“Yes sure.” I reach for her water. “Hey Seawall is hurt pretty seriously. I’m about to try and fix her up.” I get my pack out and begin to assess the situation.

2nd Lt. Marx: “Oah s***, contact ! Friendlies under attack !”
Captain Buck: “f**k ! Bordeaux ! Get on the 19, cover friendlies !”
2nd Lt. Bordeaux: “Ye-sir !” He maneuvers around you to take Seawalls Mk-19 spot. “Dang, that’s a front that needs bug spray !” He comments, pointing at the ant like row of warriors chasing a small group on the ground. The music still loud enough to hear, playing another song (you choose the track, as long as it’s from before 2018). Seawall takes her water and clumsily drink.
Captain Buck: “Gonna slow them down.” He rolls the chopper to maneuver it for a rocket dump, and opens fire. The rocked slide off and make a tshh, tshh tshh tshh sound for ever time a pair of rockets launche. In this case, about eight. The line of enemy warriors is hit and plumes of smoke rise. SSgt Seawall starts to faint and drops her water. The bruise reaches her elbow, indicating serious internal bleeding is occurring around the collarbone area, and it looks like the collarbone is different on the damaged side from the normal side. “Rolling back to extract !” You don’t have time to retrieve folks on the ground and tend to her. You must pick which task to do.

(As Rocket Man by Elton John plays) I say “I have to take care of Seawall. If I don’t she’s done for. Bad internal bleeding.” I begin to work on her with my kit. Intel for possible avenues of approach and possibly Dex for speed in which I can stabilize her (if possible)?

Intel for sure.
Dex for the movement of the chopper at a -3.
Go on. Chopper is also on approach to a clearing. The grenade launchers on both sides begin to open up at targets on the ground.

You examine the area and conclude you need to do an X-Ray on the collar bone but most likely will need to open up the area to stop the bleeding. She faints and remains unconscious. Her heart is pumping fast, but she looks very pale.
With all your modifiers, your Dex made directly on, one less you’d not be able to successfully pull off the procedure.
The intel was to see if you knew what you’re doing. Dex was not to see if you can do it, it os for the action itself. With your knowledge, and tools, you do a quick E-Ray, and use your eye implant to look over the area. You see that the collar bone has ruptured a major vein which is hemorrhaging and leaking blood down the arm. At this time, the chopper touches down and the grenade launchers are fully opening up. You begin to sweat.
Three personal board soon after touch down. One shouts GO. You feel heavy suddenly, but are too focused to be pestered with what everything else is doing. You hear folks talking but it’s ambient. Someone taps your shoulder as you work. One of the others begins helping you, and asks what’s up with the patient. You ambiently tell them and they get into action. You see familiar hands and voice helping you. It’s one of the operatives you were with when you arrived. He tells you about what happened but you are too focused. He holds the vein clamped far up and you connect a stretch seal to the vein to ensure the seal can stretch and act as touch as a normal vein before it is replaced with the persons cells. You pull back and the other person uses go-stitch and stitches some of the layers of tissue, then holds open the skin so you can go-stitch some of the muscle tissue and they let go so you can use an eight inch strip of antibiotic surgeon tape to close the six inch access wound. You also load an ND-Capsule to the nano drone kit and take a sample of her blood and place it into the machine substance reader. Then enter on your wrist device what you want to do, which is synth a blood matrix. The computer takes a moment but it programs all the nano drones to produce one thing for a minute upon contact with water. You open her water and dump the nano drones in and dump a carbon capsule in and shake the f**k out of it. The fluid eventually turns a yellowish red, then it completely turns red. You add the water to an IV stand and plug in the proper hoses for a blood transfusion like thing. At this point the chopper touches down on a small island in a river. Two exit and go somewhere, but they are relaxed, not in a hurry. You attach the blood synth to the IV holder and hook a needle to the tube, and poke the needle into her arm to allow the blood to enter her body. The synth blood is actually fairly warm, on FLIR it would look a little warmer than actual blood, about 105°F. You know it’s due to the nano drones heating up to produce the blood synth in rapid speed. Once the blood is in her body, you pack up the gear and use a sani-bag for the wrappers and any used gauze and paper towels used. Her heart rate stabilizes and she is no longer pale.
When you are able to relax, you feel your back is soaked and look out to see the German soldier with his STG-44, and the family running up with Davis, Bardlaw and Hyla, who has a mangled right hand, and has a massive hole in her chest. As you see them coming up, the Captains right arm is missing. Bardlaw is the only one of the team unharmed, that you can tell. Everyone boards the chopper and takes a seat. The chopper seems fairly full. The three of your team mates have a seat, the the family members and the German soldier takes four seats. The injured sarient you just fixed up is laying on the ground. The US Army 2nd Lt. Bordeaux is on the Mk-19 gunner spot. You have one spot left. The other row of seats are not installed at the moment. I guess it all works out. The chopper lifts up, and begins to fly back to the FARP.
Unknown: “Target destroyed. Director, out.” You hear the concussion of a distant explosion a few moments later. Then a bunch of radio chatter.
Unknown 2: “Both one and four are out.”
Unknown 3: “Transfer everything into two and three.”
Unknown 2: “Check.”
Unknown (Director): “Water landing by the FARP. They got a backhoe to pull you on land.”
Unknown 3: “We got coms back. Testing !”
Captain Buck: “Five five now.”
Director: “Ay no probs. Apache’s secured the front. VAD closed enemy wormholes. All is clear. Go home, or find a temporary home and get some rest. Out, for real this time.”
Unknown 2: “Coax her in. Easy. Keep on the points.”
Captain Dixie: “Ouhh, you guys be careful.”
Unknown 3: “Trying. We’re as ready as we’re gonna be. Flaps full. Engine three just gave out. Coming in hot. Clear the runway-uh, never mind.”
Perception.

You see the AC-130 fly past, along the river. It’s approaching your landing area. It’s going slow. It reaches a point to where it slows so much it loses altitude. The pilot maneuvers to make a water landing since there is nowhere to land nearby. You barely see it before the chopper flys low behind it nearly two miles away. You can tell it had to have touched down, but don’t know if it landed successfully. Eventually you reach the island and see the nose of the aircraft and most of its left side on land, with its right wing in the water and left wing tilted up. There doesn’t appear to be much damage. It’s not gonna fly any time soon.
Captain Buck: “Major Neltz. Captain Buck. FARP looks busy. Vectors ?”
Major Neltz: “I’m working with wounded. Contact radar.”
Captain Buck: “Radar. Buck. Vectors to land.”
Radar Operator: “Head to the town square. FARP needs remodeling again.”
Captain Buck: “Rodger. Going to Tzadonia.”
Radar Operator: “Cleared to land on arrival.”
Captain Buck: “Cleared to land on arrival.” He glances back. “How’s my sergeant ?”

“She’s stable for now. She might need a follow up and some rest, but I think the outstanding issue has been fixed as good as the situation would allow. She should be okay.” I check her again as we are getting ready to disembark.

Her pulse is stable, and she opens her eyes.
SSgt. Seawall: “Huts like a b*tch, sir’s.” (Oh, you didn’t give numbing agent, but that’s ok, she just needs pain meds).
Captain Buck: “They’ll have medicine at the town. Hang in there.”
Captain Davis: “Caston. Can you hear me ?” He speaks low over implants.

Captain Davis: “You're right. I hope this town has a hotel that has a lock on the door, if it has a door.” The chopper approaches a town along the river. There is a small town up ahead. The chopper begins to slow as it approaches the town. It touches down. Everyone begins to exit.

“Let’s figure this out. Let’s get everyone together and debrief. Then pass out in our respective places if there are some.”
