Perhaps you aren’t on the correct channel, or somehow bumped from scanning all channels to one, though have you checked your wrist device for messages lately, or it could be possible something is blocking signal and isolating the aircraft. You won’t know until you can do some tests, until then, it’s reasonable to assume the coms are blocked to that aircraft somehow.

“Gonna do some tests. What exactly are they firing at??” i say this and do some tests, scan for channels. Starting with my original mission channel. I’m saying “CastleEye, it’s Caston, do you hear me?” Testing each one.

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “Got’cha !”

You don’t receive a response.

2nd Lt. Marx: “Another message. H-L-P. C-O-M-J-M-R. L-O-W-F-L. It repeats.”

“s***. I’m assuming we don’t have any refuelers nearby. What’s our move?”

[Dragnoxz]

2nd Lt. Marx: “Gonna tell them to fly this way, to the post. They can land in the field by the town !” He sends the morse code message and repeats it.

Captain Buck: “Major Neltz. We need rotary gunship support at, Uhm, sending location.” He looks at Marx. “Marx.” Marx looks at him, then taps at the screen. “Major Neltz ?” No response. “There’s got to be an enemy jammer or something out here. They are organic though, how ?”

“These beings are psychic in their nature. Pilot, make a decision and pray it’s the right one. Everyone else, brace for possible ejection in case we come under fire. It sounds stupid but do what I say.”

[Dragnoxz]

SSgt. Seawall: “We don’t have parachutes like you.”

Captain Buck: “Whatever is jamming it has to be organic and somehow tapping into radio waves. We don’t have instruments on board to find the source of the jammer, or jammers. We need a P-3 or an E-3, or any E type aircraft to triangulate. We need to.” He shuts up for a moment. “I’ll fly a pattern to write letters in our path. Radar will pick it up.” He checks the map, then begins to fly a pattern. “I’ll just say SND E-CFT, in a cursive flight course. Radar watch will see it on their maps of our pattern. We rehearsed for these scenarios because this s*** has happened a lot here.”

[slicsinatra]

“I’m with you, let’s do it. Also..no parachutes? f**k” I chuckle a bit. “We need better funding I swear.”

[Dragnoxz]

2nd Lt. Marx: “Since when did helicopter crews have parachutes ?”

Captain Buck: “We’re too low to even get unbuckled and out and chute open, it would be a wasted chute, haha.” He turns his attention to the radio. “Dixie, can you reach Neltz ?”

Captain Dixie: “I’ll try.” A few moments later. “No. I think we’re isolated from the rest of them. Or we are blocked somehow. We should stay close in case we lose contact too.”

“Any vehicle can have a parachute if you like skydiving and living on the edge. Anyway. That gun ship should have a few of our guys. They may know some things we don’t. They’ve been flying for hours if it’s who I think it is. They must be running on fumes. Did we ever catch visual of what they are shooting at?”

[Dragnoxz]

Captain Buck: “Hmph, I’m not ditching something with blades above me haha. But anyway, we’re getting close to get visual. Check FLIR for targets.”
