“I see boy before. He come where terrorist come.” Richard said. “First at Giant fight, now here.” He turned and addressed the kid directly. “First I think you are hostage, now I hear you help terrorist.” He said. “I saw we go. He might take us to chopper, but it probably trap.” He said to Ava and Simon. He could tell the kid wasn’t lying about the chopper, he knew where one was it seemed. But it was probably a trap, in all likelihood. He could see it on the kids face, he still wanted to meet up with the TSTU personnel. Seemed like an opportunity to send the little prick packing, and follow him on the sly.
“We go to building. I no know about you… But I tired, very sore as well.” He said. “It has been… Dog of day.” He said. He meant to say it had been a bi*ch of a day. The fact that he reacted with no surprise, not even a word or movement when Simon torched the truck for seemingly no reason. Maybe he just liked fire. Richard sure liked to set things on fire. Who knew?
Going to a building for a rest, that was just a guise. If they told him to hit the road, he’d most likely go to where he needed to go. And they could follow them, kill the bad guys, and go home. Or arrest them, that might happen too.

Not even thinking for a moment Avalon headed over to the appartment building. It would be nice to get a nights rest, and not worry about anymore of these conflicts going on. All she wanted was peace and quiet at the moment.
Hoping up the steps Avalon looked at the door into the builing. It was still intact and worked well. Thats interesting for a wooden door in the worlds scenario. No matter. Avalon opened the door at the same time she equipted one of her tact knifes into her right hand. Hand to hand combat was one of her more mastered fighting sequences. For a girl she could probably beat most male attackers.
Avalon didnt even notice if Simon or Richard was following her, she didnt care if they did, would be better to stick together if they are going to be sleeping. With three of them they could sleep in shifts so no creature of the night could run into the room and have an all you can eat buffet of three humans. What she did care about was if that kid followed. She wanted nothing to do with him, honestly she slightly despised him, and the way he acts.
"Looks clear..." Avalon whispered as she moved towards the stairs seeing that the hallway, and rooms with open doors were empty.
The light from outside that was coming through the windows was enough to make out most objects in the building without a flashlight. This was a little treat with this appartment, good lighting. Either way Avalon moved to the top floor with no problem, and no sign of unfamiliar movement. Now all she had to do was find a nice cozy room that was to messed up.

He shrugged it off and began walking, they did'nt want to go then fine... like he beleived that, he had seen their hate for him, and probably the other "terrorist's" he would have to watch his back... he grabbed the knife out of his hood and began walking, he could see a small number of dead far down the streets on his front and left, "that d*** fire", he began to jog down the street, they were shambling pretty fast... he threw his knife into the skull of one of the first infected, pulled it back out and ran down an alley to the fire escape. Ever since the terrorist's he'd been dealing with more crap than usual... then again if not he'd be dead, he wondered if the promises were really worth it, he wasn't a fool he knew they might be lying but he had needed the safety of a group... and he still hadn't slept yet, this was his third day... he climbed into the window of an empty apartment, it was partially lighted from the moon shining through the large windows on the wall facing the street. He raised the ladder of the fire escape and tied it around the railes with his hoodie for the night. He locked the front door and checked the other rooms thoroughly, he reached for the bathroom door knob and felt his gloves slide on the metal, when the door opened he looked inside the red and white bathroom... red with blood, and no body. "That's concerning" he muttered sleepily as he fell onto the leather couch in the dark apartment, "Finally..."

What a strange boy. The Russian had said that he'd seen the boy around before, and Simon wasn't about to take chances with him. He had no need of any sort of extraction chopper; all he had to do was make it to a point outside of the city with his fellow Spartoi operatives and use an unmarked van to make it to another location, where a helicopter would be waiting at the end of his week-long term. Deciding to go back on overwatch-Simon had been trained to go for nearly a week without sleep- Simon returned to the fire escape and began to climb slowly. Setting himself up on the rooftop, Simon laid back, his back against the wall, ensuring that his head couldn't be seen over the parapet.
He began to check himself, making sure his gear was completely in order. Checking over his new shotgun, Simon counted three shells in the chamber; good for a last ditch defense. He knew that the others had dispersed for now; he'd watch them go and then go along his own way.

Richard stuck with Avalon, figuring she was the only one he could actually trust. He saw the way the kid was walking, how he went into an apartment building. They settled into a room that looked secure, Richard picking the lock on the knob and the deadbolt so they could still use the locks. He knew the kid was taking a break, and he figured it was safe to do the same thing. He needed it. A place to check for injuries, a place to take a drink and get something to eat. He knew there would be some food somewhere, the outbreak had been quick. No warning, people didn’t have time to clear their homes before they fled or were killed.
He followed Avalon in, shutting the door after he noticed Simon wasn’t coming with. He didn’t know why the man slinked off, but far be it from him to try and keep someone here when they didn’t want to be here. He immediately went to the kitchen of the apartment. He didn’t bother with the fridge. Power was out, everything would have gone bad by now. He instead went to the cupboards, pulling out a few cans of tuna fish. He took them to the table, slipping off his rifle and vest before he sat down. Jamming one of his clean blades into the can, he opened it and spooned the fish into his mouth with his fingers. When he was done, he sat back in his chair and lifted up his shirt.
Bruises in hues of purple, black, and even yellow covered his torso. He’d had to ditch out of a car going sixty miles per hour, jumped and landed every which way there was to land. He mentally shut out the pain after seeing there was nothing he could do to treat any of the wounds at the moment and went into the living room. He kept his gear nearby, sitting on the couch and facing the door with his hand resting on his Sig Sauer.

Moving through the apartment room, Avalon made her way over to the kitchen and slowly took of her flak vest placing it onto the countertop. It felt good to take off that extra 30 pounds worth of equipment. However though for protection shook took 1 of the barettas from a holster on the vest, and kept that in hand. No clue what might try to break in, so you got to be prepared.
Afterwards she moved around the rooms searching for things she could use. The small bullet wound on her arm was beginning to hurt in an annoying way that she couldnt ignore, and she needed some sort of screw driver, and plyers to work on fixxing her headset. Searching through the bathroom she found a small 1/3rd full bottle of rubbing alchohal, about 2 Feet of thin gaws in a bandage box, a bottle containing a few pills of pain reliever, and a tube with 1/4th left of antibacterial ointment. Not much to work with but itll do. Exaiming the cut though Avalon noticed it might require stitches. Well it would only require that if she didnt want it to scar up, which she didnt mind. Stitches or not she really didnt care.
Now Avalon moved back to the kitchen, while simon searched the cuboards for some sort of food. Guy must be hungry, and Avalon was slightly but that wasnt her main concern at the time. She placed the low amount of medical supplies on the kitchen counter and grabbed the cleanest looking clothe from the sink. All set up she swallowed 2 of the pain pills, and grabbed the Alchohal. Brased for the sting, she poured the stuff over the wound while anchored over the sting. She gasped slightly from the pain as the wound began to bubble and make a fizzing noise from the dying bacteria. About 30 seconds passed before Avalon took the clothe and dabbed the wound to clean off most of the extra alchohal. She squirted the rest of the ointment, which wasnt much, onto the gaws end, which she then wrapped around and tied up around the wound, ointment over the opening.
Avalon turned around to see Richard over in a chair with his shirt off. Noticing all the bruises she assumed he had it pretty rough before she met him. Then she thought, and decided to talk so it wasnt so quiet in the room. Even though she didnt want to speek, she did want there to be somesort of comforting noise in the apartment room.
"Simons on the roof right above us... Incase your wondering." She said in a low voice moving over to the couch which was ajacent to the chair Richard was in. "You probably dont trust him, but i am kinda in debt to him cause he saved me from being those TSTU bastard's hostage..." There was a tone of concern, and sadness in her quiet voice. "Not trying to jump from topic to topic so quickly... But do you have some sort of plan after this night here?" Avalon began to fiddle with her gun, exaiming the safety, and trigger.

He woke from his rest, sweaty and clutching his knife for dear life. He didn't know what time it was or how long he'd been asleep, but he was starving, he searched the cuboards for food, he found three cans of chicken and dumplings. His favorite, he took the three cans and set two of them on the table next to him, he wished he still had that backpack... he opened the remaining can in his hand and shoveled it into his mouth, he ate in silence until he was scraping the bottom of the can. He was going to reach for the other when he heard two rather large thump's in the hallway. His heart stopped as he stared at the door in anticipation, he heard four more thumps as his imagination took affect he could practically see the infected falling to the floor as they stumbled over stray corpses to his door. But it didn't happen, he finally stopped staring at the door and got a hold on himself, he searched the apartment for weapons. He found a crowbar witch he took and placed on the table with the food, it was heavy enough to break some skull if needed. His mind wandered to family, his best friend, and the infection, but most of all his mother. She was the one to teach him in mechanic's, and he was proud to say he was as good as any full grown man in an auto shop, tested and proven. He hated moments like these, strong as he wanted to be... he used to be nicer, but you had to change to survive in a place like this, but he was still just a kid. For the first time in years, even before the infection, he cried... alone in the dark apartment with nothing but whatever was on the other side of the door for company.

“Da. Plan is, follow boy back to terrorists. If he go back…” Richard said. He was thinking more and more that, even if the kid was rotten to the core, he wouldn’t be going back to them. Great… After all of that, no leads anywhere. Unless he could get in touch with the military outpost at the airport, maybe they had a way to either track the helicopter or locate it. And there was still the matter of the Tricell plane that he had ordered grounded, the men he had ordered detained. They’d know something if it came to going all the way back to where he started, they had to. They were running on loop holes and legal lies. They delivered the BOW he had killed earlier in the day.
“For now… We rest. We go to airport later if boy go nowhere.” He said.

Avalon nodded in agreement with Richard, and the laid down on the couch. It was a decent couch, still intact, fairly comfy, and still had its two matching pillows. After placing her Beretta on the coffee table net to the couch, she group the two pillows and placed them under her head. trying not to get to comfortable Avalon slowly closed her eyes to attempt to get a little sleep in before any big plans are put into action. That's when the thoughts flew through her mind of right and wrong, and what to do. Still not asleep she spoke to Richard in a low tired voice.
"I may not trust that kid... But i still think we should take him with us. Even if he doesn't go back to those terrorists the humane thing to do would just be to take him as our captive or something. Who knows, maybe he knows some valuable info. No one should leave a child alone in a world like this... That's what I'm trying to get at." Avalon then turned her body to face the back of the couch. Even though she had no trust for that kid it just wasn't right for them to leave him all alone here. Personally she wouldn't want to be left alone as a child, and Avalon is no Hypocrite.

He had been up most of the night... "so much for sleep" he complained to himself, at least he got some, he watched the sun rise slowly as the gray morning comforted him, it was his favorate part of the day. He wondered if those other's he had seen go into the other building were awake yet, well he didn't want them to miss this beautiful morning, he was still slightly irked at there behavior yesterday. He grabbed the crowbar and two can's of chicken and dumplings carried them to the fire escape, he untied his hoodie from the ladder and rail and cringed at the lound clang when the ladder hit the cement. He put the cans of food in the hoodie and tied it across his chest, he put the knife in it's sheath at his waist and held the crowbar in his hand, he hopped down from the fire escape and grabbed it mid way down, he dropped the rest of the way to the ground with a soft thud, his mask slid down onto his face from the light force of the impact, he walked up to the nearest car and raised the crowbar, he stopped for a moment to thing about it, he nodded his head, he needed the car anyway, he smashed in the passenger side window and went to unlock the door, realising it was already unlocked. He checked the backseat and got in, he looked through the glove box and found nothing of use, he reached down and began the process of hotwiring the car, he took his time just enjoying the fact that he could do it. It would only take them so far though with all the cars in the streets, he got the car started and wished he had one of his cd's, he set his mask onto the dashboard routinely, he was feeling strong again, he was all alone... but he'd make it. He started singing to himself, one of his favorate songs by haystak, "aaalll alone, i dont even care which way i go, just followin my radio." the song comforted him, it was one of his fathers favorits too...
He'd had enough of this emotional s***, he honked the horn four times to wake up the other's, and began to slowly drive down the street, he didn't know if he wanted to go back there... it all really depended on the future, they werent good people, but he wanted to get back at umbrella... He didn't care what he had to give up for that, his mind was made up he was going to meet them at the checkpoint. Wheather or not the other's still wanted a chopper or not was there problem. (If you plan on coming with me, go ahead and move us in your post. If not, we'll have an IC disscussion and I'll move myself and leave you be.)
Richard was jolted out of his light sleep by the horn outside, his eyes shooting open from his seated position on the couch. He stood up and went to the window, looking out and seeing the car with no windshield going down the street. He went back to the couch and started picking everything up.
“Boy going, we follow him.” He said to Avalon, knowing in all likelihood it would be enough to wake her up and get her moving. He had thought about what she had said the other night. He didn’t know if they could take him with. He’d fight them to the end, run any chance he got. If it came down to it, they may end up having to kill him or let him go his own way. The only place he could be safe and detained so he wouldn’t hurt anyone was a prison. Letting him run would probably be the best thing to do…

"Give me two Seconds." Avalon said springing to her feet. There was a few things she needed to quickly search for, along with grabbing and putting back on her flak vest.
Quickly moving Avalon looked through every little box, cupboard, and cabinet searching for a few tools. Eyes widened with a sense of joy she found a few things she was looking for. Electrical tape, pliers, and a screw driver. They were neatly stacked in a small metallic box next to the living rooms television. Must have been for hooking up a DVD player or something , but either way Avalon had found them and needed them later.
Next Avalon grabbed her Flak vest and slung it on quickly tightening the straps, to a comfortable, safe, but not restricting fit. Perfect for combat, or any high stacks scenario.
"Okay lets go." She said looking at Richard and making a head motion towards the door. Then again before Avalon even went out the door the thought hit her mind. Simon. He was unaware of what was going on, and she kinda was in debt to him. Now before even moving out the door and down the the street with Richard, Avalon ran to the window. She unlocked the frame, and propped the window open. In a second she stuck her head out and yelled up towards the roof. "Hey Avitus! If your still up there we are going to chase down that kid! He just left!" Even if he didn't come it was something Avalon felt like she had to tell him.
Now that all these little tasks that Avalon rushed in a matter of 6 minutes were done she ran down to the street with Richard behind. In the far distance they could still see the rear end of that car Desmond was driving. Looking up and down the nearest cars Avalon found a Jeep Cherokee that was still in somewhat of a good condition compared to the rest of the cars. Only a little rust, and 1/3rd tank left of gas. Good enough for now. Taking a fighting stance Avalon kicked in the drivers side window, and unlocked the door. No alarm, thank god. First off she brushed some of the shards of glass out, then tore down the panel below the steering wheel.
Here was something she hasn't done in a long time. Hot wire a car. It was something just about everyone knew now in these days, but personally she was a little rusty. It took her a few extra seconds to get the wiring setup correct before the car roared to life. "Good to go. You drive." Avalon said to Richard as she jumped across the center piece between the driver side and passenger side to take her seat. Followed by Richard taking charge of driving. With all door shut, and the car on they were finally able to head down the street. Now able to relax and stop rushing Avalon pulled out those tools she found earlier from her pockets, and took off her Headset radio. It was time for her to attempt to fix the d*mn thing.

Simon had taken a quick nap, relived himself, and eaten a bit in the early morning hours. The kid was obviously back; he'd had the audacity to honk the horn as loud as he could, loud enough to drown out Simon's sarcastic shout of "We're trying to sleep!". The kid sped away and the other two moved to follow him. Simon knew that following this boy would undoubtedly lead him to the TSTU, or someone affiliated with them. Their standards were obviously dropping; hiring a random psychopathic kid with the attention span of a gopher? How the times had changed. Simon had trained under former SF operatives who'd joined Spartoi, most memorable among them a member of the Sayaret Matkal and the French Foreign Legion. The tactics this boy employed would have been considered insane by even members of these unorthodox groups; it was obvious that this boy, delusions of grandeur notwithstanding, was insane, or was descending the slippery slope into madness.
It was certainly a sign of solidarity that the BSAA agents had attempted to alert him to what was going on. He'd been watching, of course, but unable to completely figure out what was going on. Simon had let them leave, knowing that they could keep the kid busy while Simon silently made his own way to track them.
Slipping away into the early morning's shadows, Simon continued behind the two vehicles, quicker than to be expected of a man who'd hardly slept.

[Clarissa has entered the checkpoint area]
"Just...wait here!"
Clarissa looked up at the man's face as he wiped at the blood on his face with the back of his sleeve. He inhaled deeply and rested both hands on her shoulders. "I can't take you with me. Anymore. It's just too dangerous and I can't protect you all the time."
Clarissa glared. "Hey! I can take care of myself! I-I survived the monster too! I...even outlived dad...." she trailed off with a cracked, shaken, voice.
Jake frowned and released the young teen from his grasp. "Just stay here where it's safe. I'll be alright on my own, kid. For your own good, stay here," he said, moving back a bit before turning around completely. He felt horrible for the young girl having lost her father right when they reunited and for having to leave her all alone, but he couldn't watch out for another person when he could barely care for himself.
"I'm sorry, Clarissa. You gotta stay. I'll, uh, see you around, safely, okay?" he asked before walking toward the exit of the checkpoint.
Clarissa shook her head and seated herself near some sleeping, old, guy that smelled like pee and spoiled milk. She wasn't about to stick around for long. Maybe until she had eaten but afterwards, she'd be gone.
"Dad, I won't give up that easily," she said in a low voice. "I'm gonna survive..."

"We want out of this city, and we want out now! This is the only safe way out of here, and you guys are all keeping it blocked off? This is retarded, and you know it!" Wandering the crowds of people was no real easy task. Everybody had been pushing and shoving eachother to get out of the way, and closer to the steel barriers set up around the gate. The darkness had shown down on the sky, and spotlights waved around the people. Snipers had been placed up top to pick off anybody whom they deemed to be infected, or causing trouble. It wasnt clear who was actually running this setup, be it the military, the police, or some unknown federal agency. But the truth was, nobody was going to be leaving the city through here, the people were all just too stupid to stop trying.
Jesse was near the back of a larger crowd at the time, when suddenly he noticed a woman not ten feet ahead of him fall to the ground. Others had been bending over to try and see what was going on, trying to get her, but it was obviously clear what exactly was happening here. A loud yell now overtook the crowd, as the woman now turned into one of the infected, and had bit two other people. Gunshots rang out, but it was too late, the panic had kicked into gear now. A larger man holding an assault rifle had walked into the crowd, mowing people to the side with his arms. He stood in front of Jesse, and just looked at him with a cold look before turning around to open fire on the people. Nearly diving back out onto the cleared off street, Jesse ran away from the scene. Other had the same idea, but he was just one of the lucky few that got away.
