical equipment. This stuff was made to last ages."

Anveena felt her face flush a bright red when James talked about the weapons she was suppose to have but didn't. She looked away as he continued to talk about how they sent her out to protect him without protection. She felt ashamed of being there or working with the security group of the domes. She sighed a bit as she looked at the gun that James managed to find hidden within the room. With his instructions she started searching the room. The question running through her head was why was she taking orders from him when she was the one suppose to be guarding him.
She shook her head trying to push all the depressing thoughts away. Searching the room she managed to find a well packed medical bag. "Found the medical supplies we can use," she pointed out as she set it aside. She managed to find a couple of flash lights that to her surprise still worked. "These wont last to long. Hopefully long enough to get something that works better." She made her way back over to him and set the items down. "Your going to have to lead the way. I don't know the under belly of this place as well as you do. Also I would like to make a stop at the armory. That gun is well and all, but I need a few other things," she pointed out.

James reached into his bag pulling out a pair of glasses with a set of scopes and magnifiers as well as a small case of screws and prods. Taking apart the revolver he began inspecting each individual piece. "Of course you do." He agreed as he cleaned the barrel with a pipe cleaner. "Although it would help to know what that is exactally. I know just about how everything in this facility works..." He then looks up at her. "Save the people of course." He then blows into the chamber. "I know of a few storage areas in the tunnels but they will take us off target and eat up some time. If you tell me what you need I'll see if I can remember a cache that can help meet your needs." With swift hands he put the gun back together and handed it over. "Two hands with that one. And let the weight work for you. It can help steaduy your aim." Standing up he placed everything including the medical equipment into his bag. Holding up a hand he examined the red tipped bullet he had been sure to remove. After a brief look he tossed it. "So, what is it that the lady needs."

Anvenna's hand tightened on the grip of the gun as James told her how to hold it. She wanted to comment on it, but didn't. She sighed a bit as she looked away. Thinking about what she needed was the last on her mind the more she thought about what she failed at. Shaking her head as she looked back to James her eyes hardning a bit. "I need another gun. Back up. I wouldn't mine one of the M-9 Bayonetts. Wouldn't mind two more knifes with the wrist sheaths. Also we need vest. I don't know what we're going to go up against, and I want to be as prepared as we can get," she pointed out. She took the holster for the gun and slipped it around her waist, and then returned the gun to it's holster. Looking at James, and then around the room. "If there is nothing else here. We need to get to your Uncle soon. His message about gas has me a bit worried. That's something else we should take into consideration. We may need mask before going into the facility."

James smirked. "No problem there." walking to the wall he grabbed a rag wiping down a large heavy metal box sespended above the floor. Stepping back revieled a locked metal cabinet with a radiation sign. "Duck and cover." With that he grabbed his crow-bar and pryed off the old lock and then opened the door revealing two gas masks and radiation suits. He smiled grabbing the masks, "His AND hers." He then tossed over Anvenna's. "Don't say I never bought you nothing pretty." Grabbing some rope last minute he began climbing back up the stairs looping off half of the rope and then tieing it to his waist. "When you get up tie you'reself up to me. It's for safety." He then smiled climbing the last step. "Though maybe something to remember for the honeymoon." Just then their was a bust of heat and sand as a storm gushed from the doors only to fall dead a moment later over the sholders of a man dressed all in black. Goggled eyes, gloves. Every inch of humanity covered making him a human shadow. They both stood silent until James spotted the weapon upon which he grabbed a wrench. "STRANGER DANGER! He yelled chucking the tool at the man before running for cover.

Anveena looked up the stairs as James called out about a stranger. She already had her gun drawn as she crested the top of the stairs. She watched as the man ducked out of the way of a flying tool. His hand reaching for his weapon. She acted quickly as she crossed the room in under a couple of seconds. Her free hand reaching for him, but it in turn backfired as he grabbed her hand and threw her across the room. She managed to stay on her feet, and spun around as he approached her. Grinning slightly as she holstered the gun. As he threw a punch she managed to grab his arm, and flipped him on his back. Still holding his arm she flipped him on his stomach, and bent his arm around his back. She pulled out the gun and held it to his back. "Alright. I'm not one for playing games. Who are you, and what do you want?" she barked.

James poked his head around the corner and then stood up approaching the two carefully. "Next time I'm using a bigger wrench." He told the man trying to assert control. After picking up the fallen tool he went to the man tearing away his face mask. James instantly grimmaced and turned around and tried to keep from getting sick. "We have a problem." He mentioned pointing at the man in black. Taking a second glance he was shocked at his appearance. Lips, tougne, vocal chords, all removed with an untrained hand. A symbol had been branded onto his cheek. The mans skin was black as coal perhaps revealing him as a person of southern descent. "This guy isn't talking....what are we going to do with him?" He asked. He clearly had no idea as to the next step now that he saw how extreem their opponent was.

Anveena flinched slightly as she looked at the man's face. She had an idea of what was to come. She didn't like it, mainly because what happened a little over three years. Her hand gripped the butt of her gun tighter. "James," she spoke through her teeth never once glancing at him. She always wondered if she could kill someone, but that was human. No human could walk around like this and not show tremendous pain. Yet kneeling on his back she could feel him breathing. "Step out of the room." She had to assure herself that their own government wouldn't let this happen to their team. He wasn't friendly, and he was the reason for their loss of communication. "He wouldn't have gone for the gun if he was friendly," she mumbled under her breath. Listening to James' footsteps she let out the breath she was holding. Glade that he didn't ask why. "I'm sorry, but if you are alive with will ease the pain," she spoke lightly more to reassure herself than anyone else. Gathering herself as he continued to fight against her she lowered the gun to the base of his skull and fire. The gunfire echoed, and the man twitched slightly before he stopped. She stood up letting the gun dangle from her fingers. Looking down at the man before looking to the room James had entered. "You can come back in," she called as she took a sheet and covered him as best he could.

James crept in keeping his eye away from the body. "I haven't left the facility since I arrived when I was five....but uncle taught me from day one the importance of history." He took off his glasses and cleaned them off. "This isn't anything new. From what I recall there were extreemist groups in South America who would enslave their enemies...drug and torture them into servatude. They would gut their mouths to prevent them from talking back or revealing secrets. You just did that man a favor is my guess but I have no idea who we're...." Suddenly he heard a slight hissing and a mechanical sound coming from the body. James approached cautiously to inspect.
"What the hell is that?" He asked tilting the mans head and pushing down the collar of his shirt to reveal a metal choker with clear vials on the side. "He just got injected with something...." Looking closer suddenly the body lurched and spasmed. The arm muscles bulged tearing the sleeve into shreads as it flailed out sending James across the room into a window almost shattering it. The man stood up as goo ran down its mouth and it's legs grew twice in size and turned to growl at Anveena.

Anveena froze as the man knocked James across the room. She never seen anything like this back in LA. She never even heard her father talk about something like this. This situation was different than all those other times. She managed to shake her fear off just in time to move out of his way as he lunged toward her. He was no doubt ****ed off at her for shooting him. "James!" she called as she ducked under his next attack. She could empty her gun into him, but that wouldn't do any good. She would be out of ammo before they even got into the facility. She miss calculated his next move, and was slammed against the wall. Stiffling a cry she dove out of the way as he threw a punch. The loud crash indicated that he had put his hand through the wall. "James. Find something sharp for me to cut his head off," she called out as she blocked an attack that caused her feet to slid against the floor.

James cocked his head. "Cut his....?" He asked not really processing the request. He wasn't sure if he could perform such a task, even if someones life depended on it. Fumbling with his tool belt he began piecing together a cement hand-saw and climbed to his feet. Watching the two struggle he waited until the things back was turned which is when he raised the saw into the air pulling the trigger and charging. Getting close he had to close his eyes in order to act as he stabbed down with the blade. It plunged low into its back and James suddenly became stunned seeing the blood and watching the creature rear, back in pain. Turning its back to Anveena it focused on James with the saw still in it's back. James slowly backed away grabbing the sledge-hammer off his back holding it up like a shield.

Anveena looked at James as he backed up to the wall. She moved forward grabbing the handsaw and pulling it out. The creature hollered in pain, and swung backwards. Ducking under it's attack she moved forward to stand between it and James. As it swung it's fist towards her she ducked again in order to end up behind him. Swinging the saw toward it's neck, she connected with finding it hard to cut through the bone. Blood sprayed the wall as she cut through the neck line. He reached back gripping her neck tightly and lifted her off her feet. She didn't let go of the handle, but instead pulled it harder until his grip losened and it's head fell to the floor. Anveena hit the floor gasping slightly as the body tumbled to the ground. "Well . . . I hope there aren't more of them," she gasped slightly.

James approached the body slowly trying not to be sick at the sight meanwhile trying to grasp how this person he just met could commit such an act. Getting near the neck he gagged briefly but then composed himself removing the collar and moving away quickly. Taking out a magnifying glass he looked over the device. He took some deep breaths before talking. "This is a pretty amazing piece of evil madness." He tapped on one of three glass windows on the outer wall of the collar. "Glass tubes to hold the juice of whatever transformed him." He then flipped it showing the barbs on the inner collar. "Needles went straight into the jugular." He then pointed to a black box on the back. "Heart monitor. My guess is when this flatlines it triggers the injection." He then tossed it to the floor. "From now on disable any similar enemies so I can disarm them. That way they dont turn Hulk." He then sat down putting his head between his legs. "Tie yourself to me and get ready to leave. There is a pressure lever next to the door that will elevate guard rails outside we can follow to the entrance."

She grimaced slightly as she looked back again to the body. Finding herself surprised that she was able to commit such an act, and yet she didn't find herself sick at all. Sighing a bit she picked up the rope, and tied it around her. "Alright . . . lets go," she said lightly as she followed James out the door. Instantly she pulled her shirt up to cover her mouth and nose. While one hand grasped the railing the other shielded her eyes as James lead the way. The railing helped, but being tied to someone who's done this before helped a lot more. What should have been a short walk seemed to take them forever. When James taped on the metal door it was music too her ears. She edged up beside him and helped him open the door. Once inside she again helped him to secure the door. Untying herself she fixed her shirt and dusted the sand out of her hair. "I never want to do that again," she grumbled under her breath. Looking back to James she eased up to the corner to look around. "Alright so where is your Uncle located at?"
