(Tabitha wanders in) Tabitha saw the scene unfold before her very eyes. A man running from what seemed to be an obese zombie. Tabby watched as he ran towards a door and slammed it shut. " A survivor?" Tabitha muttered. Tabby ran up the stairs which were drenched in slippery blood. She kept her grip onto the railing next to her. Tabby clenched her nambu pistol and pointed it towards the door labeled 'EMPLOYEES ONLY'. She was certain this was the door. Inside she heard moaning and a sound of bashing. "I hope hes okay.." Tab said to herself. She kicked open the door in an enthusiastic manor and shouted " Come and get me, b*tches!" . The first of the two zombies was a slim woman, half fallen apart. The second however was a bulky obese man, praticley not damaged but still a zombie. Tab aimed her gun at the thin woman's leg but missed by an inch or so. Tab tried again and this time tried to get both zombies off gaurd and unblanced.
"Got ya" Tab shouted in joy. Both zombies fell back and tumbled against a closet. With a clear aim Tab shot the woman in the neck , her head fell along with the neck. " One down two to go. " The fat man lunged forward regaining his balance and grabbed Tabby. " Help please! "

The two zombies rail against the door only for a matter of seconds.
Jack is doing his best to support the door with his own weight when he hears a young woman shout. The noise must have taken the attention of the besiegers, because the pounding stops.
This is followed immediately by the sound of gunfire. Jack allows himself to hope that he might survive this after all- someone is saving him!
His rescuer however, let's out a scream. "Help please!"
He charges from the closet, stumbling momentarily on a head somebody left lying about. A young woman is grappling with the obese zombie. He takes aim and fires while walking forward. Three times he shoots with little effect- the creature is almost indifferent to the fist-sized holes being punched through its massive frame. The fourth time he stops, and takes a controlled shot at the head.
He misses his mark, sort of. The zombie is hit in the neck, and its limbs go limp. It lays still, but the eyes and jaw move ineffectually. He momentarily considers putting it out of its misery, but realizes that he's used a quarter of his ammunition in the last three minutes and decides to save the round.
As his shaky hands begin to reload his weapon, he looks at the girl who saved him. With too loud a laugh and a wavering voice he says: "I'm Jack. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

" The names Tabitha, you can call me Tab or Tabby if you like " Tab smiled and was so pleased he was alright and not harmed. " You okay? You seam pretty exausted! " Tabby said with a smile. " We can't stay here too long its not safe! Why don't we take a look around and go resource hunting! I once found 3 ammunition clips in one shop! " Tabby grabbed Jack's hand and pulls him out into the light. " Lets see, you seem fit enough and your in good shape, how about joining me? I make it sound like a game but it would be nice to have someone to 'survive with' .." Tabby giggled and pointed towards the other side of the mall. " I think there is a hunting shop around here! "

Tabitha wants to go shopping.
Frankly, when she started talking about "resource hunting" Jack was planning on politely refusing. He wants to find a nice room with concrete walls, no windows, and one door and barricade himself inside for the night.
At the words "hunting shop" he realized how foolish that thought was. He doesn't know where he'll find safety. He did know that a rather wide variety of murderous creatures was wandering about, and likely to run into him as he searched. He would need to keep himself armed as well as possible, and he couldn’t just walk away from the chance at more ammunition, or another gun. A backpack or duffel bag was less important but would definitely prove useful if he finds one.
His new companion did make the situation sound “like a game” as she put it, but the fact that she’d saved him a moment prior kept him from feeling too concerned about her survival skills. To contrary, he felt much safer with her and her odd looking gun around. Taking a moment before speaking again to shake the fear from his voice, Jack says: “the hunting shop sounds like a fantastic idea. Let’s go.”
Jack begins moving in the direction in which Tabitha had pointed.

" Hmm, you look concerned.. Let me guess is it the fact i act like a little girl and am really cute? Well for your information look at the date its been almost a year since the 2012 out break I mean come on! Thats something right?" Tabitha sighed and again grabbed Jack's hand and pulled him off to the other side of the mall. " You keep staring at my gun.." Tabitha stated. " Its a Nambu Pistol, my grandfather gave it to me before he passed, lucky it uses normal ammunition. Problem is I can't add and light or stuff to it but it's my lucky gun. Killed my first zombie with it " Tabitha smiled and carried on walking. " Heres the place ! " Tabitha paused and clenched her gun. She pointed it at the door and kicked it open. " All clear" Tabitha shouted. Saying that made her feel like a soldier. " This shop's been looted many times but there is always the odd ammo and weapon laying around.
" You see! " Tabitha kneeled down and picked up a small black LED torch and clicked it on. " It works" tabitha stated in joy.

Jack’s a bit disappointed. He had let himself hope he may be about to stumble upon a virtual armory; the gun racks before him were far from that. Leaving the weapons for a moment, he goes to the camping supply section where he obtains a hatchet and a camouflaged backpack, into which he stuffs the shopping bags of previously looted supplies. On the floor, next to an almost entirely devoured fellow, is a bolt-action rifle. It is marked to indicate that it is a Remington 700, and chambered for .223 caliber bullets. It is out of bullets- likely a contributing factor in its owners death. Among the man’s remains is a box of appropriate ammunition, but only seven rounds are left. After filling the chamber and magazine with six of the bullets, Jack places the seventh in his pocket.
“Well, this is good as anything else in here. Better than most. I’ve never fired a rifle before, but how hard could it be?”

" Don't wave that thing in my face! " Tabitha exclaimed I think this is all we are gonna find here. Tabitha grabbed Jack's hand again and pulled him back into the light. " Follow me! " Tabitha said in a joyful voice. Tabitha spun around and slipped on a red substance and fell flat on her face. " Yuck! Blood! " Tabitha shouted. She tried to get up but fell backwards and fell against a near by window, it shattered and Tabitha fell right through. She instantly hit something VERY hard. Tabitha's eyes were blurred and she found herself clinging onto a pole. When her eyesight was back she found that she'd fallen quite a way down and onto the sacffolding, below was a 60 foot drop.

Tabitha slips in blood and falls against a window. Breaking through it, she tumbles down.
Jack peers over the ledge, expecting the worst.
She has landed on the scaffolding, sparing her the larger drop. Still, she was out of reach and stood the risk of slipping off.
“Hang on” Jack calls down “I’ll be right back.”
Jack returns to the camping supplies to where he retrieves a spool of paracord. He runs back to the window, skidding in the blood and nearly falling himself. Gripping one end of the cord, he tosses the spool by Tabitha. It clatters to the floor, the cord unwinding behind it. The cord is now held at one end by Jack, resting against the steel beam that Tabitha clings to and extends almost to the floor below.
“Can you grab it?”

Tyler Farmer jammed the Beretta into his pocket, observing the cuts on his arms. He had just had a run-in with some zombies, and he was a bit cut up. Not from the zombies of course, he had dove out of the way of one who had lunged at him, and he had had the sleeves of his thick hoodie rolled up. Now he basically had to, as rolling them back would probably hurt.
"Can you grab it?"
Tyler stopped and looked around, searching for the orgin of the noise. He was around the back of an old shopping center in Raccoon City, and upon looking up, he saw a man leaning out of a window with some kind of cord in his hand. Following the cord, he saw the crumpled heap of a young woman on a scaffolding. 'What the hell is going on here?' thought Farmer as he moved over to get a closer look.
After a bit of observation, he decided he needed to do something. There was a dumpster underneath the scaffolding, and it would be a smelly landing, but it would be better than cement if she fell. Tyler ran over and lifted the dual lids of the dumpster, propping them up against the wall. He glanced around the alley and found a tarp, pulling the water-laden fabric towards the dumpster, managing to get it partially into the dumpster.
Tyler didn't really think she would fall, but if she did she would probably live. 'and that is about the least I can do.'

Tabitha tried to grab the blue rope. She gave it a tight grab and pulled herself up. All of a sudden her hands slipped, " I can't do it my hands are covered in blood. " Tabitha tried once more. She reached a quarted of the way and fell back. She tumbled back onto the scaffolding and grabbed a metal pole. Again her hands slipped and she fell once more. This was the end. She was falling. Then she landed. But she was alive, she couldn't believe it.

As Tabitha tries to reach the cord, somebody below is pushing a dumpster.
Tabitha grips the rope and begins to shift her weight to it while the figure below places a tarp in the dumpster.
Tabitha lifts herself from the metal beam. She begins to slip.
"I can't do it my hands are covered in blood."
She loses her grip altogether and tries to grip the scaffolding a second time, but instead plummets down and lands in the dumpster below. Hopefully it's softened the fall enough to prevent any major injury,
"Are you okay?" Jack calls down.
His shout disturbs something, and he hears a moaning come from somewhere out of sight. Staying still seems like a bad idea, so Jack locates a stairwell and hurries down to meet the two downstairs.
"Thanks" he says to the newcomer. "Is she alright?"
He looks into the dumpster.
_______________________________________________ OOC: I think we ought to inject a quest or general objective into here. Maybe Tyler's looking for someone or maybe we're being stalked by a BOW. Maybe there's a rumor that Kenya's beautiful this time of year and we all want to make the trip. I don't know, but if you guys think that having a "mission" might be helpful I'll think of something.
Of course, pitch an idea if you've got one.

(OOC: I think having something chase us would be the best bet. But it'll have to be epic lol. Think we could get one of the mods to send a Tyrant after us?)
Tyler smiled cheerfully and shrugged. "Well you know, just doing my part to save us all from an untimely death not caused by zombies." He started, holding out his hand to the man. Tyler had almost crapped himself when he heard something coming down the stairs, and once the door burst open he was ready to dip, but he had seen another survivor and relaxed. "The name's Tyler Farmer. She should be alright, but it's a tarp-covered dumpster. She'll be a bit banged up."
Farmer peered over into the dumpster, taking in the woman inside before kicking the inside. "Oly Oly Oxen Free, you're not dead." Tyler was glad to come across people who wouldn't try and eat him. He had been dodging zombies and BOWs ever since he walked into Raccoon City. But he had wanted to see ground zero of where his life--everyone's life-- had been ruined.
Besides random cops and MPs at certain points of the city, it was crawling with unlife. A couple times Tyler had thought something had been following, but he had lost it everytime, or at least he hoped he had. He felt safer with another pair of survivors to watch his back.

Tabitha was dizzy and awoke from what seemed death. " s*** what happened? " Tabitha said in a low voice. She looked up from where she fell. Then her sences came back and the putrid smell wofted up her nose. " YUCK!" Tabitha yelled disgust. There was a load roar which made the floor beneath their feet tremble. " What the HELL WAS THAT?!?" Tabitha yelled. Tabitha ran as fast as she could the others followed. She didn't look back only forwards. Whatever it was it was gonna find them , fast. Tabitha ran around the edge of the bulding and something caught onto her leg and she rolled onto the floor and turned around. Infront of them was a 15 foot tall zombie with one massive eye in the center of its chest. " He looks really ****ed" Tabitha said in a clam voice. " Lets just back away slowly.." . " The eye , aim for the eye!" Tabitha shouted. The zombie grabbed Tabitha my the hip and slowly squeezed , was this the end?

Jack raises his rifle and fires.
With a crack, the shot launches into the bulbous eye of the attacker. It lets out a shriek and flinches sharply, the motion sending Tabitha tumbling roughly away.
It turns to face Jack, the eye oozing somewhat from its new puncture wound but the pupil dances back and forth momentarily and focuses on him. It's still functional. Obviously this thing's eye was vulnerable to gunfire, but would repeated shots kill it, or simply make it angrier? Jack doubted that either of his weapons were fit to challenge such a large creature.
"Um, guys? Maybe we should run."

"Oh s***" Tyler said, coming around the corner and seeing the behemoth in front of him. His mind raced, trying to figure out what to do. He had heard the crack of the rifle in the man's hand, who was never introduced, and saw the thing drop the woman who had fled, panic striken from where she had landed in the dumpster.
Farmer had never faced something like this before. He didn't know what it was capable of. They probably didn't stand much of a chance inside, so Tyler figured he'd yell what he was thinking. "Get back inside!" he yelled, turning sideways toward the door and motioning with his arm towards where the man had exited the store. "Come on, we need to get out of here!"
Tyler ran up to the staircase, the door still hanging ajar. There stood the deteriorating remains of a very tall, skinny man. He lifted his arms and grabbed him, bringing his face towards Tyler's neck. Farmer abruptly shot his arms up, breaking the zombies grip. Tyler then brought both hands together like a hammer and brought them down on the side of it's face, knocking it off balance annd away from him. Tyler glanced back at the giant thing and his newfound friends before grabbing the bat off his back and bringing it down hard on the zombies skull. There was a crunch, and Tyler looked away as the zombie fell.
Farmer slipped the bat back into the custom holster on his back and ran up the steps, hoping the others would follow him.
