"Ah crap that thing just flanked the boss."
Malcom aimed at the assassin, zeroing in on it as it knocked Art sprawling. It had recovered an axe from one of the buildings and was swinging it like a maniac, whilst keeping it's feet moving to maintain balance.
"I think I can break his pattern, get ready for an opening."
As the axe was raised overhead for a downward swing, Mal fired at it's wrist, severing the hand, making him drop his weapon and the lost of the weight causing him to fall on his face. It slithered back into a crouching position and grabbed the axe again, shoving the handle into it's arm stump.
"Okay, that's just nasty."
Another burst caught him in the knee when he started running again, his leg separating mid jump before he landed on another roof edge. Tiring of being shot at the mutant whipped his rifle off his back, balanced the barrel on the hooked end of the axe and took aim around, looking for his attacker. The recoil on one leg would likely throw him on his backside, but a good hit would be worth it.
"Okay, he's focused my way again, someone else take a shot."

"What, cant deal with a little gunfire?" Daniel asked, snickering into his radio. He couldnt help it, and he figured it wouldnt hurt them, the monster hearing that little bit. And if it did, then he needed to have his lips sewn shut because he'd never stop nay other way.
Either way, as he made his comment, he lined up a shot. He had a perfect angle, to the side of the monster, a perfect angle on the receiver of its weapon. He may not be able to take this thing out with bullets, but a rifle didnt heal up from bullet holes. He fired another single shot, this one at a shorter range, and planted a highly damaging 6.5 round into the weapon. Sparks flew and metal shattered as the creatures rifle was nearly destoryed, the weapon being irrepairable.
"It aint shooting anyone." He said, lining another shot up. So what if bullets wouldnt kill the thing. It was still fun to shoot this f**ker full of holes. He fired another round, embedding it in the creatures side.

"Riko," Art called over the radio, and before he could answer she continued. "In my office, there's a steal box, bring it," she said.
"Roger that," he replied.
Art walked over to the edge of the building, and looked down at the train as it sat there. "Griffon, get the train ready. Were leaving," she said as she looked up at Malcom and Daniel as they kept the creature busy. Looking back at Riko as he halfway climbed the back ladder to hand her the semi heavy box. She pulled it up onto the room, and then motioned him up. "Stay close," she said as she opened the box revealing three chains. "One for waist, one for hands, and one for legs. There magnetic, and made with titanium. They are also melded together with dimonds." She grined as she pulled them out, and they looked as though they had never been used. "Don't ask where I got them from," she said as she looked to him. Tossing him the cuffs, and legs.
"Daniel Malcom. Time to be bate," she said with a grin. Though it was obvious that the creature wasn't going to fall for it. She wanted it alive, or relativly alive for the time being. Maybe they would be able to get some information out of it. If not they could always have target practice later. She motioned Riko over to the other side as she followed along the other side of the roof. This creature in the end would either go for Riko or herself.
Of course it was going for her. Why was it that all creatures and humans always portrayed the female as the weakest link. Art braced herself as the half bullet holled ridden creature tackled her to the ground. Feeling it's fist cross her face as she shifted to avoid the brunt of it. She never took into consideration blocking, at least not at the moment. Her hands worked feabeously on the waist belt, once feeling it secured into place. It was after that she finally brought her hands up to block her face. Riko rushed over to her with the leg cuffs and hand cuffs of some sort. Motioning Malcom and Daniel over for assistance.

Daniel had run from his rooftop, making his way to the door and ramming it opep with his outstretched arms so roughly it almost came off of the hinges. He ran with a speed that made a quarterback jelous, reaching the door of the roof Art was on. He made it there before Malcolm, pulling out his 1911 after slinging his M4 over his shoulder.
He took the steps three at a time, almost jumping each one. He reached the roof without breaking a sweat, seeing Art on the ground and Riko struggleing to cuff it. He remembered what they had said about it, how it healed up, and thought nothing of his next action.
He closed the distance to the creature and fired several times, the .45 rounds doing their job of subduing it a bit. After it eased up its movements, he slipped his finger out of the trigger guard and grabbed it by the back of the head. He pulled it back, exposing its throat, and slammed down the metal butt of the weapon into the creatures throat. The force knocked it onto the ground. He got to his knees, set the pistol to the side, and worked on the cuffs alongside Riko.

Malcom retreated from the office to the nearest fire escape, using the frame to jump to the next building over, a few more similar jumps got him to the rooftop with Riko and Daniel. He took to stripping the mutant of it's gear, ammo belt, radio and the axe blade it had shoved in it's arm wound.
"Best double check this freak, if we're taking him in alive I don't want him shivving us while we sleep."
He dropped a knee onto it's shoulder and neck to keep it pinned down whilst the cuffs were secure.
"We getting anything from him?"

Art rolled her should, and her jaw when she climbed up onto her feet. She picked up the shakles, and firmly placed them on it's feet. "This thing may not be able to talk, but lets see what your sister can get from him," she said looking to Riko. Once they had firmly placed the cuffs on the creature she proceded to kick it off the roof. Using the pole herself she climbed down with the others following. "I need security to the science lab, and make it a high threat," she pointed out. With Riko's help they pulled the creature to the train. "Griffon. Pull out when your ready," she called out. "Rio get to the science lab." With the assistence of the others they were able to pull the rather resistant creature onto the train. Down the hall, and into the science lab. Everything seemed to be fasened securily into place. Along with a heavy metal chair that was bolted to the floor.
Carefully putting him into the chair. They strapped the creature back, and then let it's arms go. Securing them to the chair in three different places. An again with the legs that were secured as well in three different places. It's head was strapped back as well. One of the guards proceded to cover up all the windows, set up the camera's and turned the lights on high. "Were all secured," he called out. "We'll be able to monitor him from the communications room, and your office," he said looking to Art.
"Good. I do not want anyone alone in here with this creature. When the scientist is in here make sure there are at least three guards on it," she looked at Riko. "Where is your sister?"
"She was hurt on the mission. Probably resting should I go get her?" he asked.
"No, just tell her when she wakes up to asses this thing. I need to know everything about it as soon as possible," she said before leaving the room. "The rest of you are free to go. Death Valley will be our next stop. No more stops inbetween."

Griffon watched oddly as the team brought the Lurker onto the train and got back on board. "Since when do we take freaks prisoner?" He asked himself shaking his head. In the end it was better to let Art have her way. She was already ticked he made the stop. Starting everything back up he blew the whistle to let all of the gathered steam out and began accelerating after he was sure everyone was onboard. Fearing that there were more traps laid ahead for them he switched on the overhead heat vision to check the tracks for bombs. Things were getting tighter day by day and was hard to tell what tracks were safe. Fortunately there were enough that the Sincell couldn't have eyes everywhere. Looking at the radar infront of him he soon got an idea and turned on the intercom.
"Hey Rio...remeber how we were talking about that things radio communication? Is there any way to maybe mask ourselves in it's signal so the base will register that thing coming back to base rather than us?"

Rio looked up from her bed. Flinching slightly as she climbed to her feet. She grabbed her messenger bag, and walked out into the hall. "I'm a scientist not a computer genious," she mumbled under her breath.
"Servers you right for learning to hack computers," Rio laughed. He went to put his hand on her shoulder and stopped when she flinched. He sighed heavily and looked at the floor. "Rio for before . . ."
"Yeah what every," she said as she walked past him. "I just . . . just drop it," she said lightly as she walked down the hall. She opened the door between trains to move to the next. She didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to think that her brother had lost it so badly that it had caused him to hit her. She felt the sting on her cheek, and the hot tears running down them. Wiping her face she shook her head trying to push it past to the back of her mind. She stopped at the communication area, and picked up the intercom. "Griffon, that's a good idea. I'll see what I can do. I'm heading to the room. I need to look at it's equipment to see exactly what I'm dealing with," she said lightly. Handing it back over she looked at one of the men. "Can you please have someone bring me something to eat and drink. I'll be in the lab." She smiled when he nodded and she walked off to the lab.
Opening the door she stood there looking at the creature, and in turn all it did was stare back at her. Rio tilted her head and the creature did the same. "Independent thanker?" she asked no one in particular. The guard beside her shrugged his shoulders. "I'm having something brought to the lab to eat. If you three want something to eat you can share mine. I don't think I'll finish it all, and the kitchen usually gives me more whenever I'm in the lab," she explained.
Walking over to the counter she started setting up her laptop. She then moved over to the creature and looked it over. Slipping on a pair of gloves as she walked around it. Reaching over to the intercom she hit the button. "Daniel Malcom can you two come to the science lab," she said. Looking up she smiled as one of the kitchen employees stepped in. "Damn, thank you got enough to feed a platoon?"
"Maybe. I know how you are when it comes to this lab. not to mention these three probably eat it all," the woman said as she sat the tray and drinks on the table. "Do enjoy." With that she walked out.
Rio popped off her gloves and walked over to the keyboard. Typing in a few things as the computer set up for a search. While her computer was searching she reached over and fixed her something small. Her ribs were hurting, and as much as she was starving she found it a tad bit painful to swallow. "Never swallow sand . . . check . . ." she mumbled as she started sipping on the straw, and waited for the others to arrive.
------------------------------
After a bit of dressing her own wounds, and not wanting any of the others to really know how bad it hurt she tended to herself. Once satisfied she walked out of her office shutting the door behind her. Instead of heading to the science lab to check on their new passenger she stopped at the kitchen. Picking up something to eat and drink she made her way to the front of the train. Several cars later she was at the front of the train where Griffon lived and worked. She sighed a bit before walking inside. This train was as much his baby as it was hers. She looked over to him as he worked away. Setting the tray down she walked over to one of the windows and looked out. "She wont tell me that it was your idea," she said lightly as she looked to him. "I know it was though . . . " She paused for a moment before looking toward the tray. "I brought you something to eat." She rubbed her side for a moment before straightening up.

Daniel walked into the science lab almost immediately after Rio had called them there. He hadn’t strayed too far, hadn’t even put his rifle away. It made him uneasy how something that had taken a few shots to the face and kept going strong was on the train, on their base of operations, in their home. It something happened, he didn’t care what Art said or wanted, he’d pump that thing full of lead and see just how long it took before it laid down and died. Then he’d strap a bomb to it and throw it off the train. For fun and for insurance.
He walked over to the table that the tray was set on and looked at it, picking up a piece of bread and laying a few things out on it.
“So, what’s up?” He asked her. His way of asking how she was doing after what had happened and what she had found out about this thing. If anything.

Having left the warehouse long ago, Tobias had wandered the area until finding a way out in the form of a team of people who were leaving. He had been stripping one of the local corpses of its rifle and ammo when he spotted them. Quickly ducking inside a building, he watched them proceed before trailing them. Shadowing them as quietly as possible, he grabbed the police cruiser and followed their lead to exit the city driving a bit away to stay with them. Until he would be discovered, Tobias would follow to the best of his ability.
OOC: Left area and following to Death Valley. I know it is short, but I figured I would do the large post in Death Valley.

Dallas had been walking from the south side of Chicago to the Warehouse district and was tired and needed a rest. Dallas saw a Smaller warehouse were he could rest up and then continue looking for a way out of the city. As he walked down the old and quiet streets he noticed a couple of Zs that had been staggering around waiting for a meal to come through but and far as he could tell they probably wouldn't bother him what so ever only if he drew attention to himself. Dallas walked toward the old small warehouses door with his 45. ready to blow anything that moaned head off. " Oh boy here we go" said Dallas putting his hand around the door knob and turning it and pushed it open slowly. " No ones home" said Dallas walking towards the stairs that lead to the Observation office where he could stop and rest. Dallas Holstered his 45. and shouldered his M-4 turning on the light to see what was in front of him. Nothing but open space and old dust throughout the warehouse and a couple of old metal container that had god knows what inside of them. " This place is a dump" said Dallas slowly approaching the stairs. " And up we go" Dallas responded pointing his M-4 in front of the stairs and quietly walked up the old shaky metal stairs. " One fish two fish 3 fish blue fish" said Dallas joking around while he walked up the stairs. Dallas finally got to the door of the Office and slowly opened it to reveal a small dusty office that had a chair and a desk that had dust all over them. " This is goin have to do" said Dallas as he closed the door behind him and put his rifle down on the desk. Dallas sat in the chair and leaned back and nodded off into a deep sleep.
