As Emily made it towards the end of the tunnel, she was greeted with a shotgun and handgun in her face. She relled back a bit and quirked an eyebrow.
"Emily!?"
"Emily!"
Emily smiled a bit as she watched Rick and Rey lower their weapons. Before she spoke, however, she looked over at the second tunnel, wondering where Louis and Mr. Doucette were.
"Where's that other guy that was with you?" Rick asked. Emily sighed a little and then lookedback at him, then over at Rey. "Oh, kid, your grandfather is with Louis. They should be coming through the tunnel any minute"
"Lovely, a family reunion. Wish it was on better terms," Rick said, patting the young girl's shoulder.

Rey lowered her gun once she realized it was Emily, and then smiled. She had heard the train pass by them on the other side of the tracks, but she knew they wouldnt just leave them behind. But she was a bit puzzled once Emily spoke about her grandfather being with Louis, was that really possible? Joeys father, of all the people to find, she couldnt have been lying. "My... Grandfather? Lets go, hurry!"
Richard rested himself against the bank, and waited for the group return. This was certainly a change of pace, but was Louis planning this all along? Either way, Richard was possitive that she would take him to see Joey, that is unless this was all coming much more clear. He hadnt though of it right away, but maybe the reason this people were looking after Rey was because Joey was... His thoughts were cut away when he heard the voices coming from down the tunnel.

Emily waited long enough. Once they hadn't come out of the tunnel, she gripped her handgun tighter, about to make a run for the other tunnel. Rick grabbed her shoulder tightly, looking down at his friend. "Emily, what's wrong?"
Emily growled a little, her teeth clenching. Louis shouldn't have been trusted! She looked back up at Rick. "Louis must've done something, there's no reason why they haven't come out yet. I have to go see if that old man's alright," she told him sternly.
Rick pulled out his shotgun again, nodding towards Rey and Julie. "Rey, hold onto my daughter for me. We're going into the tunnel. C'mon."

As they both began to walk into the tunnel, Richard emerged, and saw everyone together now. Here was Emily, another man, a teenager, and a very young girl. He could conclude that the youngest one wasnt his daughter, as she was too young to even hold a gun. But the teenager, she was the one with a 9mm handgun, that mustve been Joeys daughter. But she didnt look anything like him, not even close. Putting this aside, he spoke out, walking toward the outside of the tunnel. "Sorry if I got any of you worried... Is this Rey here?"
Rey approached the old man, Joeys father? It was definitly him, the resemblence was all there. Face, eyes, height, even the sound of his voice, the tone anyway. "Im Rey... Joey needed me to stay away from him, so he put asked Louis to make sure I was alright. Where is he?" Richard looked up at the bank, he was long gone by now. It didnt really make sense, but it didnt have to make any. "He told me to look after you, id say there was somewhere he had to be... These are for you..." Richard passed the two magazines to Rey, as she grabbed them, and smiled.

Emily scoffed a little, her eyes fixed on Richard and Rey, though her mind was far from them. Rick noticed this and tilted his a head a bit, looking at her. "There's something bothering you. I'd know that look anywhere..."
Emily placed a hand on her hip, leaning towards the left a little. "It's nothing. So, do you two still wanna escape Raccoon or are we going back to the Forest for your father, Rey?" she asked the teen.
Rick grimaced a little, looking over at his daughter, Julie who'd been oddly quiet for quite some time now. He smiled at her and nudged her with his foot. The little girl looked up at him and smiled widely.
"I don't think it a good idea to expose Julie to any dangers in the forest...I think we'll go on ahead, get the hell out of Raccoon," he told her.
Emily frowned. "Wait a second, I---"
"Come with us," Rick asked, hoping she would. Emily didn't know how to respond at that point. Louis was gone, Richard was here to protect Rey, but at the same time, she kinda felt it was the right thing to stay back and help the two of them out...but she didn't exactly want to part ways with Rick and his daughter either.

"We cant go back there... Joey told me to stay away from there, it was too dangerous..." Rey spoke after everyone seemed to have their eyes set on a plan. Leaving Raccoon City would be good, but that would mean adandoning Joey. But going back to him now would be going against what he said. It was quite the difficult choice, maybe she should let Richard give his words in.
Richard listened to everyone speak, but especially interested in Rey. Wether she was his actual daughter or not, she was obviously a very close friend of his. Given the age, would make Joey more like her guardian, but splitting the atom doesnt go against the point that they were close. If Joey says its too dangerous to stick around there, then as a father, this made Richard a little uneasy. "...Then we should drop in, see whats going on..."
The ideas were just thrown out there, nothing was final, and everyone seemed to have their own idea. But one thing was for certain. Joey had every chance to leave Arklay Forest, leaving this place wasnt the problem. The whole world was just like this, Raccoon City would be just as safe as wherever they were planning to escape to. Richard knew these people would figure that out, but after they leave the city, it would be too late. "Just throwing this out there, but... Where exactly do you plan to go? The rest of the world is just as bad as this, even worse in some places..."

Emily looked over at the older man and then back over to Rick. Rick picked his daughter up and held her tightly, looking back at Richard. "I know it's not anymore safer out there than it is here, but sitting around in one place is only going to put my daughter and Emily into more danger. I'm sure your a father, sir, so you should understand. I'm only trying to keep moving inhopes of a safer place for her," he explained.
Emily thought for a moment at his words and at Mr. Douchette's words. That's when it hit her. "Oh, wait a moment. I got an idea. My Uncle Jack. He's still alive and well. He owns a ranch in Kentucky. It's spacious, I'm sure they have food and water, shelter, and he's a damn good shot. My cousin, Anna, should be heading there sometime with Richard and that one soldier guy theyw ere with. We could drop by after we see if Joey's alright. How about that?"

Richard looked at the man and the little girl. He was right, they should keep moving, it was the best idea at the moment that everyone could agree on. Looking back at Emily, he nodded. "Alright alrighty, sounds good... Lets get going..." Richard knew that they were going out of their way just to get back to Arklay, but as long as they kept moving, the hike across the city limits wouldnt take them longer then the rest of the day, and they should arrive sometime tonight.
Rey didnt think it was a good idea going against what Joey said, but it wasnt like they had a choice. Thinking about it, if Joey knew there was going to be some sort of danger, then with everyone around, they should be able to handle it as a group. "Alright... I know the way back, we just have to up acoss the city limits into the forest again, then its just a matter of walking..."

Emily was relieved that everyone was able to agree on something. But which ever way it goes, she had decided she'd get the other two where they needed to go, but immediately afterwards she would have to part ways with Rick and Julie. She was sure they'd be capable of handling themselves. Maybe with luck, they'd find someone else who can take just as good care of them. Either way it goes, they had a solid plan. Hopefully it would all work out.
Rick agreed to the plan, but only because he wanted to make sure Emily too would be alright. She was his close friend after all. They had been close since highschool. He gripped his shotgun tighter into his grasp. "Well, then it's settled. Let's move out."
Emily nodded and followed after the two men ahead of her, covering the back. She looked over at the teen girl and smiled. "You ready to see your dad again, Rey?" with that said, they had made their way out of the station.
[Richard, Emily and company have left the station and are now in the Dirt Path]
