Jack wasnt wrong about her idea of where the man was, but she wasnt right either. He was quite a ways away, hiding in the trees something to the tune of 100 yards away. But, as soon as she turned her back to his position, he made his move. His speed was something of impossible proportions, seemingly blinking out of existance in his place of hiding to just a foot behind her. She never even knew he was there until he struck.
His blows were unexpected and devestating. Jack was hit square in the small of her back with enough force to take her breath away, and was swept off her feet and onto her back so quickly she hadnt seen which direction she was going. Dissorientation filled her mind as she gasped for breath, looking up at the man with the huge grin as he raised his foot in the air to deliver the last blow.
She was done for. She just knew it. It looked like the world was going black already. No, the world wasnt going black. The air was. Like a black mist that hung in the air, a cloud appeared behind the man. It soon started to solidify, turning into a massive monster of a person. Easily eight or more feet tall, it had the body of a human, covered in what looked like a butchers smock. The thing that stuck out most about the creature, however, had to be the huge helmet like apparatus on its head. A helmet in the shape of a miss-shapen pyramid.
The man knew instantly when the cloud started to appear, and made a move to dodge the already huge hand coming at him. He did, barely, and appeared about 20 feet away. The pyramid creature looked at Jack on the ground for a moment before ignoring her and running toward the smiling man. The smiling man, somehow, lost his smile. Rather than try to fight, he tucked tail and disapeard from sight. The pyramid creature, seemingly indifferent to losing its prey, stalked off into the trees.

Jack laid on the ground coughing and wheezing slightly. Her body felt as though it had been turned into a punching bag. She couldn't even make any moves to defend herself, and then man moved so fast that it was nearly devastating to her own body. Blood dripped from the corner of her mouth and her nose as she laid there wheezing and trying to gather herself to move. Still she found it weird that in all that pain her mind drifted back to what had just happened. Was she saved from that mad man by that creature, or was she just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
She rolled on her side stifling a cry as she tried her best to push herself up. She staggered greatly as she fell up against the wall. Her body screamed and she still felt it hard to breath. Her breaths coming in short gaps as she stood. Looking off to the tree line once more, she sighed heavily. Using the outer wall of the building she pushed her way around to the front. She had to get to Mikey, at least with him she could rest. Feeling her head growing light as the world itself seemed to grow swimming. Her hand gripped the railing of the stairs with a death grip. She pulled herself up, and pushed open the door. Gasping out as she moved to enter the building the world around her grew dark. Jack fell to the ground hard as she passed out. Her breathing greatly labored, but a lot better from when she was standing.

Mikey was still lying on the floor, trying to stand up. He had a pressure in his chest like his heart was pullin overtime to pump blood to the rest of his body. To top it off, he was bleeding from his nose and mouth. He'd taken a longer beating than Jack, and even without his powers, Mr. Smiley had some power.
He saw Jack come into the house and subsequently pass out. Seeing this gave Mikey the push he needed to stand. As soon as he did, he doubled over in pain. He didnt know it, but he had a few broken ribs. He stood up after a moment, gritting his teeth to keep from screaming in pain. His walk was a limp on both sides, and after the 30 seconds that seemed like hours, his legs gave out from under him. He fell to the ground near Jack, croaking out something inaudable before he too passed out.
They hadnt been "asleep" more than ten minutes when an old woman happened along the scene. Somehow, she knew they were here and what had happened. She nonchalantly kicked the door shut an dragged both of them into the main room to start patching them up, in a manner. Her chants were heard to them in their sleep, and before long Jack and Mikey would wake, all their injuries healed.

Jack moaned slightly as she shifted on the floor. Soon enough she opened her eyes, and laid there staring up at the ceiling. She didn't move or attempt to move, a bit worried about the pain. Yet after a few minutes she realized something. Sitting up she felt her body and felt her head, only to realize that she wasn't hurting. She wasn't even hurt. "What th . . ." her words ended as she looked up at the woman who was standing in the same room. She looked her over with a bit of confusion. "Thank you, but how did this happen? What happened?" she asked as she looked around the room and then down to Mikey. She was instantly on her knees and put her hand against the side of his face. She sighed with relief when she realized he was okay. "Thank you," she said again as she looked back at the woman. "Who are you?"

"I just happened to be walking along when I noticed the door was open." The woman said, lying. They didnt need to know the details just yet. They'd both find out soon enough. "My name is Daliah." She said.
"You shouldnt be around here. Its dangerous." She warned as if they didnt know. But, if they knew this place like she did, they wouldnt be here in the first place. "He'll be fine, he's just taking his time waking up." She said. Almost like being spurred on by her words, Mikey started to stir and eventually sat up. He had forgotten about his wounds in his tired state, and eventually remembered. He took a moment to check himself and was genuinly surprised when he felt nothing.
"What the hell? He muttered, looking at Jack and the strange woman. "Uhh...hi?" He asked more than stated.

"Her name is Daliah," Jack said slightly as she looked at her and nodded slightly. She leaned back against the sofa and looked at her and smiled lightly. "Thank you for helping us, and to be honest we didn't come here on purpose. We were brought here," she said lightly as she closed her eyes as she laid her head back. "We woke up in a cell down in the basement," she said as she looked back at Daliah. She herself wanted to leave out the part that she use to be an orphan here, or the fact about her power, or how she couldn't even use them in this building. Jack sighed a bit as she straightened up. "My name's Jack, and question. How did you heal us up so well?" she asked a bit confused that if this woman used magic it shouldn't have been possible.

"The seals only block the magic of those not familier with them." Daliah said. She was being purposefully vauge about it all, hoping the two wouldnt catch on and start asking too many questions. She had probably overstayed her welcome anyway. Time to make her escape. "Well, I must really be going now. Hope to see you around again." She said, standing up from her position of resting on her knees and walking toward the door.
"Hey, why are you..." Mikey started to ask, but she was already out the door.

Jack blinked a couple of times as she looked at the closed door once more. She sighed as she laid back against the sofa once more. "So what do we do now?" she asked as she closed her eyes. Sleep would be nice, and to relax. Yet some how she didn't see that coming in the near future. Leaning forward she looked at Mikey with a grin. "Mr Big Shot," she said with a slight laugh. Shaking her head she walked over to the door and opened it. Looking out across the grass to the street as she realized how much this place had changed. "I never realized how close I lived to Silent Hill," she said as she turned to Mikey. "I'm leaving it up to you. What do you think our next action should be?"

"Well, sleep does sound nice, but look at where it got us last time. I say we...wait a second. We were supposed to come here for a reason. What was that reason anyway?" Mikey asked, not remembering in all that had happened. Why had they ended up in this godforsaken orphanage anyway? And on a seperate note, those f**king cells in the basement? "Care to have a look around real quick?" He asked her.

Jack shut the door back, and locked it. Though she wondered if it was going to be of any help. She nodded as she looked around the room they were already in. "Like I said before this place has changed a lot since I use to be here, but I think the bed rooms use to be up those stairs," she said as she pointed to the second floor. She paused for a moment before looking at Mikey. "It's weird being back here. After all these years and I still sense a dark presence looming around this place. It's kind of creeping me out right now," she said with a half baked laugh.
She started to make her way up the stairs stopping again at the top and closing her eyes. It was almost as if she could still hear the laughing and taunting of the other children that she lived with. "I was seven when I was pushed down these stairs. Never went to the hospital. One of the ladies that worked here had been a part time nurse. Set my bones and told me to go to bed. I became very ill after that. I was bed ridden for almost two weeks," she explained as she looked back down at him. "This place brings up a lot of bad memories for me. Many I wish I could just leave behind and forget, but lately before this whole mall and Silent Hill situation. My past was all I could dream about," she said as she moved into what was the girls room.

"How is it this place was able to stay open like that?" Mikey asked Jack as they acended the stairs. It seemed like any bureau, from the police station to the salvation army, would be in line to shut these pricks down. But no, until the day it was all burned to the ground, the place was still going strong.
They neared the door of the room, and something could be heard. Mikey thought it was his imagination. The vibe he was getting off of this place mixed with his own mind working together to play a trick on him. "You hear that?" He asked. Jack heard it as well.
They opened the door and took a look inside, seeing something neither of them expected. Sitting at a small table in the middle of the room was a small girl, doing what seemed like coloring.

Jack stood in the door way for a bit looking at the little girl. It was really odd that a child would still be in this place, but then again she didn't expect this place to be real. To them it was as real as could be, and she only speculated what reality was really like. Shaking her head after slightly confusing herself she slowly stepped into the room. "Sorry to barge in," she said lightly as she moved over to the table carefully. Not really knowing if she would end up spooking the girl and causing her to run. She looked around the room before stopping at the table. She looked down at the little girl, and studied her carefully before speaking again. "What are you doing in a place like this?" she asked lightly.

"I'm here to see someone." The little girl said quietly. She looked up at Jack with a smile on her face before going back to her picture and said "I'm Alessa. Whats your name?" As she asked, she continued the shading on what looked like a house. Very detailed and almost life like, she finished it and then started writing below the picture.

"Hello, Alessa," she said with a slight smiled as she looked down at the picture. "I'm Jack, and this is my friend Mikey," she said as she waved behind her. "That's a lovely drawing, but can I ask you something," she said as she studied the picture a bit. It was quite a drawing especially for someone her age. She smiled lightly as she looked at Alessa. "Why would someone ask you to wait for them in a place like this? It isn't very safe to be alone," she said as she looked back to Mikey and then back to Alessa.

Alessa smiled at Jack as she finished her picture and folded it up. She stuck it in her pocket and stood up from her place at the table. "She didnt tell me to meet her here, I came to meet her here. But I have to go now." She said as she started to go toward the door. "I hope I'll see you again." She said before she started running. Through the room, past Mikey before he even knew what was going on, and down the stairs. Before they could get to the door to see where she was going, she was gone.
"What is it with everyone just dissapearing on us?" Mikey asked as he looked around for some sign of the girl. It was then that Jack noticed a folded peice of paper on the ground. It was the same drawing the little girl had drawn. Now that she got a good look at it thought, she saw it didnt look like a house at all. It was more of a...a what? The writing at the bottom of the paper helped.
"Silent Hill Clinic" it said.
