Rocked begin firing onto the massive group of enemies as you leap to safety. As you fall, a massive (not as big as the bad one) golden dragon dives to catch you, and carefully grips you both and flys you away. You have a hot 30mm shell land on you and lodge between the right of your neck and back side of shoulder, inside the padding of the Kevlar neck armor. As you struggle to get it out she tried to grip you better, and she loses altitude. But the shell casing cools enough to handle all the way to wherever you’re going. You begin to fade and doze off. You are shaken awake by a black man, wearing a Majors insignia. He’s definitely GPEO. The name plate reads “Neltz”
Major Neltz: “Sir, sir, you good !? Do you know your name, rank and commander ?” He stands before you, the room has many others. Lakeland is sitting up on a cot beside you looking at you. You are in a green tent. It has a few medical beds and there are civilian medical staff, as well as military medical staff.

“1st Lt Caston, Captain Davis. What happened? Where are we?”

Major Neltz: “We've just been attacked, but are sustaining. This is a common situation here. Your commander is still out there. We are about to mount a rescue op. Need one of you on a chopper. We aren’t on your commanders link, so you’ll have to spot the tags when we’re near them.” In this SAR op, you’ll basically see how useful the tags are for search and rescue of personnel. “If you two are ready, the birds are waiting outside.”

“I’m fine. I’m ready to move. I need a rifle and-“ I check for my pistol which was not given back to me.”-possibly the rest too. Someone needed mine more than me.”

He smiles.
Major Neltz: “Check your holster.” When you check it, you find that it’s still where you left it. The pistol has not been moved since you arrived. The rifle, however, has been used by Lakeland, and it’s missing. But, it’s ok, you’ll be able to find it later. The tab for the rifle has an option to display location, so it has a tracker. “Ok. Go on. Pick a chopper.” Lakeland rolls off the cot and walks to one of the choppers. “Yep you in separate choppers. We will do a high altitude search pattern.”

“Works for me. Stay safe out there.” I head to the further chopper to board.

You arrive at the chopper. It’s a UH-60GU, has Mk-19’s as door guns. The pilot and copilot are already on board doing their preflight. Two personnel walk up, a male and female. They are flight crew. They exchange a few words regarding load-out and mission, and board. The woman adjust their seats and door mounted weapons. The man pulls down three drop down cots in the back and removes some seats, leaving four closest to the mounted weapon position. The copilot taps on their wrist device. Their link is open, ready for the group to join it and login.

Your connection isn’t linked to them yet, the commander has to accept. Thr commander accepts. There is a list of names on the chopper flight roster.
•Captain Ariona “Dixie” Landerson (Pilot) •1st Lt. Sarabi “Mad” Fahd (Copilot) •TSgt. Bridget “Crank” Larson (Crew Chief) •SSgt. Thomas “TomBat” Bateson (Gunner)
•Captain Derrick “Buck” Grant (Pilot) •2nd Lt. Jack “X” Marx (Copilot) •SSgt. Ericka “Tidal” Seawall (Crew Chief) •SSgt. Jordan “Slippy” Easton (Gunner)
There is a light blue bar on the officers and a green bar on the enlisted. You’ve been linked. Unlike you, they are without implants for radio communications. You are able to communicate without problem as long as you are on the proper frequencies. You will have to switch the implants to their frequency using the wrist device.

I’ll get on the frequency but I’ll tell Lakeland to stay on Captains if it will help track him. I ask my question to the crew as I get on. “So how long have you all been here? Were you sent for us?”

As you ask and begin to look around, you notice that you are on a small base, which includes an few unfamiliar armored vehicles and equipment. One of the vehicles looks like an M-1 tank, but has no main gun. In stead, it has a massive lightbulb looking thing on top with a few other instruments and is towing an armored trailer, with its own instruments on top.
SSgt. Easton: “This is my first month deployed off-realm.”
SSgt. Seawall: “This Hawk has been stationed here for a month.”
2nd Lt. Marx: “Keep chatter to minimum. Switch to chattle On 118.813.”
There is an option for notifications. One of those notifications you can select is an option that allows you to hear a beep when someone joins the frequency. You can maintain the mission frequency as well as another channel they call the “chattel” for casual chatter. Your device can have up to 4 channels receiving at once, and all channels able to receive your communication in real time, however, you’ll have to switch on or off your transmitting voice.
Example, you have two channels open, your tram and the chattle. Everyone that is on those channels can hear and speak. However, you have four channels you are receiving, so you can hear the AWACS channel, which is a one way channel providing the AWACS info to everyone, but they can’t hear anyone other than whoever has access to it. Then you have your teams mission channel, and it can be switched on when you need to provide details on your specific mission. The channels can be linked to chat groups as well, so you can send messages when you aren’t able to speak. This works on submarines and for folks right next to enemies. This is why the captain was the only one you were talking to earlier because only he was in contact with you, he switched your frequency to isolate it to maintain proper tram organization and mission clarity. Most teams have the general frequency on so they can hear if anyone is near.

I’ll turn on chatter and mission and ask on chatter “Who was the team who crashed the chopper and got saved by the dragon?”

SSgt. Seawall: “I don’t know anything about that, but we are on a SAR now.
Captain Buck: “Keep an eye out for your teams.” He speaks to you. The turbines whine up. The systems go on and the lights. The rotor blades begin to rotate. “Buckle up.”

The choppers rotors reach optimal rotation. There is some radio chatter for taking off and where to fly. The other chopper lifts off first, followed by the one you’re in. You notice you were on an island. There is a damaged Chinook in the middle of the island. You fly toward where you were picked up. You see the many dead enemies and the the remains of the cruel dragon.
2nd Lt. Marx: “Anything you can tell us about regarding where to look ?” He asks.
