*Bill enters the hallway, and looks at the remains of what was his barricaded staircase door. He sees no more zombies, and doesn't hear any for that matter. However, I'm sure Bill knows that they are a lot more zombies in the hotel than what he thinks. Bill has a dead grip on the handle of the knife that he acquired not to long ago. Not sure of where to put it because it may just cut his pocket if it allowed it to rest there. Which leads Bill to just carry the knife. Bill looks on to the door, to be glad to the fact that he may be safe for a while. With that being said, Bill went back inside his room, and re entered the roof top. This is when Bill takes a seat down at one of the fancy tables that was laid out up there, in front of the garden. Bill looks down at the garden to see most of the plants are about dead.*
• Bill: "Good thing they don't try to kill me... wouldn't know what to do against a zombified plant."
*Bill chuckles on, and realizes that he doesn't know what to do now. Even with an empty G31, he knows he can go and whip zombie ass all the time. He is human, after all. Bill had sat the knife down on the table, and placed his elbows at the edge. Bracing his head up by balling his hands together and had his chin rested on his hands. Bill doesn't know if he can draw out a plan that would allow him to get to his family in Brooklyn, or if he could even get out of Vegas. He really didn't wanna doubt himself, but I don't think he has much of a choice. It's either run or hide, and Bill sure as hell didn't wanna hide. Bill leaped out of the chair, grabbing the knife before heading back to his room. He walks over to his wardrobe and ransacks through it. He spots a duffel bag that had his MMA gear inside it. Bill pours the contents of the bag onto the floor. He carries the duffel bag over to the kitchen of his room, and places wrapped food that's not required to be cooked, inside. After that, he walks back over to the wardrobe, and throws two outfits inside. Bill looks to the floor, and sees the baseball bat that he used a while back, and decides to throw it in there as well encase he loses his knife or something. After Bill zipped the duffel bag up, he takes the long strap, and wraps it around his body. Turns the duffel bug around to where it lays on his back. Bill concludes that he is done with the hotel. So he heads to the elevator after regrouping with his knife. Pressing the button and waits for the doors to fly open. As Bill stands there, he still doesn't hear anything, which is awkward. Before, he could hear stuff going on down at the lower floors. After fighting the bander snatch, it seemed as if the hotel has vacated. Which Bill knows is not true. He then thought that Violet may have got them chasing after her on her departure. The door opens, and Bill steps inside, and pressing the G button for the Ground level. Bill stands in the elevator, and as it shifts and motions downward, Bill repositions the knife in his hands by swinging it within his fingers encase he has to use the knife when the door opens again. To his surprise, when the elevator stopped, and the doors opened, the lobby was empty. No sight of movement what so ever. Bill looked around, and he just knew that something isn't right. Bill decides instead of exiting the hotel right away, that he would look around for anything suspicious. They were also more corpses laying on the floor than what he can remember, as if they just dropped dead from starvation or something. Bill steps over countless corpses, to come across a corpse that is wearing a officer uniform. This tells Bill that he may have either a gun, or ammunition. Bill bends over, to examine the body. Seeing that he does have a gun, but the handgun the cops carry were different than what he has now. Bill didn't know much about guns, so he couldn't identify what kind of gun it was. He grabbed the gun to see if it had ammo in it, and luckily it did. Bill sat the knife on the floor so he could pull out the G31. Also placing it on the floor, and removing the clip from the cops gun to see how many rounds it can fit, and how many shots it has. He looks at the ammo after removing the clip to see that it's the same as the rounds his gun before had. Bill didn't know this, but the Cops gun was a G18. Meaning, they both use the same ammo. Bill then grabbed his G31, and took out the clip. Seeing the clips aren't the same, Bill replaced the cops clip of ammo into his clip. Giving it a full clip, and some extra bullets. Bill took the cops clip, and left the five inside, and placed that clip in one of his pockets. Sliding the G31 back down into it's holster, and throwing the G18 down. Bill examined the body further, to see he had a flashlight and handcuffs. He didn't think having those would be necessary, so Bill stands up, and heads to the exit of the hotel.*

[Entering the Flamingo from the Gun Store]Cam pulled his truck into the parking lot of the Flamingo. Even though it was an older casino, it was still impressive. He put his truck in park and turned off the engine. Outside he heard the sound of splashing coming from the some of the pools at the Flamingo. It was weird but with the entire world being overrun with the undead, Vegas seemed to be unaffected by it. People played and laid out in the sun, enjoying their lives instead of fighting for them. Cam got out of the car and stretched. He felt his back pop as the tension released from his lower spine. Then he opened the back door. Inside, his rifle laid on the backseat. He picked it up and took it to the rear of the Land Cruiser, opening the tailgate. Then he flipped up the carpet in the back and opened up a steel box that looked like a miniature toolbox. It was a hiding place where Cam kept his valuables. He quickly disassembled the Ruger and placed it in the case with the 2 mags. Then he shut the door. Next he pulled his holster and pistol out and popped the mag out of the handle. Then he placed all of them in his pack. Locking his car, he made his way to the lobby of the casino. He was quite distracted by two young women in skimpy bikinis that ran by him on the way to the pool. Turning to watch them run, he didn't look where he was going and ran into the door. A small laugh came from his right. He rubbed his head and looked over at the doorman who was smiling and shaking his head. "Not the first time that has happened son", he said. Cam grinned. "I'll probably do it again later on today." With that, he entered the casino and went up to the front desk. After booking a room on the 10th floor, Cam went over to the gift shop. It was a gorgeous day and the pool beckoned him. He needed to get a bathing suit. Fifteen minutes later, he was in the elevator, heading up to the 10th floor with his purchase. Slipping the key into the slot, he opened the door and walked in. The place was decorated in an "Old School" feel, Cam thought. They were probably trying to give the customer the feel of the casino back in the 70s. Cam placed his pack on the bed and opened the curtains. He could see for miles in the clear desert sky. He plugged in his laptop and turned it on. While he waited for the machine to start up, he tried calling his dad again, first on the cell phone, then at the business and last at the apartment. Still, no go. The computer finally was ready and Cam connected to the free internet and opened his window browser. His first search was of his email. Still nothing there... just a handful of junk emails about how he could get a low mortgage, meet singles for a hookup tonight... and make his male unit larger. He deleted the mortgage email... but kept the other two... just in case. Next, he was onto his roleplaying sites. He checked into the Star Wars site, putting a LOA in the thread where they were supposed to go. That would put a hold on the the Battle to Take Corelia for the time being. He was an Imperial Admiral with the might of 2 whole battlefleets at his command. He would have Corelia. Then he checked the Star Trek site and saw that it was down for maintenance. The last thing he found was a link to a Zombie Apocalyptic RPG site that a friend had recommended. He shook his head and shut down the browser. I'm already living the zombie dream, he thought. Standing up, he removed his clothes and pulled on his swimsuit and tanktop and grabbed a towel, a book and his room key. "Now onto the pool and a day with the hotties", he said, stepping outside the door. As it happened an older couple was walking by. The older man smiled and said, "I'll join you as soon as I put her to bed, sonny." Cam just smiled and headed quickly the other way to the elevator. At the ground floor, he wandered out to the pool picking a good place to read and sat down, reclining in the seat. Then he flicked his book open. He was currently reading the Mortal Instruments and was on the second book, the City of Ashes. That Clary was just too much trouble and Simon was better off without her, he thought.

((Not entering, per se, Will's inhabited the room for a day or so as of now))
The bathroom mirror was completely fogged up due to the steam pent up in the bathroom. Placing the palm of her hand on said mirror, she wiped away the water vapor to see a clear, if not, watery, reflection of herself staring back at her. She'd been taking advantage of the hot bath and if it wasn't for her father, she wouldn't have had the luxury of ever sleeping in a clean bed, eating hot meals and washing clothes. Things of that sort.
The problem was, there was no Kevin still. He had to be somewhere safe, he knew how to use a gun, how to camp, things like that. So it was only safe to assume he was alive and out there, maybe near Raccoon still, trying to find a way home.
She'd been on the road for a long time and hadn't seen him anywhere. Coming along to the Flamingo where her parents were for the time being, she felt a little safe, but just as guilty.
She'd frowned a bit, her wet, blonde hair matting her face. Pushing the fringes out of her eyes, she'd turned away and reached for the door knob to her room. Upon entering the large bedroom, the face of her phone, which now charged, lit up brightly. It began to vibrate and move along the bedsheets.
Almost leaping at them, she'd graped ahold of the phone, not even bothering to read the name and answered.
"Kevin?!" she asked, enthusiastically.
"No, it's dad...sorry, sweetheart, I didn't mean to give you false hope...the line to your room seems to be out of service and I knew your phone was still with you..." he trailed off.
"Oh," she began, feeling a tug at her heart. There was this stinging lump in her throat and tears threatened to escape, but she sucked them back and tried to fake a bright smile.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Your mother wanted to know if you were going to accompany her for a drink. I would join you girls, but I have things to take care of. It'd mean alot to me if you'd spend some time with your mother before you leave to find Kevin," he explained.
"Of course...I'll get dressed and be down in a few."
"Alright, sweetheart. I love you...bye."
"Love you too..." Will muttered as the call ended. She'd sighed deeply and sadly, plucking the charger cord off of the phone and putting it aside near her neatly folded clothes.

Cam put his book down and shook his head. "What the hell's with a vampire that can walk in the sun. No doubt the Clave will blame that one on Valentine as well."
He looked at the pool. He was hot and it looked inviting so he stood up and walked to the edge of the pool. He waved to a few of the girls who were sitting along the edge of the pool, soaking their feet in the cool water. He bent is legs and then dove outward.
About the time that he realized he was horizontal, he also realized that he was also a foot above the water.
WHACK!!
The sound echoed in Cam's brain as loud as it echoed around the pool. He came up out of water with a big red rash on his stomach and applaused filled his ears as much as the water had filled his nose.
He smiled goofily and waved them away. His head was ringing and he ducked his head back under the water.
So much for making suave with the ladies, he thought. His stomach rumbled, telling him it was time to eat. He waded to the end of the pool and climbed out. Wrapping the towel around his waist and pulling on his tank top, he headed for his room. Once there, he changed his clothes, grabbed his phone and headed for the outdoor patio. It was about half full and with people sitting out under umbrellas and having a late lunch or an early dinner. He stepped into the elevator and pressed the button to go down to the lobby.
The doors closed and the elevator went down.

Will had been within the same elevator as the man entered. She wanted to be alone but before she could quickly exit, the doors closed and with a ping, it began to descend to the cafe where her mother awaited.
Sighing, she'd awkwardly scooched aside, further into the corner where she'd continued to sulk over her fiance. It was unsettling silent like it should be, since elevator rides were usually quiet and cramped anyway...still, it was strange this time around. Maybe because while she was inside an extravagant hotel in Vegas, the very hotel they were to honeymoon in, Kevin was alone facing undead.
"What a great person I am..." she muttered, bitterly.

Cam had been too busy looking at his phone for messages from his dad when he had stepped into the elevator, so he was pleasantly surprised with his company inside when he looked up. It was a pretty, blonde girl that he guessed was around his own age. She seemed preoccupied with something and the look on her face, accompanied by the fact that she moved as far away from him as possible told Cam that she wanted her space.
He felt sorry for her even though he didn't know why. He was always a sucker for a damsel in distress. In school, he had always befriended the girl that he like and then she had always brought her problems to him... and then go out with some other guy.
It was my lot in life, he suspected. I was made to suffer.
He was going to let her be in her own world, but she said something that he couldn't quite hear. He turned to her and smiled.
"Hi, I'm Cam. I couldn't help but notice that you look..." What word would he use... "distressed. Are you okay?"
The elevator continued to descend.

Will looked up toward the man who had a sincere sense of concern. She didn't want to be rude and ignore him but she didn't really want to give out her life's story either, even if it wasn't a life story but an issue. Either way, he wasn't feeling well and without much hesitation, she'd opened up right then and there. No one else had really asked her if she was alright, they all just told her to move on.
"No no I'm not okay. My fiance is stuck in Raccoon City and I'm here. I can't find any way there to get to him and it' driving me crazy. I miss him and I need to get him..." she responded.
By now, the elevator pinged and the doors slid open, exposing the pathway to the cafe. She'd looked at the man, sadly, before moving onout of the elevator.
"I'm not alright," she said before walking on ahead.

Cam shook his head at her story. They were in sorta the same place. Her fiancé was missing… his dad was gone… and they were both going to Raccoon City… at least that is what he had been deciding on. Now, if he could help her out and get some answers from the Insurance Company, all the better. He would have someone to talk to during the trip and maybe drive as well.
Of course that would mean leaving this Paradise where he was safe and zombies didn’t threaten his life, but there were questions that needed to be answered. Then Cam realized that she was walking on ahead of him. He jogged to catch up.
“Hey wait up a second. I think that I may be able to help you. I need to get to Raccoon City too. My dad is…. Well lets just say missing in action right now and the Insurance Company that we used for coverage has a check for me, but I have to go to Raccoon City to collect. I’d be glad to give you a ride.. I mean a lift to Raccoon City. It would be nice to have some company on the drive… especially pretty company. I mean I was looking have a 300 lbs hairy sasquatch of a guy that offered to ride with me, but he seemed more interested in my cute face.”
Cam shuddered at the memory of the man he encountered in line at the Gun Store. The guy had on camo pants and combat boots, but he had on a pink fishnet tanktop and his backhair stuck through the openings. He kept calling Cam “Sweets” and Cam now realized that it was good that he didn’t stick around for the guy.
“So what do you say?”
Even as Cam offered, he knew he sounded just as weird at the guy in line. But the girl had opened up to him and he felt like he needed to help. Just like back in high school, he thought. Befriend the cute ones and they go out with the jocks. Still it was Cam’s nature to help.

Will had glanced at the man for a split second, considering his offer. He was going to Raccoon City too. Of course, he could be just as no good as the last two men she hitch hiked with. They tried to force themselves on her and at one point, tried to kill her when she escaped. She had the scar on her right temple to prove it.
Then again, he really seemed trustworthy and had a convincing story to boot. Plus, no one else she actually knew, was willing to help. Infact, her own parents forbade her from making the trip.
"I don't know, I mean, I'e encountered a few dishonest men who wanted to, 'help me'," she explained, makin quotations with her fingers. Before the man could respond, a woman, older than them both but still as pretty as she was in youth, had stopped them.
"Willamina! You came! I'm so glad I don't have to have lunch alone. Your father's been rather, er, busy lately, dear and I've missed you terribly!" she told her daughter, pulling her into a tight hug.
Will smiled and hugged her mother back. "Glad I could make you happy, mom," she sad.
Noticing the man beside her daughter, she smiled. "Oh Will, you took our advice and moved on? I was hoping you wouldn't obey your father with that...Kevin is a good man. Then again, this one is almost as cute!" she said.
Will furrowed her brows. "No, I didn't replace Kevin and I don't even know this man."

Cam smiled to stifle a giggle that threatened to escape his mouth. He hadn’t heard the name Willamina… well since forever. Instead he stuck out his hand to the older woman that just had to be Willamina’s mom. They looked alike and Cam could tell that Willamina was going to be pretty long into the future.
He held back responding to Will's response. He too had a guy almost try to "help him" and it wasn't pretty. As long as she didn't have the metal and red bikini that Princess Leia wore in Return of the Jedi, then he'd be able to control himself.
“I’m Cameron. We just met in the elevator. You must be Willamina’s older sister? I’m Cameron. I work for my dad at a game shop in Dallas and was here for a Star Wars Convention when the world went wonky and now I'm waiting to hear back from him because the Insurance Company said that he was killed when his store was destroyed by an explosing gasoline tanker and then a 300lb fat hairy man tried to take advantage of me and he was wearing a pink fishnet tank top and he was sweaty and smelled like a greasy cheeseburger."
This is what an out of body experience feels like, thought Cameron. He was horrified when his mouth opened and information that he never intended to say spilled out like water out of a broken dam. And he couldn't stop. He just kept on talking, hoping the ground would swallow him whole.
Why can't I just shut up?
Finally his brain re-engages and his mouth shut. All he said then was...
"Yeah."

Willamina and her mother, Mrs.Yates had stared awkwardly at the young man, both registering the spilt information. Aftera few seconds, Will hd tried to hold a giggled under her breath and Mrs. Yates had cleared her throat alittle, shaking his hand.
"Well, Cameron, it's a, ummm, pleasure," she began, worried for the boy's wellbeing. "Why don't you join us for lunch? My treat," she gestured, kindly.

Cameron’s face burned flush with embarrassment. He could tell that Will was about to explode in laughter. He couldn’t look her in the eyes, lest she bust out laughing in his face. “That sounds great, ma’am”, he said in a low voice, hoping that his love of Star Wars wouldn’t just start spouting out.
Yep, this was the impression that he always wanted to give at a first meeting. He might has well **** himself and get it over with. He looked down to make sure his zipper was up… it was. Then he fell into step behind them. He was tempted to say he wasn’t hungry, but his stomach grumbled loudly and twisted up. Yep… good first impressions.

Mrs.Yates smiled reassuringly as she escorted them to the table she'd been seated at previously. It was a nice little booth in the corner with soft lights casting overhead. There weren't many people around but the ones that were, scattered around the cafe, talking barely above a whisper.
Will sat next to her mother and kept her hands in her lap the entire time, her eyes averted on the neatly stacked plate with a dessert fork near. It was polished to perfection and the smell of the cafe was that mixture of coffee and vanilla.
"So, Cameron, what were you and Willamina on about before we'd met?" she asked, curiously.
Will quickly looked up and over at Cameron, shaking her head at him, pleading for him not to say a word and avoid the question at all costs. Hopefully, all of that was clear through the shake and terrified look about her face.
