This is the local military base set up by the US government. It provides as an extra out post for the government, mainly as support troop for those across the vast ocean. There is a barracks, motor pool, and a few army vehicle as well as personnel here.

Raccoon City Military Base - 0600
William stood there as the sun began to rise, slowly erasing the darkness that shrouded the land. He flipped up the night vision that was attached to his helmet and released the QD switches on the weapon mounted night vision. Placing it back in a pouch on his vest.
Everyone was pulling there own here at the base. Soldier, Agent, and Police alike. William with his marksmanship background was placed in one of the many guard towers during the night time. Assigned to watch over and make sure none of the infected found there way onto base. Each guard tower held a marksmen and a machine gunner. The idea was that the marksmen could engage singular targets, as well as small groups. While the gunner would engage during a large scale infected attack.
"Finally, we can smoke a cigarette without having to hide away." the man next to William stated with relief. His name was Troy and through-out the night he had been forced to get really low behind the cover of the small guard tower walls. The thought behind it was that they were operating in complete darkness and the embers from a cigarette would give away the towers position. It was silly because the most they had to worry about was the infected.
"Hand me one of them." William said as he nodded towards the pack of cigarettes in Troy's hand. Troy grabbed out a cigarette and handed it to William, followed by holding out his lit lighter.
"Thanks, man." William mumbled as he inhaled. He had been waiting all night to have a cigarette. He fortunately had more patience then the private first class that stood next to him. Someone had to pay attention... He said to himself.
William sat back his rifle tucked in his arms. He was able to relax a little more in the light, not as much attention was needed when you could easily see everything. Watching as the smoke billowed up he had drifted off. It wasn't that he wasn't a good soldier, this job was just extremely boring. Most of the infected had a hard enough time navigating the terrain around here. Let alone making it far enough to be a threat to the base.
"Arrrrrrrrrr" softly hit his ears, the unforgettable moan of the infected. It was faint, a sign that he was far out, maybe about 300 meters. William dropped down to one knee and positioned his rifle in the direction of the moan, scanning the area for the husk of what was once human. Troy had dropped next to him with the spotters scope and began to scan with him.
"There he is, at the base of the treeline about three-hundred meters out. North by north-east, left of the large rock." Troy stated as he watched the zombie from his 12x spotters scope, he had a much better view of the creature then William.
William had remembered and drawn out the landscape a few days prior, he had memorized everything. It allowed for William to know exactly what Troy was talking about. Swinging his rifle over, he saw the creature, slowly shambling forward towards the smell of fresh meat.
Slowly breathing, William prepared, keeping his breath in, he took one last second and squeezed the trigger. The recoil pushing against his shoulder took his eye over his shoulder, not allowing him to see if he hit or not.
"Hit, I repeat hit!" Troy said, joyfully patting William on the back "Holy crap, man! I think you hit him right between the eyes, his entire face just caved in!" The young man exclaimed obviously impressed.
William laughed and shook his head, standing up he shouldered his rifle again. Scanning the area slowly to make sure there were no more infected. The area looked secure.
"HQ this is Guard Tower Alpha two, we had contact, contact is down, I repeat contact is down." William said into his radio.
"Guard Tower Alpha two, this is HQ, what is the position of contact."
"Infected at Charlie six, keypad one." He said as he looked at his map.
"Roger that, Guard Tower Alpha Two, sending men to collect contact."
"Roger that." William said as he let his hand off the talk button.
He could hear the patter of boots on the ladder. William looked over the side to see two grunts climbing up. Finally it was time to switch shifts. Been up here forever. He thought to himself as the first of the men pulled himself into the small guard tower.
"We've come to relive you." The Corporal said with his m14 rifle in hand.
"Thank god, time to get some chow and some sleep." Troy said as he rushed to the ladder as soon as the second man was up. William only laughed and followed. He would head to the mess with Troy ,but didn't need sleep. He had gotten three hours before his shift and was good for a while.
((Anyone who wants to RP with William, I will be at the Mess hall eating.))

Patient Zero walked slowly in the woods, the night at his back. He could see the light coming from the base. He was so hungry. He didn't really care who to feed on, he just wanted food now. He looked at the people walking around. He could see the guns in their hands. The long, double-barreled ones, the ones that wouldn't stop shooting. He hated them all. He wanted to smash them, break them. He wanted to kill the people that carried these around. He hated anyone who used them. He wanted them to feel pain. There was one soldier that was walking close along the treeline. He didn't seem to know where Patient Zero was. The soldier was smoking. The soldier was looking towards the base. The soldier was off guard. Patient Zero moved quickly. He alerted the soldier but it was too late. He smashed the gun that was half-way raised before a shot went off. Patient Zero pulled the man into the night, and a bloodcurdling scream pierced the air. A loud crack followed. Patient Zero carried the dead body a little deeper and then started eating. He enjoyed the taste...slowly savoring the fresh meat. Patient Zero, finishing his meal, decided to move before the soldier's friends came looking for him. He starts walking towards the building he saw on his way up. The one with the big badge. ((PZ is moving to the Sheriff's Depart. I'm sorry for jumping out so quick but it's for the better.)) Task force pantheon strike team "Karma", recently put together for an operation against the terrorists responsible for the outbreaks, was parked at the front gates of the U.S military base waiting for the last 5-6 men that were to be a part of their temporary strike team. Strike team "Karma" consisted of a Platoon and a convoy of 7 Humvee's, the lead one armed with a GAU-19, the rear armed with an Mk-19, the middle one armed with an Mk-19, and the rest armed with CIS .50 BMG machine guns.
The doors were still opened and all of the T.F.P operators were mulling around, waiting for the scheduled helicopter to come in so that they can grab their last 5-6 men and then get the convoy rolling rolling, to strike out against the terrorist cell operating in the area. They had recieved intel saying that the terorist cells had retreat from the nearby areas and concentrated themselves in the circular rivery community and Arklay mountain areas. As such, they expected a large number of terrorists to go up against, but not enough that they shouldn't not be able to handle them.

Coming from the Raccoon City AirportDaniel watched as the 7ton infront of him bounced on the dirt ground as they made their way towards the compound. The humvee he was in did the same, but not near as bad. They had been driving for a good while, and he was ready to get out of the vehicle and streach his legs. This wasn't the place though, too easily ambushed. Sam didn't look as if she was enjoying the ride either. She hated long trips, and it always got worse for her the longer it took to get to the destination. He tried to give her an encouraging smile, but she didn't seem to interested. He looked back to the road. She got like that. Once they were safe and at the base, he knew she would get to feeling better. They came into a clearing and he knew they had finaly made it. He was happy for a good second before his smile faded. They stopped too far from the gate for the convoy they were traveling in. He grabbed his M4 and opened the door to look out. Someone was walking towards him. It was the same guy that had showed up from the airport. "Whats going on?" He said. The specialist signalled him to follow him. He looked at the rest of his men in the humvee and gave them a nod. They got out and took up flanking sides of the humvee. Sam sat still, as he told her earlier to do. Daniel shut his door and held his carbine at the ready. He walked up to the 7ton and looked up at the driver, nodding to him. The driver nodded back and shut of the 7ton, getting out and following the same example as the humvee. Daniel walked to the front gate. It was open, and there stood a man, someone Daniel couldn't see clearly. "This is Sgt. Brown, as you requested..."The specialist said. (The specialist is talking to you gunny, just incase you didn't know.)

Captain "Pain" Payne, looked down at the man, merely nodding in confirmation and then hooking his thumb over his shoulder at the convoy
Get locked and loaded, we're mounting out and heading into the storm now. Double time it soldier. Your with us now. Go talk to Gunnery sergeant Alvarez at the front of the convoy. They've got an extra kit for you to gear up with up front.
He then looked at the specialist and growled
Thank you. Dismissed.
As this conversation went on, a platoon's worth of base personnel swarmed the 7-ton truck and offloaded its supplies, then quickly reloading it up with T.F.P supplies so that they would be able to at least try to quickly resupply the T.F.P strike force if it started to run low on supplies. The 4 marines who had come with Brown were already busy regearing with T.F.P issued Multi-cam B.D.U's, T.F.P custom softy body armor(layered to be a stab-proof and bullet proof III hybrid) with ESAPI IV type inserts front and back, T.F.P issued Integrated Warfighter System's, and M468/Rec 7 6.8 SPC rifles. The designated marksman amongst the 4 was handed a M14 EBR instead of a M468. All 4 marines were now plugged into the T.F.P battle.net and ready to fight. The strike force excepted to be out numbered because the terrorist cell was collaborating with local criminal and mercenary elements, but expected through the T.F.P doctrine of high quality mobile infantry combined with close air support they would be able to compensate. Certainly they wouldn't be outgunned or out-teched. Martin saluted the Captain but said first
Sir, Sergeant Brown also brought a civilian along with him sir.
Payne nodded, exchanged salutes with the man, and thanked him before Martin walked off. Payne looked at Sergeant Brown and growled
The civilian's going to have to stay here. We're expecting a high-intensity engagement out there, a stand up fight. The hostile-survivor faction here has no where to go, if they try and retreat, they'll merely be hounded and hunted down. Our intelligence says they plan to make a defensive stand here. S**t's going to hit the fan, and we don't have room for that civilian in those vehicles or in the combat.
Vitharr team leader Captain Phillip "Pain" Payne, named so because of how much of a pain in the a** he could be or because of how much pain he could put you through if you crossed him. He was a pain this a pain that a pain in my friggin neck a thorn in my side and its painful... just as much to the enemy as the team in peace time training. Foul mouthed, six foot 2, delta force, grenadier, muscular-built-like-a-tank, husky voice). Payne was a big man, and although he was no longer the tallest guy around, he was built like a tank more then the "bigger" guys he'd met. He had a husky voice, intimidating and commanding atmosphere, and scowled frequently although he could also have a nuetral slight smile which would represent a laugh, grin or a smirk for him. Payne was good friends with Captain Squires, the two of them the "good" captains of the task force, compared to the still-active Captain Ramirez who thankfully hadn't been promoted past his paygrade to major. In his hands was overkill, or, a .50 beowulf 16.5 inch entry rifle accuracized and tricked the hell out for maximum performance, with a 34 round drum in place of a 12 round stanag magazine and an M203 loaded with M576 buckshot instead of the normal 40mm rounds a grenadier would carry. Even though he was just 6 foot 2 bordering 6 foot 3, being built like a tank doesn't mean you have to be as tall as one. He sure as hell wasn't the best person to disagree or say no to. The man was a part of, the leader of, the trainer of, and the architect of, the Task force pantheon Vitharr Tyrant hunter-killer or capture team. These men were supposed to eat, breath, s**t, and outmuscle Tyrants, and they made their livings by killing the things, or even worse, having to be the poor b*stard to have to fight them while not being able to use potentially lethal force against them. The Vitharr team leader was detached to watch over this convoy because thats how serious and concerned higher-higher was about this threat.

Daniel watched the specialist saluted the captain. Army regs and marine devils sure do have different rules in combat. One of the rules the Sergeant lived by was to never salute an officer in the field. You didn't want the enemy to know who your commanding officer was. It was something that was never done, even in garrison when you were doing training. He turned to see his men putting on different gear. He didn't mind this much, but when they started switching weapons, Daniel spoke up.
"S'cuse me sir, but if it's all the same to you, I'd rather they keep their weapons. As superior as they may be, which I can see by looking at them, they wern't trained in them. 3 of them havn't been out of ITB for 4 months before the attacks hit, the other is only a corporal and has been using the M16 and M4 for a long while, just as I have. These men can fight, and fight well, I've seen them do it, but giving them a weapon that is unknown to them wouldn't be the best idea, especially when going up against things that shoot back. These are my men and I know what they can do. I know I'm new here sir, but you need to trust me on this."
It was a long speech, and he didn't mean for it to go that long, but it happened. The officer didn't intimidate him, not in the least bit, but he knew that if he was going to get anything done, it would be best not to cross him. Daniel turned to look at Sam. He knew she would be staying behind, that was a given. She walked over to him and gave him a hug and a kiss before another soldier walked up to them. He looked at the man, no, the boy with a fire in his eyes.
"Anything happens to her, you'll be the one to answer for it, rah?" He said. The soldier nodded and walked beside Sam. Daniel looked after her before turning back to the officer.
"What's the report sir, and who am I to follow?" He asked, resting his hands on the M4 that rested against his chest in it's sling

OOC: We're not in the field yet, nor are we in an active operations zone or a combat/war zone. You'd still be expected to salute. In battle you will never salute, But back in your base where everything is some what normal you do salute.
Payne glanced over at the trucks being loaded with ammo and didn't need to even listen to the mans speech to know that this wouldn't work out so well for logistics. The 5.56x45 had been practically delegated to a specialist P.D.W role, with only really non-combat personnel using it. They hadn't brought any 5.56x45 with them as extra, they had brought mainly 6.8 SPC. On top of that, it adds one caliber to an already intolerably sized list of calibers that the convoy had. It also reduced inner-convoy ammo flexibility; these men would have be down to nothing but sidearms very quickly, because none of the T.F.P operators would have ammo to hand over. In combat, you run through ammo real, real quick. He doubted that the men total had over 600 rounds combined. He also wasn't thinking for a moment that he'd dump 6.8 SPC rounds just for these few men. Hell no, they had far far more men who would run through 6.8 SPC. These marines were going to have to hump it on their own... and if operations went into overtime, no matter how much ammunition they can hump out there, they would probably run out. They still didn't know exactly how large the hostile-survivor force was, or how many B.O.W's were out there. For the AR-15, a full combat load is 210 rounds (3x30rd magazines = 1 pouch, 2 pouches = 180 rds, + 1 30rd mag in the gun). Five times 210 is 1050, PER rifle. He agreed with get as much as you can, but he liked that as a minimum for big operations... and he doubted they'd be able to get that much for these marines and be able to carry it out there for them. By the time Brown was done speaking, Payne looked at him and growled
Under ideal circumstances I would agree with you, but logistics are never ideal. You can carry the weapons you brought until you run out of ammunition. From then on, your going to have to deal with it, adapt, and overcome, and use the weapons we provided. Cause thats the only thing we brought ammunition for, we didn't bring 5.56x45. We aren't loading up the 7-ton with that, task force aircraft won't be dropping that in, and none of the other Humvees will be going in with that. Go get an ammo crate from the base armory and shove it into the back of your Humvee, and I recommend you make sure you bring as much ammo from this base as you can. And pray in that Humvee that everything goes better then planned...
When your loaded up with the 5.56, we're going to have a crash course in how to use those electronics we're handing you. The word on those will be if they break or give you any trouble, ditch em. Trust me, when we get out there, your going to be glad we gave them to you. We've got enough time to get you settled with that s**t, but the rifles. Grab your men and get moving with that ammo. Get moving, double time it.
After his own long speech, Payne doubted the man would really need anything beyond "Get moving" unless he wasn't good enough to pay attention. Then again, if the man had been one of those cherry picked by the T.F.P, there was a reason he was here. The green's that were here would prove themselves to the T.F.P in the field, and to Payne, its all the better they're green. All the easier to assimilate them into the T.F.P. Usually it was harder to retrain the fresh bloods then the old hands. Payne turned and walked off to inspect the convoy one more time and update the troops, and get updated on what their ammunition reserves(In the 7-ton truck) would include.

The sleek black helicopter touched down on one of the Army's helipads. Nathanos stepped out in his Lieutenant's uniform and immediately began fueling the helicopter as quickly as he could. Much to his surprise he managed to get it half-way through until a soldier marched up to question the civilian vehicle. For an army base in the mountains where the now world-wide infection originated, things seemed almost peaceful here.
"Excuse me, sir." the Soldier asked, confused at the situation.
"Yes, Private?" Nathanos asked with his usual southern droll.
"What's with the civilian vehicle?" the Private asked.
"Son, you clearly don't know what's been happening in the downtown area do you?" Nathanos asked.
"Of Raccoon City?" the Private responded.
"No in Paris, what-ya think? Situation FUBAR. I'm driving this piece of s***, think it's a news-copter or some'thin. Some congregation of foreign nit'wits 'at was there." Nathanos said.
The Private scratched his head, this was clearly fishy, but whatever was going on it involved a much higher-ranking Officer, and truthfully he didn't feel like running over to get his boss on one of his three breaks of the day. Particularly if this proved to be nothing special, in which case he'd likely just get a thrashing by two officers.
"Mind if I take a look?" the Private requested.
"Sure." Nathanos sure, opening the side panel.
"This is Yoshi Tokohato." he said gesturing at Ito, the crew understanding what was going on. Ito nodded his head at his name and just smiled, attempting to look as if he didn't speak English.
Nathanos whispered into the Private's ear, "Some s*** 'bout Toyota wanting to sell cars down there, hell if I understand the thinking." The Private nodded, the darkness of the copter's personnel area shrouding the TSTU uniforms they all wore.
"This is Ms. Consuela Del Torro." Nathanos said, gesturing at Alvarez.
"Umm... Hola, Ms." the young Private said with a smile, looking at the attractive young Spaniard, Alvarez returning with a flirtatious glance. The young Private was taken back for several seconds, Nathanos silently filling his tank as the Private was momentarily distracted.
"Who's these two then?" The Private asked, his mind returning to it's original track upon hearing the gas fill the truck.
"This Vladimir Smirnoff..." Nathanos said, wincing at his inability to come up with a better Russian sounding name.
"Preev-yet." Sobczak said raising his hand in acknowledgement his name was called.
"Wait.. Smirnoff?" the young Private inquired.
"Yes, Private. Of the Smirnoffs." Nathanos replied.
"Big fan, sir." the Private said waving his hand at Sobczak.
"And him?" the Private asked, gesturing to Hicks.
"That's Mr. Askmibootoo, from Kenya." Nathanos said, Askmibootoo? he thought to himself.
"Jambo." Hicks said in an American accent.
The Private nodded his head and pulled it from the back of the helicopter. "Quite the group you got there, sir. If the Japs there for Toyota then what the others doing there?" the Private asked.
"Hell if I know Private. I just happened to be the nearest one at a copter who could fly. Every other one was out scanning the city, some BSAA spook s***." Nathanos grunted.
"f**king 'BSAA." the Private said, "Those guys creep me out. Always walking around like there on a mission with enough fire-power to wipe out a platoon. Give me the creeps. Well good luck with that, sir." the Private said, walking off from the gas tank and lighting a cigarette.
By this time the gas-tank was full and Nathanos entered the helicopter, the vehicle taking off and headed deeper into the Arklay mountains.
"Where to now sir?" Gambhir inquired.
"Nearest airport. I have some questions to ask of Tricell, immediately." Nathanos said.

(Jay, Aya, and Patrick enter)
The trek was long from Sonata Hotel to the Military base deep within the Arklay Mountains, but it was well worth it thought Patrick as the floodlights of the base came into view. Sounds of heavy vehicles, busy soldiers, and the occasional bark of an order was like music to the former soldier’s ears, and he smiled inwardly as they approached along the well travelled stretch of road. No reason to be overly weary now, no doubt zombies would be attracted to the base, but they would most likely be dealt with as they appeared, much like it was when Patrick was still enlisted.
But why had they come so far when the man they were after, Eli, was presumably still in Raccoon City? Well, following the fiasco at the hotel, the companions had travelled for a few blocks through the decaying remnants of Raccoon city when a call came on Patrick’s PDA. The name read Ignles and Pat couldn’t have answered it faster. “Koppel?” Came the raspy voice, sounded like he had been shouting just a tad too much.
“Yeah Mike, it’s me. What’s up?”
“Ah, you know, normal s***. FNG’s getting their s*** f**ked up by zombies en masse, it’s going to be difficult to hold these goddamn apartments any longer if we don’t get some backup,”
“I hear ya, it’s just like Y2K, member that s***? There was a laugh, a bit of a snort even as the two carried on like the old friends they were.
“That PVT, what was his name? Michaels or something? f**king fell down an open manhole, goddamn. Good kid, bad soldier. Guy’s lucky he broke his leg going down, otherwise he’d have been the first to go,”
“Undoubtedly, but uh, sorry to be the spoilsport; this isn’t why you called me, is it?”
“Nah man, just got some information for you ‘bout that guy you’re lookin for. Looks like he turned up and is currently listed as active by his CO. However, the 47th Infantry is leaving the city to regroup, they’re heading up to the Arklay Base, you know where that is?”
“Same place as before?”
“Same place as before. Listen, take it easy. And be careful up there, got a lot of reports of Bravo Oscar Whiskey’s up around there,”
“Gotcha Mike, thanks for the assist. Remind me I owe you a beer,”
“Right, I’ll notch it up with the hundreds of others,” The pair shared a final warm laugh before disconnecting the call, and that my friends is why the trio were now within the red zone of the Arklay Military Base.
“Halt or you will be fired upon!” Came a loudspeaker ahead, and instantly the group stopped.
“On your knees! Now!”
“Hey! Is this really necessary? We’re friends of Captain Mike Ignles, 10th Mountain Division!”
“I said on your goddamn knees!” He knew the guy was running the name past his superiors, so Pat dropped to his knees. There was a long pause, and then finally the loudspeaker crackled again. “Okay, approach the gate and you’ll be let inside,” And that was basically it, once they were inside Pat bee lined for the headquarters, leaving Jay and Aya to go about what they needed to do. There was an armoury setup for distributing ammo to survivors, a mess hall that constantly served warm food, and a number of other services provided for both the soldiers and the survivors that came through on a regular basis.
“Meet back at the gate in fifteen, you should be able to find Eli by then!” The former officer shouted back at the pair. He was in need of some ammo, but first he’d check the HQ to see if there was anyone there he knew.

"Really?" Aya whined, she slumped forwards, "Figures..." it was like pulling an animal out of their habitat; she was a city girl. Throw her in with the crops and you'd probably be asked which ones were microwavable. Back to the humidity and night time abmience, mud, mosquitoes, general lack of a real shower. How these soldiers pulled it off was beyond her. The three had cut through a small patch of thick forest to reach the road leading to the base; Aya had complained the whole way. Tangled up in branches and roots, "Gorrammit!" she spat, tearing the branch clean from its home. Y-Generation; although don't ever verbally classify her as that. “On your knees! Now!” Lit grey eyes looked down at the ground, the Ivory girl surveyed this for a moment mumbling under her breath, "Yeah... no. I'd get mud on them," Pat had seemed certain though, and Aya figured he'd understand the most what with his slightly formal attire. Slowly the girl lowered towards the ground, biding time until the call rang that they were legit; didn't even get to crouching point. It felt strange being in the base; Aya assumed her time with military folk would grant her that chummy feeling with the kind wherever she went. Yet this was different. The checkpoints had been casual; here it was all about business. Thankfully being of civilian stature it meant she wouldn't be ordered about, except she was visiting on terms of a thin link to Patrick, "I'd better not get too overreactive in here," she noted to herself outloud, "Might get thrown on my ass if I get in someones way,"“Meet back at the gate in fifteen, you should be able to find Eli by then!” Aya watched the casual marine trot off. She looked to Jay in the corner of her eye, "...Umm," digging her hands into her pockets, "Don't s'pose you'll need an extra spotter on that task?" she asked the death incarnate, "Otherwise, I'll leave this in your capable hands," there was no doubt this reuniting could be personal, and Aya would just feel like a third wheel. To be blindingly honest though, the girl couldn't see a lot that warranted the need for her own attention; nor much else she truly wanted to be involved with.

Jay watched Patrick run off and turned her grey eyes on the kid before her. Before Aya could run off, she reached out and grasped her shoulder. "Hey, don't stray too far on your own. Military or not, they're not all good guys. Keep that in mind, until then, I'll see you at the gates, Aya," she said, strutting off and ahead of the girl. She didn't want to seem so demanding, but she knew how some of these military officials were. Not all of them were good people, she knew that from nearly 40 years of experience.
She moved thorugh the groups of soldiers walking about, talking, some of them planning infiltration somewhere in the mountains. A facility somewhere, it didn't matter too much, she knew Eli wouldn't be involved with that. He's a solo, kinda guy.
"You look lost, do you need any assistance?" a soldier asked.
Jay shifted her stance a bit. "Yeah, I'm looking for someone. Eli Mitchell. He's a soldier...about six feet-two, athletic build, brown hair and brown eyes?" she asked.
The man brought a hand up to his chin, trying to rake his memory as thoroughly as possible. He's seen alot of people in the past fifty years, it'd be a pain in the ass to remember one, single, person.
"I'm not sure, I think I remember dispatching a group with someone that fits that description in command. We have many volunteering soldiers coming around, he may be one of them. We sent him outside of Raccoon though. Goodluck catching up with him. He left the other night," the man told her.
Jay felt her heart nearly sink into the pit of her stomach. He was gone again. She'd barely missed him. Casting a glance downward, she tried to form the words she wanted to say. She was usually tough but with this news, it'd hit her hard. All she wanted was to see him why the hell did he keep leaving?
"Where did you send him?" she asked.
The man raised a brow. "I apologize, I'm not able to contribute any sort of coordinates of our soldiers," he told her.
"That's bulls***! I've spent six, f**king, years! SIX MOTHER f**kING YEARS looking for this man!" she growled, grasping onto his collar and pulling him to her, he would have done something, but he could slightly understand her pain.
"I ask that you release me, ma'am. I'd hate to have to place you under arrest for assault," he said to her.
She pursed her lips, her eyes glaring intently at the man as some of the personnel around her, stopped and stared, eyeing her movements and ready to shoot if deemed necessary. With a sudden burst of laughter, she let go, practically shoving him back a little.
"Place "me" under arrest? Do you have any f**king idea that the world is overrun with f**king zombies? And you want to ARREST me? Hahahaha! That's hilarious!" she laughed.

To say the CO’s tent was a letdown for Pat would be a total understatement, and contrary to how he’d entered it, he left it five minutes later with pathetically low spirits. It was a hard state to knock him into nowadays with everything he’d gotten into or seen in the last few years, so it was a bit of a shock even to him. At the root of his problems was a few things, firstly he knew no one in the tent. Secondly, he had been thrown out on his ass by armed guards, as apparently civilians weren’t allowed to be present in the tent, and he found out why during the five minutes he had been in there.
Unlike when Pat used to command similar amount of men during the initial outbreak, these men had completely different ideals towards not only the handling of the walkers, but also of the handling of civilians. Whereas initially the survival of all civilians came as top priority, nowadays the top spot was taken by ‘VIP’s’ which Pat knew meant high ranking retired officers, politicians, and the rich. He had half a mind to just run amok in the base, but knew it wouldn’t solve anything, and he also knew the best thing he could possibly do now was to help as many survivors as he could in the ruined remains of Raccoon City.
Arriving at the gate earlier than he had ever anticipated, even after a quick stop-off at the armoury for some ammunition, he was surprised when he found that Jay hadn’t gone too far away, and was apparently drawing a crowd as she clenched an NCO by the collar and reeled him in. Man, she was as feisty as they came. He wondered what Aya thought of situation, but not spotting her through the mass of soldiers and civilians alike that rambled around, he just contended himself to relax. This mean nothing more than hopping up and sitting down on the hood of a parked Humvee that sat a few meters from the gate.
