A very, very white room. The far side of the wall opposite the entrance is covered in mahogany wood with a large center square punched out of the middle of it to frame six motivational posters lined up in three columns of two. In front of those posters sits a 7 and a half foot long, mahogany desk with a few chairs strewn about. One chair is actually bolted down behind the counter, jet black and full of leather and ripped cloth. Two overturned plant pots lay on the counter and a pile of papers seems to be fluttered about the long room. There are no windows within this room, which isn't all that strange. A white leather couch sits on the right side of the room, up against the wall. Two ottomans lay in front of it sideways and two chairs are set on either side of the couch to allow for more comfortable sitting for their previous customers. The computer has been looted from the desk, but shattered glass made a trail out the front door making it obvious something broke on the way out. There is a long hallway to the right of the desk that leads into the Director's Office as well as a door on the right of the Directors Office which is labeled "Stairway 2F".

)(Alex has entered from 'Construction Site')(
Jet remained outside and out of sight from anyone who felt obligated to steal her, not that there would be this many people close to the flamethrowing going on around the city centre but it was better safe than sorry. It appeared the labs had been left relatively alone, from the outside that is. All of the windows along the front entrance had been left untouched except for one which was busted straight open to the left of the main entrance. The doors themselves were glass, still functioned properly; the front gates must have done a good job to keep people out, and most scavengers musn't have felt the need to smash things much opposite to what Alex had witnessed from her time here.
Lights were dim. The lobby had paper, glass and general garbage strewn about the place there; there was no escaping that, "Okay, start searching. We're sticking together too, no splitting up to speed things up bullsh*t, it'll be faster if we all cover one room at a time and cross each lot off," Alex walked around the reception desk, a little disgruntled by the fact the computer was missing; there was probably another one somewhere in the building which was connected to the server but that could wait, "Right now, this is one of those situations where even if you think the question sounds stupid you'll have to call it. Anything that sticks out, query it," she continued, pulling open draws and flicking through piles of paper.
Her search stopped suddenly as her head popped up from behind the desk like a meerkat, Alex eyed the blinking red light on the reception phone and bit her lip. She pushed the button and straight away the messages began to file through. A computerized female voice could be heard speaking before and after each one:
First message "Hey Leyton, it's Debbie here from the Illinois Aerosys branch. I was just ringing ahead to find out when you'd be faxing those documents through that Donovan wants, apparently he has Tricell breathing down his back on some issue and he's been really on edge lately so it'd be great if we could ease the tension in the office and get this massive weight off our backs. Thanks in advance," Dated 10:44am, January, 12th, 2012
Next message "Hi, it's just Jacob ringing again to find out when I'd be getting the final blueprints on those 787 wings. It's been a week now guys, c'mon, this is getting a little ridiculous," Dated 05:26pm, January, 24th, 2012
Next message "Scott here. Have you guys seen Leyton at all lately? He didn't make it to Blackjack last night and I haven't heard from him in the past couple'a days so I'm getting a little worried, just wondering whether he's still gettin' to work or not," Dated 12:11pm, January, 25th, 2012
Next message "Peter Hahn from Tricell here responding on that carbon sample request one of your employees submitted. The transport it was being shipped in crashed unfortunately so it'll take a little longer until you'll receive them," Dated 02:24pm, January, 25th, 2012
Next message "I'm calling for a quote on a Cessna engine design, if anyone could forward through to the Stoneville airstrip that'd be great," Dated 09:43am, January, 26th, 2012
Next message "Yeah, I still haven't heard from Leyton or anyone there at work. I've got an RDO tomorrow from the factory so I'm gonna pop in and see what's happening about the place, my cell number's down somewhere incase anyone wants to contact me," Dated 01:03pm, January, 26th, 2012
Next message "I don't care if Donovan thinks it's a good idea! I just want the money to be put through so we can seal our assets god damn it! Fix this sh*t up now or you can clear out your desk at the end of the week!" Dated 08:56pm, January, 29th, 2012
Next message "It's Leyton, I have to be brief. Tricell ain't what they appear to be, their shippings... sh*t, I think someone's in the hou- *click*" Dated 02:00am, January, 31st, 2012
Next message "Hey! Chinese was great last night Trish, me and the wife look forwards to our next dine out!" Dated 10:13am, Febuary, 2nd, 2012
Next message "Debbie here. I don't know what's going on over at the labs anymore but none of you are responding to my calls and the director never seems to be online at the server. I'm pulling the plug on the Tricell merger due to our budget. Sorry," Dated 11:09am, Febuary, 8th, 2012
Next message "Anyone who's still at the labs need to get out, now! If you haven't seen the news already then I'm sure the noise outside'll get your attention. Drive as fast as possible out of Raccoon... oh f-" Dated 08:19am, Febuary, 10th, 2012
End of messages
Alex compiled a list of names and stored them to memory, the whole time she was listening she searched through each draw. The fact Tricell had been mentioned several times raised her suspicion on the laboratories. She'd do a search on each of the names after the tension freed up; the Leyton fellow sounded interesting, like he had discovered something, if he was still alive it was a lead Alex could go on for the sake of uncovering anything illegal Tricell had been doing. Why did they want to merge with a flight engineering company? Too many questions popped up in Alex's head and she pushed them away to focus on her search more.

Rusty is entering from the construction site.
Alex told everyone to stay together. Rusty thought that was a good idea. As the messages played, Rusty searched half-heartedly. He was more focused on the messages than searching. He wondered what happened to Leyton. At any rate, after the messages stopped, he started paying attention to what he was looking at. Some papers were strewn about, and one single name popped out on a page. It was his dad's name. He quickly read through the page. It read:
Gradyshaw is doing great at researching the Tyrant. He's had a few duds, but now he seems to be making some progress. Before things get out of hand, I'm going to send him to a Tricell laboratory in Europe. He'll be coming back in a few months, after he finishes his Tyrant project. I think you'll like what you see, let me know how his progress is.
-Leyton
Leyton was that one guy's name... Perhaps he'd gone with his father to Europe, since he mentioned something about Tricell's shippings. When he referred to the house, it was probably the house he was staying at in Europe. Rusty decided to show his team what he found. " Hey Alex, Al, could you both come over a sec? Look at this... It has my dad's name in it... Perhaps some of his previous research is still here? 'Cuz, it looks like no one from outside has even been here before. Also, if there is some research left, perhaps we could find weaknesses to certain B.O.Ws. Although, I don't know who it was going to be sent to. That would've been more helpful in finding clues." Rusty said all this as he passed the paper on to Alex, who then passed it to Al. Rusty waited to see if it was somewhat significant. It was to him, after all

)(Algonquin Motowa has entered from the Construction Site)(
Al parked the Trans Am in front of the building, out of sight from a cursory glance, and locked up as well. He planned on hanging on to it, he had pratically fallen in love with the car, granted, if it was the car or a human life, the car would go bye bye, but he would try to keep it in his possession, as sanely as possible. So he walked in, heard what Alex had to say, and nodded. He wasn't going to wander off by himself and get grabbed by who knows what was lurking in this place, even if it did look untouched at the moment. So he walked to an edge where no one was searching, and began sifting through the various items on the desks. Mostly attendance reports, and he found a shipping manifest, what they brought in and what the planned on sending out. Rusty called them over, so he walked over, glancing at the letter, and whistled softly. He heard of a Tyrant once, some ex Umbrella guy he ran into had said a bit about them before getting grabbed by some zombies. Tried to help him, but all he could do was put a round in his head, it was out of mercy, but still murder. He spoke quietly, as if the walls were listening.
"Tyrant? Seems your dad isn't as clean as we thought. Alex, I found some shipping manifests, maybe something worthwhile is on it?"

"I don't believe my dad meant any harm Al. I think he thought that the whole thing wouldn't even work out. I don't even think it worked out. But, there's a possibility. Ever heard of what a Tyrant was before?" Rusty looked at his teammates' faces. They apparently didn't know much about what it actually was. Rusty went to search for more clues, he mostly tried to look for info about A-2501, but also for more about his dad. He found a filing cabinet in the corner and looked inside. A horrible smell drifted from the cabinet, making Rusty gag. He looked inside and saw bloodstained clothes. He had figured there would be more B.O.W.s here. There wasn't any blood on the white walls of the room though. He quickly shut the drawer, hoping the smell would fade, but it didn't fade completely. He opened another drawer of the filing cabinet. There was a file with a map of the lab. He grabbed it and opened the bottom drawer. It had nothing really important inside. He looked at the map more closely after shutting the drawer. He saw a room labeled Dr. Gradyshaw: Biological Development/ Medic
Rusty couldn't find any rooms that labeled A-2501, until a final glance at the top right corner made him take a closer look. There was a room labeled Numbers A-2500 to A-2600 . He immediately showed Alex and asked her, " Is this what you were looking for, Alex?"

Alex slammed the draw shut and stood up, "I'm not a B.O.W. hunter," she replied, walking over to Rusty and snatching the memo from Rusty, "Time spent researching a weakness doesn't help me there," she finished and began reading the message, her leather covered fingers holding the paper taught infront of her and held to what light spilled in through a nearby window, "An interesting find no doubt..." Alex commented after she finished reading, looking about the floor around her and Rusty, "...Perhaps your luck of finding a lead will transfer over to me," Alex handed the memo over to Al while dreaming, spotting a dark rectangular ovject on the floor. She moved over and crouched down, lifting the lid up. Inside was foam resting for a sidearm, now missing, and enough space for several documents which Rusty had already gone through on the floor. Alex tipped the case up so she could see the handle and read the name on the metal plating, "Anthony Donovan,"
Alex let the case drop to the ground and stood up, crossing over to Al's location and taking the manifests from him, folding each piece of paper over the clipboard while breazing through them. It was regular cargo, came in every month and was driven straight to the laboratory. The last couple of months before the outbreak had been stricken from record though, the dating of the manifest was well after those times, "Well..." Alex flicked back and forth incase she missed something, "It's what's not on here that I'm interested in. Then again it could be human error or printer malfunction, imported cargo over the last two months aren't listed," Alex checked the statement attached, "Manufacturers reside in Tokyo, Canada and Australasia," she placed the manifest back down and looked around the registration office.
Alex approached a cabinet at the door, tugging each tray open but getting stuck on one. It was locked. She wedged her fingers between the opening either side, placing a foot up against the entire body of the draw and starting pulling, "Chances are, if yer dad's got anything on Tyrants then he's involved with the development of Bio-Organic Weapons. That ties up Tricell and Aerosys for good..." she spoke through her teeth, the metal tray creaking, "But what for I can't understand. Flying Tyrants...uh, I don't know," the rail lock snapped and Alex flew back, tray gliding over her head and scattering across the room; she made the annoying realization that there had been nothing contained inside in the first place. She cursed, rubbing her fingers, "Unless he was given a nice pay check, or being threatened to work, then Al's got the right idea,"
Alex stretched, "And above that, it sounds as if it was his own project... although, not entirely his creation. The memo mentions research, possibly meaning they located a Tyrant but don't know all the ins and outs. The transport to Europe probably meant things were unstable here at the labs, poor conditions. But there was a set deadline, for some phase at least. Two months..." Alex scratched her chin, thinking over the memo's contents carefully again, "I've noticed this Leyton guy plays on words, though. At first he mentions 'Gradyshaw seems to be making some progress' before finishing the message with 'let me know how his progress is'," Alex shook her head at the cryptic nonsense, "Unless..." she strided back over to the suitcase and looked at the name 'Anthony Donovan' on the plate again , "Why were you on the wrong side of the world when you receiving this message?" she asked rhetorically, like speaking to a dead man... probably not too far from the truth either. He could have been a courier, but Alex doubted that.
A map was pushed into her view, Rusty pointed at the labeling on the rooms. Alex took a hold of one side and had a closer look, then shaking her head, "No, it's just the powerage indicator for one of the ethernet servers here in the building. The 'A' stands for Amps, god knows they needed it to operate those kind of super computers," she took the picture to mind, "Good find though, it'll save me some time looking for the place to conduct a more thorough server search anyway," Alex moved off to some corner office cubciles through a doorway, keeping her Browning ahead of herself by several steps, continuing her search there.

Rusty kinda figured that there wouldn't be one hundred experiments in one room, but it was worth a try. He really wanted to go to see his dad's work space, perhaps there was something there that would lead Rusty to him. A door lead to the next room, Rusty alerted his group that he'd be going in there, so they wouldn't wonder where he was. He left the door open regardless. There were some stairs leading to the next level on the right side of the room. The stairs curled around, like a spiral. Rusty looked in some more filing cabinets. He didn't find anything useful. There was a computer on a desk. Rusty decided to see if it was connected to a mainframe. He turned on the computer. It beeped loudly, then the screen turned black for a few seconds. Then a message popped up: Unable to connect to mainframe... Please restart the mainframe... Rusty looked at his map. A maintenance room was on the second floor, but he wasn't about to go up there alone and get killed. He promised Risa and J that he would stay safe and rescue people. He missed his family.
Rusty got up from the chair and continued his search. He accidentally tripped over his own feet and hit his head on a filing cabinet. It made a hollow banging sound. "Owwww... My head." He got up and shook his head, just making himself more dizzy, causing him to stumble and fall again. He laid there, waiting for the dizziness to fade before getting up again.
As he lay there, the computer booted up. Rusty sat up in disbelief. He walked over to the computer and looked at the files. He found a whole file of his father's work, and read all of it with interest. Then, a zombie came in and bit him on the neck. He cried out in pain and then woke up from where he had fallen the second time. His heart was pounding. He must've been asleep only five minutes.

G continued walking down the stairs. They spiraled, and they were made of metal slabs, all held together with one long, spiraling, metal bar. He descended noisily. The voices stopped. A loud, hollow bang came from the room G was headed toward. He heard moaning now. He stopped. Quietly now, G went down the stairs, with his Beretta at the ready. As he reached the final step, he peeked into the room. A man was laying on the ground. As G was about to walk toward him, a shot was fired. G hid behind the wall and went back up the stairs. It seemed as if those people were here to exterminate him. He'd have to kill them if he were to survive and find Klara and Karly. He heard voices again.
G is now at 2nd Floor: Synthetics
G went back to Dr. Gradyshaw's room to think of how to kill his exterminators. He sheathed his blade and paced the room. The stairwell would be a near suicide exit because those exterminator people would kill him. Perhaps there might be a fire escape he could use. Also, there might be a way to access the roof. G decided to look for the fire escape first. He exited the room and headed toward a window, craning his neck to see if there was a fire escape. He found one, but then froze before getting out.
The exterminators would follow him. Only if he gets hurt would he use the fire escape. G shut the window and went to hide inside of Dr. Gradyshaw's room, prepared to strike the first exterminator to come within reach of his blades.

Alex hadn't been too cool with Rusty breaking off from the group but he was only a stones throw away. Having a wall between party members always proved lethal though, in her theory, especially if it was made of metal which bullets couldn't penetrate. She waved Rusty off and continued rustling through the cubicles. It seemed at some stage a group had squatted here; sheets had been hung up and rotten food lay about the place, it was long abandoned. There was a small area reserved for a fire, indicated by the black ring, 'Most of the paper must have been used to fuel that damn thing...' she placed her hands on her hips and 'tsk'ed while shaking her head, 'Eh, odds are there wasn't anything too important that the employees were hiding. I hope,'
A bang was generated from the room Rusty was in. Alex shrugged it off, just the search process. She was flicking through a list of payslips to see whether there was anything out of the ordinary on the weekly cheque when a cry was heard from where Rusty was searching. Alex stood on the spot for a few seconds to think over the situation, frozen in motion with only her eyes looking about the direction of the scream. There was a change in shadow at the end of the hall, subtle but noticeable; Alex resisted the urge to shoot so she didn't pull any unwanted attention.
When no further sounds followed Alex drew her Browning and began to stride to the room of the scream, looking back to Al figuring he had heard aswell, "Rusty?" she called before nearing the door, at which point Alex slowed down and training her iron sights on the square arch in front of her. Was the scream connected with the bang? There had been a strange window of time between that and Rusty's scream so it didn't sound feasable, 'Really, the scream by itself seems weird, it was short, nothing followed it,' overcoming her nerves Alex span around the corner, first aiming at Rusty which had caught her attention the most before scanning the rest of the room for any threats.
Rusty was sitting on the floor, he seemed dazed and there was a copious amoung of blood running from his head, "What happened?" Alex asked while hastily moving forwards and kneeling down beside the man. First she pushed his head back by the forehead and checked his pupils, if they were dilated it meant he was infected; nothing stood out so Alex immediately crossed over to the cut in his head, "Freaking hell, how did you manage that?" she queried taking a good look at it before looking around the room at what it had been struck on, "It'll probably make you feel sick for a bit so just rest for a second, no point hitting your head against anything else... damn it, I'm not supposed to be patching people up for heavens sake," she pulled a small suture from her belt pouch and applied it to the wound placing two thin banages across the cut and wiped the excess blood away with the palm of her glove.
Alex checked the rest of his head for any more injuries, then gave him a small senseless slap on the cheek for his full undivided attention, "We're sticking together now, ya'here," she said, smirking while looking at Rusty square in the eyes. Alex stood up and walked out of the closed in office, checking on Al too and breathing a small sigh of relief, 'Or is that a sigh of grief?' her head turned to where she had seen the change in shadow, swearing that it took on a humanoid form, "Just keep your wits about, Al," she told the big guy, "Got that feeling we're not the only ones in the building,"
There was a moment where Alex felt the weight rise in her head, becoming a little disoriented. She held the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes, moaning a little from the nausea. Her mind took leaps and bounds as images popped into her head.
Images of soldiers in hazmat suits with their own O2 tanks attached, the flames they were creating sucked all the oxygen out of the air.
Alex could feel that decrease in oxygen now, it would hit all of them when their time started dwindling. It was the perfect sign to let them all know when they had to get out though, she started breathing heavily, "Don't hold your breath, whatever you do," Alex mentioned while giving her lungs a work out and pumping blood around her body more thoroughly, "Can you walk Rusty? I want to go check out the Directors office as soon as possible. Then we'll head on up to the labs," Alex looked to Al, nodding, and moving off down the East corridor.

Al shook his head. He knew almost nothing beyond the name, and that they were tougher then anything had a natural right to be. He didn't comment on it though, reserving himself to keeping up his search, in case he could find some real supplies or other useful items, plus whatever documents seemed interesting. He heard the muffled talking from Alex, and just shook his head. When she warned him about not being alone, he unslung the Galil, letting it hang off the strap rather then hold it in any real tactical styled grips. He looked at Rusty, and just shook his head, before commenting.
"Must of been a real nasty desk or something, huh Rusty? And right behind you Alex, let's do this search and get clear."
He followed her instructions, not holding his breath and breathing steadily, keeping an eye on Rusty as well as his surroundings. Who knew what he did when he banged his head up like that, so he watched him in case something went wrong, or he hit his head on something else. Last thing they needed was someone knocked out with all those crazy pyro's out there, burning everything in sight. But he didn't want to hang around for that either. It was starting to dawn on him that the flame throwing lunatics were awfully close, and that made him all the more eager to get the job done and get out, even if he didn't outright say he was worried about it.

"Thanks," Rusty mumbled as Alex used basic medical knowledge to clean his head. He got up, regained his balance and said, " Don't worry, I'll be alright." He felt embarrassed about tripping over his own feet, but knew that there was nothing he could be about being a klutz.
When Al asked him about the desk, Rusty ran his fingers through his hair in embarrassment and said, " Actually it was a filing cabinet..." Then, he burst out laughing because he felt so stupid. He realized that he shouldn't have laughed so loud and covered his mouth. "Sorry... Geez I'm such a klutz..."
The trio headed toward the Director's Office. Rusty glanced back to see if the shadow was still there. It was, like it was watching him... He quickly looked forward and quickened his pace. He used the napalm throwers as an excuse for his speed, " Let's hurry, those crazy flamethrower guys could burn this place down at any moment." He looked at the map and then forward. "That room over there is the Director's Office. Let's go." Rusty led the group to the door. A hallway led away from the door. Rusty saw something shambling. "Umm... We may have a problem with B.O.Ws," he said as he pointed his gun at the zombie.

"B.O.W.s and undead are two different things, Rusty. If you ever hear someone shout 'B.O.W.', you should be running, not fighting," Alex explained, lifting her Pro9 up and aiming at the zombie, she took a pot shot and capped its left temple. It fell to the ground, limp; seconds later thick smoke wafted up from its mouth and entrance wound, quickly dissipating, "What the hell?" Alex asked, quizzically. She stepped forwards and knelt down, sniffing from a reasonably safe distance. Her nose contorted and she reeled back, waving her hand in front of her face, "Puh... god damn. Careful how close you get to these ones, they're laced with carbon fiber. Probably caught in the substance in the labs. This stuff's fatal if you breathe it in," Alex stepped over the dead body and continued down the hall, opening her senses to her surroundings.

Remus reclined, putting his feet up on the large desk, watching Jennifer play with something in the dirt of one of the overturned plants. He thought of something funny and called out to her.
"Hey Jen look! I'm one of those big time corporate wackos!" Jen turned to him and smiled. Leaving behind whatever she was doing in the dirt she walked up to the front of the counter.
"I'm here to see Mr. Wacko." she said in her most professional voice. Remus raised an eyebrow and smiled. Taking his feet off the desk, he sat up straight and leaned forwards.
"This is Mr. Wacko, what may I help you with today?" Jennifer giggled and picked up a piece of paper from the floor, placing it on the desk.
"This paper is for you from the big wacko!" Remus put on an expression of mock surprise and grabbed the paper eagerly.
"The big Wacko! Wow maybe I'm getting a promotion!" Jennifer burst out in a fit of giggles and Remus smiled at her. The two didn't have a care in the world here in this apocalyptic society. They took the dangers as they came, with sadistic grins on their faces.

Gray entered the laboratories lazily. The guy he had been hired to find was a scientist, and perhaps he worked here. Truth be told, he was sick of looking for this guy. The only thing Gray had to look forward too was the pay if he succeeded.
As he wandered into the reception lobby, he spotted two other people. His eyes were immediately drawn to the male, as he had several knives visibly attached to him. What the hell was he doing with so many knives? Unfortunately for Gray, he was not the guy he was looking for. Despite this, Gray spoke from the other side of the room, his tone a little rude. ''Who the hell are you? Ya work here?''

Caught up in his games with Jennifer, Remus didn't notice the new man enter the room until he called out to him. Remus looked up at the same time Jennifer turned around. The man that entered was scruffy to say the least. It wasn't that he didn't take care of himself, there was just a certain street toughness about him. Remus smiled. That was fine, he loved the tough guys. Excitedly Jennifer pointed to the new man.
"Look Remy! A new friend." Remus smiled and reclined once again behind the desk.
"Work here?" He responded to the man thoughtfully. "Well, can't ya tell? I'm head wacko!" At this, Jennifer covered her mouth as she burst into a fit of giggles. As soon as she could speak she parroted Remus.
"Yup head wacko! Are you here to see Mr. Wacko?" she asked with a coy smile on her face. The devilish grin on Remus' lips grew wider. He and jennifer hadn't had a friend to play with in a while. Things could get interesting.
