Preston grabbed Joey's hand and firmly shaked it. "I'm actually heading to Raccoon City. I have to find my Parents." He said. Preston let go of Joey's hand and made his way back to the Impala. "Oh, and the names Preston. Thank your father for letting me stay last night. Preston opend the door and got in the car. Once he sat down, Preston laid his head on the top of the steering wheel. Those are very nice people that live there. Joey and Richard, Hmm I never caught thier last names.

"Raccoon City? Your not going in there alone. That place it too dangerous to be on your own, regardless of how much experience you have. Gimme five minutes, ill tag along..." Joey didnt want to mention anything about the mans parents, it wouldnt be right. But chances are they were dead, maybe Preston knew that himself, he just couldnt ignore the city without at least trying to look for them. Even Joey himself had people still alive, but one person in particular, he was sure would be dead by now. However, he needed that little bit of faith, its what kept people going in times like these.
Running inside the house, Joey grabbed the double barrel shotgun from the floor, and threw it into his room on the bed. Then, he picked up one of the presents from under the tree, and opened it, taking out the .44 magnum with the two boxs of ammunition. Once he got into the room, Joey threw a crate-full of shotgun shells into a duffle bag, along with the shotgun. It was sawd off about two thirds of a foot down the barrel, making it a perfect fit. Along with this, he took what was left of a single box of .308 rounds, figuring he woundnt need that much. After compiling the bag, he ran into the kitchen, and grabbed a few bottles of water, and an unopened package of beef jerky, something he had been saving.
Coming out to the living room with his things packed quickly, Joey looked at Richard, and spoke out knowing he could hear him. "Take er easy, and make sure to clear off those f***ing solar panels, its gonna be hot one this week." Joey ran out the back door, shutting it behind him. There parked on the edge of the treeline was the pickup truck he came back in awhile ago. Luckily, there had been enough gas left in it for a few trips, but he knew it wouldnt be coming back to the house in one piece. Pulling it around to the front of the house, Joey honked the horn twice, saluting to Preston as he passed by back onto the trail. He could lead the way to a solid path, completely doable by the Impala up here in the mountains, even if it took then an extra fifteen or twenty minutes.
[Joey and Preston now leaving the Doucette Residence]

"Sorry for running off in the middle of the night, I wanted to make sure everything was prepped for departure. If you see anything back there useful, feel free to take it. It belongs to the BSAA though, so just make sure not to take everything." The bird flew over the forest of the Arklay Mountains, high in the sky without a worry in the world. The passengers all in the back was interesting, Hal never had this many people. However, by the time they arrived at the Dam, it looked like the place was lit up. The military, or another group, had the place on lockdown. This was something that Hal wasnt are of, but wouldnt let it put a dent in the plan. "Hey, we cant land near the dam, its under some sort of security measure. I know a place up the mountain, though, would only add another ten minutes of hiking, and it would be all downhill, too..."

Amelia pulled up to Hal's helicopter and stopped the Humvee out front. She opened her door and hopped out of the vehicle. Allison and Katy did the same, and Arc jumped off of it's roof onto the ground. Hal walked out of the helicopter and down onto the dirt ground, explaining his absence. Amelia directed everybody to load what they needed into the back of the helicopter in a hurry, everybody was eager to leave before sunrise. The helicopter's rotary blades began spinning. After everything was loaded and ready to go, the group abandoned the Humvee and climbed into the helicopter. Amelia slid the door shut behind her and climbed up front next to Hal, while the rest of the group sat in the back seats.
"Thanks, Hal, good thinking getting us ready early," she told him. She called out behind her, "Everybody good to go?"
After various "Yep" and "Uh huh" responses, the helicopter lifted into the air and took off.
~~
Once they finally reached the mountain side, Hal explained that they would have to take a bit of a detour. "No problem," Amelia told him. Hal flew higher up above the mountains and flew over the dense forest canopy. The sun had began to rise slowly and the glimmer of small raindrops covered every window in the chopper. The helicopter descended in a small clearing in the middle of the forest and onto a grassless patch of ground, barely large enough to land on.
Amelia stood up from her seat and slide open the door on her left while Allison opened the door on her right. One by one, everyone jumped out onto the damp forest floor.

Removing the headset, Hal stepped up from the seat, and then waited for everybody else to exit the chopper. It had been quite a long time since Arc inside, and he was able to pick up his weapons from the last time, and some ammunition too. As the group got out into the grass, Arc looked around, knowing exactly where they were. "This is where the old man lives, isnt it? And his son..." Hal nodded, this was exactly where they were, and it would be a great place for him to stay while the group did their business down the mountain. The only thing that he was a little worried about is showing up this late, especially landing a helicopter. He was sure that Richard wouldnt mind in the end, but it was early morning. Ah, im sure hes already up, early riser...
"Alright, Arc, I think you know where it from here, take them there. When your finished, come back here, okay?" When the professor spoke, Arc nodded. He was sure where this place was, still picturing the directions in his head. If they went down the mountain from this point, southeast, they would hit it no problem. "Say hi to them for me..." Arc checked his AUG, making sure it was still loaded, and the Desert Eagle as well. He was ready for whatever was thrown at him at this point, but was a little worried about bringing along Amelia and Katy, and Allison at that. They werent bullet proof, where he was. But it was just a psychological thing, he needed to have more faith in his partners, even though they were human. "Just be careful, all of you!" Arc snuck in before the group moved out.

While the rest of the group talked, Allison walked around to the back of the helicopter and dug through the ammunition supply. She was thrilled to find an entire case dedicated to .357 JHP. She shoveled a few dozen rounds into her pocket and continued digging around. She came across a box of standard 5.45x39mm ammunition for her AKS-74U. She already had four 30-round magazines full, but she packed away plenty of extra bullets just in case.
Allison picked up a case of 9x19mm JHP and a case of standard 12 gauge shotgun shells. She carred them around the side of the helicopter and set them on the ledge below the outside door for the rest of the group. Amelia approached the boxes and refilled her stock of 9mm ammo before grabbing Katy and having her refill her supply of 12 gauge. Hal entered the building infront of the helicopter and Arc agreed to show us the way.
"Okay," Amelia said to Arc. "Where to?"
Allison cut in, "Do we actually know which one of these damn houses around here has the actual entrance into this so-called base?"

As the group moved down through the wet treelining, Arc spoke out to answer Allisons question. "No, but theres only three houses, im sure it wont be too hard to find. Especially if theirs anybody around protecting it, one of them will know..." The last part of the sentence was a little scary, as he made it sound like they were going to just walk in and get answers. That was his whole idea, if they needed a password for a door, he was going to be the one getting it, as he wasnt afraid to get a bullet getting close enough to grab one of the guards. Hes done things like this before his condition existed, so it made things a hell of a lot easier.
"Put it to you this way, theirs four of us. We can stick together, or spread out. Approach with with stealth, or scout the area and take them all out at once. Who knows, maybe the place is deserted, we dont have a clue if it even exists. Really, were going by what Louis said to Hal, I dont know about this lab, but ive a good feeling this is where its at. Were gonna be coming up on it soon at this rate, its not far off from the house. So you three make a plan, and ill follow through. Hell, if you want to sit back and let me handle getting us inside, that works too, just make this solid."

"I somehow doubt they're gonna let us walk right in the front door," Allison said snarkily, filling her speedloaders with bullets.
"And that's why we have guns," Katy said, now loading shells into her shotgun.
"Okay, guys, take it easy," Amelia began. "Let's just find an entrance and figure out a way in that isn't too obvious. It'd be nice to capture a guard, if there are any, and question him."
Amela unholstered her Mp9, then continued talking. "Let's check the nearest house first. Hell, maybe there's multiple entrances. It'd be best to go through a back door of some kind, anyway. Especially since we're going in blind. First of all, we don't know if the place even exists. Even if it does exist, we don't know if it will have what we're looking for. Even if it does have what we're looking for, we don't know where it is and how vast the building is in the first place. One step at a time."
Amelia began treading her way through the flora, downhill. The rest of the group followed. Katy had her machete drawn, cutting away any branches or other plants that got in the way. After more or less a few minutes of hiking downhill through the relatively dense flora, the first shack came into view.

At first, one would think that judging by how close this was to the Doucette Residence that it would be a hazard to the safe area, that couldnt be more far from the truth. The forest around had been so thick that not even any vehicles could get through, save for the small path that lead through one side that only the family members knew about. Thinking about it further, it mightve even been a better idea to ask Old Man Richard about the lab, surely he would know for sure, if not his son Joey. More than likely already been there at least once, knowing him and his travels.
But now, it was time to start the operation. As Arc grew closer to the small community of houses, he peered through the treeline in the darkness, and than realized that he was farther ahead of the rest of the group. It wouldve been hard to see, much less keep together, especially where he was used to going alone anyways. By the time the group had gotten to him, they never even realized he was ahead of them to begin with. "Alright, I see two houses that are pretty close, no lights on inside them. The two that are further way have lights on, guards quarters. Its not a front at all, this is just a hidden complex now, nobody would even find it out here unless they were looking for it. Maybe it would be best to split up into two groups of two, each taking one house. Not quite sure if theyre sleeping inside, or if theyre just unoccupied, but it would be a good place to take control of this early into the operation."

"Keep a close eye out for snipers," Amelia told Arc, sitting on one knee, Katy beside her doing the same. Everything was relatively quiet, the only sounds that could be heard being the early morning birds chirping and the humming of a power generator somewhere in the distance. The sun had began to rise in the west, barely illuminating the land in the distance. Suddenly, a light flicked on in one of the two closest buildings. "Wakey wakey," Allison said, standing to her feet and pointing her assault rifle forward. She slowly began making her way toward the lit house and leaned up against the backdoor frame in breaching position. Amelia, Katy, and Arc followed closely behind.
"Katy and I will get the next one; be careful with the guns. Don't fire unless you absolutely have to," Amelia said. Katy and Amelia stealthily made their way over to the backdoor of the next house.
Allison and Arc leaned up against the door, Katy and Amelia did the same at the next house. Allison jiggled the door handle with no luck. With a swift kick, she bashed the flimsy plywood-thin door down, pointing her assault rifle forward. Arc charged in first and Allison stayed close behind. Inside, a man wearing nothing but military marpat-camouflage cargo pants and a white t-shirt stood groggily over a kitchen stove. He jolted backward at the loud crack the door made when Allison kicked it in. The man immediately dove for a pistol on a small round dining table on the other side of the room. The man swiped up the pistol and aimed it directly at Allison. Before he could fire, Allison slammed the grip of her gun against the side of the man's head and he fell to the floor, dropping his pistol. Allison kicked the pistol across the room and knelt down on the man's neck, subduing hum, then aimed her assault rifle frantically around the room, expecting another attack. However, the man was alone. He was clearly military, now the question was whether or not he was with Tricell. On the dining table where the man dove for his pistol, a plain white labcoat-style jacket sat folded. Lying on top with a security card labeled "Tricell INC."
At the next house over, Amelia twisted the door handle and the door opened freely. Katy and Amelia entered the dark house, guns ready. It was unoccupied and appeared to be completely abandoned.

The whole time Allison had been doing her own thing inside the dimly lit room of the small house, Arc had his assault rifle aimed using the scope. It had been so long since he even used a firearm, little lone something with a scope, that his right eye wast used to the feeling of being magnified. The rest of the house had been clear, however. Strange as it was, it was almost a little too suspicious. Arc was getting the idea that this place wasnt as well protected as he thought it was.
Coming around the last corner of the house, Arc seen several dead corpses laying on the ground, and they looked to have been killed recently all from a knife wound to the neck. They werent Tricell, either, they were US Soldiers, which was even more disturbing how something like that couldve happened. "Allison, come look at this..."

The man struggled as Allison held him down by his neck with her knee. Allison let her grip lose when Arc called to her and switched to her foot, now holding the man down with her boot. The Tricell agent was drifting in and out of consciousness from the blow to the head and Allison knew there was no way he was going to get up and run. She stepped off of the man and walked over to where Arc directed her. She was horrified to see the bodies of several U.S. soldiers, four men and one woman, throats slashed. The floorboards below them were soaked with blood. The killings were done here, no doubt by Tricell.
"What the f**k..." Allison said, appalled. "Did that mother f**ker do this? This wasn't just an execution, this was brutal torture."

"...Theres only a few people here in this camp, its not being guarded at all. If there were snipers, they wouldve taken the shot. But its too dark for that, anyways. I think we should regroup with Amelia and her friend, I dont like the looks of this. Well come back for him..." Arc walked over to the man on the floor, and lifted his head up a few inches above the floor. Slamming it down, he knew the man was out cold. Than pulling out his knife, he drove it into the man leg, leaving it deep in there until they returned.
Quickly moved out of the home, Arc kept the assault rifle shouldered, and than looked around the camp. He might not be able to see in the dark, but he could sense things, the animal instinct inside of him was retained even when he was in control of his condition. From across the small gap, Arc looked through the scope of his gun toward the other house, seeing Amelia and Katy finally enter. From then, he and Allison moved slowely to the back to the house.

Just as Arc and Allison reached the back of the second shack, Amelia and Katy walked back out the way they came.
"Completely abandoned," Amelia told Arc. "What youguys find?"
Allison answered the question immediately. "It looks like Tricell killed off a few U.S. soldiers for getting too close to their homebase. They were massacred-- throats slashed. We've got one of Tricell's soldiers in there alive, but he's unconscious."
"So, if what you're saying is true, Tricell is officially our enemy, then," Katy said.
Allison shook her head and shrugged.

While the group was not out in the open for the last couple of minutes, and nobody had been keeping their tone of voice down, it was clear this place was abandoned. "Tricell was always the enemy, even before I got myself affiliated with the BSAA. If this place is abandoned, than I dont know how were going to go about finding this place. Clearly, its here, somewhere, we just dont know where.." Arc had gotten a little frustrated, not being able to get inside this lad easily. If they didnt need the security, it was definitely hidden away somewhere, finding it would be nearly impossible. If they were going to get in, they would need to find somebody who knew how, or at least pointed them in the right direction.
Before going to the conclusion he wanted to, Arc figured it was at least best they looked around first. He wouldnt even bring it up, not until it was a last resort. "Okay, well, we keep looking. There gotta be a door or something in one of these buildings. We have an unconsious lab scientist in the first house, but id rather not bet money that he would be willing to just tell us where this place is, even if his life depended on it. Ive been through quite a few interrogations in my time, on both ends, and during this outbreak, its not going to happen..."
