Jack grimaced as she watched the men move in as a flack. Now they were getting smart and attacking at one time. Doing it that way they would surly take them down. Jack bit her lip as she thought for a moment and then grinned devilishly. She had known that lately when ever she used her powers she was starting to enjoy it. In a way she was starting to enjoy the destructive nature of her power. As the miners moved toward them Jack moved toward Mikey. Her hand waving in the air as if she was ruining it along a bed of flowers. As one hand gripped Mikey her other hand followed her around as she moved in a complete circle. The cold seemed to follow as it moved upward into what looked like a blue spiral with fierce wind, and yet Mikey and Jack were untouched. The miners on the other hand were not so lucky, and in turn were picked up in the whirl wind and throwing many and taring several apart. As the whirl wind ended Jack was on one knee panting heavily, but her eyes were bright ocean blue, but held a dark and cold feel to them.

Mikey, expecting something bad to happen, had ducked down when Jack started her spell or whatever it was, ending up next to Jack on the ground. Most of the miners had been wiped out, some survived and were now seriously doubting the probability of them winning the fight. It was plain to see that they wanted to tuck tail and run, but something was stopping them.
Or rather someone. A woman in a blue dress, who had her eyes set on Jack. She was down the block, on the roof of a building, taking in the sight of her followers dropping like flies. It was... dishearting to say the least. She started a chant, knowing the rest wouldnt survive if she didnt help them, and the ground started to rumble.
Jack and Mikey felt the rumbleing, recognizing it as very close to them. The concrete started to split in places, and a creature started to emerge. It looked very much like a huge lizard, its open mouth producing puffs of smoke when it breathed. It looked at Jack and Mikey, opened its mouth wider, and breathed forth a huge line of fire.

Jack panted heavily as she looked at the large lizard. She sighed heavily as she shook her head. Closing her eyes as she placed her hand against the ground. An in turn it shook violently. An just as the lizard started to breath fire a large wall shot from the ground blocking it from them. Jack grinned slightly as she kept going as the ground around the lizard started to form into a box entrapping the creature inside and the roof ceiling shut. Jack looked to Mikey with tired eyes as she climbed to her feet shaking as she did. Her step was evidently unstable. She looked at Mikey as she panted slightly. "G- got anything up your sleeve?" she asked heavily as she looked at the box as it shook violently. Jack stumbled slightly as she looked around them for something else. "I keep going your going to be carrying me out of here," she spoke under her breath as she steadied herself waiting for the creature.

"That sounds preferable about now..." Mikey said, watching the makeshift cage start cracking. "I got jack." He told her, moving to the side of the cage to get out of the line of fire, literally. He had an idea, but he wasnt sure how well it would work out. If it worked, he would probably live and regret it. If now... well, he wouldnt have much to regret.
"I think I have an idea." He said, tucking the pistol in his hand into a pocket, having no holster for it. He then pulled the shotgun off his back and moved to the back of the cage. He waited for the thing to burst out, crumbleing the asphault onto it in chunks instead of blowing it out in all directions like Mikey thought would have happened. He waited for the thing to start walking foreward, leaving the rocks on the ground in piles. Mikey moved foreward with it and onto the pile, getting a height advantage.
He aimed the shotgun and fired, hitting the armored skin of the lizard and denting it in. He fired again, this time making a small hole in its skin. It thrashed its tail at Mikey, but he was already on the move. He dropped the larger gun and pulled out the pistol again, jumping as far as he could and landing on the creatures back. He put the weapon to the hole and fired as many times as he could before the magazine went dry. But, by then, the monster had greatly slowed its thrashing.
Mikey let go of the pistol, letting it be flung away, useless now that he had no more ammo for it, and reached down. He couldnt get to another gun, but he could reach the knife on his side. Grabbing it, he stuck the tip to the hole and jammed it in as hard as he could. It buried to the hilt, and with another slap from Mikeys hand, it went in to the bottom of the handle. The monster stopped moving suddenly, flopping to the ground and seemingly dying with no other fight.
Mikey pushed himself up, sitting on the creatures back like he was riding a horse, and looked down.
"I'll be damned, it worked..." He said to himself, and then looking over to Jack.

Jack smiled lightly as she looked up at Mikey, but still she was worried. This lizard had come from some powerful magic. Not even she could complete the spell without passing out. She was starting to realize that she was way out of her league in this place. Jack flinched as she felt a sudden pain course threw her body. Then again and again until she cried out and fell to her knees gripping her shoulders as she leaned forward. She nearly screamed out at one point as her hands gripped her arms to the point her knuckles were turning white. She panted heavily, before she laid down . . . more so fell down . . . on her side. Laying there Jack closed her eyes and did her best to try to forget the pain. She used to much of her power and to fast at that. Though she found it a bit shocking that it wasn't taking it's affect until the fight was completely over with. After a moment the pain subsided enough for her to open her eyes again. Though she was still painting heavily.

Mikey jumped off the lizard and landed as best he could, stumbleing a bit but all the while making his way over to Jack. He picked up his shotgun on the way, slinging it back over his shoulder as he kneelt beside Jack and checked to see if she was hurt. He couldnt see a wound, but it was obvious that something was wrong.
And her condition wasnt the only problem. In what seemed like the cloning machine theory put in action, ten or more of the miners came out of hiding places and started to slowly move in on them. Mikey stayed in his position near Jack, pulled out the .45 in his holster, and started to fire. By the time he emptied the magazine, they were too close to reload. He instead dropped the pistol and pulled out one of his knives, catching one of the men by surprise before they swarmed on him, knocking him out with their crude clubs. They did the same to Jack, while she was helpless to stop anything.
They would awake several hours later, in what looked like a dark basement, in a large prison cell.

Jack slowly opened her eyes. Her hand drifting to her head as she flinched slightly. "Gee what a time to hit a person," she mumbled under her breath. Pushing herself to her feet she staggered greatly, and just fell up against the bars. Gripping the bars as tightly as she could, she still felt drained. Looking around the room she found Mikey still passed out in the cell next to her. Frowining slightly as she shook her head, her actions pratically putting her out on the ground again. She was to tired and to weak to be pulling even the minor things off at the moment. Closing her eyes, she just rested her head up against the bar. "I'm going to find their cloning machine and shove it up someone's ass," she groaned as she sat there.

"You aint kiddin'..." Mikey said, still laying on the ground. He had a headache from hell, and he was content to just lay here and do nothing. But, he knew they couldnt do that. They had to break out of here. Again...
He sat up and took a look around, seeing he had Jack were in the same cell this time around. Weird, but hey. This could make it easier to break out this time around. He hoped so. He started to pat his pockets, looking for anything he could use to try and open the lock. This time around, however, his pockets were empty. They had taken his vest as well, with all the ammo he had. Last time, they had just taken his guns and knives.
"Great... apparantly the clones get smarter as they go..." He said, looking at Jack. "You got anything?" He asked.

"What?" Jack asked as she opened her eyes and looked up at Mikey. She had drifted for a moment, and it took her a few to realize what he was saying. "Oh, no. I'm tapped out right now as for my powers. Not to mention i probably wouldn't be able to use them. I'm still to exhausted to take those bars down the hard way as well," she said as she shook her head. She shifted so her back was to the bars, and slowly brought her knees up to her chest so she could wrap her arms around them. "That was some painful feedback out there, and I can't quite understand why it waited till after I was done using my powers." She closed her eyes and sighed a bit as she rested her head against the bars again. "I'm sorry for dragging you into this mess, and about everything. Though give me a bit longer, and I'll be back on my feet. Then well see what I can do," she explained as she looked at him.

"Well, not sure we can do much more than wait then." Mikey said, looking at the door. It looked well put together. Not like the ones they had been in before. This one looked well maintained, like they used it often and took care of it. Mikey didnt doubt that was the case with these freaks.
He was just worried that if they waited too long someone would come down to keep an eye on them. Had to figure if they were smart enough to take anything from them they were smart enough to send someone down to check on them every once in a while.
A sound at the top of the steps confirmed his fears. A door creaked on rusty hinges and heavy footfalls were heard on the stone steps. A man of about six feet and 300 or more pounds came down, dressed in what looked like a suit one would go to church in. He looked at them in the cages for a moment before putting on a lewd look and sitting on a chair accross from the cell, opening a book and starting to read. Mikey just looked at Jack and shrugged his shoulders, asking her wordlessly what they should do.

Jack looked up at the man and glared at him as he read his book. "Creep," she mumbled under her breath. She shook her head a bit as she used the bars to help her stand. Streching slightly as she stood there. Her muscles felt tired, but she was starting to feel herself again. She walked over to Mikey and looked at him before looking at the guy. If they knew where their weapons were it would be easer, but something was telling her that they needed to get out of this place. Getting out of the cell would be priority, then maybe they could take a few minutes to scrounge around this place to see if they could find their things. At first she looked around searching the ground and then searching the ceiling. Making sure that there were no symbols to stop her from using her magic.
She looked back at Mikey before looking at the man who seemed to be only intrested in his book. She sighed a bit before she held her hand out to the side. A faint wind picked up in the room as her eyes shifted to an icy blue color. As the wind grew stronger that was when she seen it. The ground and the ceiling both grew a bright red. Jack's eyes grew wide, before she screamed out. Her hands gripping her head before collapsing to the ground. She laid there screaming for a bit before the glow went away, and she finally laid silent.
"Crude," she spoke lightly as she closed her eyes. It had seemed that the pentagrams had been built under the floor, and above the floor. It was an effective way to keep it out of site, but only certain ones would work like that, and they were the ones that usually hurt the worse.

The man reading his book looked up when he saw the red lights enter the room, smirking when he saw Jack end up on the ground in pain. He stood up, set his book down, and started walking toward the cell. He put his hands on the bars and leaned in close, looking down at Jack.
"Did you really think we would let you in here without protection?" He said, leering at her with a wide smile on his face. "Did you think we were that stupid?" He asked sarcastically. He started laughing, looking away for a moment for seemingly no reason.
Mikey used this opportunity to try something he had been thinking of doing for some time now. While the man had been watching Jack on the ground, he had slowly been moving toward the bars, in the end leaning on them to the mans side. When the cultist looked away, he executed the plan.
In a quickness he himself hadnt known he posessed, he reached through the bars and grabbed the thick collar of the mans jacket. With all of his weight, he yanked back, slamming the mans forehead into the metal bars. He pushed foreward, the man started to go wak at the knees, and then yanked back again. This time, the mans head landed between the bars, impacting both his temples on the unyeilding steel. He crumbled to the ground in a heap when Mikey let go.
"Could have fooled me." Mikey said with a smirk, refering to the comment of the people not being stupid. He knelt down to drag the man closer to the bars, searching his pockets for a key. Sure enough, he found it and unlocked the door.

Jack flinched as she climbed to her hands and knees. She panted slightly as she looked up at Mikey. "Well at least someone was on top of it," she said before trying to climb to her feet only to end up on the ground. She rolled onto her back as she heard him open the door. "I need a vacation away from this vacation," she mumbled before closing her eyes. Her body felt tired and drained far more than usual, and she knew that it had come from the type of pentagram that was used. She relaxed for a moment, before rolling onto her side once more. Climbing to a kneeling position. She closed her eyes and gathered herself. Once more she climbed to her feet, and staggered to the bars. Using them to hold herself up so she didn't end up on the ground again. "I don't know how much help I'll be right now. I don't exactly know what I can do with my powers, and I feel really really . . . how can I put this," she paused for a moment before looking at him with a grin. "I feel like hell at the moment," she said as she pushed off the bars. She staggered a bit behind him, but still managed to keep up.

"Trust me, you aint the only one." Mikey said. He probably wasnt feeling anything like what she was feeling, but he could, as she pointed out, use a vacation. The kind where you spent a week sleeping with breaks to grab something to eat, promptly followed by more sleeping. Boy, that sounded good right now. His pull out couch at home, calling in sick for a week, and spending the entire time in bed, not a care in the world.
But, it wasnt going to happen. At least, not for a while. But it was high on his list of things to do when he got out of here.
"Ok, first order of bussiness. We need to get our stuff back." He said. He was mainly talking about their guns, but he could sure use a cigarette right now. "If you were an under educated, over estimated religious fanatic with personality disorders that make Hannibal Lector look like a nice guy, where would you hide a stash of guns?" He asked rethorically, looking through cabinets and chests and desk drawer. The basement, in addition to the cell, was crowded with any peice of furniture you could think of that had a drawer. It seemed less like a clever way to hide something and more like a way to just **** someone off who was looking for said thing.

Jack shrugged her shoulders as she went behind Mikey and started to help him look for things. Though finding it hard to move around, and occasonally stopping to take long breaths. She closed her eyes for a moment, and tried her best to gather herself. "When we get out of here. i think seeking safty and then taking a break. Neither of us can keep on going like this," she pointed out as she opened a clausent and everything pratically fell on her head. Cursing slightly as she pushed the junk off of her, and once more climbed to her feet. She sighed a bit before her eyes caught a glimor in the corner of the room. "Hey over here," she whispered as she edged threw the junk in the room. She picked up Mikey's gun and looked it over. "Think this belongs to us," she said with a grin.
