Louis brought Andreya up with the help of Thorton, and then rested her up against the wall with his shoulder under her arm. He waited for Thorton to bring himself up, wanting to give him an little hand, but knew that keeping hold of Andreya came first in both of their opinions. As Thorton climbed to his feet, Louis brought his eyes back down the hole, staring at the dead man below. Hed seen and been through quite a lot of strange things in his journeys, but this was one to put on the top of the list. He could almost still hear the screams, but was snapped back into reality when Thorton called out "Clear".
Holding onto Andreya carefully, Louis followed Thorton. He assumed they were going back to the room so that they could reassure their safety, but also expected the man to formulate a quick plan of action to get out of this place. Louis was certain that there could possibly be more dangers inside this old hotel, and he would much rather the danger he knows then the danger he doesnt.
After reaching the room, he lay Andreya down on the bed, and then stood out of the way so Thorton could be with her. Louis grinned in releife as he walked out of the room, and into the adjacent across the hall. Digging through the closets again, he found some more boxes, dragging them out a bit more causiously after what happened last time. Using his knife to cut them open, he found some old appliances inside. Grabbing one thing that cause his eye, a TV remote, he snapped open the back and removed the two AAA batteries. Pulling one in his jacket pocket, he placed the other one in the light on his .45 LED. Flicking it on and aiming it around, he felt flicked it back off and then holstered the gun.
Dragging the box across the hallway and into the room Thorton was, Louis slid it up against the wall, and took out some bigger things to get to the ones on the bottem. There was a bunch of random gadgets inside, and maybe it was his creative mind going active, but he knew they could be of use. Louis found a small can of kerosine, making sure to hold onto it in his pocket. Along with his, he had found an empty lighter, which he could fill with the fluid he had left. Doing this on the spot, he threw the empty case back in the box, and out the fill lighter in his pocket. Standing up, Louis stood back by the door. He was getting a little paranoid, almost expecting something to come at them. He wouldnt be surprised. Putting some attention back into the room, he spoke out softly. "Hows she doing...?"

"Not too good." Thorton said, drawing another shot of the antidote for the spider's venom. "She's going back to how she was before the serum was given." He said, holding her arm steady as he stuck the needle into her vein. He sure hoped that f**ker hadnt booby trapped or misslabled the bottles. Of course, he wouldnt have much of a need to. He was so sure no one would survive his little games.
"What are you doing with all that crap?" Thorton asked as he held Andreya up at a slight incline to help her breath.

Andreya moaned slightly as she shifted in Thorton's arms. She opened her eyes for a bit, and lazily looked around the room. Her eyes finally falling on Thorton as she laid in his arms panting heavily. She smiled weakly before resting her head up against his chest. She brought her knees up to practically curl into a ball. Her good hand gripping his shirt tightly as she closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep. Though she was still sweating profusely, and her fever was still relatively high. She shifted in her sleep to get closer to Thorton. The man who since she had met made her feel safe. Adjusting her head slightly in her sleep so she could breath better, she finally fell silent as she laid still in his arms.

"Crap? Here, check this out..." Louis turned to Thorton shortly after he spoke. Pointing his .45 toward the doorway, he switched on his LED, lighting up the former dark hallway. Turning it back off, he holstered the gun, and then pulled out the lighter, flicking up a pristine flame. Putting that away back in his pocket, he pulled out the container of lighter fluid, and then layed it on the table. "Mixed it myself. I know you smoke, so im sure you got a lighter... Take the rest of that if you want, fill it up..."
Louis had nabbed the fluid from lanterns and other simple fuel related tools. It works just as well as the store boughten fluid, maybe even a little bit better. Tinkering with little odds and ends had always been his obsession, especially since the first outbreak. It also kept his mind off his other obsession, which was always a plus. Going through the stuff on the floor, he found a box of throw away razors. Opening them up, he cracked the shell, and extracted the razors themselves, placing them in a little pouch inside his coat. "It may seem a little crazy, taking junk with me, but when it saved your life aswell as lives around you more then once, it seems far from crazy.... Dont ya think?" It was a little ironic, him talking about saving lives, when hes killed more then he saved. Maybe his conscience was turning over a new leaf, but maybe he was just thinking too much.

"I'll give you that. Farthest thing from crazy in the world." Thorton said. He had improvised many things on the battlefield. Each had either saved his life or the life of one of his teammates or a civilian, or taken the life of the enemy. He could probably build a bomb with what was in the crate, but that seemed moot at this point. He had a few grenades for when the time came.
Eyeing the fluid, he picked it up and looked it over before tossing it back to Louis. "You keep it. You never light a cigar with a lighter. You use a wooden match. Dont get that oil aftertaste." He said, absently putting the cigar that he had left on the table in his mouth. He didnt light it because of Andreya being here, he just let it hang in his mouth and chewed at it a bit. Helped him to think.
"We're going to stabalize her here and then get moving. If possible, we need to get to the airport in Raccoon City. It's fortified and the national guard boys are stationed there to keep the only airfield in the area safe. Sound like a plan?" He asked, checking Andreya for a change in her condition.

Andreya yawned slightly as she slept, but never stirred any more than that. Her sleep seemed to become rather painful, as her breathing was becoming a bit better. Though she was still sweating and held a high fever, and yet she smiled in her sleep as she nuzzled her head against Thorton. It was a bit before she stirred again, and slowly opened her eyes. She looked tiredly around the room, before looking up at Thorton. She smiled weakly before closing her eyes again, and tightning her grip on his shirt. "A- are y- you okay?" she asked with a slight hint of a slir to her words ontop of the many breaths she had to take in order to speak it. She shivered slightly before laying still. Not asleep, but still she held her eyes closed as she felt comfortable and safe in Thorton's arms.

Louis looked at Thorton, and grinned thinking about what he said regarding the matches instead of the lighter, it made sense. He wasnt a smoker, never smoked in his life. It never really turned him on any, and generally turned away customers back in his old job. But he didnt mind people smoking around him, that was normal in this day an age. Grabbing the fluid, he placed it back into his pocket, and then listened to Thorton. "The airport? I guess what would make sense..." Louis saw Andreya wake up, and then start to speak. Ironically, they should be asking her the same thing. Thorton was fine as long as she was, that was a given.
But Louis didnt like the idea of the airport, he generally stayed away from those places. Full of public, it was the only thing that made him uncomfourtable. He liked to stay on his own for the morst part, two people didnt bother him. But being in a crowded area made things a bit difficult to manuver, and if anything did happen, he would be right in the middle of it. The further away from people he was, the closer he was to surviving, thats how he always lived. But he didnt express this, there was far worse things inside Raccoon City, and the airport ment security, or so Thorton said. He took his word for it, Thorton wasnt a man to spread false truth. "...Sounds like a plan. Maybe I should scout the area around the building while you tend to her..."

"Sounds good." Thorton said, for once content to let Louis go out and do what he wanted on his own and for him to stay here with Andreya. He wasnt going to lie to himself and say he wasnt exausted. Seemed like they were being hit from all sides the past day and a half. The mob, monsters, serial killers. It got on your nerves after a while.
"Ya, you go do that. I'll hold down the fort here." He said, absently running his hand over Andreya's head.

Andreya shifted absently in Thorton's lap. Her hair was completly soaked from her sweat, and her cloths were seemingly getting that way. She rolled from one side to another, and as soon as she put weight on her bad arm she let out a cry. She rolled back onto her other side, and gripped her arm rather tightly. Opening her eyes she looked around before looking tiredly up at Thorton. She licked her lips dryly and went to speak, but nothing come out. She went to speak again, but still nothing came out. She looked at him oddly before rolling back on her side. Rubbing her neck she closed her eyes as she licked her lips again. Her throat was swollen she could feel that from the touch alone, but that wasn't the only problem. Her mouth and throat were as dry as could be, and it was as if the saliva in her mouth wasn't even there.
Still she shivered slightly as she laid there. Closing her eyes but not going to sleep. She just laid in Thorton's lap feeling safe and secure as she had always been since he had taken care of her. She smiled lightly even threw the pain she was feeling, and still even more threw the fever she held. She was with Thorton again, and that was all she ever cared about. Though she didn't go to sleep she just laid there with her eyes closed enjoying the feeling she had from being around him.

Louis nodded, and then left the room, closing over the door just a bit. He kept his jacket open, with the .45 sticking out for easy access, but he knew the place was pretty much safe now. Moving out of the front doors, he stepped onto the entrance, closing the door fully behind him. The sun was just coming up over the trees now, he didnt need his light to see anything now. As tired and exausted as he was, Louis could never find himself trying to fall asleep. It was important to keep up your energy, but he just never felt it was the right time to be sleeping. The rare occasion maybe, but he would have to be nearly certain where he was would be safe for the whole night, on top of someone he trusted keeping watch.
Louis was surprised at how little goes on around Arklay, ironically being the area where all this started in the first place. Thats probably why Joey stayed here the whole time, it was the safest place hed ever known. But now thinking about it, he had pretty much dragged Thorton and Andreya all the way out here to do something he never even got to do, and wasnt planning on doing it in the first place. It was about damn time he was the follower this time, as much as he lead himself years before. He was sure Andreya, as well as Thorton, knew that if anything was needed, he would be there. This would also let Thorton know that they could get things done without worrying about leaving Andreyas side.

Thorton tried to move with Andreya, giving her as much comfort as was possible, but he gave up when she cried out in pain from her arm. He regretted that he had been more worried about taking cover than making sure nothing happened to her. He would have been fine. Not like he had never been shot before. He looked at her when she tried to speak, and saw her problem.
Unhooking the canteen of water on his belt, he unscrewed the cap with his thumb and middle finger and offered it to her. She'd probably choke on it at first, but she needed fluids. She seemed to be dehydrated, something they had to kick in the ass right now before it got any worse. No way was he going to stand by and watch a new string of problems happen when he could easily prevent it.
"Here, take a sip of this." He said, sitting her up as gently as he could until she was in an upright position.

Andreya coughed and chocked on the water as it practically touched her lips. After a bit she finally took the canteen into her own hands, and started drinking. Slowly at first before large gulps, and it wasn't even two minutes and she had completely downed the whole thing. She held the canteen in her hands as she leaned forward panting slightly, before looking up at Thorton with a weak smile. She leaned forward wrapping her arms around him into a rather limp hug. "T . . . tha . . . thank yo . . . u," she managed to cough out before she pulled away. She whipped the sweat from her face before looking around the room. "A . . . are we lea . . . leaving?" she asked, and again threw her heavy coughing. She rubbed her chest lightly before she looked up at him with tired eyes

Louis took another stroll around the building, looking around for any details he could pick out, for whatever reason he could make up to himself. Looking at the surrounding area became a habit he took on now, wherever he way, he wanted to have more then a general idea where they were exactly. After looking into the woods line, he found the trail leading back to Raccoon City. Well, he wasnt possitive, but based on the general direction it went, he could pick out where they needed to go. It was clear that Thorton had his mind set on heading to the airport, so Louis would agree, and wait here until he and Andreya were ready for the hike back to the city.
One thing he was banking on, though. Hopefully they might have ammunition at the airport, for emergencies. He would never boast, or try to pose as someone of greater importance, but Louis could do a lot of good with more ammunition. Probably just as much as the next person, but if they were even looking for temporary work at the airport, he would agree so long as it got him more ammuniton for his weapons. He never liked to rely on his guns while on the job, there was always better ways to handle a situation. But if its one thing hes learnt in the last ten years, its been that ones lifespam is usually measured not only by vitality, but by the bullets left in their gun.

"As soon as your able to be moved, yes. We're going to the airport. It will be safe there, and we'll be able to go home." He said, talking about Hawaii. When she had come to live with him, he had moved out of the barracks and into a small two bedroom apartment. It was their home, and he was ready to go back and not leave for a very long time.
"We may end up staying the night, the shape your in." He said, not thinking it was a bad idea. They had come here looking for refuge, and had been robbed of it. Now that the danger was deceased, it should be ok to stay. He supposed he would take it up with Louis when he got back. It didnt matter how much they wanted to get out of here or how the plan was going to go, she came first.

Andreya coughed heavily before shifting again, and getting as comfortable as possible on Thorton's lap. She nuzzled her head slightly in his lap, before stifling another cough which in turn made it worse. Rubbing her chest slightly she closed her eyes, but still didn't fall asleep. She practically curled up on the bed using the man that protected her and made her feel safe as a pillow. "I- I'm sorry," she spoke quietly with a heavy breath. Swallowing a bit before she spoke again. "I'm sorry . . . that I'm n . . . not like everyone else," she spoke in a whisper. Tears already starting to stream down her cheeks as she did. "I. . . I'm really sorry I . . . I keep making things worse f . . . for you. No m- matter how hard I try . . . I j- just seem to make it worse t- than it was before," she cried. Sniffing heavily as she reached up with her good arm. her hand gripping his pant leg tightly. "I- I'm s- so sorry f- for everything."
