Anomalous Trip (Part II)

You got room for three of those clips. Perhaps it’ll be an honor to employ those clips against the enemy out of honoring him. What do you do nao ?

[slicsinatra]

I will make sure I employ them. I get my companion and head back. “Headed back to exfil.”

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “Don’t forget to look at everything in the area to document it. You are first responder.”

[slicsinatra]

I make sure I look around and check every detail I can record in a still frame long enough to isolate every detail possible from the angles. Then I get my teammate, “Ready?”

It takes about five minutes to walk the area that was disturbed to look at everything. You return and eventually hook up and get cabled up into the chopper.

Captain Buck: “While you were investigating, I managed to find his path of movement. It didn’t have the captains data, but it has a direction. I think we should do a 10 mile pattern toward that direction. What do you think ?

[slicsinatra]

“I agree. Most likely unless they split again, it seems he got hit by a handwaver or just gotten by the giant chasing them. If there around, that’ll be a good area to try.”

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “I’ll get us some altitude. FLIR should pick up their heat.” The chopper begins to increase its altitude . “I think we should be able to pick up anything big with a horizon range.” It’s bern daytime for 3 hours. The fog has lifted and there are clouds that were fog earlier increase in altitude. They seem to shrivel up as time passes. The chopper actually climbs through and above the cloud level, at about 1,460 feet. You start to see the large canyon network set below the main terrain. “Dixie’s up.”

I inspect Ritzy’s knives. I hold one in my hand. I take the tip of one and scrawl on the other. ‘Ritzy’s Revenge’ A sad smile crosses my face. I take that particular bolt and replace it in my sheath on my kit where my knife was that I gave to the Sergeant earlier. “Jesus. Come on Cap. Where are you?”

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “I’m right here.”

[slicsinatra]

“Sorry. Talkin to myself.” Jesus these guys.

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “I’m just giving you a hard time.” You reach the altitude of 2,455 feet.

[slicsinatra]

….the player feels as though he should do a wisdom check. Something doesn’t feel right.

You can do a wisdom check, but what are you trying to wisdom about ?

Maybe it could be insight. I’m trying to check and make sure the crew seems ‘real’ if that makes sense. Something feels like I’m being watched. Maybe it’s the paranoia.
